Definitely not a place I recommend living. Living here going on year two, also my final year. The staff is rude and act like they’re doing you a favor. When it’s their jobs. Put in plenty service request, do you think they ever were fulfilled? NOPE. Lived in a hot apartment half the year of 2020 and 2 months in 2021. So much money wasted on food, cause the heat made it go bad. They don’t even care. But based on the kitchens and bathrooms alone, you can tell this is a place that don’t care. For the price you pay here, you can definitely live in a luxury apartment elsewhere here in BR. I chose to stay here cause I like the location. But that’s ending soon. Wish refunds on living somewhere were a thing, cause I would ask for one lol but please choose else where to live, before considering Fairway.

I tried getting a apartment here and someone answers and says their name destiny and I was trying to speak with a lady name Marley soon as I ask for her she hung up in my face I tried calling these people numerous of times and yet still got a answer someone recommended me to them but now I don’t want to move here at all no more !!!!

0 stars. We hate it here and cant wait until our lease is up. This is the worst complex and worst experience weve had living in an apartment. The high rent doesnt make it any better either. We came bc the rent was higher so we expected more. All we got was stress.

Don’t move here,they never fix anything,and if it’s a hurricane your lights will be out for days and the staff will not even update you!just turn their phones off! No back up generator or nothing just bad vibes and lies!!

This initially seemed like an okay place to live but the management is incredibly poor. I had to call, email, & message on the website to get their attention. I asked for a new application because I filled out a part incorrectly but the leasing manager never emailed me back because of her “working from home”In response to the owner:Hey, the adequate thing to do would have been to respond to my email as promptly as I responded to hers or at least respond. If she would have read it shed know that I acknowledged that I messed up on my application (as I stated above) and was asking to start over. But thanks for responding this time.

Good experience with the staff in the office and pretty quiet environment where I live . However, the apartment is pretty dated and a lot of things inside such as light fixtures aren’t really working properly (if at all ) . The outside looks great , but the inside needs much work

This is not the best place to stay,but i havnt really had too many issues. i do wish that they would get more maintenance men . getting repairs fixed can be a process at times. overall i have enjoyed my townhome , been here since 2017 .

Worst apartments and management style I have ever experienced. I had to move home to take care of my family. Left forfeiting my deposit and was told I was fine and if any balance was due they would tell me. 8 months later I get a message to pay up in 4 days or the balance would go to collections. No communication before that, they practice horrible customer service. Then I asked about fact that we still in COVID and I don’t have a job and they won’t work with Me. DONT RENT FROM HERE!! There is better and nicer communities around Baton Rouge that will treat you like a human. This place doesn’t have a heart or cares about it’s residents.

I like staying here for the most part. I had a maintenance problem for about a month and they finally fixed it. The outside breaker needed to be replaced and that took a while. Besides the disrespectful neighbor on top of me. Also they don’t take rental assistance. I had a program trying to pay my rent for 3 months due to COVID and they denied it. I could have been out in the street but thank god for family.

We pay for gated community and yet the gate stay broken. Sometimes for hours other times days. But overall great community and staff for sure A & C they the BEST. Oh the maintenance team is very quick and friendly when a repair is scheduled to be done.

I like living here, and I have learned in the past 2 years that the best way to get things handled is to simply stop by and chat with the leasing office. Talk to the staff! Get to know them! Let them know you!The personal connection drives this community. Leaky faucet? Sticky closet door? Just go talk to the staff. Meet your manager and leasing crew. It is in their best interest to have happy residents....but they cannot fix what they don’t know about.Talk to the maintenance staff too...approach them 1 on 1. Be more than a unit number. It matters.

Maintenance never gets done. Back porch light has been out for over a month despite multiple calls and visits to the office and employees saying it would be fixed by the next day. After the third or fourth time, I was informed that my request had never even been logged into the system. Not sure if it had been logged even after that seeing as its been weeks since I was told that and its still not fixed.

