Went to get oil change, wiper blades, and new air filter.While they had truck up they had found the sway bar gasket were needed as well. Joes auto walked me out and gave me visual of what they found and I really liked that. I am very satisfied with the work they did and highly recommended them.

My car failed emissions 3 times after I changed a few things which didnt resolve the issue I took it into Joes Auto. I have to say Im really disappointed in this place they never offered me a ride home after leaving my car before all day, and check engine light came on a week after I fixed $300 to get it repaired so I feel like the job I paid originally just didnt get the quality of work I expect it out of them. I Im taking my car to the dealership even though I have to pay a little bit more money and screw the warranty that they offered me I dont have time to leave my car there all day for the second time or third time. My time is very Priceless to.

Beware. Did not fix the issue, check engine light came back on a few months later,went to another garage same issues had to replace the part again. Joes refused a refund even when we showed him the parts they were suppose to have change looked like they never were.There answer was we were suppose to being it back to them. So we are out almost 700.00 and old parts they never changed.

In january was told i needed about $1000 worth of work including a new battery. I had just bought a new battery previous to taking it in and when we tested the old one it was perfect. so then for the remaining $700+ of work i needed they recommended a 3rd party loan company and the guy said it had 0 interest. i guess in the terms and conditions (most ppl don’t read the fine print which was my mistake) it’s a full year contract so now i’m paying 3x as much. on top of that my car broke down and i needed a new engine 2 months later on a 2016 car with like 60,000 miles. they’re shady w prices who knows if i even needed $700+ of work done they take advantage if you don’t know about cars

Great place to take your vehicle!! The service was great and they were super friendly. There are a lot of options for places to take your car. This is definitely a place I will come back to and recommend to my family and friends. Weve recently moved here from Hawaii and he was kind enough to give us some pointers on car maintenance in the desert.

I found a Groupon for an A/C tune-up to this place and it was great! Jake was very nice and professional and communicated to me very clearly when I ended up needing a hose to be replaced. Came this morning to pick it up and although they were late to open due to another employee, Jake showed up on his day off to let everyone in.

AMAZING SERVICE - I have been here for several months and was in need of an Oil change. I called over to Joes they let me know what I needed to do to get my Oil changed during this crazy COVID -19 Pandemic. They made the process easy and answered questions professionally and even let me know of something they saw while doing a visual inspection so I new what needed to be done. I had been told by a previous Auto shop that I needed about $700 - $850 worth of work done. Jacob was able to educate me about what was really wrong without being pushy like most Auto places. Being a female and from out of state they could have taken complete advantage of the situation if they wanted to Im sure. I came to Joe’s auto for the first time about a year ago and have got my oil changes here since. The staff truly does what is in my interest and are so fast and efficient great quality work and I never feel like they are trying to hustle me!!! Unfortunately, I have to change my review. Customer service is great (that’s why they get two stars) but I have zero trust in the work anymore. I’ve only ever had my transmission serviced at this Location (nowhere else for any transmission work, and I haven’t needed any engine work). I’ve also gotten a couple oil changes here. The first time I had my transmission fluid done, they failed to cover the injection port correctly. I found that out because the next time I went in 20k miles later for the second recommended transmission fluid replacement, they told me there was dirt in the port and they weren’t responsible for any damage to my vehicle. Not only that, when I got my oil changed they didn’t tighten the filter enough. I have oil on my driveway now. I was able to remove the filter easily with one hand and had to put a new one on myself as I can’t trust this location any more

My husband and I bring our vehicles here for regular maintenance as well as major repairs! Hands down GREAT experience every time. Friendly, honest, knowledgeable and just plain great communication. I leave happy with ALL my questions answered. You won’t be disappointed!

I was putting gas one evening and heard a hissing noise from my engine,great what now,I popped open the hood and sure enough my radiator had the smallest hole near the connection hose and was spewing fluid out, I went crazy looking for mechanics that were open mid-evening, and everybody including Joes Auto had vehicles being attended to at the time and none of them were willing to get me in and out that day, I got a hold of Joes Auto and explained my situation to them and they told me to purchase the radiator and they can get me in and out right before closing time, sure enough I went on a mission got my radiator and flew over to Joes Auto in Avondale and the guys were great, they did everything in their power to help me out no excuses, long story short they got me in and out of there before closing time and did an above par job, those guys had great customer service, and were willing to help me out in any fashion I desired, I highly recommend anybody to go see Joes Auto in any automotive crisis these dudes are top-notch some of the best mechanics I have dealt with in a long time, I would rate Joes Auto of Avondale 10 Stars if I could!!!

