Honestly, this place is just ghetto. From maintenance to customer service just not a pleasant experience. They’re rude and try their HARDEST to not act like landlords or provide anything that they are supposed to provide. Would NOT recommend renting through them, please look elsewhere. Good luck.

Communication with Nicole was like pulling hairs. Called multiple times and was never able to actually talk with her. Only text. Took my application almost 2 weeks to be rejected. I feel scammed after submitting W2s, paystubs, bank statements, social security card, and license and paying 2 application fees. Never have I EVER been asked for this much personal information and I am skeptical, hoping my identity isn’t stolen. There was no pre-qualification before sending in any of this information. I was told my husband did not make enough for the rent BUT HE DID! If he didn’t make enough for the house there’s NO WAY in hell I would have gone through such a meticulous and intrusive process. It was clear this was all a ruse to collect fees and personal information. I noticed the house I applied for had been on the market for months despite being quite nice. Beware of this company and watch your credit report/identity if u submit any info!

Grateful to have found Nichole at Pioneer! We were having to uproot from our apartment in less than two weeks. Nichole was responsive, encouraging and so transparent. She is honest and hardworking and its clear that the owner, Bobby takes professionalism very seriously! From maintenance requests to payments, Nichole is truly a shining star! We are so grateful for Pioneer, but most grateful for Nichole! :)

This is by far the worse place I’ve ever rented from. They’re very unprofessional and have bad communication. They absolutely don’t answer their phones and when you leave voicemails they don’t even return your call until days later. I was told I have to pay for a maintenance man to come to my property because they still have to be paid as if it’s my job to pay them. I wouldn’t suggest anyone to rent with them especially if you’re ever going to need anything properly fixed . The worse place I have literally ever rented with .

Zeb nor Dion don’t work there anymore, which is very sad because now it is very difficult to speak to anyone there and the “property manager” is very rude and unprofessional! It’s a nightmare..

They may be nice to actual property owners but they are rude to renters. They send unprofessional emails and are slow to respond when you have a request. They’re terrible. Not even worth it considering the disrespect alone. Go elsewhere.

I am a tenant to Pioneer Enterprises. We have been in the home for a little over a month now and I love it! Two weeks after we moved in, we got a new front door because ours was cracked. We now have a new, safe, and good looking front door. We had an accident, our toilet clogged and overflown. It leaked down into the kitchen, the light fell off, flooding the kitchen. Not even an hour later, Pioneers maintenance man was here to fix it. He installed a new toilet, and a new light fixture in the kitchen. Pioneer makes sure that the tenants are taken care of and get everything they need. If you are a landlord, I would definitely entrust Pioneer with your property. You will have the peace of mind to know that they are taking care of your tenants. This is the best property management firm I have ever rented from and I tell everyone I know!

Pioneer comes highly recommended. These folks go above and beyond to give you piece of mind. I found them at a time when my renter refused to pay rents for 3 months. They took care of everything for me, found great and better qualified renters. I just collect a check. They literally take care of everything and communicate with me in a timely manner. Pioneer has been wonderful in getting tenants into properties quickly and taking care of all the small issues that arise with housing. They also took care of the larger issues and never had a tenant complain. That is the sure sign of a good property manager.

Since moving in the owner, Bobby, has been a huge help. He is always responsive to any issues that may arise and they work with you to get people out when youre available. Overall I have never had any trouble with them and it has been a pleasure to rent with them. I fulfilled my year lease, rented the unit for another year, and spoke with Bobby recently because I am relocating to another part of the state once my current lease ends. So he is on the look out for me when he has property in that area available. Overall 0 complaints and cannot recommend Bobby and Pioneer enough!!

