I dropped off my company vehicle and they did a multi-point inspection and changed the oil. Everything was fine and the vehicle continues to run fine with no problems.

Paul was great (friendly and curtious). Had to have my car towed there on a Friday. Paul waited 15 minutes after closing for my car to arrive as I was 300 miles away from home and had nowhere to keep my car over the weekend. He gave me several options on transmission repair/replacement. Once we decided on a plan of action he kept me informed as to the progress of the work.

Very knowledgeable owner with friendly staff, after getting the run around from Nissan of bakersfield these guys are honest and were straight to the point. Thank you Paul and staff for your hard work!

They told us our engine mounts were all broken, and need a transmission service, and oil change. So we had them do the servicing and oil change. We had another mechanic do the mounts, of which only 1 was broken. Took it back due to oil leak. Amco told us it was a transmission leak due to the mechanic denting our pan with a jack, Not an oil leak. We had a third party mechanic look at it. It was an oil leak from a bad oil pan gasket. Amco said it was not an oil leak. I dont think they even intend on helping. They just want your money. They were intent on it being a transmission leak. Only problem is, oil is light off color tan, transmission fluid is red. The stains left were dark black on the concrete not red.

Honest place. I towed my car there because it was not starting. They looked at it. Paul called me a few times to keep me up to date, so they keep you informed. When I got the car back it worked but they said that since they did not find a specific issue that was wrong with it, they would not charge me.

Let me just tell you this place is a lifesaver! So basically I had some issues with my car I thought it was just a transmission flush oh boy I was wrong. I was told I had a few other problems that could have eventually broke my car down. The total to fix it was hard for me to swallow I thought I was stuck without a car, until I mentioned my warranty I had purchased thru my car dealership. And let me tell you his name is Paul he is the most generous auto shop employee I have ever ran across, this man went out of his way to get everything and anything I needed to get my car fixed. My car runs like a beauty all thanks to AAMCO trust in them they will take car of you. I am super excited to have a future relationship with them and once again Paul thank you for all your help.

I recently had transmission work done on my 2003 mercury mountaineer at Aamco. Not only was the entire staff extremely helpful, but they didnt play any games. They told me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and went above and beyond to make things affordable. George and Cory were fantastic and I will continue going to them for future work. I highly recommend this shop.

My parents are elderly and they took their car in for a oil change. They talked my 80 year old dad to sign up for credit and once he did they started telling them all these things were wrong with the car. Which they never had any problems with before. The car ran perfectly fine before taking it there. They totally took advantage of them and a $60 dallor oil changed turned into $ 1,600 worth of unnecessary work.

My car was making a rattling noise. I figured it was the transmission. so I took it by AAMCO to get it checked out. They diagnosed the problem as a muffler issue and recommended where to go to get it fixed. And at no charge. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. Id definitely go there for any future car repair needs.

Did a thorough free inspection of my transmission

I have been taking our two vehicles to Aamco on Union Ave. for many years. I have had my brakes done at other shops, but never to level of excellence we received from Aamco. It was like driving a new car! Another shop had misdiagnosed a problem. They told me it would cost $1,300 to repair. Aamco diagnosed the problem correctly and made the repairs for just over $300 dollars. We take our vehicles to this Aamco because of the friendly & professional service we receive. I recommend Aamco on Union Ave. to my friends.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST ...the manager was great. after getting quotes of 6 to 4 thusand dollars to fix our tranny i was not believing it needed to be replaced so i researched it and wanted to start with trouble shooting it...the manager at AMCO listened to me and did exactly what we asked for and from a 6 thousand dollar job to a 228 dollar job...very honest im so pleased....this place is very trustworthy and did a great job ...thank you again

We bought a new/used van from a dealership here in town and everything was supposed to be in new working order. About 3 weeks after driving it we noticed the brakes making a squeaking noise. We called the dealer and they said it was nothing and they had replaced anything that was not in new condition.. We took it to Aamco on Union as we know the owners and trust them. After they looked at it the brakes had never been serviced and the dealer lied. They gave us a great deal and did a great job fixing the breaks. They also went through and told us where we were at with all the other things in the van. Bottom line, I TRUST THESE GUYS at Aamco.

I have given the guys at aamco the benefit of the doubt bringing my car in three times. each time i was given overpriced quotes but did it because george seemed courteous and knowledgeable. stupid me.They basically guess on half the work they do. I have never written a review on here but I dont want anyone else to go through this.

Charged Me For A Bunch of Stuff I Found Out Didnt Need To Be Replaced From multiple Mechanics.. Also Replaced An Axle That Needed To Be Replaced A Month Later Due To Lousy Work.. Thier Work Is Lousy And Wouldnt Recommend It To Anyone!!

DO NOT COME HERE. I came for an AC issue. The guy that helps you thinks he knows everything. HE DOES NOT. Charge over $200 for an AC issue. It still not working & they cannot do nothing about it. Worthless!!!
