To begin with, Cassie was so kind and helpful in setting up my appointment to have my carpets steamed cleaned without chemicals. (I didnt want my cats exposed to them.)The two people, Elden and Yesenia, who came out were efficient, friendly, and they worked very hard. Please thank them for me. I enjoyed trying to say a few words in Spanish to them, but their English was great so they put up with me.I would certainly recommend your company. Lynn Wilkinson

The Company was very fast and professional for fire clean up. Fire clean up gets 5 stars. But the REPAIR / CONSTRUCTION division gets a 0 Stars. Waited 3 weeks after clean up / demo was done and still never received and estimate for repairs. When I contacted the company they seemed only interested in telling me they will do the job. But not in given me the price of the repairs. Which I needed for the insurance. I explained that I was going with the company that has the best price and Reputation. Luckily I worked it out with the insurance. To this day I still dont have a estimate from them. Needles to say dont need them anymore. Great for Fire Demo / Cleanup . Terrible Construction division.

They came on a same day call, which was good. Unfortunately, my elderly mother who did not understand the process, signed off on the paperwork. The workers were rude and they claimed they did stuff that was not done. When my mother disputed, they immediately sent to collections and ignored calls from my brother who was trying to clear up the issues. If you use them please be sure to read paperwork carefully and make sure all work claims were actually completed.

They used a sub contractor very unprofessional. Always late had people that did not speak the language bought his wife to work and she did not speak the language argued and did things that were not appropriate for work when I was not in the house. They were cameras. Poor service. I would never use them again. Office staff were fine. These Hispanics were not professional people I would recommend the company to find professionals.

I experienced a water damage in my new home due to the builder not installing my door correctly. The crew at ServiceMaster of Baltimore were knowledgeable, professional and honest with me as to what was going on and how long it would take to get my home dry. They made a very stressful situation easy for me by dealing directly with my insurance company and providing me all the documentation for my builder. They are the best in the business! Will definitely call them again if I need these types of services!

The ServiceMaster team provided outstanding customer service from start to finish, I was feeling an awful lot of stress and anxiety over my newly remodeled basement flooding and Lauren was very empathetic and reassuring. She answered all of my questions, listened to my concerns and dispatched a team to my home in no time at all. The team arrived and they performed their services exactly how Laruen said they would. ServiceMaster resolved our situation as quickly as possible, and they truly helped to keep the damage as minimal as possible. Antonio and Miguel we extremely knowledgeable and professional. They went above and beyond to perform all that was necessary to restore our basement and leave things clean and dry. I greatly appreciate the folks at ServiceMaster of Baltimore for all they did for us in such a short time!

These guys really came through for me. We had a horrible mold problem in our basement and we had to leave the house and I was so stressed out and everybody in the company was really great at talking me through the process and keeping me in the loop. It has been a pleasure working with them and I will use them in the future for sure.

I worked here for a very short period of time a year or so ago. Kate the office manager was an absolute disaster to work for.. whether it’s yelling at an employee that’s at a hospital with there wife in ECU, threatening to fire him over the phone if he didn’t leave the hospital and show up to work. Or whether It’s the complete lack of compassion for anyone working in the office. The place if run by their entire family so good luck reporting anything to the very nice lady working HR (who is over worked to the max). I was at this location for about three weeks when I started noticing all of this, honestly stuck around for the paycheck for a few months then just left. First time in my professional career ever doing that. I don’t even put this company ran by dirtbags on my resume.

Check your bill. This company will bill for items that do not exist and charge employee rates for after hour work when they show up late and leave early. make sure that the insurance company does not tell them how much your claim is for because they adjust their bill based on how much you are receiving.I am a customer in your database. The bill was reduced from $19k to over $16k because I complained, but it should be $3k-$5k based on other quotes from the industry and the costs associated with the line items that were erroneous. The reduction was only made after a complaint and took a month to receive. The line items on my bill included items that did not exist and work that was not performed. Security cameras and the contractor that did the original work prove that these line items are incorrect. A new bill was produced and it actually increased. I complained and it was reduced back to the original amount, just over $16k.This company is unethical and provided me with a outrageously high bill that is way over par for industry standards and they will not address the line items that charged erroneously.I do not recommend them by the way.

We had part of the ceiling collapse from a roof leak after a period of heavy, continuous rain. They were quick, explained everything (why we needed a manager review if the damage, etc) kept in continuous contact with me (homeowner) and tenants. They were fast, efficient, and cleaned up our damage as well as their equipment and materials. They will be my first call next time something like this happens.Lisa, in particular, was so helpful with providing documentation and pictures for my insurance claim.

