Ms. Davina Chandler has been my tax associate for the last several years and I adore her! She is super helpful, knowledgeable and we get along great! I trust her with filing my taxes and that is very important! I have even referred her to my mom. I would not be an H and R block customer if she was not there.

Eleanor is the BEST!! She is thorough and explains things clearly. This year I uploaded my documents ahead of time and everything was pretty much ready when we got to our appointment!

The staff was extremely nice. My review is based off of the fact I would have gotten $222 dollars more if I would have filed with Turbo Tax online. Plus the guy quoted me wrong over the phone when I initially called. I’m not fond of the fact that my price was dramatically different from what was quoted me on the phone. At the end the lady gave me a small discount because he quoted me wrong, but I still paid more than was quoted to begin with. Like I said they were nice, but I would have rather saved $222.00 and filed them myself.

Top-notch service

We really liked Raad and he was extremely helpful and professional. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helped the process run as smoothly as possible. My only complaint is that the total cost for our tax preparation was much more than we anticipated, and I wish Id known the true cost up front.

I have been going to this office for several years, so no need to change; a major plus is that I really feel Eleanor Greene is very competent at doing my taxes, I trust her a lot and know she has years of experience!

I always file with H&R Block. Its quick and easy, and 100% worry-free. I know that once I file with H&R Block, I wont have to think about my taxes again until next year.

I would not recommend H&R Block to anyone. I went hoping for some tax expertise above and beyond the online form I typically use. It was immediately clear that I was paying $250 for a part time non-CPA “tax preparer” to type my information into the same form I use at home. Fine, lesson learned.Well, the preparer had no idea what to do with a state tax credit I brought and ultimately we wound up pointing at the spot where she needed to enter the information.Then she says we owe $1900 on our federal taxes. I said that’s a mistake. Dismissively, she said “the laws have changed.” Since I knew that’s a mistake, we set to work checking her work, line by line.Ultimately, we found the mistake, where she entered retirement contributions as untaxed income. Yeah, that’s a big mistake! Now we’re getting $1900 BACK.I really considered refusing to pay because her entries should have been accurate to start and imagine if we hadn’t pushed back on her dismissive remark- that’s a $3800 difference! Ultimately our taxes got filed so whatever but I will tell anyone to just do your taxes at home, the forms are easy and have all the same features. You aren’t getting any special expertise here, and you might get a $3800 mistake. If you need to watch like a hawk for them to do the job right, just do it yourself.

This H&R Block ficed my wifes and my 2017 tax return. We had done our taxes at Jackson Hewitt for that return. Our fee to Hewitt was $220. Awesome. And they completely screwed it up. Luckily, my wife and I found H&R Block. Though it did take them some time to unscrew our taxes from that year, they did so and they did it well. Special thanks to our tax specialist Bridget for her long hours and dedication.

Bridgett was great and took time to ensure my complicated taxes were done correctly. They have a good team at this office.

Professional courteous

Taxes are complicated. To itemize? Not to itemize? And, when you are contributing to retirement, an uninformed choice can, especially in the long run, cost and/or lose you money. The tax code alone could possibly stop a speeding semi-rig coming down hill on a highway. The tax code is big and the print is small. For me, having my taxes prepared relieves the annual anxiety of the biggest bill or refund finished! Over with for another 11 months. Having the cloud of confusion evaporate.

I had recently done 4 yrs of back taxes and paid a good amount of money to do them, nearly $400. pretty standard. I went back for my 2015 taxes, filled out everything, was told that my $95 covered the tax return EZ, and that Id have my fees taken from my check. I was then ushered thru a series of electronic signings, all my paperwork in a file and told have a nice day!i got my check only to find out id been charged an extra $60 fees for not having direct deposit, & another called a refund anticipation fee . Thanks a lot! Will never do my taxes there again and should complain to BBB.
