Highly recommended, The job Joel did was good and the price was perfect. Here comes the review, I found Clearview auto glass and tinting and let me tell you this place is fantastic. The second I walked in the door they help me out. They had an example of all the different tint that was to be applied. I picked out the one that I wanted and agree to the price. After that the car was immediately taken in where for men started cleaning the windows and applying the film that came out of a computer. They did an excellent job, there was no bubbles or scratched and Im a real perfectionist and believe me when I tell you this job was perfect.I had no problems with the work that was performed. Highly recommended you wont regret it.

Highly recommend this company for glass repairs. Over safelight repair. My car got broken into and the drivers side glass was shattered. I called at 8am, two techs were there at 1130am same day. They were professional and very fast! Cleaned up the glass in my car as well! Cost was about $250 including tax. Could pay with cash or credit card. Wonderful business. Thank you!

The girl at the desk was very rude, my tints had wholes, bubbles, and spaces in them. I brought my car back to get the tints redone I was told it would take 2 hours I came back in 2 and a half hours they were not finished the girl told me 30 more minutes and she was still very rude telling me that. they didn’t finish my tints until another hour and 15 minutes later a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes

I called at 9am on a Tuesday to see if they could help me and by 9:30am I had dropped my car off. I picked up my car at 3:15pm and paid $150 less than a well-known, nationwide company (which made this out-of-pocket expense actually doable). I cannot speak highly enough of everyones communication, responsiveness, professionalism and care...not to mention how quickly it all happened.Additionally, my car window had been smashed so I expected to have to figure out how to clean up the glass myself and was pleasantly surprised when they told me it would be no problem for them to clean it up for me.Thank you Clearview Auto Glass and Repair!!

I made an appointment for 9 am on a Saturday.There was a short wait when I arrived (15mins) but I didnt mind.The process overall took about 2 hours but it was worth it.The price for just my side & back windows was about $180 but the price came with a warranty.They did a great job with my car and I will be returning for the front windshield.

I called and spoke to Judd he was so nice and helpful. Needed a glass for 2 different cars,however he said they didnt have either one of them. He took his time found them ordered them the same day had them in the name day and both cars were ready later that day. I really appreciate Judd and his service because the first 2 places I called just said they didnt have it and ended the call. #ThirdTimesTheCharm

I took my last car here many years ago to be tinted, as was really pleased with the results. I recently had my brand new car tinted here, and am extremely disappointed.First, I was told by two different employees that they would be able to tint the small quarter windows on my car, both over the phone and when I dropped the car off. When I picked it up, they hadn’t been done, because apparently they weren’t able to get in there. I know that this is possible, as other tint shops do it. I wish I would have been notified instead of them completing the work anyway and leaving those undone.I also noticed many deep scratches on the outside of my driver’s side windows. The shop vehemently denied causing them, stating that it was just the tint making me notice it. The car was two days old, and had just left the dealership… I attempted to contact the owner, Lawrence, but he never followed up with me after one conversation, despite his promise to do so. I was simply told that the shop “doesn’t touch the outside of the windows.”I had the scratched windows replaced at the dealership, and brought the car back here (both to give Clearview the benefit of the doubt, and because their are different kinds of tint and I wanted the shades to match.) I watched through the shop door as they used a rag to wipe the outside of my windows, meaning they lied when they said they don’t touch them. It’s likely that metal or glass in the rag they used scratched them the first time.The second tinting turned out ok, but where the tint film stops at the top of my windows is ridiculously uneven - like 1mm from the top of the window at the back, to over 5mm at the front. It’s not up to my standards, and I’m surprised it’s up to theirs. It’s not even like they needed to rush, as I was the only car in the shop at the time.The bottom line - I’ve now had multiple bad experiences here, both with the work and with the poor customer service. No one here seems to take pride in their work or care much about customer concerns. To top it off, not one person here wore a mask at all, even when talking to me indoors.There are other tint shops in the area. You’d be wise to avoid this one.

I took for ever to make this because I work at a dealership 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. I got Busy then I forgot. I got my car done on 08/11/2020. And my car is pretty good it looks just like my back windows. (I have an suv) I think the price was good as well. I recommend this location.

Called them and they gave me a quote over the phone. The quote was over $100 less than another company I called earlier and they were able to get the job done the same day. The other place did not have openings until Tuesday, and that was after checking several locations.Dropped my car off about 10:30 am and was able to pick it up a little after 2. Good work with no hassle. I hope I never have to replace a window again, but if I do I will be back.

