Ordered a diamond anniversary band from Jared’s online. Shipping was fast and we were so excited to have the ring in time for our anniversary only to be let down when we opened the package and discovered that they had sent a ring at least two sizes smaller than what was ordered (order and packing slip show the correct size). When I called customer service they were less than helpful and even went so far as to say that maybe they didn’t have the size I had ordered. Umm...so you toss a completely different size in a box hoping no one will notice?? I’m so disappointed by this purchase and by the way customer service handled it. We will NEVER purchase from Jared again.

We explained what we needed. She couldn’t even get the box open.... I had to open it. And then She tried to untangle a knot in my necklace. She was taking her time managed to get 1 undone and then she got the what I guess was a second knot right tight on the pendant..... she was taking her time until another customer came in the store. And she seems to rush us along. She did clean the pendant after “reminding” her 3+ times. And then tried to sell us a new chain which was nothing like the one that has the knot in it. Had to request to see gold chains instead of sterling silver. She just assumed that’s what we wanted..... when the one the pendent is on is a 15k gold.. and as soon as she sold us the chain she was very pushing on getting us out of the shop.... which I found to be rude... when the customer says have a good night and the sale person doesn’t..... just says it all........ what really says it all is once we got home my amazing boyfriend got it in tangled in about 15 mins with two thumb tacks.... 5mins spent finding the tacks! That lady obviously need more practice. Lmao hope she working tomorrow when we go back tomorrow to return the chain we bought!

Id give 0 stars if it were possible! Terrible customer service and low quality jewelry. They break items and then take over a year to return the items. I have reached out to the CEO several time with absolutely no response. I guess as long as Virginia Drosos is making her 7 figure salary all is well?! Taking advantage of the working class is what this company is all about. The ring is STILL not correct. Amy (the district) manager started to help and then failed to follow through and refused to call me back after I left several messages. This company doesnt care about you, they only care about your money. I would stay clear of this place!

Although I didnt buy anything I was made very welcome by the sales rep, Cyndi. She was knowledgeable about the product and very trustworthy. She displayed information about the products I was interested in, along side also giving me convenient ways to purchase. By no means did I feel pressured nor did I feel as though I was an incovenience of hers and will certainly see her next time I am looking for a gift!

My son bought a promise ring for his gf and spent $1,000 on it. A lot of $ for a young man of 20. Half of the diamond chips in it have already fallen out. I guess at this point shes lucky she still has the main diamond. He bought the warranty, but apparently for another $60, theyll restore it to brand new. Uh huh. NOT IMPRESSED. I would never recommend this jeweler.

Returned a piece of jewelry and they were unable to issue me a refund because they had no cash on hand. They will mail a check in 10 days. What kind of business does not keep cash on hand?

Took my diamond heart necklace to be repaired because the gold split on both sides that holds the chain. Got it back one side was higher than the other. Told them the left side was perfect and needed the right side fixed. After a month of them repairing it they put a new chain holder on it that looked just awful and it was not done correctly as the chain holder moves back and forth. They ruined my necklace.

Manager yelled at employee from across the store to tell her to stop talking to a paying customer who happened to also be a friend. Very inappropriate, unprofessional, and frankly embarrassing as everyone in the store could hear her shout at her.

My boyfriend bought me a promise ring for our anniversary at this Kays in the Bangor Mall and I needed it sized. Were both 18 and I thought a promise ring was a really big deal. I loved it; it was so pretty and I was so excited for it to be ready to pick up. Gave them my size and waited, picked it up a few weeks later and it was gorgeous. Barely 90 days later where they had saudered it to size had broken off. The ring was most definitely not cheap for an 18 year old student on a college budget to be buying for his girlfriend either. I stopped in and told the guy who was helping me when it had been bought and how it had broken already. He told me since we did not purchase the $85 1 year protection plan that the repairs would be about $30 because they only covered their work without a plan purchased for 60 days. I told him I wanted my ring fixed so that was okay. He forced me to pay upfront (which I later found out was wrong) and then asked my size and filled out the yellow receipts and I was on my way. My mom has bought majority of her jewlery at Kays for years and this did not sound right to her. She called and Jason the manager told her whoever had charged me was wrong because they cover their work for 6 months without said purchased plan, and was told to come back the next day to speak to Jason and get my money back for their error. I figured Id go the next day just so they didnt forget about the $30 they owed me come time my ring was ready. Returned the next day (drove 45 minutes to Bangor) waited 20-25 minutes to be helped, and was told they had no money in drawer and to just do it when I picked my ring up. (What store has absolutely no money in their drawer during business hours???) My mom happened to be in Bangor when my ring was ready, picked it up, and got my money back for me (finally). I got the ring when she got home and they had sized it wrong. It was probably around a size 6 when I got it back even though I specifically stated the size of the ring ( a size 9) when I dropped it off. This Kays is hands down the worst Kays I have ever been to and my mother who has dealt through Kays her entire adult life agrees. Awful customer service and poor work was completed all around in my experience here.

I paid extra to have my ring insured, lost my stone, and took it back to be replaced. had awful customer service, was told i have been having my ring checked off every six months to have it sized and not for the stone to be replaced. educated the clerk that i was told it was for the stone to be replaced, and response i got was they fired the clerk that told me that because i was not the only one. was not given any help to fix the situation! none!

The manager Jason is an ass and treats his employees like garbage. I tried calling to speak to an employee in an emergency and he lied to me and said she was not working. Time to get a man as a manager.
