Ive been with JH for the last 3 years & I normally pay around $400 to file head of household & only claim myself & my son (no itemizing). My info was already in their system & this year (after she took 10 minutes to do my taxes & give me the amount Ill receive), they tried to charge me $615 to do my taxes. Nothing changed, it just seems that the more Im getting back, the more they charge. I told them to put my taxes on hold & waited until March for the specials they run. It was worth it to hold out.

Last year I paid 280 to file (this was with the rapid refund return. This year.... With one w2 and one dependant, they tried to charge me $595 to file a basic return. No school loans or first home, nothing special about filing, and they wanted near 600??? LOL.... Find a different place. What a rip off. Turbotax got me the same number and go free.

The PCA that I worked with was wonderful. Very patient, organized, and had a great personality.She stayed focused and refered to her boss as needed which brought great reassurance to me.Very please with her taking great caution to amend my taxes.

Simone was amazing!! She explained everything in deep detail so I wasn’t confused or wasnt unsure of what I was doing. Highly recommend !

The tax preparer spent more time assisting another customer that she messed up on with their raxes than getting ours done. What should have taken 20 minutes ended up being painful 1 hour.