Matt and Joey came to my house and removed my windshield and had the other one in within 30 minutes. These guys worked well as a team and even had to troubleshoot an issue with my car that THEY fixed on the fly. The best part is these guys had a smile on their face the whole time and enjoyed what they were doing. I’m a business owner and I wish these guys worked for me. The owner of Clearview gave me an estimate to replace a badly damaged front bucket seat in my 2005 Toyota, Sequoia. He promised to match the leather upholstery and deliver the job by the end of the day. He completed the job ahead of schedule and sent two photos by text of the before and after seat by midday.The leather he used was a perfect match and a better quality than the original manufacturers leather.The seat is so comfortable now. My money was well spent. They also gave me a few tips on cleaning some badly stained seats in other areas of the truck.

The guy who did my headlights has zero business touching a buffer, compounds and polishes. I had a bad feeling when I asked about their process and I didnt get a straight answer, I paid more than $200 to get the tint off and restore the headlights.He showed me a spot and said this is what its gonna look like, so I said great go ahead and do it. 2 hours later my headlights came out really bad, I had to buy new ones. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR HEADLIGHTS.

One word Excellent. I recently bought a Lexus Ls430 that I purchased with tinted windows. When I went to get the Maryland inspection, I was told that none of the side windows or rear window could be tinted below 35% light penetration and unfortunately my windows were 32.8% due to windows already having a slight tint. I was not happy at all having the vehicle fail for such a small percent. I brought my vehicle to Clearview Auto glass Howard st location and the guy behind the counter took such good care of me and even came out to give me a quote to have the tint reinstalled after I have the vehicle re-inspected. The guys took great care to remove the tint without any damage or chemical smells. I would highly recommend Clearview auto glass for their services. Once the car passes inspection, I will definitely be having the vehicle tinted by the folks over at Clearview.Thanks Clearview for setting up the appointment last minute and getting me in and out so quickly

I had a great experience with having my windshield replaced. While setting up the appointment I was told the replacement would be below my deductible so I was able to cancel my insurance claim. Andre called ahead of meeting me at my office. He arrived on time and replaced the windshield within an hour. He was professional, courteous and his workmanship fantastic. This shop is the one I will always go to! I had more then one unfortunate event with my car getting broken into. Clearview has never made me wait. I have always got same day service and quick! They also charge me almost half of what other places have wanted to charge me, they dont even charge to come to you. A great value and great service. I even had a strange event happen where my window just popped out of its track. Took it to them, they fixed it up no charge. They had replaced my window months before this and they still fixed it for free. They stand by their product. If you need a window fixed, these are the right people!

My driver side window was smashed in, called my insurance, who didnt cover the replacement, and they set me up with an appointment with Safe Lite. Quoted me 300 bucks.Searched around and found Clearview suggested in the Baltimore subreddit. They quoted me a better price that same day. Made an appointment a couple days later, dropped it off in the morning and picked it up a few hours later. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to others.

I couldnt find anyone who could help me same day. She told me to bring it on in, and she would make sure I had my window replaced by 5 pm. Customer service was terrible. They tried to pad the labor charges almost a hundred more than I was quoted, and I challenged them on it, and they said the labor charges were in there incorrectly. Okay... fine.Then my husband calls me after he leaves the shop and tells me he was the first one in there at opening. His key was on the finished board at 45 min after, And he still didnt get out of there until 2 hr after he came.... how does that happen? He said the woman behind the counter forgot was more concerned with her lunch and magazines.I try not leave many bad reviews, but we wont be going back. Its a shame too, cause the work aspect of it was timely and good.

Soo i been looking for someone to do my tint since November of last year i came across them and was like let me go check them out so on 3/11/2020 i got 4 of my windows done and when i tell you it didn’t take long it only took about a hour at the most they was so respectful, professional, nice and work fast i couldn’t believe it now my windows look sooo good i fall in love with my car all over again!!!! so now I’m back on 3/12/2020 to get my front window done i say all this to say if you a friend or family member need tint i recommend them thanks you guys!!!!!

I came in and got my 2010 Honda civic coupe tinted @ 20%. My initial experince, i was greeted by an extreamly friendly, and professional staff. They helped me figure out what product was best for me. A few days after getting my windows done, i noticed some flaws with the back windsheild that i could not overlook, they did not hesitate to take care of the issue with no trouble at all. Clean, transparent, honest buisness. I highly recomend taking these guys on for all repairs, replacements, and tints.

