I would not recommend ridge cleaners for any type of alterations. The prices are extremely high. I had a very simple Sun dress hemmed on the bottom and about An inch taken off the straps and they charge me $33. And it was a very simple dress to do if I could have done it myself I would have. The lady that check me out was very rude.

I brought one of my suits here for a simple dry cleaning and when I came to pick it up the staff had lost my custom fit dress pants. I asked them if they could look for the pants that evening and to give me an update that evening as I had an event the following morning. They never called and I had to visit my tailor and have a new pair of pants custom fitted the evening before my event. I called the following day and they said they would look for it and follow up with me during the week. They never followed up so I went to the store to get a refund for my lost pants. It took two more weeks for me to receive a refund (three weeks since the garments were lost) and I only received a follow up on one of the multiple occasions I asked for one. I understand there is human error but for a company who’s mission statement is “Our mission is to serve others” they didn’t do a very good job. My suit jacket was cleaned well but I will be taking my service elsewhere from this day forth and informed my tailor of the poor customer service I received.

Fantastic staff and always helpful. Secret tip, theyll hook you up with a coupon if you forgot yours at home. Plus they now offer just in case items like shirts, ties and socks. And theyll let you do the Monday morning make over in the dressing room rather than changing your shirt in the parking by lot on the way to the airport. Admit it, weve all done it.

Started coming here about 7 months ago, and it’s now my go to cleaners! Friendly staff, professional and efficient! Love the next day serves, that’s why I used them for the first time and now it’s my favorite dry cleaners! Excellent job! Bonus using local business!

Had a bit of sticker shock on the costs when things werent exactly clear on their pricing, but Shelly rectified things very quickly and I will continue my business there.My advice to everybody: make sure youre clear on the costs of your alterations/cleaning before you leave the store, that way theres no surprises.

I recently switched to Ridge Cleaners for all my dry cleaning needs following a string of bad experiences with another local Avon Lake dry cleaner. I was surprised to see what Ive been missing! The people were friendly, the lobby wasnt a sweat shop with an annoying motion sensor going off every 3 seconds, and my shirts and pants were pressed nicely. I like to work with local businesses and family run businesses. I also like to work with companies that support local businesses like the North Coast Chamber of Commerce and the Power of More. Keep up the high level of service and youll have my business and Ill refer my friends.

Poor to Fair is the lowest available. Do not use ridge cleaners. my wife is a 51 year old Grandmother, she takes care of her stuff. Took a like new leather jacket to be cleaned and conditioned before putting away for winter. They shipped it out for someone else to do. Jacket was destroyed. Ridge Cleaners refused to replace it. I sued in Elyria Municipal Court. I won,, Lisa Sebastian, the owner now refuses to pay. Will not return email requests for payment and will not return phone calls about collecting on the Magistrates Decision in my favor. Anyone wishing verification I would be happy to supply the court records. I would post a copy here if it were possible. Their website says, let us clean your expensive leather, sign in the shop says we clean leather. They dont and when it gets destroyed they will argue in court that it has no value!!! Stay away, clean and condition yourself, learn from my mistake.

These people are the worst. Ruined three pairs of pants by tailoring incorrectly then tried blaming me. Poor customer service, rude and condescending to their customers.

You might have to dip into your savings account if you get your dry cleaning done here. I have a couple of dress pants that they charged over $9 for. Nothing fancy about these pants. One pair was wool and the other was just a basic pair of dress pants from Nordstrom Rack. $12 for a suit coat (not including the suit pants). I recently move to Avon Lake from Chicago and what would cost me $35 - $40 for a load of dry cleaning in Chicago cost me $85 at Ridge Cleaners. I found the one place in Avon Lake where the cost of living is more expensive than Chicago.
