Mid-Atlantic is awesome! I needed a lot of repairs done for inspection including custom exhaust work, engine mounts, brakes and came here just after 8 on a Tuesday morning. They took it right in and could handle most of the repairs (except new tires). Their prices were great and they even secured my front bumper for no cost - dont know how they did it but they did an awesome job. Chris was great and very communicative throughout the day. All told I had $850 worth of work done, another estimate I had gotten the day before told me it would be twice that for them.

These guys were great! Needed exhaust, suspension and brake work done and thought it would be a couple days but they finished it all in 1 day. Employees were nice & helpful. Explained what was up and what my options were & worked with me to drop off my car after hours. Will update in a month if my car suddenly falls apart, but I dont think it will. Definitely seems like a trustworthy shop.

Fast service, with great prices and staff. Took my car in and was out of there by 0930. Word to the wise though, they do first come first serve rather than appointments, so if you plan to wait, its best to show up at 0745 if you want to be in and out as fast as possible. Highly recommend Mid-Atlantic!

One of the best experiences Ive had with an auto shop! They walked me threw the whole process of replacing my exhaust system. They contacted me during all the work that was done. The Finished product was was far better then I expected. The sound of exhaust was unbelievable. The power from new exhaust is unbelievable! Thank you Mid-Atlantic! Thank u Chris and Randy! Professional and thorough. Have diagnosed my car issues accurately on 2 occasions that other mechanics could not.

Had an exhaust issue which required cutting out rusted section and replacing it. The repair time was less than an hour and cost less than $100. Ive heard good things about them and now I know its all TRUE!👍👍

I cannot speaking highly enough about this place. I was having some starting issue a few months after getting a new battery from a different shop. A friend recommended this place. They diagnosed the problem and told me how to go back to the previous service center to get the issue repaired under warranty. I was not charged anything for the inspection, but Mid-Atlantic Muffler and Brake has gained a life-long customer. 6/5 stars!

This place was genuinely recommended to me with high marks and I read the reviews. So here is my review. First of all I was greeted with a happy good morning. I say that because we all have to wear mask now but I could tell it was sincere. My son had to get some work done on his car and the results were good. This complaint is in regards to an employee named Bill or Billy. The couple of seconds I spoke to him he was very condescending and rude. He talked to me like Im stupid. He kept breathing heavy like he was getting mad. Im not smart wheb it comes to cars. I will not be coming back or recommend this business to anyone. He needs an attitude check and learn how to speak to customers. Any business with an employee like this should be ashamed.

After being burned by another auto shop, Randy and the team at Mid-Atlantic truly saved the day. Fair, honest, speedy and knowledgeable -- Id highly recommend this establishment! Was quoted 700-800 for a muffler/exhaust repair. Mid-Atlantic looked at it and charged $95 as it was a simple piece they could weld/fix. Was in and out in less than 2 hours. Highly recommend!

Great shop! Ive been coming here years for all my car maintenance and have never had a bad experience. If you get an expensive quote to repair/replace your exhaust, do yourself a favor and come here because they can probably repair it for cheaper.

This shop has the most knowledgeable Mechanics Ive ever seen. They tell you honestly what is wrong with your car and how to fix them. Prices are competitive for the market. I think you would be pleasantly surprised at the quality of service this company offers. All my family takes our cars their.

I work for a company about a mile up the street. We own 4 vehicles used for travel and deliveries. Mid-Atlantic is our go to shop when things go wrong (and it happens quite a bit). One recent example: they repaired a cracked hose and replaced a coolant reservoir. Days later the coolant was low. I stopped in, coolant topped off and pressure tested to ensure there wasnt another leak. No payment necessary.

This place is a GOD SEND! After getting quotes from other places, I was unsure about what was really wrong with my car. Then I remember taking my old car here and said to myself, Go there theyll tell you the truth! Due to COVID-19 they have limited hours, so I dropped my car off around 830am, they called at 9 to tell me the diagnosis, I told them go head and fix it, by 10:10 he called and said it was ready!!! Had my rear brakes replaced on Monday. Super professional and thorough. Didn’t try to oversell me on anything I didn’t need. Additionally, my front left bumper had been slightly detached after catching the lip of a curb and they reattached it free of charge! Will be back for future service.

