Top notch! We have used Bofinger’s two times and both times they were exceptional! They have all of the equipment needed to do quality work.Three of our trees were close to power lines and had to be handled with care. It was amazing watching them perform the intricate work. The crew also had to access our yard via our neighbor’s yard. They removed fencing between the yards and protected the yard before driving their trucks into her yard. They cleaned up afterwards and put the fence back as it was. I would definitely recommend Bofinger’s to anyone who wants the job done well.

Bofingers took extreme care in the pruning of our two live oaks (one large and one small). We have a new lawn and landscaping and you cant even tell they backed a truck with a bucket onto the lawn (or were even there). I highly recommend them.

Bofingers did a phenomenal job with our large hackberry tree that was damaged and unable to be salvaged. They were professional, timely, and efficient! Cathy was always available by phone for any of our needs and/or questions. The Crew carefully removed the large hackberry tree and cleaned up perfectly. They even removed branches that had been stuck on the roof for months! 10/10 would recommend. Bonus was that they were the cheapest out of 4 estimates we got!

Bofingers came out punctually for an estimate appointment for a big oak take-down. On the scheduled day of the take-down, George Bofinger came out to verify the setup location, then left it to his capable crew. Before his departure, the crew arrived with the most impressive collection of properly working, hi-tech heavy equipment I have ever seen for a tree job. They were on time, safe, efficient, thorough, friendly and courteous throughout. I would definitely recommend this company for similar needs.

Ive used Bofinger Tree Service for years. In fact, a previous owner of the property had also used them.I have almost never seen anyone love their job more than the owner, George Bofinger. And its infectious. His whole crew loves their work.Bofingers is equipped to take on the small stuff, removing a limb or two off a tree and hanging a bat house, (their last job for me) or large commercial ventures. His prices are somewhat lower for the homeowner if large machinery is needed since the company owns them. Theres no rental fee tacked on for a cherry picker or crane.If theres a question about the viability or safety of a tree, George will honestly tell you which is better, to take it down or shore it up.If I want any tree work done, I dont call anyone else. Ever.

Called these guys out for a consultation on a couple of trees. Mark was the arborist that came out and even though I didnt get to meet him in person, he was very polite and professional on the phone. I received my quote and was ready to give the green light on the work but had a few questions to ask so I called Mark. Mark didnt answer so I left a voicemail asking him to call me back. I never received a call back so I made a 2nd attempt but was unsuccessful in contacting him. Unfortunately, I gave the business to another company based on the fact that I couldnt get my questions answered and that I couldnt get a call back exposes the fact that I may have the same issue in the future had I done business with them. Call your customers and potential customers back guys.

Watching the Bofinger crew dissect and remove a tree is a surreal experience.It’s like an alien ship arrives in front of one’s house and, with no words spoken, the strategical operation begins and does not stop until every speck of tree is gone . . . FOREVER (probably into Outer Space!) --- WOW!We just stood back and watched in amazement, with gaping mouths, as each crew member quietly, skillfully, and, oh, so efficiently went about his ordained task. It is a well choreographed and rehearsed production with each crew member moving in rhythm and in sync with one another: standing on a giant limb as it is being hoisted into the air or using the claw to deftly pick up a HUGE tree trunk or the final remaining little pile of leaves. And then like little ants swiftly working in unison, out come the brooms and rakes and blower to remove any evidence of the fallen tree from the rooftop and in the entire front yard to the street curb.Then it’s “Beam us up, Scotty,” and the Bofinger Ship is gone.Becky MoppertGarden District
