Clutter in the aisles. How is someone in a wheelchair able to get through the clutter?

🙋 Friendly employees & a clean store has me shopping longer~only positive experiences at the Woodside location-perfect place for a DG!😢although I often locate items without a price tag on or around them~this is very aggitating and you have lost the sale of many items because of this. One item, I wouldnt mind asking for a price. but 7?? 🤷- 🙋🚗Occasionally its a clearance item, but that shouldnt matter. All items should be clearly marked if you want to sell them.🤔Just MY Opinion.

Staff was no where to be found. I walked around the store twice before I could find someone and than I was told to wait a few minutes while the staff talked to each other. Ended up just leaving the stuff in a basket on the counter and walked out.

Its a store that you can run into real quick but theyre very high in price

They didnt salt there parking lot on new years Eve 2020. The manager said they salted that morning yet I slipped and fell in there parking lot.

I like this place because they always are very helpful to me when i go there. If i need something they help me find it or tell me where i can get it.

Lady who waited on me very nice, went out of her way. For a holiday her attitude was great. Some people work a holiday, this is not always true

Do I think we have a lot of dollar generals, yes. But they have the essentials and in smaller towns its essential to have normal house hold products, not to mention job opportunities.

Excellent service was helped a lot and when where stuff was with no complaint

The store is dirty, stuff all other the floor. No ad papers out and the employee told us to wait until 1 PM until the manager comes in and it was only 11 am. The employees were not helpful. The cashier was on her personal phone yelling at someone. When some of the digital coupons did not work, she told us oh well just pay the regular price I dont know about that. She was not nice about it either. You could tell that she hates her job and thats too bad. Whoever the manager is at that store on Euclid ave in bay city,mi should not be manager. They should find people that will appreciate having a job and even if they hate it, dont be rude to the customers. Something has to change at that store because it sure shows that the employees really dont care.

I love Dollar General it was and is still my favorite store. I worked there a few years back in Auburn MI and my dear friend Debbie Greenwood that has passed away was the Store manager at that time. She waa awesome and i miss her everyday

Went in for hand sanitizer and toilet paper but decided food was a better means of survival.

I buy at Dollar General supplies that are much less expensive store brand than name brands. Makeup is unbelievably inexpensive as well as OTC medicines. Clerks are alwAYS friendly and helpful.

I Had a lot of things in my hands so I go to get a shopping cart and then one employee said to me were closing in fifteen minutes with somewhat of a attitude I never asked what time theyre closing I could just feel her bad mood I noticed when she said something to her other coworker he responded with such sadness you could tell she was bringing him down 2. Besides that the store looked amazing lots of choices and nice things. I wanna go back but then I dont want to be treated like my money is no good there..

Good deals. Check the expiration date on refrigerator stuff sometimes it is a little past date.

The workers and the store is amazing. The tall, male manager over there though always has the worst attitude and customer service when my employees and I come in to buy things. This is not a one time thing and happens quite often to me personally. He is way out of hand and acts entitled whenever we see him.

I got here at just after 830pm. All the lights were on and no sign that said they were closed. the business hour sign on the door said closes at 9pm. But the doors were locked and no one was around and as I said all the lights were on? I called the store on Lafayette and they had no idea what why or what was happening?

I absolutely love Dollar General. Ive shopped here since the day they opened (Layfayette store in Bay City, MI). I was so happy when the Euclud store opened (close to home). Pretty much everytime I go to the Euclid store I cant get half the things I came for. Not stocked good at all. Anyway just went to get a case of water. There wasnt any on the shelf. There was stock all over. Mustve just got the truck in. Long story short..I asked the young man if he could get me a case of Clover Valley water. He told me not rt now. This isnt the 1st time this has happened at this location. He was on the floor stocking shelves in the water aisle. Needless to say I went elsewhere. The employees arent the friendliest either. Not all of them but a few. Somebody in this store needs to get it together! Love shopping here but it stinks when you go for a specific item and they have it but cant take 2 minutes to get it for you. I totally understand if youre out of a product...but when its rt there...thats bologna!

I could and would Love to give them 5 Stars! Products - Perfect. Prices - Perfect. Cleanliness - Not Dirty, but Cluttered. Stuff everywhere. You have to move a skid to grab an item. The sale price stickers are never up, i have to refer to my sale ad I save to my phone. STAFF - ABSOLUTLEY HORRIBLE. I live just dont the road, before I moved there I drove an extra 4 miles to shop at that store and i had a DG quarter mile down the road. 2 yrs ago it was a 5 star store all day long. Now... the staff sadly ruins it. They are lazy, rude, unsanitary and clueless to why they replaced the fantastic staff that was there previous. Believe me, I spend a lot of money at Dollar General, to have to drive 10 mins out of my way because of the Staff is unfortunate. Who in their right mind would think its okay to eat while ringing customers?! And when I ask for help on a top shelf item I should get a huff or an eye roll or its gonna be bit as they stand and converse with one another in the aisle no less like Im interrupting their break and an inconvenience. and lastly, and this still angers me...the store closes at 9 p.m. I run up there often for quick odds and ends, it was 8 mins before closing and although I try not to do that to them sometimes you need something. As Im walking up to the door a gentleman walked in and I about 15 feet behind him. The girl work stopped me at the door and says Nuh Uh We Closed she has one arm on the door and the other one out toward me. I said Excuse Me? I have almost 10 mins before you close Im just grabbing a gallon of milk. Her response No, Nuh Uh We closed, my register closed dont come shoppin when you know we about to be closed. I was SO angry. I then said: you let that man come in to the store thats not supposed to be closed yet and your telling me and cant come in? She said he different dont worry about it, we closed. She shut the door and locked it! I was dumbfounded. Discrimination at its finest. And Im sure it would be defended without issue being it was the discrimination that gets ignored. Only emergencies do I go to that store now and even then their Work Ethics never ceases to amaze me. Just goes to show we will shop anywhere to get the items we need because they are needed. Whether it be cheaper, convienance, availability or whatever; we will endure the worst of the worst. So why take pride in hiring a deserving Staff? Theres just no need. The 24 hr store (Wal*art) 1/2 mile down the road is another good example of staff that have no training, no desire, no skill and yet the store is always packed. Now that specific store I wont step foot in.In Conclusion of my Rant - BEWARE of Horrible Staff.

I can always find a bargain here, and its easier to shop that giant box stores like Walmart. Good value for the price, helpful staff.

Lots of merchandise, but telling which items were on sale was a challenge. School folders, 6 for $1, were mixed in with the ones for $1 each. The cashier was complete annoyed that we didnt want the ones that werent on sale. While the mixup wasnt his fault, neither was it ours. He did help us get the ones we wanted, but the attitude was uncomfortable for us, as well as the customers behind us. Very uncomfortable.
