A great local hardware store. I try to go to this site whenever I can. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It is great for little bits and bobs around the house. And terrific for your mowers needs!!

With Vince and Justin providing outstanding customer service, I experienced same-day storm window AND screen repair. (I’m assuming not everyone should expect this all the time. This is a wonderful old-fashioned hardware store and a great asset to the community.

Neighborhood indepey hardware store. Good especially for small engine repair and minor services. Also strong on lawn and garden and on customer service. Not a good place to buy tools - I once gota socket set that stripped on first use. Worth your business, especially if you dont want to support big corporate hardware chains.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and have stopped by Ayd Hardware several times now. So far, despite its size, they have always stocked what I needed, and in several brands. The people who work there are just the right amount of friendly and helpful without being overbearing or intrusive. I plan to give them my business for a long time.

Ayd Hardware is within walking distance from my house and Ive been a customer for decades. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The inventory is perfect for everyday hardware items and it sure beats making the long trek to a big box store.

I absolutely love this place. Will always go here if in the area. The only downfall is super small parking area, but other than that this place will amaze you. Not only does it have alot in a smaller area but it gives you that old time feeling

This is a great neighborhood hardware store. I have purchased dry ice after hurricanes here, gotten screens fixed, and popped in to get a specific bolt for automotive projects. They are super helpful and a neighborhood asset.

When i first met the owner in the store he appeared top be a customer service guy until he made his sale and sold me a lawn mower that stopped working the same dat. He also serviced another mower that was only good for two uses after leaving the store. I took them back so he could help me figure out the issues and his attitude became extremely nasty, aggressive and very argumentative. He aggressively communicated to me that he doesnt think anything is wrong with the mowers as if i would load up two lawn mowers qnd drive to his store with completely functional mowers. After the way he treated me in that store today I will never spend another dollar there.

That store and the guy working the counter are the old fashioned charm and service that gives a person hope that the human race will one day achieve world peace.

Very friendly and helpful..Searched Everywhere for specific mounting screws with no luck until I called Ayd Hardware..Smaller mom and pop store but they have good selection and very personable!!

This is a family owned Hardware store the way it used to be. I was treated with respect upon entering the store till the end of my transaction. I was helped find all needed items. No issues at all.

Its an amazing little shop. Very friendly owners. Gotta love a place that allows you to buy one screw at a time.

Closed the doors 5 min before closing time...

I dropped off a window screen and storm window to be repaired. I left a 30 dollar deposit. The young girl who wrote the ticket was very helpful. She described in detail the work that was required. Replace the screen, broken glass and replace the seal. I picked up the screen and window and the seal was not replaced and the tension on the screen was not porperly fit. I big dissapointment because they wanted to charge me another 45 dollars to work. Poor workmanship and poor customer services. The owner, directed me to consult with the laborer who completed the task, rather than trying to resolve the issue with me. 75 dollars for a new piece of glass and window screen is not fair market value not even for a small corner general store.

I love this hardware store! It’s like going to Mayberry. We’re having two hedge clippers sharpened for $10 (total!) Better than getting new ones.(I have to shoutout to Jack - great tattoo!)
