At first this review was 5 stars talking about “this is great” but they left me hanging dry during the pandemic. I heard absolutely nothing when my original rep left the company, there was no communication what so ever. Only communication I got was a mass email from the CEO talking about not leaving anyone behind. Yeah right.

I interviewed with a healthcare organization through Insight. Going downtown to meet the recruiter & account manager was a very good interaction. There was no follow up call given to me by either representative of Insight. My assumption was the company went with someone else. How unprofessional is it to not receive a call and I even called & left messages.

Insight global is a shady company. They promise jobs to you. Then when the company that you are interviewing for discriminates against you. Insight global does not have your back. They tell you one thing but when confronted with an attorney they lie to protect their company as well as the company who discriminated against you. I would not recommend this company for employment services. They do not care about those they get jobs. They only care about making money and protecting other companies that provide the jobs they need to survive.

That exceptional professionalism and care did not stop once I was hired. No, the relationship continued six months later, where I am still employed through IG with Fort Meade. I was unfortunately subject to predatory hiring practices as a result of Insight Globals desire to keep me in the dark about what was really going on in the process. They simply rolled the dice on me and gambled with my time and earning potential. Willful ignorance does not count as ignorance, and hopefully this story provides a fair caution.To be fair, everyone was super pleasant-sounding on the phone.Now to the real stuff.Backstory:They told me after I interviewed with a client that they were submitting me an offer. I accepted through IG. IG then said that I accepted an offer with the client, gave me the congratulatory phone call, the works. Then, there was a delay in my start date. They said the delay was due to the public trust clearance process, when in reality, the position hadnt even been approved by the budget, while the public trust process only takes about two weeks. This is something I was unaware of. The position eventually never was approved by the budget in my time working with Insight Global.In my job search, I had two other jobs that paid 10k more, jobs that I specifically turned down so I could have the chance to work with IG and the client and to get a public trust and work in a great area. After the delay in start date, I asked the recruiter straight-forwardly if this offer was a sure thing because I had two other expiring offers on the table. The recruiter told me it was.As a result, this eventually ended in 2+ months of no work and over 10k of lost wages. I probably received about 40-50 emails assuring me that everything was on track (that I still have saved by the way) until one day, out of the blue, where I told my recruiter if it was delayed much more, I might have to start looking for a new position. Thats where he immediately said that position wasnt approved by the budget and immediately transitioned into saying he could help me find something else. Whoah. What were these last 2.5 months? Needless to say, it was the first I had heard of that even being a possibility.Shocking coincidence, though, right? Its almost like they were letting it go as long as possible until I gave THEM the ultimatum, rather than tell me the job wasnt approved by the budget yet.Now, I seriously considered suing them, and was advised by council that it could have very well been a profitable endeavor, but it wasnt worth my time in the end, as I was back on the job hunt and had to focus my efforts elsewhere. Luckily, I found a job paying 15k more within three weeks.Funniest part? This is what they said immediately after telling me the job didnt existThat being said, I know you will need to pursue other options. Please understand this was nothing we could control and tried contacting them daily. I sent your information out this morning to see what other positions are available if there is anything else we can bring to you that would be of interest.The absolute nerve it must take on behalf of any recruiter to string along someone for over two months, then tell them the job doesnt exist yet and wont for some time, and THEN to suggest they were STILL going to be my point of contact for getting me a position.Man, I literally could not have laughed harder. I wish it had been over the phone so they could have heard it.