ServiceMaster of Baltimore did an amazing job for a large water loss in my home. Everyone I interacted with in the company was professional, accommodating, and responsive. I was so impressed with their work during my water loss I requested we used them for a pack out while my hardwood floors are being refinished. I will be sure to call ServiceMaster of Baltimore for all my mitigation needs in the future.

As an insurance adjuster, Ive had the opportunity to work with ServiceMaster of Baltimore on dozens of occasions. They respond promptly, courteously and professionally to all manner of disasters. Their friendly staff is great at simplifying complex situations and achieving great results.I had the opportunity to see them in action from start to finish when I called them to help my parents with damage from a burst water heater. Their crew arrived within an hour to start extracting and drying the water. Tom was there the same day to help organize packing and storage at the ServiceMaster warehouse. He was able to sit down with my mother and explain the entire process. This small personal touch went a long way into calming her nerves about the whole situation.As promised, their crew returned when they were scheduled to complete the job. All in all, another fantastic job by ServiceMaster of Baltimore.As a customer and as an insurance adjuster, I cant recommend them enough.

My review is not about this companies service, it’s about their business practices. The narrative is that they wasted my time by withholding vital information about their fees.We got flooded on 21 July from a backed up sump pump. When I called, I asked for a free estimate. I was told I would get a call back when an appointment surfaced. When I did receive a call back, 5 days later, I was told that I could have someone come out to give an estimate for the following Wednesday 6 days into the future. This sucks, but I can understand business being slammed with all the recent rain. What sucks is I was not told about a mandatory $200+ visit fee that is so called self-paid.Message to the company. When all my stuff is destroyed, soaked and smelling terrible, don’t wait 5 days to tell me that if I choose to receive an estimate with your company. I stand the chance of losing $ if I don’t select your company to perform the work. I would have never sought your services if I had known this upfront. A reminder of what an estimate is. An estimate is an opportunity for you to earn a client by demonstrating what your scope of work will be and the cost associated with the work. The client takes this proposal and decides if what you offer matches the budget and the intended scope of work. What you did was waste my time. I lost 5 days waiting to find out that you employ one of those “we gonna get paid regardless” policies. If you want to get paid for the trip, file this in your taxes, stop ripping people off who are already in a bad situation!Message to potential clients: Go with small companies that truly know what it is to earn a client. Big companies like this one seems to evolve into rip off companies.

If i could give them 0 stars i would... hired them to put dehumidifiers in my recently flooded basement. They cleaned the walls of my dirt floor basement and then realized the dehumidifier would not fit down the stairs of the basement. So i am expected to pay for the wall cleaning while the water and moisture levels are still the same as before they came.As a microbiologist i know the mold is going to grow since the moisture levels are still just as high.The office worker Lisa was very rude and condescending. Blaming me for the entire situation. I have left a message for the Manager and owner and have heard no response.They are trying to scam people and insurance companies. Do not use them.

In 2015 we had a pipe burst and we went to service master for the water mitigation. They did a good job and we have no lingering issues but some of their equipment did scratch one of the tiles in the doorway of one of our bathrooms.

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. horrible horrible service, the workers are RUDE and do a very rush job. they charge you all this money for services that arent even done & the services they do do arent done correctly. & please dont try to question the work they did bcas they will become very rude and ignorant. save yourself the time, money, and headache & DONT use this company !!!!

Terrible experience with ServiceMaster. I had a fire loss in July 2017 and couldnt get anything done on time with them. The other contractors who fixed the house couldnt get anything done on time because of them either. I actually had to clean up water and debris myself to mitigate damage and had to help the Servicemaster movers move my stuff back into my house because they only sent 2 people. It was so frustrating. In hindsight, I wish I had thrown that salesperson out with his emergency scanner from day one. I definitely made a complaint to State Farm. I hope they remove them from their list of preferred contractors.

In August my sump pump failed. I called USAA and reported it they sent out the preferred vendor, ServiceMaster of Baltimore. Anyone that has USAA knows that to be a preferred vendor with USAA means you are held up to incredibly high standards. I was nothing but impressed with this company. They contacted me promptly, offered to come out the same day to clean up my basement. The tech Antonio was professional and courteous and the ladies in the office that guided me through the entire process to make it as painless as possible. I have referred them to anyone I know that had a fire or water loss at there home and I would use them again if needed.

This is possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. the whole system is set up to scam you and the insurance company. they catch you in a vulnerable situation and put papers in front of you and have you sign them knowing that you are distraught and will do anything to get the problem solved and quickly. a complete and total scam and rip off! I was charged almost 1000.00 for them to virtually do nothing ...and I had to pay out of my pocket as they said the insurance company would not be covering it - which was yet another lie. I implore you to stay away from this deceitful company.