DO NOT CONSIDER LIVING HERE AT ANY COST. This is the worst staffed complex I’ve ever encountered. They have very misleading offers to bait you and try to retract and withhold information about offers so that it is difficult for you to redeem. The staff is rude and doesn’t try to help in any way for anything especially regarding billing issues and maintenance. After taking every step to redeem an offer for a free month for referring a friend, my roommate went in the office a month before the offer was to be redeemed to ensure it could be credited to our account and they changed it to $350 then didn’t even credit the account. Also, The units do NOT look as advertised in any way. They look old and gross

Been living here for 2 years now can’t quite seem to have find everything that comes into place. It’s very convenient place to live you’re close to everything but simple stuff ain’t quite sure done correctly. No follow up on anything done, whenever something happen doesn’t have a quick response I mean I hurt everyone is busy but simple follow up or different alternatives can resolve a big problem....

I have been a resident at Fairway View since 2013; it is great place to live. Management team works very hard, and has always made the process easy and great. I fell in love with the exceptional array of features Fairway View offers such as the spacious floor plans, pool and fitness center. As a graduate student, I highly recommend this place; the location to school is very convenient, located maybe two minutes away from the I-10 exit. The community is calm, and neighbors are always pleasant. Management/maintenance team is always looking for ways to improve the beautification of the property!

This is my first apartment and I really didnt know what to expect. Its not a perfect location as far a maintenance and other small things but the staff is amazing. Ive somewhat developed a relationship with the staff and its been really awesome. They allow me to display my art in their office and give College students great opportunities. The area is quiet to just relax (disturbance every once in a while but where will you not find that ).

Considering that the prices are next to nothing compared to everywhere else in Baton Rouge, I would have to say that they have their reasons. I have had problems since day one. Ive dealt with carpet stains, window blinds covered in dust (which has destroyed my allergies), squeaky floors upstairs, the dishwasher flooding my kitchen, the heating fixture in the master bathroom leaking water when it rains heavily, garbage disposal breaking, and to top it all off, my refrigerator and freezer broke, only to catch it in time for them to do a same day replacement with ANOTHER BROKEN REFRIGERATOR! Now I have been out of a fridge for 5 going on 6 days, and they keep telling me Itll be in tomorrow. And I cant seem to get any answers from the leasing office when I speak to someone. Please dont get me started on the two hundred dollars in groceries that Im trying to get reimbursed for to be able to feed myself and wife, and the fact that weve had to eat out every day this week and have been sick to our stomachs because of it. I can promise you that the ONLY good thing about fairway view is that if you havent owned a house, and youve been on the fence about making the decision, they will PUSH you in the right direction! So thank your terrible staff for making us first time home owners! We cant wait for our lease to end. But before you re-lease these apartments in the future, you should get your maintenance and staff to really fix these places up, and reinforce the parking, and get the wrecked and broken down cars out of our vacant parking spaces! Good Amenities and functions, but work orders do not get meet unless you go to the office. The community is gated if you plan to walk somewhere it is hard to get out. Yet the Location is great !!

Some units have issues with rodents.My roommate and I moved into the Fairway View apartment complex in the summer. Three months later I started to notice mice droppings in an upstairs closet. I immediately set my own traps and the next day I notified the front office so that maintenance could come to seal the hole they were coming in. An exterminator stopped by once to reset the traps I bought myself but didn’t catch anything. Maintenance eventually did come to patch the hole, but only after I stood in the office and demanded that someone come and patch it immediately. I waited in the office while someone was called and met them in my unit. I caught a total of eight mice in the time it took for maintenance to address this. It wasn’t until FOUR MONTHS LATER, that my original work order was addressed.Sometime in late February I began to hear noises in the kitchen and walls while I was home alone. I began to suspect that I might have rats entering my apartment. I bought rat and large glue traps. An exterminator visited and notified my roommate and I that there wasn’t much more he could do inside the unit than what we already set. He told us that poison would be set outside and that we were free to contact him if something came up. He did not notify us exactly where in our unit he set traps and he didnt return to check them. Sometime in May I opened the closet of our A/C unit to find a large, decomposing rat in a trap. Also, at this time the noise in our walls was still ongoing.I have never dealt with rodents before and my roommate and I wouldn’t have signed a lease here if this was brought to my attention. Rodents are unsanitary. I understand that they have attempted to address this issue. I also understand that these are older buildings. But at this time I still have rodents making noise in my walls. I only want others to know before signing a lease here.

