Just went to my first bjj class tonight and I have to say, I loved it, I’m hooked! Everybody was friendly and welcoming, from the coaches to the students. Coaches are awesome, great instructors. I gotta admit, I went in with a little bit of nerves lol, “probably like most people”. But by the time the class was over, all endorphins man! I put this off for like two years before tonight and all I can say is if you’re thinking about it, do yourself a favor and just do it. Sign up or just go check out a class. You won’t regret it 🤙

Great place to train and a super-friendly environment. Gabe is a great instructor, he breaks things down in way that anyone can follow along and makes sure throughout classes that each individual is training the techniques and applying concepts correctly. Lots of mat space and plenty of friendly people. The best place in Matagorda County to train and work on your physical and mental health in a fun, practical, and family-like environment.

My son and I take classes with Coach Gabe in Palacios and have been to the Bay City gym. This gym is like family and Coach Gabe really cares about his students and their needs.
