I called to set up an appointment and the lady who answered the phone(I believe she said her name was Janessa?) was very helpful and got me in quick for an oil change. Great service at a great price! I’ll definitely be back.

Called to try to see if I could be led the right direction to try and get rid of my old transmission that doesnt work anymore and I was just shined off and not even led in the right direction I felt pretty stupid after the call

Great experience, customer service was great. There were some rude customers when I was there but the girl at the counter handled it well.Other than that. Car was fixed properly and feels like new.

They had to replace the intake manifold. The check engine light went off before I came into the shop, so they had to keep the car for a couple days to be able to fully check everything. Now it runs great! Janessa, the receptionist, was very friendly and helpful. I will definately recommend this shop to friends!

Paul is a very helpful and knowledgeable man. He helped us with a lot of questions and concerns about our vehicle. After getting the run around from Nissan it was nice to get straight answers from some one and not lies or miss diagnostics for a company that should be trust worthy. Thank you Paul.

Honest and trustworthy. Front desk could have been better

The technician i spoke with was knowledgeable. The front counter help is severely lacking. Her customer service skills are horrible . She also has no listening skills whatsoever. When i had questions regarding the vehicle i got her life story. I don’t care your BF takes you to work or that you have an old car. Answer yes or no! PS i know you cant get mileage off the car if there is no computer in it.Update. Once we had the car towed from there we found hoses actually cut. The pan was barely pit back on. The battery was swapped out with one that doesn’t hold a charge.Horrible horrible horrible

Excellent shop. Good judgment regarding necessary service. Worked with warranty company and got approval very quickly to get work completed on time.

Friendly awesome service reasonable prices

Very convenient and professional also reasonable with the prices that could of been out of reach. Even given its location is not bad because there are places to eat not too far from there walking distance . Receptionist & other employees greeted me within minutes and didnt leave me standing around looking lost upon arrival.

Been there in the past and had great service in the past that was above and beyond, hence why I went back. There is either new owners or just a new employee that was just awful in the area of customer service, she was more interested in her cell phone than customer service. She rarely took her eyes off her phone and huffed and got almost mad when i asked her can i make an appointment and bring my car back after she told me Id halfto leave my car for 3 days for a leak that i had the gasket kit ready to go for (no longer than an hour job.. Did it already elsewhere were they willing to take my cash money to fix the leak) she almost sat her cell phone down looked at the computer not touching it at all and turned to me and said no rolling here eyes and picking her phone back up. I reverified her answer and she lost my business now and forever and left unhappy. that is not acceptable customer service the customer service is your front line the first and usually last impression and it was not good. Not welcoming, not helpful, not even wanting business, without business the doors close permanently. So changes should be made teach customer service skills or move her out of that seat as she has lost a 250.00 job plus 3 referrals just went to the other shop as well after that. I wouldent send friends or family into there.

Unfortunately Ken and his wife sold this business. I agree with a previous post regarding the unprofessional gal at the front desk.According to the young unintelligent girl at the front desk , the previous owners in her words worked to cheapA transmission oil change now would cost over 200 dollars.Double the cost of the previous owners.

So happy to have found this shop. They seemed honest and took care of my problem. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely go back for any other problems I might have with my car. Dont look anywhere else. I truly believe you wont regret it.

Tess and Ken run a great shop! Ken spent time explaining to me why it would be better and cheaper to have him rebuild my transmission instead of replace it with one bought online like I wanted to do. Im glad I took his advice! He did the work quickly, for a reasonable price, and I got a stronger, better than OEM, rebuilt transmission out of the deal. They also protect the rebuilt transmission with a 2 year warranty. I highly recommend Kern Transmission, they do great work and offer great customer service.

The owner and help in the office are awesome. Listening to the owner on he phone helping possible customers was amazing. He really helped out a customer on the phone and in the end kind of turned down the service just due to the fact the customers beat coarse of action was to go a different route. I would recommend people to come here with all transmission issues or services. The price is very reasonable too.

Cant give 0 stars or I would. Took my truck in to get the transmission repaired. Left with a broken differential. Wasnt broken when I left it with them. Then they wanted another $750. To fix that Wich wasnt broken when dropped off truck. Abe is crooked as hell! DO NOT go here.

Great work. A year after getting my trans rebuilt here it is still going strong and I drive with a lead foot.

Ken is the owner of this shop and I took my F 150 there to have the transmission serviced. He did a really good job fast and it was a good price as well. He answered all my questions I had before ever turning a wrench. I also noticed that he is the only one i actually witnessed doing any of the work internally on the transmissions, so if your transmission needs a repair, you know you are the talking to the guy who is actually going to work on it! wonderful place and a very nice man who really knows his stuff!

Great place to take your vehicle to. the staff were friendly and fast, the owner, Ken was very hands on told me my problem and addressed it right away. sat in the office and had a friendly chat while I waited for my pick-up. definitely recommend this establishment.

This is a family owned business, Ken and his wife are very friendly. They will gladly to address any questions you may have. My car went here for a preventative maintenance, and they did a good job with reasonable price.

Kern Transmission is the best place to go . My transmission went out in my 2005 GMC and they hade it back to me in three day it run grate and it came with a warranty and I am moving in June out of state and if I have anything go wrong they told me to call them and they’ll find someone to fix it in the state I am in . The lady in the office was the best person to talk with it was like talking to a old friend when I pick up my car I think I was in there for thirty minutes just talking . I would recommend Kern Transmission
