It’s been a pleasant experience living here so far. Maintenance responds very quick. Renovated apartments look pretty much the same as the pictures except there’s carpet. Big negative is there isn’t enough parking for the amount of cars parking here.

The management at this apartment and everyone that works in the office are amazing. They treat you with respect and make you feel very welcomed. These girls especially Sharon have gone above and beyond for me as I was facing a difficult time. I have also made wonderful friends here. Thanks Crystal springs!

I HATE leaving reviews but we had so many problems with this place. Our entire year experience was HORRIBLE. I had many friends ask me if I would recommend this place and I I told them NO. You can ask their manager cause I’m sure they record their calls I asked them how they could consider themselves a higher end area when my apartment in Phoenix was so much nicer. Before even moving in the place was covered in ants and there was a wasps nest every once in a while WE always took care of. There were cabinets off their hinges, the refrigerator door was loose, the metal towel racks in both restrooms were broken along with the water knob, as soon as we moved in the all the lights in the bathroom went out, the toilet in the guest area was completely falling apart black residue from inside the tank filled the bowl which looked disgusting we tried fixing it ourselves after they said they couldn’t do anything and it was just bad. We didn’t have many people coming over but when people did it was embarrassing to let them even go in. When it rained all of the water that came in damaged a lot of our personal belongings to which their response was NOTHING. They try to fine you for the most insignificant reasons when they can’t even fix one cabinet door. We heard neighbors complain all the time about how they sent notices for no reason but never fixed anything. We had friends who also lived here who said they had a very similar experience and therefore weren’t renewing as well. Just that rain and bathroom situation and how they handled it was enough for me. Even if we hadn’t bought our house when we did I would have rather go anywhere else than stayed there.

Lived here for 6 years and love it!! The staff is very professional and helpful. The grounds are well kept and the amenities are great. Gated control entry and covered assigned parking.

Stay far away. I signed my lease a couple month ago and regret it so bad. I wish I wouldve moved to the ones next door and paid the extra 150. I am not getting what I am paying for. All kinds of fees are added every month, my packages have been stolen and when I call to speak to the office they are dismissive and act like they dont care. We have no control over the packages and tell you to call the courier or the parcel company. They never want to help. They dont care. They are rude when you call. The only one that is nice is Tiana. AC has broken twice. Ive been here two months. I am told I need to stop running it so low. Its my ac. I pay the bill I should be able to run it how I like. I complained and they will not take accountability and fix anything. Just rude people. Make sure to drive all the way into the apartments too. They are so ran down. They are not luxury apartments. I promise you.

I want to live here. I drove by; one look and I am in love 💘 I hope I can get a place here when my lease is up.

I think there are improvements that can be made around communication, such as a welcome email with helpful and critical move in information. I signed 2 months in advance, and there wasnt much communication until the day I moved in, for me that is really late and stressful.I have gotten communication around the repairs needed so thats promising as well. Hoping I can update it to a 5 star soon!I moved in yesterday and its been a horrible experience so far. I signed my lease back in March and paid a $1200 deposit. I get to the office to pick up my keys and they tell me I need to pay my move in costs, which included a second $1200 deposit...I pull up the online portal to pay, they stop me and say it has to be via cashiers check or money order. So I have to leave and find somewhere close to get a money order. This wasnt stated to me and isnt in any written documentation I received. Its clearly at the discretion of whomever youre working with.I get to my apartment and all of the burners on the stove are broken, nasty, and used looking. Our dryer door wont close, and none of the internet jacks work in the unit. Since I work from home and my children do online schooling we are up a river without a paddle until cox can come sometime on Monday.The front office gave me the wrong parking spot number, so my neighbor whom Ive never met called a tow truck on me because I was mistakenly parked in their spot.Im trying to be positive because Im stuck in a year lease, but I feel like Ive made the biggest mistake of my life moving here. Im so sad because I was so excited about this place. I hope it gets better.

I havent moved in yet but I have to brag on the customer service Teona has provided me throughout the entire process. She also remembered me from last year when I did want to rent! She is one of the reasons I have no hesitation moving in. Anytime I call I ask for Teona because I know she is professional, fair and kind. She seems to care about her tenants. Thank you for making sure this transition was easy!

I absolutely love my apartment. I moved in tow month ago after relocating from out of state and the staff has been so helpful. The office girls walked me through the whole process and were so sweet to me. When I called in a maintenance issue the guys came the very next morning. Great place to live!

My Wife and I love the complex. We have a 5 month old and its such a nice and quiet complex. Our move in was a breeze. Thank you to tiana for being so sweet even being under pressure. Our walk through was amazing .

The team made my move-in a breeze, answered any & all of my questions & were very helpful. My apartment is BEAUTIFUL, the walk through was quick & accurate & the maintenance team is quick & very nice. I’d give this apartment complex more than 5 stars if I could.

I just moved my family in two weeks ago from out of state and the Tiana and staff were very helpful, polite, and very accommodating to all my needs and very thorough. They answered all my questions and explained all fees and what I will be charged for. My family is happy my apt. was done very well all new appliances. I will return once it is time to renew my lease.

The ladies in the leasing office are very DISRESPECTFUL!! they have treated me like if I am stupid and dont understand what I am trying to explain to them! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I like the new management now better than the last time. The people in the office are very helpful especially Tiana and Justine. The new manager is very helpful and a hardworking woman as well. I haven’t had any issues for the past months until today I received my bill. It went up $100 more without prior notice that they are going to charge us for common areas electricity, water (that used to be free), sewer (that insanely went up). All these happened in just a snap. No prior notice of the changes with bills and cannot even provide billing information of how they came up to the total accumulation cost. I will absolutely talk to a lawyer about this situation to be fair for all tenants. Global Pandemic has been rough to all of us and they’re just adding more financial stress.

