Most the employees seem decent but the lady with no teeth has a horrid attitude, and seems to talk down to the rest. Is she the manager? If so, I would reconsider..

Nice to run in and grab what you need most of time. Very close to my house. Staff are courteous and when I call for a price they go and check. Thank you staff .

Friendly employees very helpful when asked questions always quick to be cashed out

If you see heather or violet you are in for a treat. These two ladies keep that place running smooth. Hard workers always ready to help anyone who needs it.

Always has boxes and carts lining the aisles which makes it difficult to go down the aisles. Some of the Staff is super friendly, others, not so much.

Assistant manager was at register, was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Go there for birthday party stuff, odds and ends and snacks. Have rarely not had what I was looking for.

Great place to pick up stuff at a lower price than getting it at other stores, down fall is shortage of employees. Would like to see more people there.

Other than it looking like a fire hazard right when you walk in the door having stock all over the floors and everything would not recommend to anyone

It has most of what I need outside of the big grocery stores.

Honestly, not the best of them. Dirty counters and disheveled aisles. The one associate didnt greet or thank. It is easy to find what area you are looking for, but finding what you need is another question. Not the cleanest of the whole area.

The help is always nice and helpful, but they are understaffed so the place always has freight everywhere. I dont know, maybe there is no storage area.

Fairly good selection and even better prices.

There was only one cashier with about 24 people waiting in line to get cashed out. Definitely not the place to go if your in a hurry.

Its ok not the best quality items

Store is a mess and customer ahead of me in line was allowed to take about 10 minutes trying to get money from a debit card because supposedly it didnt work at the atm. They kept on wiping there nose and touching stuff, didnt have a mask on and causing a scene. I put down what I planned on purchasing and walked out

Its good for what and where it is. Staff is typically helpful and polite. I was going to give fewer stars because of location and because of the wackos Ive seen in there, but thats not the stores fault. So for the store, staff and availability/variety of products, I give 5 stars

This DG location has plenty of parking but inside was a mess, stuff on the floor us most isles and it make it look like a mess.

Very polite this is the north end not south end of Barre there total opposites! The staff is friendly, helpful, its clean and well kept on items which are way more choices than south end Dollar General! Jen the manager is great with any problems you may have both of the management is great and friendly offer to help look for things. You dont feel like your not wanted there because staff is rude and snotty like south end DGNikki

Its a Dollar Store. Food prices are certainly more expensive than a traditional grocery store and they know it. The cleaning supplies are about the best bargain in the store. The other items in their store should be deemed as disposable but are priced as priceless. Preying on the poor is never a good way to run a business -- it is an easy way to rake in money. People should ask for a ride to the grocery story.

This store is usually a mess.... Isles are hard to get down because of stock carts but hardly ever anything on the shelves.... It has pretty much been this way ever since it opened.... Cashies trying to do multiple jobs and having to wait or hunt down a cashier to check out.... It is usually the last stop place on the way home, take a gamble as to where what you need is there or have to make s stop at one of the other DG in town....

Staff at this store are very polite, helpful, and reliable. Lindas a great manager.

Its a Dollar General just like any other, and be prepared to be waiting in line even if theres not a lot of shoppers here. I dont know why, but it has always been incredibly slow going through checkout.I give this place 3 stars because it does have plenty of random and discounted products, so usually worth checking out so long as youve got some time to kill.

Usually spend more time in line then looking through the store and usually looks like a group of toddlers got free! Prices are decent though and with one around every corner in my town its always convenient!! Hahaha

I am upset your employees do not enforce the wearing of masks. I will not shop at this store again.

They need more employees to help with keeping the store stocked but other than that always a good experience.

The store was neat, clean and well stocked. The cashier was prompt and helpful. Very pleasant lady.

If you think you can rush in and get your coffee or diet soda without looking around, youre missing out. I like the fact that the store offers free books (cookbooks are my favorite), small toys for that special someone two or four legged. Did I say spices, you are missing out if you are looking for volume and a great deal!

Theres lots of good deals on brand name products. Most generally the staff is knowledgeable with respect to the products they stock. As far as dollar stores go this ones worth going to.

The current post I had written has been deleted. This store , as with the other South end store, has gone to the dump even with new managment.My wife has been going to this store for years and using coupons, and the digital coupons fr the DG website.The male manager and his staff (who are new) just dont get the coupon thing or the digital coupons and have screwed it up every time.Go down the road to another DG and they do it bing, bang, boom. No problem!Not worth the hastle but it is certainly a training issue. Makes them look amaturish😂

They never stock their shelves, parking lot is always trashed, and most times there is only one employee working at a time. I refuse to shop here anymore.

I walked in ans though they had a great selection of items the whole store just felt dirty to me, things were out of place and their were half drank coffee cups sitting around, if your planning on going here just go to dollar tree