Between Mikes enthusiastic introduction of the house when we first showed interest and put in the application, to Bobbys dedication to ensuring quality work is done in a timely manner, weve overall had a very good experience with Pioneer! In the past 9 months weve been renting with the company, especially in the most recent months, Bobby and his team have shown their dedication to delivering quality service, while maintaining a positive regard to their tenants. Any questions my husband or I have about sending rent payments, wear-and-tear, etc., are answered promptly with a straight-forward, yet approachable, manner. They have recently assigned a new guy named Jahanzeb to manage my property. I’m really surprised to see his working. They did a very nice job screening tenants and getting good ones in the property for us. Once that was done, they vanished, content to collect 10% of the rent and do nothing.They never inspected the property as described in the lease despite collecting their fee for 4+ years. Once we decided to sell the house, our realtor, contractor and everyone else that walked in the home clearly smelled smoke as the tenants had been smoking for years in the property - against the lease terms.I take a little solace in the fact that I have explicitly turned away business from them twice from contacts of mine looking for property management. If you are not in the local area to hold them accountable, then look somewhere else as they will do as little as possible while charging you every month.EDIT TO RESPOND TO THEIR REPLY:Since you posted a dollar amount (which I think is inappropriate on a public form) in an attempt to justify your inaction, lets clarify some things. All of my collections went straight toward my mortgage - so please dont try to paint me as someone super wealthy.Over that same time period, you collected $10,000 for simply forwarding my tenants payments to me. The fact that it was never late is a testament to the tenants, not you.Your monthly statements were never consistently delivered monthly, as I have all of them saved to record and can prove the large gaps between statements.When there was a significant problem with the septic, after calling for almost a month with no action, I finally just contacted a contractor on my own, scheduled the work between the tenant, contractor and myself and got things taken care of. Doesnt that sound like somewhere you should help with? Guess not since after a month I got no response.Your office hours for phone assistance are also very strange...something like 10-12 and 1-3. Very difficult to ever get in touch with someone with those hours.I do agree with you on one thing - that after five years there will be wear and tear. However, wear and tear does not include smoking in violation of the lease. If you had visited the property one time during the five years, which you were supposed to under the terms of the lease, you would have known that.Speaking of not knowing anything, note that they referred to me as Ms. Pearson in their reply. I am a male with a voice like Barry White - shows how much they contacted/interacted with me lol.So, my comments stand. Pay heed to the negative reviews of this company as much of it is in line with my experience. They will get a tenant in the home and process/forward their payment to you. If you expect/need anything beyond this, choose someone else.

We recently used Bobby and Michael to place new tenants and now theyre managing our property. They were able to quickly fix up our house and place tenants. Furthermore, they are very responsive and have a nice attention to detail.

This company has been very good to me and my family. They care and are very understanding when you in a spot. Bobby is such a kind caring individual, truly a generous man.

Horrible customer service. I found this company to be untrustworthy, greedy, incompetent, lazy and to have very low standards compared to previous experiences with other rental companies. I was assured that the rental would be clean before I moved in, but I found rodent dropping in the cabinets, closets, and even in the stove. And when I notified the company they did nothing. There was also a gas leak in the oven which took them over a month to resolve. There were electrical problems, plumbing problems, frozen/busted pipes which I have never experienced while renting from other companies that keep on top of their maintenance. I was forced to report this company twice to the Better Business Bureau, once for failing and refusing to provide adequate authorization to deal with the water company, and another time for returning my security deposit late and short. They did one move out inspection with me there and found no damages, then they did another secret inspection without me there and conveniently managed to find something to deduct from my security deposit. Then after that they wrongfully deduct more from my deposit, but eventually did the right thing and retuned my money. I moved out of the property 11/30/2015, but it took them until the end of March to fully return my security deposit after giving me the run around. I strongly suggest thinking twice before do business with this company. However, if you do rent from this company, make sure you keep detailed records so they cant take advantage of you.

Pioneer Enterprises was Great to me! I stayed in their property for 3 years. Bobby was wonderful and Cheryl was so nice to me. If I didnt buy a home in 2016 I would still be there. I love them!