Crystal springs has been time and time again unresponsive with the management. I have ordered a couple of packages to the apartment for my boyfriend and they never show up. There is a fee to pay to even use the parcel lockers at the apartment, which was NEVER mentioned upon signing up to rent there. Either packages get stolen or something, but management has not been helpful in finding my packages. Things are left on the mail room floor for anyone to take, which is absolutely ridiculous. I have been trying to get any help from the office staff with the situation and I keep getting the same response: ill need to talk to my manager and ill call you back by the end of the day. Guess what? No call back ever. Very poor professionalism.

Stay away from this place!! Overpriced and office admins and manager are very rude and unprofessional which is something you will see after you sign your lease. You can expect to pay utilities for common areas. Maintenance guys are really nice and helpful.The apartment didn’t look like the models. Bad paint, old appliances, super old showers and bath tubs. There’s nothing special about these apartments.

Our Move In Was Amazing, Tiana Was So helpful and Calm Through it all. The maintenance team is amazing ! Everything was so smooth and worked out perfectly . Definitely recommend this place .

I moved in mid March during the panademic and the staff has been so helpful. The manager Miss Brandi went above and beyond helping me sign the lease and walking me through the whole process. The office have all been so great and the community guest got the parking lots redone which looks fabulous. It is so nice to see them still doing improvements with all going on in the world.

I get the staff a 5 star rating. They are indeed polite to this old woman. However I can only give the building and grounds a 1 star rating. Please read to the end as there are good things about the place. There are 8 apartments per building. If on person smokes marijuana it will seep into all apartments. Also the noise from upstairs gets pretty loud. Can even hear them cooking and just walking. There is moss growing on the property and many water leaks outside that are not being addressed. The yard people use a lot of weed killer which can cause children and pets to get sick. On the plus side, if you are a bird watcher, geese fly overhead to Friendship Park. I have seen Acorn Woodpecker, Cardinals (desert variety). doves, pidgins, sparrows, and grackles. At the park I have seen black birds, ducks, and small heron type birds. So over all I had to give them a 3 star rating. Wish it could have been 5.

I started my process to relocate to West Phoenix to Avondale in October. The very first encounter with Tiana was awesome. Excellent customer service from the start. Once viewing the model apt, we were very pleased with the floor plan, the amenities and the peaceful common areas. On 12/05/20, we received our keys and additional information by Anita, and again we received a great welcome home. Thank you Tiana, Anita and Brandi for all your professionalism, courtesy and friendly welcome. We love our new home and we have some awesome neighbors around us.

The apartments are really nice. The pools are beautiful. The parking lots are always being cleaned. The office staff is so polite and helpful. The manager is awesome and always takes time to help residents.

I really wish I never moved into this apartment complex it’s very funny how the models they show you are very nice and basically every detail about them is perfect but let me tell you when we first got our keys to our new apartment that supposedly was newly remodeled what a disappointment... we were lied too everything looks old and you can see the paint chipping off our walls there’s a lot of details that you can easily notice that need to be addressed I’m very curious to know how many white spray paint bottles they used in our shower to make it look nice I only been here 2 months and I can write a whole book of things wrong at this complex and our apartment I regret moving in here so bad worst mistake I made in my life so far. Really wishing I was asked if we wanted a 6 month contract instead we didn’t have any option but to take a full year definitely not worth my money too over price for the quality you receive.

I have lived here for about 5 years. I love the area, and I love my apartment. Its very spacious and has a cute layout. Also, over the years they have really improved the landscaping and amenities. The gym was remodeled, they have a new mail system with lockers and the pool areas are beautiful. Parking is horrible- you will not find a spot other than the one given to you so forget about company, and maintenance is ok- getting better but they are usually very slow. What I dont like is that the management is always changing and they dont show any loyalty to those that have lived here a while. Nobody ever answers the phone in the office but theyre doing us a favor because its usually an unpleasant experience dealing with them. This new leasing company has issued me a renewal that is an increase of $95 where as I usually see a $30-$40 increase so ill probably be moving. Though I love the apartment - not worth $1200 honestly I could live somewhere nicer and pay maybe $50 more.

I have lived here for 5 1/2yrs. I found this community on line when I was leaving Chicago, & am completely happy with my decision to live here without even a visit. The staff here is very friendly & helpful. They have been remodeling apartments to update them, they are really great looking. Recently all the buildings have been getting new roofs, & the have moved/improved the gym. Also added a game room. Rent is comparable with the surrounding area. I recommend this community highly.

We love Crystal Springs Apartments the best apartment complex I have lived in in the entire Phoenix metropolitan area. The staff are so nice and always very helpful. All the amenities are clean and in great working order the pools are sparkling and very clean. There are reverse osmosis water machines around the complex which are very convenient and always in great working order. The fitness center is awesome always clean and a large variety of exercise stations and equipment. I would most definitely recommend someone to come and live here and be part of the community. There are also little dog parks located around the complex that have bags for your convenience to clean up after your pet and of course a garbage can located right on the station that is frequently changed. The landscape is always kept up in a very professional manner as landscapers come around once a week and perform a very professional service. The location is outstanding very close to stores in all directions and approximately a quarter of a mile from the beautiful friendship Park. Easy freeway access but the complex is set back from the freeway so you dont get that heavy traffic noise. I just cant say enough about the complex when I said it is the best complex I have ever lived in in all of Phoenix metropolitan area, I mean it. If youre looking for a new apartment stop by the office and talk with the wonderful staff they will be more than happy to help you out and answer all your questions. Dennis Anderson

