I would give this place two stars only because the car I purchased is still great, but I felt cheated after my Sales advisor Othello lied to me and said I could not return my car after I made my purchase and found a different model from them that suited me a day later. I was still within the 3day/300 mile range, so Im not sure why he told me I would have to trade the new vehicle I just purchased in and lose money and then buy the model that I did end up wanting. I dont think he works there anymore either, so Im glad he isnt lying to anymore customers and hopefully you guys do honor you One and Only terms in the future..

I met with Sean Caffee and Yesenia Cruz this past weekend and although the inventory is different due to the challenges we face today they spent the time patiently with me to find a vehicle. Angel Rivera was probably by far the worst sales consultant Ive ever come across. I went to BMW Barrington today to check out for a vehicle that they had on their website, when i arrived he stated that the vehicle was at the body shop getting work done. I then asked if he had any other similar vehicles to the one I was looking for in stock and all he did was shake his head. didnt even offer to take my name or number to see if they can give me a call back when the vehicle is ready. looks like he lost all hope towards the last day of the month to sell a car

I got my 530i at Barrington dealer ship last year. Process of buying was very smooth and pleasant. Last week error safety codes started to appear on my dashboard. I took my car in for service to look at I live 30 miles from the dealership. I ask to wait for the repair which took about 2 hrs. I picked up my car and went for a test drive and the same codes came back. I went back to service desk and said the same problem is happening. I was told that service person checked my car and it appears that everything is fine which according to me it was not. Before going back home I asked for service manager to call me. When I got home I did some research about similar cases from other customers and to my surprise I was able to figured it out what was wrong with my car (photo attached). I talked to service manager who was very apologetic and assured me that the problem will be taken care of. Back to dealership another 30 miles, left my car overnight to be fixed. Picked up my car next day and the issue was steering wheel vibration actuator. My question is why was this problem not detected first time around and why was I told that everything is fine with my car which clearly was not? Maybe Im being over sensitive regarding customer service treatment of your customers because Im in health care industry where attention to detail is critical. I will never send my patient home knowing that there is clearly something wrong only to find out later upon fallow up visit that we misdiagnosed the problem. I do realize that this things do happen but were talking about BMW the ultimate driving machine! I will come back to your dealership in the future because everyone was trying to be very helpful and the issue was taken care of.Regards

Great experience buying a BMW X5 from Motorwerks. My sales person was very informed and able to assist with a custom order from factory. I wanted a PC delivery but had to change last minute to dealership due to my travels. She was able to help with this also and she took care of all my paperwork before I walked in. The whole process took an hour. Also had a very welcoming experience with the sales manager and the finance person. I like this dealership for its services, amenities and convenience. I would definitely recommend. This is I think my 3rd car from them.

We got our BMW X3 today from this showroom. Nice courteous staff. Our sales representative Austin was really nice and courteous. Josh the sales manager was funny. We were out to buy a car and considering the chip shortage, they were transparent with price and we were still able to get a decent deal at this place compared to other BMW dealers. We were travelling from Wisconsin to buy our car. A day before, Austin was really helpful in getting us actual quote via email so we had an idea of how much it will cost. Overall a nice experience.

Pick up and delivery for service appointments is great, but this is not the condition that I would expect a BMW dealership to return my car in. And empty apologies and no real reasonable offer of a resolution was even more of a disappointment. 10 years of mostly good experiences and this is now how they are rewarding loyalty.Update in response to Business response: When this situation occurred, I wanted to make sure that service new about it, took responsibility, and worked toward a reasonable resolution. In my opinion, there was a breakdown in your normally great customer relations. Your disingenuous information in the response insinuated that I did not have my facts straight. The original photos should have been enough for your guys to know the whole story, but I added one further closeup so that you can see the days-old droppings, dust, and water spots that would not be present had the car been washed after sitting in the lot all weekend. And to be fair, I should mention that your Customer Relations Manager has reached out and resolved things.

This is my first luxury car purchase. I got a 2021 bmw 330i. Motorwerks is the place to go. I had the best customer service experience for anything at this place. I’m talkin about even at restaurants, I can’t find people who were so nice. I even brought my kids who were running around and they didn’t say a peep. They even offered them ice cream lol. Agnes was my saleswoman and she was awesome. She made me feel calm and was trying to find me ways to get discounts. She was a straight shooter and broke down the numbers in a clear way with no hidden markups. My cousin recommended this place to me and my uncle has bought 2 bmws from them before. You would be a fool to not buy your car from here. I went to test drive the car beforehand and they just handed me the keys and were like β€œhave fun”. Do yourself a favor and go here, you won’t be disappointed.

