My head hurts from the hair stylist yanking on my hair while combing with a fine tooth comb while it was dry ! i have thick curly hair! Then pulling on my hair while washing after the foils running hair finger threw my hair very ruff ripping threw tangles ! and then combing again while wet just ripping threw my hair with a fine comb again ! I told her I have thick curly hair she just continued. I had asked for full highlights . The whole back of my head is dark just top layer has highlights ! Plus one side has thick high lights other side not matching . A few people have pointed out all this after I had noticed . I was Left under the dryer for 15 min while she did other stuff she burnt off front piece of my hair I Paid 143.00 for this bad experience !!! I called talked to the lady that did my hair asked a few questions and told her I wasn’t happy she said Sorry !!! I will never go back there

Most people would take one look at Walmarts Smart Style Salon and assume the service to be discount like a lot of the items sold in the store. They would be doing themselves a disservice, because this place is Top Notch. The three women working the day I had my 2 foot dread sheared off were friendly, funny, talkative, and professional. I had lost total control of my hair and my hairdresser had to clip, cut, wash, condition, then clip and cut more to get me back to the way I was before I grew my hair out. I recommend this place without hesitation and plan to utilize them for all my future haircuts.

Now that they have decided they will only cut your hair with an appointment, I wont go back. There are many better places for a hair cut. I only went there because of the convenience of not having to make an appointment.

Love this place very friendly people, Lori Smith was my hair stylist, I told her what I was looking for and she did a fantastic job, as a matter of fact I booked my next hair cut with her before I left the salon. Thank you Lori for doing a great job cutting my hair it took me a few haircuts to find just the right person to cut my hair, and that person is you, after being with a stylist for 20 years you know when you find the perfect stylist, thank you Lori.

Great cut great price convenient location

Normally have a good experience here but this brought up some issues.I had a appointment before all this covid 19 stuff hit and I understand businesses had to shut down. But they could have at least given me a call stating they had to cancel. That they could reschedule when theyre permitted to reopen their doors. I got nothing..Id say if you want to keep your customers try to at least offer a good solution instead of leaving them in the dark.

I didnt get the name of my stylist but now I wish that I had. It has been quite some time since I have had anything done with my hair. She listened to what I wanted done and how. She made suggestions about how to get and keep my hair healthy. She did a great job on my perm. I was very satisfied with my hair when I left. Now that my hair has completely dried I am even more thrilled with it. It looks even better than what I was imagining when I went in. Thank you so much!My stylist was a young lady with short red hair, the top part pulled back in a ponytail. I hope that she sees or is told about this review.

Ive been using this salon and Jamie for years. She listens to my concerns, takes care of my curly hair and always manages to cut and style it to perfection!

Very knowledgeable and professional. Although I get the exact same cut everytime I have witnessed the atmosphere and the energy and have never left without a great high and tight and a smile on my face.

Being able to walk in to a salon and get foils for a full head is great. The lady I had was wonderful friendly and did exactly what I asked for. Didnt pressure me to buy more just simply listened. She was very gentle and welcoming. I am very satified with her fixing my blonde highlights and blending them so nicely. I recommend this place. :)

Been going there for years - always request one specific hairdresser - and she takes her time and does a great job every time!

My hair stylist was Crystal with bright red hair. She was really nice but I wasnt very happy when I left. I told her I wanted my browse done and a trim below my shoulder length so I could still put my hair up in a clippy. She took way to much of my browse off and cut my hair way too short. I cant even put my hair up. I even tried telling her that this isnt what I asked for. I said its much shorter. Instead of saying sorry she was like yes you can still put your hair up and tried showing me. So I showed her I couldnt. I should of just went to the mall and spent the extra couple of bucks

I brought my 3 year old son in to have his hair cut. I will never come back here! The hair cut didn’t work out, we weren’t even there ten minutes and they totally left his hair choppy, un even, it was a total mess! And they still charged me full price for the worst experience ever... if I could rate 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your time or money here

Didnt care for my hair dresser .. Messed my hair up and didnt blend my bangs as a hair dresser myself I make sure I take my time but I never cut my own hair but she had me done in 15 min too fast for a good cut

Horrible!!! Very rude and had comments made the hole time about me while I was there. I even showed a picture of what I wanted and didnt get it! Will never again go back. I even expressed I was nervous and that when I get my hair done its always messed up!

Came here about a month ago on a Sunday around lunchtime to get my hair trimmed. There was someone just finishing up when I got there, and then I was the only one getting a haircut the entire 20-30 minutes I was there with 7 employees standing around. It seems like this location has too many people on the clock at the same time because a few of them decided to go out and buy fake eyelashes and put them on while I was sitting there getting my hair trimmed. Additionally, instead of focusing on me, my hairdresser decided to talk to her co-workers. When she did talk to me, it was mostly her pushing products on me to purchase. I understand that theyre trying to market their products, but that shouldnt be the only words coming out of your mouth. Luckily, my haircut was still decent, which is why I gave it 2 stars. The environment was not good though.