At first appearance it seems great and everyone is so friendly getting you there but once you move in it is a completely different story. Been there 7 months and unfortunately my lease is active till next summer. I am a superintendent in construction and read the entire lease agreement. They are quick to hold you to it but fail to hold themselves to the same standard. The repairs and finishes within the apartment are far from Luxury. The wall patches are horrible. Missing blind slats. Missing base boards. My cat can actually go under the cabinets via hole. On day one of moving in I found that the washer and dryer were not working. Fan coil in AC unit was not working, called maintenance and first thing he asks is if i know how to turn on the AC that Im turning it incorrectly lol Waterline was not hooked up to fridge. I went to set up internet and the entire coax face plate fell out of the wall with no cable attached to it! Like are you serious?! Paint drips running down walls. Light vanity sets arent even installed properly. I have been locked out of my apartment because the screws in the latch pop out and catch against the strike. mentioned to maintenance on one of their several visits and did nothing about it. Took them almost a whole week to swap out overflowing trashcan at dog waste area. I waited 5 hours for them to fix my garage as it wouldnt close. I had motorcycles and all my work tools in there. They said the fix would be 15 minutes. They performed asphalt patches around noon one day. the same day a few hours prior they sent a mass text letting residents know they would be having work done. My girlfriend left to the grocery store and when she came back many parking spots were coned and taped off. They said the the asphalt company just happened to show up that day and begin work. Again Im a super in construction. Thats not how subs work let alone an asphalt company. There are 3 pools for the residents but only one is open with a max of 10 guests. How about getting the other ones ready? The pool by my unit was turning green from the algae accumulating. The gym and pools were closed for about 2 months but yet Im being charged for common area utilities that I cant even use. Today my gf was locked out of the unit and our dog recovering from surgery was inside. She is not on the lease. I called the office and asked if she could be let in. I was told if I texted a picture of my ID and a statement saying my name and her name theyd let her in. 20 minutes pass while shes waiting out in the heat only to be told no. You call the office and its difficult to get an answer. Maintenance is slow and even rude at times. Lighting at common areas was not working for about 2 weeks. Had to place a maintenance request for a common area for them to fix but was still charged for electrical fees. Stay away. Get yourself something better and get the quality you deserve for your money.

There is a heat wave this week.. they already shut down all the pools but one (which they removed all the furniture from) cant even maintain one pool and keep it open.... The renamed it to luxury apartments, nothing luxury about it.. they have had the last two months to get the pool ready during quarantine and yet could not even accomplish that... Sad tenants pay and move here for things like the pool and yet management cant even get 1 pool right..

The apartment is a nice size and it looks appealing. But it IS NOT worth dealing with the office staff and maintenance. The office staff are rude and disrespectful, they have no consideration for tenants or communication with tenants/each other.They need new staff, Ive personally seen other tenants in the office upset with the manager and her rudeness. I believe in the phrase Lead by example and maybe the reason the office staffs attitude and customer service is significantly less than satisfactory is because the manager (and I use that term VERY lightly) is. I had serious issues I needed to speak with her on two different occasions and she didnt return my calls until after I called corporate. Then when she did call, all she could do was give excuses instead of accept responsibility and have an action plan moving forward like a leader woould have done. When I had maintenance concerns either the office or I would put in a request, I would have to call multiple times to have my request taken care of and it would still take weeks. They have to come fix the same thing multiple times because their appliances are not good quality and their maintenance staff tries to do quick fixes. But at least the maintenance guys are pleasant. The gates are almost always broken! My car was broken into TWICE and once someone shot a BB gun into my windshield and broke it and the manager said we arent responsible for that and we cant replace damages Well of course, but what you can do is show some compassion! Do yourself a favor, read the reviews and proceed with caution! I wish I would have.

I have lived here for multiple years and have gone through multiple managements I can honestly say I enjoy the new management. The staff is always polite and helpful. What few maintenance concerns that I have had, have been always taken care of in a timely manner.

Everybody is nice and kind. I dont have any problems with anyone Ive lived here since 2012 and plan on staying here longer. This is my home and love where I am at. I would highly recommend living here.

Just recently moved in Tuesday. 5/14/19. Was told my apartment was “move in ready” . Although the new upgrade is wonderful compared to my old place , I’ve put in several work orders for maintenance Workers to come and fix1. My front door which doesn’t close (serious safety issue)2. My master bedroom toilet doesn’t flush.3. Jack and Jill bathroom bathtub has been leaking for 5 days ! I hope you guys plan on paying my water bill totally unacceptable .Spent over 1600$ for an apartment that was not “move in ready” what so ever. Was told they would come Wednesday 5/15/19 to fix issues as it was top safety priority for front door . Hasn’t heard from them since. I’m very disappointed.I hope management or corporate pays my water bill because my bath tub leaking for 5 days straight when I’ve asked multiple time for maintenance to come fix hasn’t showed up. This is insane having that I am barely here for 5 days in my new home. Unacceptable !!!!

We just moved in a week ago in the Crystal Springs Avondale apartments. The apartment has been renovated recently. It is beautiful. The staff in the office is very friendly and helpful. There were some things that needed fixed and the maintenance guys did a great job.

Big shout out to Roman from the maintenance staff. We submitted an emergency service call on a Saturday night about our air conditioning not working. Roman was very quick and professional, he explained what was wrong with it and had it working in no time! Always a pleasure seeing him around!

Apartments are okay, the real winner is the office staff. Manager and assistant are responsive and seem to care.

Awful experience here. We have lived here for a little over 3 years. Over all the appearance of the place is nice which is deceiving. In the 3+ years we have lived here there has been 4 different property management companies and none of them have had any success in changing the quality of service. When putting in a work order it can take anywhere from 3 days to a week before the problem is even diagnosed. They hardly ever have parts on hand so then either you must wait for the part to come in or must wait for the appliance to be replaced. The community is advertised as a gated community, but I would say that a third of the time that we have lived here at least one of the gates is broken giving free access to the community at all times of the day. Every summer there has been an issue with at least 1 of the pools if not all three of them and at the same time. And to top it all off we have had our vehicles broken into 3 times in the last year and a half. Law enforcement is here on a regular basis dealing with theft issues. Although there is mention of security on site they are not here all the time at night. The cost of rent has gone up considerably in the last 3 years and with the rates as high as they are the amenities and the management company and office staff could make the stay here more enjoyable.

I love living here, beautiful complex, great maintenance and pretty quiet overall but parking is TERRIBLE. Management will not do anything to resolve this issue and cars have been parked with expired tags for MONTHS. Its to the point that cars have to park along side the streets OUTSIDE of the complex, which is not safe at all, especially if youre a woman walking 10-15 minutes at night just to get home from where you parked. I have two vehicles and cannot afford the additional $80 for the garage on top of rent and management refuses to offer any additional parking spaces. I cant even have visitors because of lack of parking, let alone find myself a spot. I urge management to get a handle on this because this is such a great place to live and I would hate to leave over parking.