The staff in the management office seems to be the definition of the words immature and incompetant. I have been a resident since June and I have never had so many issues with a landlord. Often times the water is cut off without prior notice for a few hours, the last time it occurred was today while I was in the shower. I understand sometimes maintenance has to be done on water lines but at least give the residents notice. I brought it to the attention of the staff and I didnt even receive an apology. Last week, they were working on the main gate, so residents leaving were directed to a side gate. Thats not a problem at all. However when I exited the gate, there was a vehicle in front of me. So I patiently waited as anyone would. After 30 seconds the gate closed on my vehicle and left noticeable damage to my car. The gate is supposed to have a sensor and as long as I am waiting, its supposed to remain open. College drive is a busy corridor, which sometimes requires vehicles to remain near the gate while cars ahead are exiting. I brought it to the attention of a staff member and even before I could finish explaining, she told me that they are not responsible. Are you kidding me? The gate they OWN damaged my vehicle. In the same scenario, if I caused damage to the apartment, I would have been fined or not received my deposit after my lease ended. I dont expect much of course, but at least acknowledgement that they are at fault, and some type of measure to rectify the situation. The car is brand new and the only damage to the vehicle is what the gate caused. I was told that I could speak with a manager when she returns from a two week vacation. Well who is running this office? The staff member then explained that I could file an incident report and they would repair the gate but not compensate for the damage. This is ridiculous. Ive never had such a terrible experience with anyone Ive rented from. I believe in taking responsibility and having principles, but apparently the management of this apartment complex doesnt.

I relocated to Baton Rouge from Washington, DC in 2000, and have lived at Fairway View since February 2001. The current management/community team is one of the most customer friendly Ive dealt with over the past 14 years. They remind me of the management team in 2001: always willing to sit down and listen or answer any questions/concerns I have, extremely friendly, and treat me like a valued human being. The maintenance guys are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly as well. My maintenance requests (approximately 8 requests in 14+ years) have been addressed within 7 hours or less. Its rare to find a rental office/maintenance team that focuses so much of their energy on enhancing the living experience of their residents. But this team proves it in both word and deed.

As of today May 30th 2018, I requested for maintenance to come to my condo! When the maintenance guy arrived I noticed that he didnt take off his shoes, knowing Im a new residence & I have new carpet on my flooring! I politely asked him to take off his shoes & he responded that he was already in my place & it doesnt make since to take them off!! He had the nerve to not RESPECT my wishes & probably looked at me as a young resident & that he didnt have to respect what I asked him! I felt very disrespected in my own home, of where I pay $980 rent by myself & this man had NO RESPECT FOR MY WISHES!!! I will make sure that thsy DO NOT SEND this guy to me again!!!

Trust me, you can find a much better apartment somewhere else. The location is great, everything else? Not so much. I’ve lived here for three years, I have maintenance requests from two years ago that were never resolved, the ceiling fan/light in my living room has no plug, still not fixed. Doors falling off my cabinets, still not fixed. Paint peeling in the kitchen, still not fixed. Maintenance requests “mysteriously vanish” all the time and they say, “we don’t see any work orders for your apartment.” AC went out twice last summer, both times they sent maintenance to the wrong apartment and then told me they had no one left to send and to call the next day because the office was closing. Got new downstairs neighbors a month ago, non stop rap music blasting through the floor to the point I can hear every word (even cursing, I have two small children) the reply I get when I complain to the office? “Unless it’s between the hours of 10pm and 7am we can’t do anything.” They don’t care about heir residents. Don’t waste your time.

She was very kind polite she understood my needs and never asked me the same question more than once. I could tell she was actually listening. I didnt feel rushed I felt very comfortable. The way she spoke to me I already felt at home. I can’t wait until my lease is up here. I will now be renewing my lease. Management never signed my lease but kept calling me to sign revised paperwork. If your rent isn’t paid by the first they automatically charge a late fee and it’s not one it’s two they don’t give you a grace period like most apartments. They find any way to get extra money out of you like make u pay extra for trash bags outside your door even if you just sat them there 5mins ago not to mention the dumpsters are far apart and away from certain buildings. Management never want to help. The lights go out for no reason at all every other day. Waste of time.

