I heard about this place from a friend who went here years ago after going through chemotherapy. My mother is currently going through chemo and we went to Total Woman Boutique this week looking for a wig for when she loses her hair. This was the second store we went to. Kayla was the woman who helped us with wig options. They have a couple different brands- all great quality. I can’t put a fine enough point on what a wonderful experience this was for mom and I. We came in at 4pm and the store closes at 5pm, Kayla didn’t rush us and she really went above and beyond, she told us she could hold the wig and to sleep on it (good wigs are expensive, but depending on which health insurance you have, it may be covered. Ours was not). I only have 2 experiences with buying wigs. A great experience and a crummy experience, this places was the great one.I want to touch on something that I learned: Total Woman has a large assortment of undergarments that aid various issues like woman who’ve had mastectomies, lumpectomies, large cup sizes for various situations like strapless, etc. while we were trying the wigs on a sales associate came in and asked Kayla about some bras for larger women wearing some kind of uniform... and Kayla’s knowledge of what works best for the situations and why it works best blew my mind. She just had a wealth of knowledge. This review doesn’t do enough justice for how helpful this place is.I know I’m just a stranger on the internet but if you’re reading this review and you or someone you love is going through the cancer battle, you aren’t alone. I urge you to stop into the shop. Even if you aren’t purchasing anything- these woman can help. They are pros at this stuff and they will provide you with options.

I am a first time wig customer. My Thursday appointment went well with help from Amy.I had some choices/ colors already in mind but was told inventory was down due to end of the year requests and of course Covid.I chose a style and color that seemed ok but after getting it home and trying it on only one more time...I realized it did not really suit me This is where my complaint comes. PRINTED CLEARLY on their receipt is a 30 day return policy if returned with tag so I believed it would not be an issue. I called Saturday morning ...48 hrs after purchase..and left a message stating my desire to return the wig. I called back Monday morning and was told...in spite of the printed receipt... NO RETURNS/ NO EXCHANGES. They do not stand by THEIR OWN POLICY. Needless to say this is extremely disappointing and no way to conduct a business with clients who often are not clear in their choices. If I had been told of no returns UP FRONT I would have taken more time with my choice.

We had an amazing experience. My mom will start chemo soon and it was already an emotional shopping trip for new hair! The staff was amazing, patient, and understanding! I highly recommend this business! Thank you for making this transition so easy for her!

Originally, we liked this place and the customer service. We ordered a wig care package, and since they were out of stock, we were told it would be delivered to our home. Weeks went by and we got nothing. My mom called several times to ask about this and all we were told is that the woman who handles these matters is busy. Finally I called for her because my mom gave up after no one getting back to her. I was told that they did not get enough to send all the packages out, that we were on the list. No one even bothered to let us know! They also still do not have the product. I asked for the money back and was told that it would be difficult since we got some of the product in the package already. There was no apology, no concern at all. My number was taken down and she told me to call back in an hour or two in case I dont hear from her. How is that anyway to treat your customers? You dont make someone wait by the phone! And number two, this is your service issue, not mine, so you need to call the customer back. Surprise, we have still heard nothing. This is no way to do business. No apologies. I am so upset that this happened. I dont know the womans name but I know she is the daughter of the woman who owns/runs the place.

Worst experience ever! I was measured for a strapless bra that I had to place an order for. Three weeks after I placed my order I called to check on it. The lady who answered the phone had a horrible attitude and demanded me to stop calling. She told me she would call if my order came in. It has been a month and a half now and I am still waiting on my order that supposedly took two to three weeks to come in. After this I will never order a thing from them again.

I was overcharged over $400.00 and they failed to filed with my insurance so the charge would apply to my deductible.