My husband and I lived here for a year and we enjoyed living here. When we moved in the apartment had some dings and scratches here and there like some of our outside screens were busted, some very slight damage to the walls. Just typical wear and tear. We made sure on our walk through to note and take pictures and video of everything. For the year we lived there the only problem we had was a small roach problem. When we told the office they immediately sent out an exterminator. Unfortunately the roach problem didn’t stop but it did get better by a little bit. My advice would be to keep telling the office if you have that problem. For us we just never made time to go talk to them again so we just dealt with it. They never got into our food or fridge at least. Besides that they accommodated my service dog with no fuss, we never had a problem with our rent messing up and for the most part our apartment was in a quiet part in the back but mosquitoes and spiders were a small problem but we never went to the office to complain. All in all it was a pretty decent place to live, the only reason we moved is because the price for our renewal was just a bit over what we wanted to pay anymore.

I lived at Crystal Springs apartments for four and a half years. Any issues I had while living there were taken care of in a timely matter. The dog stations are always kept up on and the staff is very friendly. Upon move out I did have a small problem with billing but the apartment manager actually called me back and was more than willing to help me take care of what I needed. Sometimes it may take a bit for the office to return a call but after living there I was able to witness how busy the front staff is. Pools are always kept clean and there are many grill stations around the complex that maintenance is always keeping up on. Tanya the manager is AMAZING!!!!!

100% HIGHLY do not recommend these apartments at all. I have a bed bug problem right now and its being taken so lightly that I have to take care of it myself. One time there was a monsoon and our light in the kitchen fell off the ceiling and water came pouring. They said no maintenance was there to help because it was Saturday. Which was a lie. I found the maintenance guy in the rain. A fan fell from our ceiling. Plumbing is terrible. Toilets are always overflowing. Nothing is taken seriously. And they always have new people working like every week. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

I currently live here now. 4/16/18. Unit 2181. Horrible maintenance team. Put in multiple work orders and takes weeks even months on a certain issue to get fixed or addressed. You ask the front office about maintenance request and nothing gets fixed. Do not consider moving in here.Last straw was most recent maintenance request about my dish washer. They Lied and said request was completed same day I put in the request, but NO ONE SHOWED UP TO FIX IT AGAIN.HORRIBLE LYING MAINTENANCE TEAM!!!

Very sad to say, but in this third year that I have been living here, I am paying much more for the rent and everything is worse. They cut trees, there is no place for the car, dirty pools and people go to the pool with their speakers and show no respect. Ive seen more trash in the pools than when I started living here. Barbecues are worth seeing. When you go to the gym you need to bring your own disinfectant. There are parts of the street that are sunken, its fine if you have a 4x4. the doors almost never work well...Im looking for another place.

My sister lives here and this apartment is a complete disgrace. The office manager and staff are the most unprofessional, discriminatory and vile people Ive ever known in my life. If you want to be treated with dignity, compassion and respect DO NOT choose these filthy, underhanded people to rent from.

Not kid friendly! They cant stand the kids running around playing. Refuse to have pools open and give no notice about pool closures.

Do not move in. Rent is too much for what too get and they raise it every year. They don’t let you see your apartment before you move in and when I did move in the Apartment wasn’t even ready (still being worked on) the carpets are poorly installed, it basically looks like a rug on the floor. When it rains water leaks from the roof. Cockroaches in apartment. Front office is rude. Pools are always closed due to “maintenance”. And now you have to pay to receive any of your packages.

I have been here for 3 years. I have enjoyed my stay and all of Management and Maintenance!! I wish I could stay but I had to move for other reasons 🥺

Not to happy with the emergency maintenance system. Call-center asks to many questions an CAN NOT guaranty when someone can get in to fix the problem. Ihad a flooding issue with my toliet and....

If I could give no stars I would! Im currently living in these apartments now, only 3 months in and everything breaks. We call for maintenance and we dont get anyone out for days. I currently have a leaking roof in my restroom. Called Friday, nothing in, called Saturday for them to say we have to wait till Monday. Ive lived in bad areas that work better than this place.Update on roof. Called Friday 5/15 it is now 5/19 and we still have a leaking roof. We have called sent out an email and all we keep getting is the same answer

We’ve been living here for about 8 months now and they have been nothing but very nice and helpful with us! We wouldn’t have chosen an any other place to live at!

I am so happy to be living here. Its a great location because of the I-10 and the 101 are both so close. The people in the office are great. Not just friendly but theyre actually really nice. Nicole, Rebecca, and the manager Tracy are all wonderful and helpful. I recommend these apartments to everyone!

Honestly I used to love these apartments! I used to always tell friends and family members to move in here. I am on my 3rd year of lease, Once my lease is over I will definitely move out. I feel a lot has changed, maintenance people take their time to come and get the work done, or they never come in at all. I have been having issues with a few things, I will not be recommending anyone anymore. OH and no one ever answers the PHONE >;(

I have lived here with my husband for about 7 months. We are very HAPPY. Ever since we came to check out the apartment, we had such a good experience with management and all the ladies who work in the office. They are all very FRIENDLY and helpful.If I ever have a question I can just pop in the office without an appointment an the staff will happily help us.I have NEVER had a problem with roaches or any bugs but then again I keep my apartment CLEAN. I have never even seen a roach when I walk to get my mail or go to the gym.The apartment is big. The walls are thick, I live next to a few month old baby, and dogs in both the apartments down stairs and I have never heard the baby cry or the dogs bark. The neighbor hood is quite, even on the weekends.A lot of people here have dogs but they all clean up after there pets. They recently did a paint job on the complex and we liked the new colors and that they would give us notices on like when not to park your car in certain spots because of they were painting and stuff. I always see the staff in the mornings cleaning the pool or the outdoors.We have one parking spot assigned to us. There is plenty of free parking available. There are 6 free spots available right in front of our place but if you get here after a certain time then other people park there.( who wouldnt want to park right up front right?) But there is also parking to the left and right and behind us, you can always find parking. Maybe a 2 min walk max.This place is safe. We have never been broken into or anything done to our cars or any calls. I have never seen the police been called. Very safe area. Rent has been the same all these months. No surprises.