Its very frustrating having rented from Pioneer for 2 years and 9 months (ending the lease on agreed terms) that $510 would be taken from our security deposit for items that Maryland State law would regard as normal wear and tear. The legal code says A landlord may not keep a tenants security deposit to pay for touch-ups and replacements needed due to normal wear and tear. It was especially upsetting to have an unpaid utilities charge because they didnt wait to see whether the utility was paid. It was. We paid rent every month on time and took care of that home like it was our own. It is insulting that this happened. Im aware of the legal options available but, having moved to Arizona, litigation would be too burdensome rather than moving on.

Any maintenance on the property is handle in a timely and cost effectively; rent is always deposited in a timely manner. As the owner. I have never had to interact with the renters per my request. I have input on who will rent the property. My relationship with Pioneer Enterprises staff is always professional making me feel like family.Pioneer Enterprises has set the standard for property manager’s expectations very high. I have recommended them several times never to be disappointed.

Pioneer found us a place and got us moved in within a week! We were looking to move asap and they made it happen. Mike is awesome, so relatable and easy to talk to. Hes also respectful and makes you feel like youre being well taken care of, instead of ripped off like most rental agencies. Bridgette was always smiling and happy when we came into the office!! Would definitely recommend to any friends looking in the Brooklyn area.

Terrible!!!Run away from this place. They are nice and very helpful, until they take your money. As soon as I signed my lease it was problems. For starters, I was homeless for about two weeks after I got the key because they claim the place was move in ready but, the stove and hot water heater was in such bad condition, it was leaking gas and BGE had to come turn EVERYTHING off. After that, the rest was all downhill.RUN PEOPLE RUN

The entire experience with Pioneer was very professional since the very first day I met with the team (Bobby, Michael and Cheryl - You guys do a great job), they dealt with my needs on a prompt basis and my property was rented within just a couple of weeks of them marketing it, from then on I have had regular updates on the management of the property without any issues.

As a vendor for them I can confirm they are organized prompt and easy to deal with. Simple business is good business.

Ive been using Pioneer Enterprises for more than four years for my row house in Baltimore. They are very responsive to my requests and name repairs in a timely manner.

I experienced really poor responsiveness and lack of response from this company. I contacted them while looking for a property mgr, spent 45 minuteswith a business developer providing details about my needs and discussing their terms, and was told that I’d get a call back with next steps. Nothing. I called several days later and left a message. No return call. Message received - loud and clear. Customers aren’t important. Really disappointing and a wast of time. I finally went with another company.

Very bad...bad....bad experience renting with this company. I needed help with my air conditioning and a very rude man yelled at us and ran from the office without giving us a solution. He had a very bad attitude and disrespectful. I felt offended how they reacted towards us it vas very racist. I hope I don’t have to deal with it again

I can go down the list of things I hated but its not going to do any good by bashing another online. I worked for Bobby and for a good while all was great. Until I was stuck with having to babysit Tanvi, his grown daughter. The homes he does are very nice and up to date with very nice appliances, flooring, etc. The prices are a but high and I know he hates giving back any money once a lease is up. Theres a disrespect that is put towards woman that Im not sure he is aware of but nonetheless he does it and its wrong. If I had to recommend this company it would only be to those who dont take his behavior to heart. Low income families will be treated different. Especially single mothers and those who recieve assistance though the state. Youd be better off taking some time and looking for a private owner in order to rent from a more honest and trustworthy person.

Not a trustworthy company at all. They harass you to hurry and write a good review for them as soon as you are leased the property & before all of the issues flare up. I had to clean my own unit during the move in after being assured it would be done! Property was infested with rodents and bugs and soon covered in mold as a result i had to get rid of a lot of items. Owner refused to take accountability for any of these issues forcing me to do it on my own or contract someone else. The whole structure of the housing unit was found to be unsecure proving there was no sure way to prevent these infestations! Property was broken into and landlord refused to secure it. Shortly after he illegally attempted to terminate the lease Beware! This company is very greedy and slummy!

Stay away from this incompetent, deceitful and creepy management company!!! They could not even get a decent tenant over 2 months period and finally rented our property by signing a lease to a crowd of around 14 people without informing us!!! They robbed our rents too!!! BEWARE!!!! The maintenance people are equally incompetent!!!