First & far MOST DO NOT COME AND RENT HERE NOR SHOULD YOU WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY. I was looking for a nice apartment closer to my job, thinking Fairway View would be the best place for me, that wasn’t so. I signed a lease with these people, paid a (PRORATED FEE) for the first months rent; that went to waste. THAT WAS NOT GIVEN BACK TO ME. I was only in the apartment for a total of (5 ) MINUTES. And was told that I could not get the deposit back due to me FORFITTING THE LEASE THAT I SIGNED. But so on, I got the keys to the apartment & upon viewing the apartment it was to my discretion that the apartment was NOT livable for me & was more fit for a College Student whom didn’t know any better. The apartment did not have a CENTRAL air and heating system, only a WALL UNIT. The apartment looked nothing like the photos ONLINE, neither did they look like anything they would show a person for or on a TOUR. The condition of that apartment was HORRIBLE. And also the ceciling light in the living room is only accessible for use through a CORD PLUGGED INTO THE WALL. All I got after returning to the office was a mouth full of lies from the leasing manger. Very very horrible experience at this facility. I will return to this Facility with my LAWYER. Just because I’m young I would have loved if they would have not tired to lie to me & take advantage of me, my time and my deposit towards becoming a resident at their facility. But instead it was another story. Again VERY VERY HORRIBLE FACILITY TO BECOME INVOLVED WITH. NO IM NOT REMOVING ANYTHING, I don’t have an assigned UNIT at your poor, run down facility, AND I AM NOT A RESIDENT AT THIS POOR ESTABLISHMENT, people need to know about y’all FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, as well as those apartments being an UNINHABITABLE PLACE TO LIVE. And they need to know that you all in that leasing office are some RIP OFFS.

NEVER MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!! I promise you ...you will regret it...apartments are nasty...I’ve heard horror stories of rats being infested in peoples apartment...I even had one in mine!!!! They will tow your car...they don’t care if you are a resident...they will find any reason to over charge you!!!!! They will go up on your rent!!!! They will do nothing for you if someone breaks in your car!!!!!!!! They will do nothing if someone steals your tires.....the apartment are not as they seem...that show apartment they show you is nothing compared to what you will be living in!!!! Water leaks are a must for these apartments...if you don’t have a leak you ain’t on fleek!!!! If you don’t have any mold you not in control!!!!! Oh and please don’t think you gonna enjoy your pool in the summer everybody that don’t live here,,,that’s there pool ...you will be paying for outsiders to swim...No one that I know..that lives are has lived here has anything nice to say....oh if you don’t have your rent on the 1st watch out because they will be charging you $75 on the 2nd....I’ve never seen that in my life....You will regret it!!!! The staff is incompetent as far as I am concerned. They never relay messages to each other or the maintenance men. I have been waiting a month PLUS for the hole in my ceiling to be fixed AFTER waiting TWO WEEKS for the leak that caused it to be completely fixed. This is apparently a complex problem since I have been in two different apartments and the same problem has occurred MULTIPLE TIMES. The second you make reference to not paying rent is when you have their attention. The kitchen sinks back up often as well. Would NOT recommend this complex.

Well well where do I start... First in far most the unit that I live in is nothing like the one I viewed. This apartment is dilapidated. The cabinets in the bathrooms are falling apart! Ive had 21 maintence issues in the past 9 months that Ive been living here. I pay for an updated apartment and I still dont see any updates. Please go find you somewhere else to live