Disappointed. We went to view apartments to possible renting but they did not take my current roommates tribal ID as valid credentials and told us he will not be allowed to enter the vicinity because it does not work with their systems. He did not have his drivers ID on him because his Tribal one is government issued and serves as an equal to a drivers ID. Very disappointed in this place and their system.

DO NOT MOVE INTO APARTMENT 2174. it has a lot of issues. i am so glad I only leased for 9 months. Crystal springs apartments are lovely outside but in the inside they are horrible. carpet is dirty. they barely gave it a quick wash when I moved in. the restrooms where so disgusting. the bathtub had mold around the corners and it was coming apart. the guest restroom leaked THE WHOLE ENTIRE 9 MONTHS I lived their. I had to always have a bucket under. and when I got home from work it leaked over the bucket of how full it was. both restrooms sinks leaked under so every time I washed my hands or anything their would be a mess of water spilling on the cabinets. the cabinets where rot. the guest bathtub would only pour boiling HOT water. we never used the guest bathroom because of that. maintenance came over to fix all the problems with the apartment about 7-10 times and NEVER fixed anything. i got very unlucky with that unit assigned to me. the water smelled bad. i noticed that right away. the pools where super green during the whole summer time. people would park in my paid parking spot. the rent went up even more so i moved as quick as i could. renting that apartment at least is not worth what they rent for. I didnt even call the office for help anymore after the 10th time because they never fixed anything. I just patiently waited for my lease to be done. i really dont recommend it at all.

I have lived in these apartments for almost 2 years now and am amazed at how many bad reviews I see. Keep in mind that most bad reviews are written in anger and most happy customer dont take the time to write one. The apartments are nice, and you have your own washer and dryer in every apartment so you dont have to worry about any kind of bugs. We dont have roaches, never even seen one! The apartments are big, clean and beautiful.... The colors are nice and the grounds are always clean! They even have on site garages and storage for rent if you need a little extra room. When my mother in law passed away, the management was beyond supportive and helped us in ways I never thought possible! I sat and cried for nearly 30 min and they just talked to me and gave me a shoulder when I needed it. Anytime we have an issue, they bust their tails to fix the problem right away and are ALWAYS nice and helpful. I stop in sometimes just to say hi, thats how nice they are! My daughter got a job and the office printed out the papers she needed for work with a smile on their face giving my girl congrats on her first job, and of course didnt charge us ! They are always friendly and helpful, I just adore the staff! They have night security that walk the grounds and will take care of any problems you might have. The security even keeps an eye on my youngest daughter if she goes out at night to walk our dog! Not to mention they are very pet friendly and keep treats at the office for pet visitors. I love this place and have no intentions of leaving any time soon. If your looking to move to Avondale, I strongly suggest coming here first! Its quiet, secure and beyond friendly.

Went and applied for an apartment got approved for the place but I found a better deal so when I told the office staff that my deposit was to high and I got a better price they didnt refund my holding fee of 153$ it had not even been 24 hours from the time I applied so dont waste your time by going here they keep the holding deposit if you choose not to rent from the... Further more the head off management argued with me about ... Run!!!!

This place is horrible! My granddaughter has been here for 2 years. She pays her rent early every month, shes never had any trouble at her apartment, not a lot of different vistors and no police ever. She is the perfect tenant but for whatever reason the office people keep messing with her. That manager has a huge issue for whatever reason and it seems my granddaughter isnt the only one having issues with her. Ive read the comments and the common denominator is the manager. She needs to be relieved of her duty and maybe this place will strive. I would not recommend these apartments because the stress is not worth it. My granddaughter is a nurse and saves lives every day and this is how they treat our daily heros. Shameful. Do not waste your time nor money.

TERMITES and more TERMITES!!! Extremely displeased with managements response to the issue. Waited weeks for treatment. Now not only do we have mud tubes in the living room and dining room, now they are in the bedroom. Wonder if the owner knows how management is addressing the termite situation.

Not happy with there team always late in fixing stuff waiting still for them to fix’s my apartment but there good on collecting there cash and late fees when they don’t do there part

Worst apartments I have ever stayed. My apartment was broken into twice and not once did they care or did anything for the inconvenience. Stay away from that place its super shady and management sucks. Only person whos worth it is jasmine, great customer service

Horrible apartments to live in. Moved in less than a month ago. The apartment I was moved into is so much smaller than the model home I was shown. None of our stuff fits. Management would not move us into a bigger apartment. They said we would have to live here for 6 months first in order to transfer, and would have to pay a $500 transfer fee on top of new deposit and holding fees. Maintenance sucks, put in a work order on Feb 9th and still no one has came to fix my issues. The refrigerator and laundry room smell rotten, they said theres nothing they can do about the smell. Overall bad experience here, I wish I never moved in.

The apartment is okay, basically a quiet bedroom community. The amenities here however suck. 3 swimming pools. I met another resident who told me that after swimming in the main pool by the office, she found hair entangled in her toes from the use of that pool. The medium sized pool looked beautiful when I moved here 8 months ago. That pool was closed down for a few weeks after Memorial weekend due to turning green. The pool then had to close down from July 4th until the end of the month while they were allegedly trying to clean it up. The pool finally re-opened for only a couple of days (the water was almost blue but remained cloudy) and then once again got shut down for being green. I have a very cute photo of the pool with a duck serenely floating on the palm leave green water. The office staff report that they are working on it. Bullshit. They are using a vendor to maintain these swimming pools but apparently there is no one within the community management or maintenance that knows how to care for and maintain a swimming pool. Every other public swimming pool in this area (hotels included) have a larger volume of people that use the pools and those are maintained appropriately for public use. As far as submitting a maintenance request, one had better hope that it is nothing urgent or else it will most definitely get ignored. The fitness center is decent size but apparently they dont know how to keep the air conditioning functioning during the triple digit heat. There is also a business center with computers that are not connected to anything. Overall, if you are looking for a nice apartment, these are nice but the amenities and lack of concern and incompetence by the office staff/maintenance ruin it. Dont waste your money here, there are better properties in the area.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible apartments, horrible manager (for the lack of better words) and a corporate office who does absolutely nothing. This is probably one of the worst apartments in the Valley.

