Had an interview today and was very nervous seeing as I havent had to do one in 22yrs. Isela Rincon was both very helpful and reassuring during the process. Volt Worlforce Solutions should be thankful to have someone like her on their staff. Id recommend anyone to work for this company if all of the associates or representatives exhibit the professional Isela did today

Isela Rincon worked from her home during the covid-19 shut down obtaining me 3 interviews and 3 job offers within the 1 week that I was unemployed. She went out of her way to call one of the job offers to obtain a higher pay offer. I am a skilled worker and she sold my skills to all 3 job offers. Her insight and knowledge of the companies that were offering me up to 2 different positions allowed me to choose the right company. 60 days later and I was hired as a permanent employee and given a great raise with benefits. I love the company that I work for, my manager, supervisor and co-workers, and my hours. I was only unemployed for 1 week thanks to Iselas persistence, diligence and commitment to getting me hired before other agencies that were contacting me. Great quality companies that you will be introduced to. Learned a lot about being flexible. Had a few change of hearts, but had a valuable learning experience that I will take with me moving forward. Isela Rincon was my recruiter and she did a great job of getting me work right away. Learned a few things that I can take to other jobs, but had to look pretty hard for them because training on the job was limited. You need to make it a point for the companies that Volt introduces you to, to have them train you if you have limited experience in temporary positions. Have to be on the ball.

For myself they were very professional and attentive. I applied and was working soon after for a very reputable company.

Please Don’t waste your time. This place is a joke First, the girl that answer the phone sound like she been hitting that pipe. Please slow down and talk slower. I walked in about 11am for a interview lol there was about 13-17 of us In a room they will call you one by one and it was total bullsh@t. They are very shady. If you don’t have the work to offer just tell tell people there is no work. Don’t have people sitting waiting 2 hours for them to get to the back and you tell tell them there’s no work for you or you have to have warehouse to work at the places. If there are entry level why not give people the work. I wish I could give give them NO STARS.

Hiring process was good but the agency does not give you a full understanding of the job. Basically sugar coating you throughout the whole hiring process, the job was not what I expected.

I went in a few weeks ago just to get declined after waiting a long time. What a joke. They dont help anyone that show an interest in any type of work, whether its for warehouse, general labor, or any jobs along those lines. So you would go in person inside an office and let the people at the office know that youre interested looking in any type of work from any companies in Bakersfield that are hiring. Then you sign in with your name then wait until your name is called. Anyway, its seriously a waste of 1-2 hours depending how many applicants there are because you would get decline almost immediately, due to mostly picky and bigoted type of discrimination. Even if you have met the requirements in terms of qualifications, experience, and education etc. they will still decline you for whatever reason. This employment agency is rude and disrespectful at its finest. I really dont recommend anyone to go to this place. Terrible attitude and not helpful. This is totally unacceptable and feel that Ive been mistreated during my visit here, what a waste of time and energy.

Staff is very unprofessional. I went to their office with my wife and they do not have the professional courtesy to let you know whether or not they actually have work for you. Just a waste of time!

Got hired on and worked One Solid Full week at Ikea and have been working about 1 Month and a Half, so far after my first week I have gotten a total of 2 - 2 1/2 Days for a month Straight. They constantly call everyone off and tell them there is no work. What is the point of hiring multiple people to work for a 20 Billion or Million dollar Company only to screw them on their rent and day to day bills. I cant even feed my kid let alone put gas in my tank to get to the Grapevine . I have never been so let down over a company or temp agency. Thank you Volt & Ikea for Screwing all of the Volt employees who have Lives To live and Mouths to feed. Much appreciated.

I would not recommend this place they discriminate against medical patients

Very unprofessional services! Recruiter took my contact information from my case file from previous employment agency, (that she was employed at and that I had used.) She then text me at almost 10pm, looking for me to forward her contact information to my employer as she was under contract and not allowed to reach out to those leads. A couple weeks later I contacted her and notified her that I had quit that company, (I was hired directly through the company, the agency had placed me at.) I asked her for her discretion and assist with finding another position elsewhere and explained to her that my past employer was under the impression I had found a new employment opportunity, therefore to NOT contact them for a reference as I supplied her with contact information for someone other. However, said recruiter not only contacted my past employer, told him I was in fact unemployed, and even after he asked her for my contact number, being he lost his phone, she told him it was unethical and could not give it to him, but does anyways!! Said employer then contacted me to taunt me, to tell me how childish I was to have left employment without another secure employment lined up. I have never been so humiliated! Recruiter then called me and had no sympathy for the situation.

Completely useless. They said they had positions available so i went in wasting almost an hour and a half applying just to be told theres no positions available.

I still have yet to apply. I call and ask for appplication times and days. They always change. They should have an online application to save us the trouble.

What a bunch of liars and fraud. Went to their job orientation for Nestle Dreyers the other week and have been waiting weeks now to start my work day and still havent heard from these clowns, let alone not even received my paycheck from the job orientation, this is illegal and not right! Shame on this hiring agency for doing this practice, they should get sued for this. I absolutely do not recommend anyone to apply here, they only offer jobs at Nestle Dreyers and Ikea Warehouse, nothing else. If you want a certified or professional job where you meet certain qualifications, then I would apply somewhere else or at least at another Volt branch location. Im sure not all Volt branches arent like this, but this branch here in Bakersfield are. Do not apply here!

The companies that they work for pay really good and they were really fast in finding me a job.

In my personal experience they dont deserve a star at all. I got hired for a 6 week short term medcal job. I loved the place I worked at but the person in charge of the medical jobs at Volt (not gonna say any names) was so rude! First she told me that at the end of the work week all temp employees have to check in with her to give her a personal update on how the job is going. Every time I went to Volt straight after work to check in shed ask me why I was there. When I told her I was only checking in she seemed annoyed & rude about it. She said I dont have to check in every week because Volt gets reports from the employers on us employes every week. The 1st time I didnt check in because I worked late & by the time I got off work the Volt office was closed. I got a nasty call from her on Monday while I was at work for not checking in on Friday!!! She said its in my file that we need to check in. I know we need to hand ib our hours every week but this wasnt about our hours. I was so upset & felt so confused. Do I check in or not? Plus she promised me a job once the one I was doing was complete. But when it was time for me to go to the new job Volt wouldnt release me from the one I was at even thou my work time frame was done! I didnt get the other job that wanted people to hire. Volt said they would find something else for me since I missed out on the that job. Till this day they never keeped their promise. I will never go back to them or recommend them to any one.

Volt has new recruiters often because they dont know how to do their job. They make too many mistakes when it comes to getting paid.
