Overview: IF YOU’RE ALRIGHT WITH THE INSPECTION COMPANY BEING BRIBABLE, USE ALLIED INSPECTION.John was extremely responsive when I first called him. He was able to come out and look at the properties on extremely short notice, and I was very happy with his services. It has been almost a month since he came to look at the properties and repeatedly has ignored my calls and texts to obtain the inspection reports (We still dont have them). Im very disappointed with how things turned out.UPDATE: This company (John) takes bribes. It is with a lot of certainty that this company was paid off to say the properties we were purchasing were in good condition. This was in October 2016, so they were still in MD then.Note that, unlike the other negative reviews, the company has not responded, likely due to fear of incriminating themselves. We paid with a credit card and then disputed the charge, but we never heard anything from the company about rescinding our payment. They’re probably just thankful we aren’t suing or filing a complaint with the licensing board.

I had to do inspection twice for different properties and I didnt hesitate to choose Allied Property Inspection Services again for the second property after I had to cancel my offer for the first property. John thoroughly inspected both properties, explained things I should know in a knowledgeable manner and was patient while answering all our questions. He was very professional.

This was a horrible experience and an awful unprofessional company to work with.1. They over charged us by using the square footage of an outhouse as the main house but then charging for the outhouse as well.2. Missed multiple items in the inspection report that we had to call him numerous times to add to the report.3. Wouldnt return calls, finally returned calls to our realtor however not to us (and we are the person paying him).4. Failed to note numerous issues with the property that were noted upon moving in.5. Caused owners to have to file for extensions due to not submitting test results in time.6. Made 3 different rate quotes before quoting his final decision.Overall this was an absolute horrible experience. The owner called him numerous times and never received phone calls back. The owner called and spoke to his assistant who was very rude and had no idea how the pricing for the company worked. The company failed to conduct a thorough inspection and if the owners werent walking with him taking their own notes then items wouldnt have been reported.*EDIT* This edit is extremely delayed since I just noticed the owners reply. The owner stated that they did not perform the inspection however the inspection report shows the same company name and phone number (attached as a photo). Additionally he was originally referred by a realtor who has confirmed it is in fact the same business. Its really concerning that a business would lie about a job that they did and that should be a red flag to any customer!!! I still have the inspection report if any potential customer are interested before giving them money. Finally, if someone truly is impersonating his business, he should probably make this a legal matter.

We originally had a miscommunication but John took full responsibility and fixed it in 5 minutes. He had his Operations director come out personally to do my home inspection and I thought that was pretty dope. He was very detailed and encouraged me following him all around the home. Gave great ideas to for minor fixes and answered all my stupid questions hahhahaha. I think Allied Property Inspection Services do a great job and are true professionals I will recommend them to anyone that asks!I should be receiving my detailed report tonight.

We have been in the business 7+ yrs and this is the best home inspection Co we have come across, from scheduling , from inspections to the reports. they are always on top of their game. They have the demand as far as inspectors and back office NO waiting 4+ days to get a home inspection. If youre looking for great quality inspections , amazing customer service this is the Co for you...Amazing people to work with....

AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! John seemed very reliable through the scheduling process but did not perform anywhere near a thorough inspection of my row home for the price. Several times throughout the process I pointed out areas he should be inspecting including areas of electrical interest that should have been obvious. He opted not to look at the attic because he could not physically enter the space which is standard for a city row house and offered no reduction I price for skipping this area. One area of concern that he verbally noted was the grounding of the house ( his specialty) Two weeks later I had two other electrical companies independently verify that the house grounding was fine. The worst part of this experience was the fact that John promised a written outline of the house inspection with his findings within 72 hours. I called, emailed and texted for two weekes and received no response. Johns lack of any response but prompt cashing of my check proves he is only out to take advantage of unsuspecting homeowners. My hope is other homeowners will see this and save themselves a lot of money and grief.

John Rodrigues is not even licensed as a home inspector in the state of Maryland. I challenge you to come up with any credentials for him. I personally have checked with the DLLR and he has never been licensed with them. Do Not Use His Company.