This review is simply for my process of buying a used vehicle as I’ve only owned it for 24 hours! I had been looking for a car for 3-4 months and live near a car corridor. I’d test driven many used vehicles and met many salesmen. Each time I left unsatisfied and frustrated when I discovered problems with the test car, which also each time was on empty with no iPass to try it on a highway.Cut to the chase, we found a vehicle online at Barrington that we were very interested in and called and received information on it. Robert the sales rep indicated their inventory moves quickly so I made arrangements to test drive the vehicle the next day. He encouraged me to take it to my mechanic (which I was going to do anyway), gave me the car for 24 hours and had it gassed up with the ability to use the toll roads.The car passed my mechanic with flying colors. They don’t put out what they don’t stand by. Financing was super easy with the initial process online then their work behind the scenes with banks. There was no awkward haggling, little dead time or frustration. I can’t tell my friends and family enough how happy I was with the entire process.For ease of transaction, professionalism of staff, and confidence in their product and service, I recommend them and understand not only why they have repeat customers but also clients who buy cars sight unseen and have them delivered.

Out of state buyer process is pretty seamless. Got everything squared away via phone, email, and text. Trade was fair. They had everything ready to go when I arrived to drop off paperwork and swap the trade-in for my new car. They went above and beyond on numerous fronts - when my car I was trading in got a flat tire couple days before the swap they said no worries and took care of everything (problem solvers). Price is king in my book because money talks, Motor Werks prices their cars to be competitive in the area, so competitive that I drove over from Iowa to get a car. I’d say the Sales Manager, Michael sealed the deal with his excellent customer service, he got me a fair offer on my trade, returned calls quickly, answered every question I had and there were many. It was an altogether great car buying experience from Start to finish, Robert the salesman was a pro and knew all the details, the BMW genius even stayed late to run me through the vehicle. The end result was the purchase of a 2018 X3 but the poor communication and follow through from the staff was very unprofessional. All communication had to be initiated by me. Promises of call backs, emails and actions to be taken were never kept. The frustrating part of this was that if I didnt call to inquiry what the status was, I would assume that every thing was progressing smoothly when in all actuality nothing was being done. Or if there was a problem, no one took the time to contact me. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. The car was purchased because it was the one that our son truly wanted even though there was an effort to steer him to a different BMW Dealership that exemplified outstanding customer service and an appreciation for the business. I would not recommend purchasing from BMW of Barrington to anyone.

I was very pleased with Yesenia and how smooth everything went. In and out in less than an hour. I feel I was treated warmly and never pressured. Of course I choose the worst snow day of the season so far to buy a new car but the 430xi drove like a dream in the bad weather. Of all the Chicagoland BMW dealerships, I highly recommend visiting Barrington BMW. I was beyond satisfied with the service they provided. The staff was very welcoming, professional, and focused on making customers feel comfortable. In particular, I would like to focus my review on the business manager Ryan Durso and client advisor Shreena Isho who made my experience at this BMW dealership unlike any other.Ryan Durso made it evident that his goal was to create a stress-free environment by displaying a transparent price on all the vehicles and assigning a client advisor to each customer. Ryan made an effort to be involved in my scheduled meetings with Shreena and was very considerate. I recently leased a new personalized BMW 5 series at Motor Werks of Barrington. I had originally came in to buy a 540I that I saw online. A wonderful saleswoman named Shreena sat down with my girlfriend and I and went through all the numbers. I was initially discouraged because the car build was slightly outside the numbers I had in mind. Shreena was extremely easy going and took the time to go through all the options to see what would be the perfect fit for me. We ended up doing a custom build and selected all the options I wanted on my BMW, and we discarded the few that added the high premium to the showroom floor car’s price. I now driving the perfect build that hit every option I wanted.I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase and the great service I received from Shreena and the team at BMW of Barrington. This service visit began with a check engine light on my dashboard. I called BoB service and was told it could be any of a couple hundred different things. I have an OBD2 plug, so I installed the Car Scanner app and learned that the gas temperature sensor was malfunctioning. I think that BMW should be able to do this for me remotely before a visit. Armed with this information I confirmed that replacement of the sensor would probably be covered by warranty. Before I could schedule an appointment the security alarm malfunctioned. It turned out that both were indeed covered by warranty, but although this dealer, and Petrillo, has honored the warranty every time, the Customer Service rep never came out and said so. He did offer to replace the accessory battery for $550, a job probably worth $250. He offered a $55 discount for that, which I accepted because failure of that battery in the i3 would disable the car. They also drove a loaner to my house, which I used for the three days while all three parts were replaced, and they provided other high levels of service: a live map showing the driver coming and going, a video showing them checking the tires, brakes, suspension and accessory battery, and seamless scheduling. The car was also cleaner when I got it back. Altogether a positive if expensive experience.