They exceeded our exceptions on a basic oil change, so we tried them out for estimates on mechanical repairs. They were quick to help us and very knowledgeable on the solutions, so we tried them out on repairs. Repairs were done in a timely manner and at a fair price. Jake and the guys (specifically Trent, who worked on the car) are great! I just purchased an old Infiniti and the power seat motor wasnt working, they looked at it and got it working right away. Beyond that, they are pragmatic, focused on making sure cars run and operate, rather than the nickel and dime approach. Highly recommend them.

My fianceé and I bring our 2016 dodge here for either a simple oil change or for the thermostat that has went bad recently. I went into the shop and jake was very thorough about pricing, and got right to it . Today I brought the dart in because I smelled fuel and so i explained to Jake and right when we went outside he smelled gas right away and knew what we had to do.[ UPDATE ]After about a week with my fuel pump Ive had 0 issues with the gas smell and with my car starting funky in the mornings so with that said and the price that was given to me, I will not go anywhere else because Jake and his crew takes care of the customer and vehicle the way that the customer and vehicle should be taken care of.

My father brought his truck in today to have freon added. Without calling to let him know, additional repairs were made to his truck. He was initially quoted $40 plus tax but when he picked up his vehicle, he was told that with the [unauthorized] repairs they made, it would be $198! My father is an older man, living off of his Veterans benefits and has a very strick budget. It would have been nice to have had someone call to confirm that these repairs were something he would want to do before they went ahead a made that decision for themselves. The elderly are often targets for these kinds of things and it is incredibly sad.

This place will overcharge you out the nose if its a job they arent in the mood to do. They wanted to charge over a thousand dollars for a job they claimed would be 5 hours. But Ive had it done in 3, for half the price too.

Looked this place up on Google and I must say from the minute I called to the minute I dropped off the car the professionalism was at its utmost on all levels and being New to the area I must say it was refreshing. A highly recommended this place for service.

Took my car here due to the ac getting warm here and there. They have an ac special for 39.99 which I thought was a great deal. Long story short....I was told compresser could be going bad. Left with ac blowing hot and only getting cold while stopped which it wasnt doing before. Took my car to another shop and it was fixed.

I had an oil change & was given a list of repairs I needed that they found while filling/ checking fluids. When I asked how much it would cost I was told $5000. I then took it to a mechanic shop my Grandpa uses & they said they would look @ the list. (1) Tune Up(A) which includes Oil Filter that they did the same day I was there for oil change (2) Spark Plugs & Coil Packs (B)which had been already replaced just 2 months before when I bought the car (3)Air Filter (C) Also replaced @ same time 2 months before They charge $481 for a tune upRadiator Leaking Fluid (4) $50 for a pressure test to check if the hose was leaking or the radiator needed replacement. (A) As soon as my Grandpas mechanic looked @ the radiator hose (1) It was brand new w/ sticker still on it was not dirty what so ever & w/out having to do a pressure test (2) The clamp holding the radiator hose had slipped back so the hose wasnt clamped onto the tube where the radiator hose connects so yes it was leaking but also it was nothing that needed replacing just tightened up & didnt leak @ all after that.There were 3 other parts that needed replaced on the list as well but none of them ended up needing to be done either. Im so thankful I didnt just believe them & had it checked by a mechanic I absolutely know I can trust.Definitely women & men who dont know about cars should not go there by themselves or if you do dont have them do any of their recommends repairs until you have a chance to have someone else look @ it 1st.

Really disappointed in this Avondale location. I have been their customer since I moved to Phoenix, 2005. I first use to go to the one on 43ave and union hills, also been to Chandler. For last 9 years I have gone to Avondale location, but now it seems like management has changed. You need appointment to get your car repair and its 3 to 4 days out, but the website says same day service. New manager is terrible. Well time to find a new mechanic.

Charged $135 to diagnose but didnt even diagnose the car. Said they didnt know? Isnt that their job. Dont go here.

They were nice enough, but oil is a very important part of an oil change. They sent my car out 2 quarts low. I had to fill it after the oil change, but havent had to add any oil since we put the 2 quarts in.

This is our go to shop.......they always do good work and they provide a huge warranty.

This place is the worst I’ve been to. I set an appointment losing Money to be late for work, and second time when I get there they do not have me in the system. And then The guy was rude as hell !

Went to this Avondale location a couple months ago to have my breaks checked on my truck. my terrible experience was that the mechanic left all wheel nuts loose on one rear tire. really? it was making a metal noise while driving. l checked the tire when l got home and l called them to tell them about the big mistake the machanic had done. They just told me to bring the truck to the shop so they can torque the wheel nuts. l had to do it myself obviously. guys pay attention to the work you do.