Not happy with staff not following through with their promises. Still waiting for all that was promise to us. Was told we have updated unit n everything is old and broken but we paying extra. We was told by staff yesterday to put rent in drop box. My husband went after work yesterday to drop rent in box, there was no box. Now receive email asking about rent due. Get it together its so annoying no one on same page everyone tells us something different frustrating. The apartment they told us was available wasnt available so we had to take anything was told on move in day. Then we were charged a late fee for an amount we werent told to pay when keys was picked up. They forgot to tell us about the money and we had to pay 75 extra although we had no knowledge of it. Just crazy we were now told we must wait 6 months for them to put us in apartment we originally asked for just sad. Their mistakes we have to suffer for. Thanks to apartment for responding to my review with a lie. I was running late after work they close at 7. On may 30th 2018. I was told put rent in dropbox outside. If its gone since 2017 you need to update your staff cause it doesnt make sense. Changing apartments shouldnt take 6 months when the tenant didnt get the apartment they asked for n forced into an apartment they dont want thats more expensive n broken old because all our belongings was packed and in truck outside you left us no choice surprising us on day of move in. Thats a low evil blow. Its 2 months all the perks we were promised was never given. Just constant lies. Regret finding this place. I couldve chosen another place with exact same amenities for less but they lie to us so we stuck here. Just sad. The deposit was given the week b4 move in date. My husband n I was told thats the date it was available so regardless dont give a move in date if the apartment is not available let the tenant know b4 move in date. I searched for apartment I called I chose it, Im the person with the headache when it goes wrong. We here because of your negligence and lies. So first off, I will admit, I have not stayed at many other places before Fairway. However, I have enjoyed my stay for the past few months. Has it been a fairy tail dream, no. Has it been real life? Yes.Here it is:The apartment complex is divided into two sections: phase one and phase two with phase two being the newer more updated residence. I am in a phase one two bedroom townhouse. Im not sure how old the newer complex is, but I have been informed that the older ones are around thirty+ years. Now, Ive mostly stayed in places that are older, so I guess Im more accustomed to places that need a little TLC.So, with that being said, heres a breakdown of my first few days.There was a mix up in the office, and despite a scare, they were able to have me get in on my move in date and were very apologetic about it. That night, a pipe broke/may have already been broken in my bathroom and water leaked into my kitchen. Granted, I had a townhouse so no one else was effected. The emergency maintenance man came within the next hour. Understandably, there was nothing he could do in that moment, but the maintenance crew came out the next day. They attempted to fix it. Their fix wasnt quite the answer, and the leak happened again that night. Roto rooter came the next morning. Problem fixed. It took a few weeks to get the hole patched in the kitchen and re-textured, but it didnt interfere with daily life. It was just a hole over my head while I cooked. There was also an issue with the AC leaking and water on the carpet in the first few days. Called the office, maintenance gentleman came out, tightened the pipe and put a blower in to dry out the carpet.As far as pest go, I do cook and bake often, so I make a strenuous effort to keep everything clean, put away, and sealed up as best I can. I also own a cat, so that might help with any rodent problem, but to be honest, Ive not seen any traces of them. Again, I clean often(wipe down everything in the kitchen at the end of the day and major scrub down once a week), so I havent had a bug problem either.Now, there were a few small things in the apartment that had issues: closet doors not closing well. Attic vent falling down some. I put in an order during the first few days I was there, but I assumed the leaky pipe/kitchen ceiling falling in was more of a priority for everyone. It definitely was for me. So these didnt get addressed. No biggy. Im handy and have my own tools. A few taps of a hammer and things were fixed.Moral of the story here at Fairway: The place is old (at least with phase 1). Stuff happens just like it does in regular life. I personally have had a positive experience with the maintenance staff and office staff, despite the crazy first few days moving in. It takes a lot of people to run a complex of this size. If you need to get something done or have a problem, just be polite, firm, and communicative. If you have to, take the initiative and follow up with matters just as you would with anything else.

The only reason I am giving one star is because I cant leave zero. Seriously the lousiest place you can move to. A/C leaks all over the floor, Ive laid countless mouse traps for months only to find more and more climbing into my pantry eating every bit of food I have. Maintenance is ungodly slow and may or may not fix your problems it really depends on how they are feeling at the time. Will not communicate with you or any other apartment complex should you decide to switch to another and need them to send paperwork. The inside of these places are falling apart. Stray cats are everywhere. Office is rude and not accommodating whatsoever. If youre skeptical and dont believe me please sign a lease here and see for yourself.