The staff is friendly but lack professionalism. The lady from downstairs smoked so much that the cigarette smell would travel up to my apartment. I would take off my shoes so I would not have to dirty the carpet and to be honest I left the apartment in better conditions then when I first moved in, CLEAN!I was assuming that I would get my whole deposit back and Im getting a little over half. I guess they do not appreciate the fact that they did not have to send someone to clean or anything like that. They also lack on calling you back. I mean if I am working and I tell a customer that I will call back, then that is what I should do because it is my word that came out of my mouth. Oh and also when I first moved in they said that they would be getting new workout equipment because most of the equipment does not work. I moved out and they never replaced it. I guess it is just for show!

I lived here for 2 years for work and I HATE IT! Every type of bug imaginable gets into my home; beetles, wasps, scorpions, camel spiders... Dirty carpets when we moved in, mold in both bathrooms, the appliances are from the 90s and are worn and stained. The utilities suck; water pressure is weak and city water has visible debris. We will be moving soon.!!!!! COMING FROM A CURRENT RESIDENT DO NOT SIGN A LEASE AT CRYSTAL SPRINGS!!!!!!

Used to live here and still have friends living here. Loved the size of the apartments but wasnt to happy with management and ownership switching so rapidly.

UPDATE: just happened today 07/11/2019 I went to the office to give my repair request letter myself and the manager named Megan was assisting me and apparently she responded to me with her questionable statement.Never in my entire life a manager of apartment complex have told me that whatever repair the unit requires, doesn’t need for me to write it in legal letter. How bizarre is that? This apartment we are renting for over two years has been starting to have issues from ceiling to malfunctioning old appliances up to the quality of work they’re putting in. I personally doing my responsibility as well as a tenant, I report issues verbally through the phone and in person and if no response yet in over a week then it is just right to put it in letter way to follow up. It is not about rushing them but I believe I am protecting my rights as well as a tenant. Who wants a future responsibility of paying broken dishwasher that has never been fixed? In fact it is under the A.R.S. § 33-1324.Let me start here..First of, telling me that you have only 1 person working out of 400 units is none of my business at all. However, I understand that there are many work orders coming from hundreds of tenant.Second, whenever I talk to them and answer them in positive way and straight to the point as I can, they are just keep beating around the bush and telling me that they’re not there to argue, and so do I? Right? I’m there not to waste your time nor my time, I am there to communicate effectively as I can regarding the “issues- ssss” with the unit we are renting. (non stop unit issues, I’m having headache lately!)I love Rico (I believe he is the head of maintenance team) and his team, I can see how hard working they are and I’m no against of this group of people.I just don’t understand, how they are not prepared for having people to fix issues since they have 400 something unit in that complex and the fact that their appliances are way too old and about to retired. Management of this complex is not handling this good enough. They’re good in hosting events for kids like pool party and whatsoever but they should just work for kids like managing events since they’re good at it (seriously though!) but talking about professionally managing this beautiful complex, please hire a better and reliable team! Unfortunately I still live in these horrid apartments. Im currently 7 months pregnant with twins, Ive been saving for months to buy all the essentials for when they arrive. Well, this month they decided to lose our rent payment of nearly $1200. They served us a 5 day eviction notice and gave us the option to instead just pay the rent and late fees (which added up to $1620) so that we could stay. So here we are, nearly $3000 down for one months worth of rent for a crappy 3 bedroom apartment where it can take up to 4 months for them to get back to you about a work order. Now we cant afford to move or even buy a bed for our soon to be new born children because they cant figure out how to do their jobs. All they care about is how to get more money from you in any way they can. If i could i would give them -5 stars. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE! They dont care about anything but the bottom line. Recently a friend had a car stolen from the gated parking area. After much hassle, the friend has acquired another car, from which the antenna was stolen just today! They obviously dont screen their residents very carefully. They will not allow my friend to break their lease because they say they dont guarantee any kind of security in their complex! I am sure they dont tell prospective tenants anything about the lack of security. They need to take some of the money they are profiting and hire security to patrol the parking lots that are, by the way, behind security gates that are more often than not BROKEN!

This apartment is horrible! Unfortunately my fiancé lives in this hell hole. She can not wait to leave and I can’t wait for her to leave. They issued notices with out ANY proof. They claim neighbors collaborated their stories but they LIED. My fiancé talked to those very neighbors and they don’t even like the office staff. The “manager” is just as horrible as her employees. Multiple tenants have issues with her. And corporate is a JOKE. I’ve sat with my fiancé while she’s called them and all it does it ring for about 5 minutes straight then hang up. This place needs to be bought by new management because it’s going down.

I recently moved in and I really love this place! The apartment layout is very cozy and the balcony is quite big compared to other places I have lived. I was worried about the low rating, but I would like to say, I dont regret for a second about my decision!The staff has been friendly and helpful since day one. Dont let the rating scare you off. I thought it was great when I toured but I DEFINITELY will not be renewing my lease. My apartment is at the front of the complex but my assigned parking spot is in the back. So I get charged $5 a month for a spot that is 7 buildings away. I’ve asked multiple times about it and I guess nothing can be done. Appliances are so old, missing blinds when I moved in. Don’t even bother emailing them because they never respond. Today was the final straw because it’s the Fourth of July and I wanted to grill and take my kids to the pool. NOPE! All 3 pools are locked. Don’t advertise your 3 “amazing” pools and then have them closed when we want to use them.