It would be hard to find a more honest and competent mechanic. A small, private shop, using it requires more effort/planning than the corporate or bigger places, as hours are limited to 8 - 5 weekdays and appointments are not accepted. Yet its so worth it! Nice people, fair prices, no worries about being oversold on unneeded repairs.

The staff at Atlantic Muffler and Break on York Road went above and beyond to take care of my vehicle, even though they were super packed with other customers for the day. Super informative throughout every step of the process, cleared the cost of each part of service with me beforehand, and did not try to haggle for additional work. They were honest and only did the work necessary to fix my car, telling me what things could wait to be worked on, without trying to sell me on additional parts and labor, or use scare tactics. They are a company you can trust to take care of you and your car , so dont be fooled by the location of their shop . Everyone I have interacted with at the shop has been extremely knowledgeable, professional, and as prompt as possible while fixing my car. I go out of my way to take my car to this shop, and I would not hesitate to refer it to my friends or family. Definitely an excellent choice for your car repair needs!

Friendly, fast, and very reasonably priced. One muffler shop I called refused to quote me a price on a resonator mid-pipe with for my Subaru, Midas quoted me $360, and this shop (Mid-Atlantic) about $200! The work was done in the time estimated and the man explained to me how using a flex pipe would accomplish the same thing as a spring kit and save me money. When it was all said and done it cost $190 including tax! Im a happy customer!

Fantastic, friendly, extremely reasonabley priced! I drove over a massive pot hole which caused my bottom heat shield to come off. They took me in at the last minute and got me out and on the road within half an hour. Honest guys who know what they are talking about. Im unfortunately out of state, but if i lived around here, these would be my go to guys!

Stop in for alignment. Manager asked me what was going on so i told him. He to they just dont do alignment i would have to have some other work done to because they just go a $30,000 dollar machine and its just not worth it doing JUST DOING AN $80 DOLLAR ALIGNMENT......wow.....if they cant make hundreds of dollars off you its not worth it. Will never get a penny from me or my friends ever!

Replaced my muffler in less than 30 minutes over my lunch break for an incredibly reasonable rate. Very honest people, will definitely go back in the future!

My Hampden mechanic recommended when he was unable to do a welding job on my front axle. Without the weld, the entire job was $1100. Because welding worked, I paid $175. Since then I have been back twice for work. I find them to be priced correctly and have been more than satisfied with work and customer service.

Randy and Chris are the BEST in the business! Hands down (and no i dont work for these guys nor am i related). I moved back to Baltimore after 8 years and needed a new Go-To mechanic... Randy and Chris are it. I had a great mechanic who relied on and trusted, but couldnt see driving 100+ miles to see him. I am very skeptical about who i allow to work on my Lexus RX330, and couldnt be happier with Mid-Atlantic. I recently had Randy change the Timing Belt, etc. on my car which is pretty big/tedious job. Randy was able to get a kit from one of his trusted suppliers that included everything for the job but the Water Pump which he bought separately... long story short.. the water pump blew 900 miles in while i was in North Jersey. Randy worked with me to find a reputable mechanic in the area who would replace the water pump and get me back on the road. Randy warranted and reimbursed me for the Part & Labor expenses 100%. You dont find REPUTABLE guys like Randy and his son Chris often. Dont go anywhere else. If Randy and Chris can do the job, take it to them. They are honest, provide very fair pricing, and will work to answer all of your questions/concerns. Really cant say enough good things about these guys! Ill take the Pepsi Challenge... Read the reviews online and wanted an aftermarket exhaust set up for my Acura RSX. First time around the set up sounded good, a little loud, but then the muffler started acting up and not sounding too hot. For the full stainless system I was charged 150.00 parts and labor. A little later down the road (pun intended) I picked up a new Borla exhaust and tip and the guys came through for me again. The car sounds amazing and they had the new muffler and tip on the car in under 30 minutes. Randy is awesome and will happily talk to you about cars and parts, a true car guy. Chris is all business, not as personable as Randy but a nice guy nonetheless. I HIGHLY recommend Mid-Atlantic Muffler & Brake for any aftermarket exhaust set up or modification, theyre always willing to help and talk you through any questions you may have. Great place!
