Im am so pleased with Louisiana Tree Service! I called them last week about a tree at a property I manage that was about to fall on the house from the ice storm. Jay is one of the only companies that returned my call (even though he was without power). He took his time to listen to what was going on and told me he would get to me as soon as he could. He and his team were very prompt and the pricing was beyond fair. I will definitely be using them again for any tree needs!

I will never use this tree service again and I want to share what happened in order to warn anyone thinking to use them.I called LA tree service on 2/15 (Monday) the day a tree fell in our yard from the ice storm. Jay called me and said he would be out to give me an estimate at the end of the week or early next week. Ok no problem.I waited until Tuesday 2/23 the next week for him to come out and he never did so I called him. He said he had 4 other houses on our street and forgot to come by. No problem. He came the next day with an estimate. Told my husband “a couple hundred bucks” and that he would get it cut down early to middle of next week. Wednesday (03/03) rolled around and no one had come out. I called him and he apologized again because he thought they already did our house (again). He then tells me it’s actually $300 per hour not a couple hundred. He says he isn’t sure if anyone will be out this week it may be next week. He called me the next day on Thursday and says his crew would be out today in the afternoon but if not first thing Friday at 8am. Friday 10am rolls around and still nothing. They finally arrived at 12:30pm. This entire process was stressful and I felt and was forgotten on multiple occasions. He apologized and I appreciate that but it was all in all not great service.

Jay and his crew gave me a good estimate, came on time provided extra services and still managed to stay within his estimate even though my tree was huge and his crew was short handed. Plus they did a great job of cleaning up.

It took a while with weather to cooperate, but when the time came, all went well with excellent results. The crew removed a large water oak and a small trash tree. They worked well together and when finished, the job site was cleaned up nicely. They were friendly and informative. Neighbors were also impressed. I highly recommend Louisiana Tree Service, Inc.

The crew worked all day to make my live oak look beautiful. It now stands out and apart from all the neighbors’ trees. Everything was cleaned as they went and they left the yard like no one had ever been there. Very polite and professional.

Louisiana Tree Service did a superb job. My house is on a 2.7 acre lot and a large old tree at the back of my lot was blown over during a storm. I contacted Louisiana Tree Service and the President came out and gave me an estimate and an expected start date. It has been raining a lot around here. The President checked back with me by text and phone regarding the state of the ground in my back yard - he didnt want to damage my grass as the tree was removed. Fortunately the expected start date was good and dry, and the crew arrived here at 7:30 am (rain was expected later). They arrived with a large crew and an impressive number of trucks and heavy equipment. Everyone on the crew knew exactly what to do and the project moved along quickly. After the tree was chipped and cut into large pieces of trunk, the wood was removed and the equipment was carefully backed out from my driveway. The clean-up was meticulous, and you couldnt even tell that they had been here! Then, to top it all, the charge was BELOW the estimate. Louisiana Tree Service did a truly superb job, the management is easy to deal with, and I would recommend them to anybody. Great job, done quickly.

Louisiana Tree Services arrived on time and worked without break from start to finish. Their project for me was downing a large tree with pervasive roots (what a mess), removing the stump, and cleaning it all up. The three-person crew worked together efficiently and quickly. Jay first stopped by my house to look at the trees on a Saturday and spent 1 hour explaining the work they would do. He called me back 2 weeks after, his crew came and did a brilliant job in our front and back yard. There is so much more light now and the yard looks so much better. Also, they did a fantastic job cleaning up. I would recommend Louisiana Tree Service for whatever yard work you need to do.

Jay and his crew made dealing with a devastating incident a pleasant experience. A neighbors tree fell on my carport, destroyed my carport and crashed my vehicle. Jay came by the same day to give me an estimate and he shared his extensive knowledge of trees. He knew the best way to remove the tree and he knew the inner workings of insurance companies. The next day his crew came out and worked as long as they could eventhough it started to rain. The following day, the job was completed with all of the tree debris removed from site. Finishing in only 2 days, all of the trees removed the land leveled the yard looks amazing. all of the workers were kind, professional and respectful and I would do business with them again if I needed anything else removed from the yard!!! Louisiana Tree Service did a great job trimming up our trees. We have beautiful canopies on our trees now and they did an unbelievable clean up job. I was really impressed with how they left not even the smallest pieces of trimmings in the yard. Excellent service I highly recommend them.

The entire LTS crew did a fantastic job removing a diseased, leaning 100+ft water oak. They arrived on time, went straight to work, were respectful of the driveway, yard, other landscaping, and our neighbors. When we asked questions about the work, every one of the crew was willing to answer our concern and you could actually understand what they were saying. I had on site assessments from 7 companies and received 6 estimates for the work I need done. Louisiana Tree service provided the best on site assessment, advice and information to help me make a decision on what work was actually needed and the best way to do the removal of 4 trees and raising/improving the canopy on a large white oak. I also received copies via email of the insurance and license information before I received the email estimate. That professionalism and thoroughness were the major factors in selecting Louisiana Tree Service. A secondary factor was cost but even that was in the ball park of other estimates. The on site work was neat, efficient, and professional. Very hard working crew that consulted frequently and kept me advised on what was being done and even some additional work that was recommended and completed within the original estimate. Their goal was complete satisfaction and my text to email (a little tongue in cheek) to Jay Hannaman after they left was that my expectations were not met - they were exceeded. Would not hesitate to contract with LTS again and would confidently recommend them to family, friends and neighbors. I would be shocked if LTS ever received a negative review and would not believe it.