WARNING!!! WARNING!!! RIP OFF!!! Make sure when you apply for Crystal springs to know what kind of credit check they are going to do. They basically pull your whole life. Any collections, any civil court cases, your actual credit score and many other things. Its basically a scam to steal your application fees. So dont waste your money or time if you have collections. We lost 98 dollars on the application fees cause they dont tell you off the bat that they check the actual credit score. My roommate was screwed cause like many other Americans Was once young and had credit cards that went into collection and we were denied because of that. I had a civil court case that was closed 7 years ago in another state!!! And they denied me because of that!! I know it was dropped because it was wrongfully filed. But Im not going to go out of my way to call another state and jump through all these hoops to live in a place who gives you a headache way before u have a chance to even live there!! In my whole adult life Ive never had issue renting anywhere!! I didnt even know that there was a civil court case under my name until I decided to apply here. So apply at your own risk!!!!

HORRIBLE place to live. Changed property management and still cant get it together. I lived here for 1 year and immediately moved out when my lease was up. The gates NEVER work. Mine and my mothers cars were keyed after a few months of being there. When you first move in, like any other place, youre given a sheet to make note of any issues wrong in the apartment. One, so youre not charged and two so they can fix the problem. Well they NEVER came to fix our issues after it being brought up. The garbage disposals break easily. God forbid yours breaks because itll take you calling and telling them FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES. Just for them to send someone out. Youre lucky if you can even get someone on the phone. They allow the postal people to just leave peoples mail sitting out for anyone to take. I dont know about the other pools but the one by my apartment always had extra locks on them so even if you have a key you get into the pool. This is Arizona WHY ARE THE POOLS LOCKED DURING SUMMER. Theyre trying to currently charge us for things that were put on the paper at the time of the inital move in, that THEY never fixed. If you know whats good for you, DONT MOVE HERE

We currently live here and never had in issue till last week saturday with our AC March 16 2019. My girlfriend who is also on the lease went down to the office Monday the 18th to let them know about the AC the girl Jasmine who actually showed us around the complex and was very nice at first before we moved in wasnt so nice now and told my GF that its not so hot right now you guys can just open some windows like seriously ? Who says that. Weve never been late on our rent were great residents but for her to tell us that its just not right! LIke wheres the customer service at . Fast forward to that monday a couple Maintenance guys came by right away which was awesome they changed the thermostat which i knew wasnt the issue but they did and they did some other things that i dont know exactly what they were the thing is whatever they did had the ac running and we were happy . Then tuesday morning came march 19th i woke up feeling sweaty again like i did Saturday the 16 Sunday the 17th and Monday the 18th and i said to myself not again so since i work tuesday through saturday all day i didnt have the chance to go till today sunday the 24th Unfortunately theres no Maintenance so i hope tomorrow monday the 25th they can come and actually fix it because me my Gf and my dog are hot as hell and those cracked windows arent keeping us cool its been a week with no AC and living in arizona makes it 10x worse .

Visiting family here. Really nice, clean place. The clubhouse is fun. The one we went to has a gym, movie theate, and pool table.

Apparently going into peoples apartments without permission is acceptable. Maintnace walks into my apartment like nothing was wrong after talking with him and not given permission to enter. He then tells me that we can schedule an apointment. I leave work early to be home and get the work done but they dont show up! Takes forever to fix my maintenance request. Had no problems before when i moved in 2 years ago. I think they got new staff and this place has got worse since then. Rained really hard a couple weeks ago and water was pouring through my roof through three diffrent places. Also had my truck broken into while I was at work. Talked with some people who live here, they said their apartment was broken into also their car . Overall not the best place to live and you can probably find a nicer place for the price. Just stay away from here if you can.

Crystal Springs is horrible to deal with. You can hardly get ahold of the office on the phone. We were told by the office staff that we need to have all adults sign the lease including the Male who lived there.... It was my sister, myself (female) and my 14yo son, they wouldnt believe me when I said thats all that lives there. I was told over and over the adult Male who lives there needed to sign the lease. They are absolutely horrible to deal with and they will stick you with every single thing they can even when you leave the apartment looking better than when you moved in. We had to transfer apartments due to our neighbors and they would NOT give back the deposit on that one even though it was a complete mess when we moved in! They will charge you to clean the carpets even though they are removing them to put wood flooring down and brand new carpets.Avoid this complex at all costs.

Been for 2 years and they keep changing management companies. Nothing gets fixed and everything the must order. There are better apartments then CS stay away!

Ive lived here for almost a year, a year in March. I have had ups and downs here I love my apartment really nice everything works great washer can kinda stick at times when you leave the door shut. Struggled with ants for a few days but got rid of them with some spray we bought. Then apartment guy came in and sprayed as well and havent had any since then. Everyone in the office is so nice and sweet. Rebecca is awesome she got me my apartment and has always been super helpful even when shes busy. Only problem is Ive had some issues with some of my neighbors. I got beat up pretty bad from someone else that lives in these apartments too and the cops or the office hasnt been able to find them. But they live in here somewhere. Overall good apartment.

I have lived here for over a year now. Started in a 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment above me had 4 adults and 6 kids living in it. They threw garbage off the balcony above. I mad a number of complaints including pictures,but never any action taken. When my lease was close to up I looked around and decided to downsize to a 2 bedroom since it was just me and my son. I spoke with a new agent in the office (they had just changed management companies to 5th Ave.) and they priced up the 2 bedroom and it was about 100 dollars cheaper a month than a couple others I was looking at so I agreed to another nine months. Big mistake. the apartment was filthy and the refrigerator reeked of rotting food (none was present), the washer was broke, the dishwasher racks were broken (still have on been fixed after 6 months here) little to no air flow from the heating and cooling system, 2 cabinet drawer missing (finally replaced 3 weeks ago) My garage which I have been renting from the day I moved in over a year ago was hit and miss that the door would even operate. When I informed the office of this they told me I didnt have a garage. I told them I have had the same garage from day on and surprise, oh this is not on your lease, even though I was very clear with the agent that I was keeping the garage when I change apartments, and my rent goes up 80 dollars a month( it was 75 when I first rented it). We are supposed to have access to the pool and hot tub, but they pad lock it after business hours and boom you cant use them. I just stopped in and asked the agent to un-padlock the pool and she says I dont have a key go to the other pool and see if thats open. Yep that is how you treat your tenants. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the maintenance dept. has been great to deal with. They are all new from when I first came and they came into a hornets nest. Now they are telling me at the end of my lease they are going to increase my rent 200 dollars a month. That is crazy, oh and I have never been late on my rent. Renter beware

Apartments are great, no complaints about living here, except parking!! If you have more than one car, (roomates or just have 2 cars) parking here is obnoxious. There is not alot of options if you live in the front. Might as well sign up for urber to get you to your apt. Nothing like walking an extra 10 minutes just to get home.. there is an option of a garage but almost an extra 100 dollars is not something all can do.