HelloI have always been into project cars. I have a 97 mustang and a 1969 mustang coupe. I am very hard on what I do and who I go through with my cars. I normally can do everything myself by when it comes to certain things we sometimes need to look for assistance.I was in desperate need of upholstery and windows for BOTH vehicles!! I searched and searched for the right place where I could get it all done at the same time. From carpet to windows. I found a few places that would only do one or the other!! I wasn’t satisfied with this.I found Clearview Auto glass on Benson Ave in Haltethorpe. I gave them a call and the manager Lawrence answered ALL my questions and even asked ME the right questions in what I was looking for. He stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to make sure I was happy with the information he was giving me. After I told him I needed work done to TWO cars he said he would take them both on and satisfy my needs. I felt comfortable with the confidence he showed. I took both cars to BOTH of his shops. He had BOTH being worked on and I picked them both up at the same times feeling accomplished. They both looked AWESOME!! I couldn’t ask for a better company to take care of my projects. I am now ready to finish them even earlier then I had planned and they will both be ready by this summer to take to car shows. I recently went to Clearview to have tints put on my SUV (I had previous had my sedan tinting a few years ago and they did a great job, so I went back). After a few days of the tint being on I noticed that one of them had some bubble in the middle that werent going down, and the rear window film was coming up some. I took the vehicle back to them and showed them the problem areas and they fixed it (or so we thought). The rear window was fine, but the front with the bubbles had to be fixed twice. it is finally correct and the entire time all of the staff have been very courteous and professional, and have made sure that Im happy with my product. I highly recommend them and will be bringing any of my future vehicles to them for tinting as well.

I brought my car to this establishment on friday 2/21 at 4pm. I was told that since I hadnt shared what type of car it was that I wanted to get service for tint that I would have to drop the car off in the morning. I came back in the morning at 9am on Saturday 2/22 and left via uber to start my day. I called in around 12 noon checking to see if the car was completed, and the staff member stated that my vehicle would be next and the slow up was due to a staff member becoming sick and leaving. I was annoyed, but went along with the service and said I would wait for them to complete. Later on that day around 3pm staff called me and stated that the car would not be able to be serviced because of the process of taking panels of the doors and the master technician left for the day due to being sick. Ultimately this company had my car from 9am to 4pm without tint service taking place and they were not able to compensate me for the several uber rides I had to take due to them having my car for 8 hours.

I had a broken rear window on my 2016 Audi A4 Allroad wagon. Had multiple problems trying to get a replacememt window from the largest national auto glass company. After 2-1/2 weeks of frustration, with the other company failing to obtain the correct window. I called Clearview. Within 34 hours, Iris at Clearview called me to confirm that they had obtained the correct window. I went in 2 days later, and the window was installed to my full satisfaction! I will recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I intend to return there for window tinting.

Our lawn guys kicked up a rock into our back window of our Subaru mid-day Monday which required us to get a repair quickly. We called around 4pm Monday and Clearview said they could be at our house the next morning between 9-12. That was great and I was really happy with the turn around time. Only problem is, no one showed up by 12. We called at 12 and were put on hold only to then be kicked to an answering machine. We finally got in touch with someone who said, oh, they didnt schedule you for a time, only a day, let me call the tech to find out and Ill call you back in 5 minutes. I waited an hour for the call back and still heard nothing. I called again and she acted like she forgot. When she finally got in touch with the tech, he said it would be a couple more hours.Alright, so with scheduling nightmare out of the way, the rest would be a breeze, right? Nope. Dude shows up and starts working but spends most of the time on the phone. Something just seems off. After about 20 minutes on the phone he tells me, and I quote, your car is something we call a mid year model, you have both 2013 and 2014 parts. We have to do more research on what you need and someone will contact you by close of business. I never got a call and I would later find out that was a bogus excuse.I called Safelite after this and they said they could be out first thing in the morning. They showed up on time and when I told them about what the previous company said, he laughed and said it sounded like he just didnt want to do it. Safelite had it fixed within an hour of showing up.Id avoid this company, they are incredibly unprofessional and their prices arent even that much better than Safelite. I think the total I paid was maybe 20 bucks more than what they quoted me at. Clearview Auto Glass and Repair is not worth the hassle!

Overall: slightly pricey, technician was late on a 4-hour time window, poor communication, job was completed quickly once they arrived.Details: I have a 2011 Toyota Carolla (Japan). Cost for replacement at my place in Baltimore City was $249.00. I was given a time window of 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m. The technician showed up at 1:10p.m. with no call ahead despite repeated requests for this. Communication with the shop in general was slow and clunky. The job only took 25 minutes, but I was told, by the technician after replacement, not to drive for 45 minutes. Meh, okay but would not recommend.

Would recommend them to everybody. My front driver side window was broken because someone wanted to steal my handicap placard. Couldnt get an appointment with Safelite until Monday. Called Clearview, Iris was wonderful, my window was fixed within hours. They were professional, economical, and efficient. Would use them again if I have to.
