Ive picked up landscaping materials from hardware stores in the past, and plants have died, despite following directions, watering, etc. One thing I love about Sherwoods Forest is that none of my plants have died, but and theres a 2 year warranty on trees and a 1 year warranty on hardy plants. Another thing thats been great in the recent years is that they keep their inventory online, and the you can look up the types of plants. This has been fantastic, because places like Kemper Gardening Center and other websites describe conditions and plants, but finding the type of plants they describe at big box stores is IMPOSSIBLE. I went yesterday to pick up a few specialty trees, and was really impressed with the service and knowledge. The person helping me appeared to be extremely knowledgeable about local conditions, plant strains and how to aspects of gardening... more than Ive ever seen. Needs were exceeded, plant availability was good, and prices were competetive. Ill be going back!

Love this place. So joyful to walk through their beautiful landscape. Bought three trees with help from Jim. All the neighbors comment on them! Getting more MO conservation friendly plants there soon.

I had put in an online search for carnivorous plants in my area and was directed here. Staff is nice, really nice shrubbery, but the house plants are kinda sad and carnivorous plants dont look super great, pretty sad in all honesty. Was very disappointed with the carnivorous options.

Sherwoods Forest boasts a large selection of fairy garden supplies and has many of them set out in its very own large fairy garden which is darling to look at. The kind staff was happy to help me load bags of soil into my vehicle. They also had good selection of pots, although the prices were quite steep compared to other garden centers on the same road.

Awesome service and selection. My wife and I bought a sugar mable. All our questions were answered and all our concerns addressed. Highly recommend this nursery! Will be going back for more plants this coming Spring.

Showed up after calling ahead for a plant. Hung up and drove to the store from Kirkwood. Was informed they had no one to load plant. Bad customer service. Lesson learned - Go next door if you want a better experience

They have everything, but if you are looking at trees, Sherwoods is THE place for trees, period. Ive bought large and small trees and used their installers (for the really big stuff) and have done it myself -- Its always turned out great. Not only a ton of tree variety, but a numerous specimens in each variety to pick from. Incredibly knowledgeable staff on everything they stock. Love this place!

Wow my new tree was installed today, the crew was awesome, they didnt take long at all, cool thing was they made sure tree was perfectly straight, they took thie r time doing that, but digging they did quick! Wow, they were polite and really knew tthier job! Thanks guys! I cant say enough either about the knowledgable staff at the nursery, they knew everything and took the time to explain all the different trees to us, it took us a while to pick out one but they were patient with us, thanks Sherwood forest for a great experience!! We will be back again very soon for more trees and shrubs! I highly recommend them wish I could give a 10!
