The Tree Tender is pretty cool. I work with them and choose to do so because it is a quality company. Id prefer steak over a mcdonalds hamburger any day and though Nickey may not appreciate that reference that is what it is to me. Nickey is a swell guy. Bryce is a swell guy. Tree Tender did a great job. They were very thoughtful about what to trim and what to leave. My live oak looks better than it has in years. They also cleaned up my yard leaving it better than it looked when they showed up. I highly recommend this local company.

Nickey knows trees. We called him after some septic trenching damaged roots to our oak trees. We were concerned about their recovery and if the damage was fatal. Nickey helped to calm us down and walk through our options and gave us recommendations to properly backfill the trenches to promote healing and new root growth. We really appreciate Nickeys advice. Nickey Bishop the Tree Tender loves trees and has taken great care of ours! He is an authentic and honest person who will talk straight with you. He wont kill a tree though so if you need removal of a live tree, call someone who doesnt love trees so much.

The Tree Tender crew cleaned some brush out of my backyard. Did a great job.They also did a great job trimming my tree in the front yard.

The Tree Tender has been the sole provider of care for my 600+ year live oak for 3 years. They do a great job keeping her trimmed up and off the roof and stopped by and made sure she was healthy when I thought I saw an issue (there wasnt an issue.)

Nickey Bishop is the real deal. Hes been taking care of our trees for over 20 years. Hes incredibly knowledgeable about trees, very thoughtful, gives excellent advice, and can help you achieve both short-term and long-term goals while considering your budget. Because many of our trees were hackberries, some years ago he recommended that we chain them to each other very high up in the canopy since these trees tend to fall over during heavy rain storms. Around 2001 during an incredibly destructive storm in Austin, several of our 75 foot hackberry trees fell. Because of the chains that Nickey and his team installed, our house was not damaged by the falling trees. He helped us put together a post-storm plan for our trees which we are still operating on today. Call him - hes excellent.
