Worst dollar General i have ever been to. The shevels are never stocked. The merchandise is just sitting on the carts waiting to be stocked. So unless you want to stock the shevels yourself or dig through the carts to find what you need dont go here.

Everytime i have to go in this store im jist going to start going to walmart (i hate Walmart) that says it all

This place is so nasty and disorganized

I went both on the 27th of January & the 28th of January, yesterday the 27th was not good for me, of course, Im in a place that Im not familiar with yet my drive time alone was almost 45 minutes, tonight at the most 5 minutes, BIG DIFFERENCE, THIS time I used Google, to get there & back, Yesterday, I only used it coming back, Today I used Google, there & back, thats a big Deal For Me (to use Google) for directions even though it made it so much simpler. I just dont like counting on G.P.S., they are not always correct.😁

Out was so busy that I left and went back later. Short staffed lately, and manager has been out.

The isles are always fun of carts with stuff to stock the shelves with which makes it extremely hard to get down them..the worst store by far to have to shop in

I did not dislike this Dollar General. I believe that a lot of improvements have been made to this store. I was pleasantly suprised!!🙂

Cluttered and low on everything. And no half n half. Super frustrating when the employees are smoking 20 minutes after the store opened and theres inventory to stock.

Most filthy business in Batesville, inside & outside! However there has been new management here for about 3 weeks & (Hopefully) things will improve!!!!! I live next door and go across town to Pats store which is ALWAYS clean & organized & the very Most awesome employees always willing to go out of there way to help.

Can never get to the things i need because the aisles are blocked with pallets of stuff.Maybe they should hire someone specificity to come in and put things away instead of making the cashiers try to do it in between customers then maybe people could get to what they need

Worst DG Ive ever been to period

It is overcrowded with merchandise, stock in the isles. On the good side I would give the employees 4 star. It is store management that causes not enough help and overcrowding of stock.

The lady who checked me out two days in a row was super good! She was both friendly and efficient. I got what I needed and was out fairly quick, both days their was only one person checking out customers. Downside, isles are super crowded and customers are practically on top of each other.

Its on the rough side of town but it usually carries the staples I need to grab quickly. It could be cleaner and more organized. But the employees treat customers like family.

Store has plenty of options and the employees are helpful and courteous but the store is well over crowded, many aisles blocked, and not that clean.

Terrible service and very unprofessional staff. Store is very cluttered and items are scattered/stacked everywhere throughout the store. Very hard to maneuver in the store, much less shop. Cleanliness/tidiness is very lacking. The only plus to this store is the location. I love dollar general, but unfortunately I will go out of my way to avoid this store in the future.

Store is very unorganized. Things scattered all over the place. Cant get to some of the isle because its blocked by stock. Store is very filthy. Manager needs to be ashame of her self. She need to shut the store down and get it cleaned up. My family is gonna start going to the one on the East side. Its clean and organized.

This store dont even deserve 1 star. It is horrible and always has been. Well...one time they had a good manager and it wasnt so bad, but it stays cluttered, filthy, hot and you wait in line forever. Good thing we have others around town. Just hate it that this one is the closest for me. I go across town to the others

Ok I’m going to be real with you in this. I’ve been with Dollar General for a year now and I’ve seen people in and out of this store for multiple reasons. We have been trying to get the store picked up and we have got it cleaned multiple times just for it too fall apart. Those saying that it’s understaffed that’s actually at this point in time not the truth. We are currently over staffed and they want us to hire three more people. But district doesn’t want us to go over the hours they give us. We can work until we’re blue in the face but there’s no communication in this store. When they fired Tia it took them almost four months to bring in a new manager and when they did he called out so many times that we were over worked and to the point we could barely focus. The one on the Ac not working that is not true. As of right now the one on West Side works but we don’t control the ac. Corporate does. I’m sorry to everyone that has had a bad experience in this store and I hope that the staff and I can help you in the future. Also if you have a problem with any of us please don’t be afraid to tell us because we will never find out if you don’t.

Every line is blocked at all times you got to move this heavy stuff just to get a simple beverage of your choosing and really its just gross in there it always have the fragrance of armpits and meth

Cheaper prices

Bought earbuds they didnt work. Bought 2 phones. They are nice but expensive by comparison to the ones at Walmart. The ladys behind the counter was rude and seemed put out to help me get the phones out that I chose. However the ladies who had the keys were kind and went to a great deal of time to help me get the ones my girls picked out when the first 2 keys they had didnt work. My overall experience was a mixed up good and bad.

Just picked up one item. I did have a fast checkout!

I only give this three stars for its convenience so that I dont have to go to Walmart. But half the time the air doesnt work and it is extremely hot in there. Some of the cashiers are not friendly, the newest ones are, I just hope they stay that way. It doesnt seem like this store can keep good help or isnt allowed to hire ENOUGH help. Some things are not priced correctly and it is often a big mess. I feel sorry for the people that work there.

Lines are always long- sometimes to the back of the store! After the long wait, or when they open a new line (maybe), they are usually quite pleasant.

I love the prices and being that it is so close to home I shop here a lot. When it comes to customer service the employees lack the ability to help customers find what they are looking for, they almost always have to be found somewhere around the store for a customer to check out, and they are never friendly with their customers.

Im on the fence about this store. Prices are great and employees are as well but the amount of stock in the isle is annoying. I was going to give 3 stars but the employees are trying to get it straight. It has been improving.

Never hire enough workers. They have to stock, as well as checkout, so no one ever at checkout, so you have to wait. Pathways always crowded with boxes, cant get your carts through.they are friendly and helpful.

Dirty, couldnt get down aisles, salespeople had no clue, tons of stuff on floors haphazardly and many dangerous obstacles! Never seen one worse!

Many items werent priced, and the cashier was rude. [ edit. ] new cashier is much more personable.

The place is always a a complete mess. The middle of the isles are always blocked with merchandise and nothing is where its supposed to be, and it takes forever to find what you want, if you can find it at all. Plus the checkout lines take forever.

This place is horrible! The aisles were so crowded with unpacked merchandise I couldnt get through them...much less get a shopping cart through. I went across town to Family Dollar instead. I cant post this without giving a star..but its not worth even the one. It really was that terrible today.

Good prices, good selection of quick need items. Clothes, food items, household items, beauty items, etc.

Not sure if they were remodeling, but I couldnt go down majority of the isles due to piles of stuff.

I felt like I was in danger the whole time I was there!The staff was.. almost completely incompetent, and everything was sitting in piles all over the dirty floor!Welcome to Westside