Lived here for 3 years. Overall good experience. Only gripe is the parking, not enough spots.

These apartment are HORRIBLE!!! They are not consistent. Its not OUR FAULT that the website is down! So we pay rent online and now you cant! So now we got alllll these late fines because of what?!? This is bs. The rent should be accepted on the 4th with no late fine with The 1St being a national holiday!!!! I even called AVENUE 5 and they dont even know what Crystal Spring was.. Had me On hold and they would have someone call me back tomorrow......Weve been here 7 months , took them 4 months to fix the things that were wrong in the walk through the carpet is old, tile is cracked, they light bill be really high because they apartments were made cheaply. Air coming in from all the closed windows; its just wrong. When they show you the model apartment your like Yes I love it then you see the actual apartment its like no way smh. Im thankful to NOT have the bug problem like others. Theres only 2 people that work in the leasing office. They never answer the phone. You literally have to go down there just to wait to even be talked too. Its ridiculous! I really really dislike these Apartment. We will NOT be renewing our lease!! Please read reviews!!!

See the infestation of mosquitoes? See the BIG dogs running around with no leash and sometimes no owner? Smell the marijuana? Go into your apartment... someone that rents mine is going to regret it - smells from drains they cant seem to fix... its constant. Is it time of year for ants... they coming too... lol - did I mention you pay pest control? You are paying the rent you are for the single pain windows that prevent you from sitting in your sofa because you cant... its too hot if you dont dark out windows. They pick and choose who to hold compliant. Not supposed to have anything that is not patio furniture on patio... LOOK AT UPSTAIRS NEIGHBORS... holding them accountable. Its just wrong. You get what you pay for. DId I mention the security issues with the lights... they are all out - you know near the trailer park you live across the street from! Have fun! Its loud. You have kids as young as 4 outside running unattended all the time. You live by the pool - enjoy your Saturday and Sunday. Its just the truth for most of us, not just me. Walk around talk to your neighbors ask about the office staff. Ask about the bugs. Ask about the water pressure. Ask if their clothes get wet in the washer. Note the leaks coming from every drain outside... water running... your pressure will be horrible. Cars are broken into all the time... Go next door - pay a little more but quality inside and out. Dont let surface deceive you! However this is AVONDALE.. so maybe you wont notice... Good Luck! You rent here you deserve what you get! Wish I could upload pics. Just know its the truth.

I have no loger than a month living here, i found cacarouches in the bathroom, i let managment know and im still waiting for them to do something about it. Already break into to my apartment, they stoled all mt stuff, lack of security!!! Im so disappointed!!!!

The most difficult property management company Ive ever had the displeasure of working with. Experienced a myriad of issues, such as:*Damage to kitchen floor which was reported at move-in and never fixed in over 12 months*Attempt to refuse rent payment quoting a policy that went against the signed rental agreement so they could charge late payment fees*While exiting my apartment one day, a concrete stair on the staircase broke under my foot and I nearly fell down the entire flight of stairs. This common area presented a major safety concern in accessing my home and was not fixed for weeks.The apartment staff is rude and clearly not willing to help. They make promises to follow up and then ignore you. Now that I have moved out they are attempting to charge me hundreds of dollars because my furniture left impressions in the carpet - to be expected when a couch sits in a single location for over a year.Have attempted multiple times to reach the property manager to discuss and continue to get the runaround from the staff. I wish I had never moved in, and would never recommend any property managed by Avenue 5.

The customer service at this place is non existent. I can never get any help and I wish I had names to show how unsatisfied I am with this place.

From the day I moved in to this apartment, they have lied!!They show you a beautiful model but your apartment is dirty, broken appliances, and many issues including bed bug infestations.My apartment had a previous tenant that had a bedbug infestation and they allowed me to move in there without disclosing this to me.I also have had issues that they still have not addressed within my apartment.They are VERY shady and dishonest people. I would NEVER recommend you moving to this apartment.It had been the worse experience ever and I have only lived there a few months!!!

I have only lived in the complex for 1 year. And thats toooo much for me. I have been through 2 managment companies; 4 managers, 6 different office staff and each one knows less then the last. The AC leakes on you rug; the water presure is sooo low you have to flush 4 times. People that do not live here park swim and work out here all the times. The place is full of Section-8 White and Spainish Welfare Mothers that dont work and take their dogs and childern in dirty daipers to the pool. I moved in on a special and when I went to dicuss renewing the rent was to go up 100 bucks on my unit. Sooooo not worth it. This place has really gone down hill in one year and staying one more is not an option for me!!!!Or anyone else for that matter

Terrible. It was infested w cockroaches that we had to move out. As well did our upstairs neighbor. Unless you don’t mind living w these critters this is not the place for you.

I don’t recommend living here you give them a call they don’t answer i go to the office and i see the employees just sitting there doing nothing really bad service that they give you atleast for my experience and residents here fighting over for a parking spot

I have lived here off and on since 2005 when I moved to Arizona. It has gone downhill over the last 2 years and I am not renewing my lease. This unit I am in now is the third apartment I have rented and I have had many problems with scorpions. The grounds are not kept well and there is way too much traffic in and out from people who dont appear to belong here. I wont be renewing my lease.

My husband has the Flu and can’t take a bath because your hot water only last for five minutes...... you people are a joke.