Worst decision ever.!!! the management is a joke , maintenance is a joke they do not care about you as a customer they just want to look for reasons to fine you , put in service request they may never get resolved and you call management just so they can put in another ticket for the same thing you already did. very disturbing place to live . Fairway view is the worse place Ive ever lived. In the first 3 months of living here, I called maintance 10 times. Ive had so many issues, small ones especially that took them over a month to fix! My apartment flooded 3 times due to my neighbors bathroom overflowing and twice due to my upstairs neighbors A/C backing up. They poked holes in my ceiling to drain the water, and have yet to come back to fix the ceiling and it has been 2 months. The ceiling is gapping so bad it looks like it will fall in any second. There has been multiple instances where my electricity has gone out at all times of the night, and the office told me multiple times that my problem was not an emergency and that they would send someone as soon as they could. This was happening every single day for 3 weeks straight. They kept telling me they fixed the problem, but would temporarily rig the meter for it to work for a while. I went without a light in my bedroom for over a month because it all of a sudden just stopped working. My A/C & heat was out for days before someone came to look at it as well. The latest issue Ive had is sewage & gas fumes coming up through the drains in the bathroom. I was told nothing can be done about it, until I smell it again, because by the time they got here to fix it, Id been keeping the drains closed so there was no smell at the time. The office staff is very rude and unprofessional, also LAZY ! they will tell you; you have no packages just because they dont want to look. I went to the office 3 times for a package that had been there for 2 weeks and each time they told me it wasnt there yet! Management doesnt do anything unless you literally hound them about a problem. the property is always dirty, and reeks of animal droppings. But the grass is always very well manicured ! I moved here because the location was perfect for everywhere that I needed to be, but if I could go back, I wouldve never moved here ! Please dont waste your time !

Fairway View is a good place to live: all things considered, you get what you pay for. Although the apartments themselves are not very updated, in my experience maintenance has always been very friendly and comes by either the day that I call or the next day. When I saw a single cockroach in my kitchen and freaked out (this happens in any place you will live), the office arranged an appointment with a professional exterminator to come the very next day. Parking is not an issue for visitors as there are lots in between each building while the spaces along the curb in front of the apartments are reserved for residents. They host events with free food (sign me up!) and community events such as door decorating contests. I have lived here for 3 years and my only complaint is the limited counter space in the kitchen, but a tall dining table serves as the rest of my prep space while cooking. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone considering renting a place in an especially great location!

Do you like rats, roaches and other insects . I shouldnt have to elaborate on this much . Besides that being in my apartment both my fiancés vehicle and mine have been broke into and windows smashed 3 times . Waiting for our lease to end so we can move . Theres no security here . They say security 88 makes his rounds but cmon lets face others drive around. My truck was broke into and the guy didnt get there till 2 hours later after Ive already done a police report and the cops were leaving . I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy . Crummy upkeep , thugs everywhere , and bad management . Incredibly bad .

Ok so I woke up this morning and seen a boot on my car!🤔 (A clueless tenant) wondering well why?!! So I go and try to see well maybe I missed a sign (yes) you literally have to put a flash light on it to even see it! ITS BARELY THERE! Had I seen the sign I would have known not to park there until I got my permit!(which at that point I still had no clue of a permit) Anyways, to my surprise they sent out 3 prior emails 2/2/18, 2/5/18 and 2/8/18. The changes began on 2/9! Its now 2/22 you would think by then I should have had my permit! WELL knew nothing of these email since well hey I dont check my email everyday! In my opinion I feel like there shouldve have been other notices given to the tenants like a note on apt door or maybe have had a list with tenants name or apt# where they can sign off on it and any tenants you see that havent came by to get a permit you give them a courtesy call. Friends of mine who live in other apartments complexes receives notes on their door all the time! I get over hundreds of emails a day because my email address is associated with everything! so my notifications are turned off! I work 2 jobs I barely have time to catch a break! You think I have time to go though emails?!! It was my mistake to not check my email daily but I definitely feel like there should have been different notices because everyones situation is different. People dont check emails unless its necessary and since I have work emails I dont pay attention to my personal one. For my first offense $200 was ridiculous! FYI I will not be renewing! Apartments are not for me! I didnt want to be that annoying tenant that you hear complains about everything. Cuz I really wanted to enjoy it here. But, before I lose my sanity I rather move back home! First apartment experience and I have yet to enjoy it!

WORST PLACE IVE EVER LIVED!!!! THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING APARTMENT COMPLEX IN THE CITY! I moved here May 2014 and literally a week later the roof began to leak EVERY TIME it rained. It stained my bed and my covers. Idiotic maintenance tech came and poked a hole in the ceiling and made it even worse. They said they were going to move us in a week which actually took over a month. They move us to another cheaper apartment and 4 days later we witness rat droppings and trash. We caught one rat and the next day, there was another one!!! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

Fairwayview has by far been the most unprofessional, unorganized apartment that I have ever lived in. Management is unorganized and rude. The Staff is also rude and incompetent , they either dont know how to answer questions or dont care to. The sink and toilets always had problems and maintenance always took forever to fix the problems. The apartment has a constant smell of raw sewage. They charge you for any and everything just to make a buck and my neighbors were always loud, allowed their dogs to trash our area with no fines. No matter how matter how many times I tried to contact the manager she was always unavailabe. I will never do business with these people again.

I am writing a review today because I woke up to a notice to vacate for non-payment of rent on the 12th of this month, although I paid my rent & electrical bill which is still coming from Fairway View. The letter said I have a $300 balance, of course knowing there is no way I owe this much, I immediately went to the office. The bookkeeper says they put a note on my door on the 4th notifying me of a violation and fine, which was $100, and because I was late paying the $100 fine (which I WAS NOT notified of) I have a $200 late fee. The violation is for an unauthorized tenant - Supposedly someone has complained several times saying my aunt is Always at my apt. One: Not a single neighbor of mine knows me, or whos on my lease!!! Or that I even have an Aunt!!! On top of that, why would they care???? They wouldnt! My cosigner, whom I had to get a restraining order against is the one complaining bc hes the only one who knows of my aunt, so this complex is taking complaints from Someone who doesnt even live there!! And if this person keeps making complaints that have no grounds or evidence to back them, I could loose my apt which they dont seem to care about!! And they DID NOT notify me of the fine or I would have paid it!!!! When you are charging someone money, there should be a signature required bc anyone can walk by and rip a paper off your door & who knows what other things they could just fine you for!! This is ridiculous and robbery!!! I mean $200 late fee on $100 fine? Thats not even part of my rent!!! I have sought legal consult over this issue and I plan to get my money back but others should beware of the ridiculous things without evidence you can be fined for AND you can be evicted behind non- or late payment of them even if you never received notification of it!!!Also when I went to pay by the deadline this evening, I was there 10 minutes before they were supposed to close, but guess what?? Yep, the office was locked and all employees had already left the office!! Very un-professional.

I lived at Fairway View apartments for several years mostly because the price was decent, proximity to work and I hate moving. Several transitions have taken place in my time there some good but also notably downgrades. I realized you have to be very careful dealing with the staff as competence varies 50/50 based on your luck and when they mislead you, you end up stranded because they maintain their motto that their staff is highly trained and incapable of error. Overall, it was an ok place to live in.When I moved out finally, I had so much going on and after talking to one of the staff about my options, decided to forfeit my deposit as I was told it would be used to cover cleaning expenses for the apartment. A month and a half later, I receive this bill saying I owed a couple hundred dollars not including the deposit already paid and that It will be sent to collections if not paid on time. What I found particularly annoying was that I was charged $100 for apparent removal of 4 bags of trash. Interestingly, my apartment is next to the trash dump. Maybe I should have asked the staff I talked to what the rates for their cleaning services were before I believed them saying my deposit will cover it. I post this review because I think my story may help someone looking to understand how this place is run.

Every time I have a package from Amazon and it states that it has been delivered...the office never has it....last time I was lucky enough for someone to return it (opened) because it was a book...the other times not so much...and just make sure you are handy because maintenance will never get back to you and if they do..instead of fixing the issue they do something temporarily that causes the issue to happen again :)

Trash!!! At least 12 people were robbed at gun point when I stayed there, the fake security guard throws partys in the parking lot and leaves beer bottles every where, the 50 speed bumps you have to drive over damage your car, your car is subject to being towed from in front of your door even with a parking tag, DONT MOVE HERE

Easily the worst apartment I’ve ever stayed in. So if you’re looking to stay in a secure, up to date, and well managed complex I highly recommend you look elsewhere. In the time I’ve stayed here, there has been nothing but issues including unfulfilled maintenance requests, rude staff, and mice.
