Where do I start? Justyn is everything I could ever want in a realtor. Ive gone back and forth regarding writing a review ... I decided I should mostly because they highlight their relocation services; which was the assistance we needed as we moved to Texas from the Pacific Northwest.For the record, we worked with Eric Pugatch. The summary of my review is that for the commission they received, very little was actually done; and so if you are looking for assistance with your relocation, I would interview more agents and make sure they are willing to provide the help you want.What went wrong - After looking at a few options on the market (spent about 3 hours with Eric exploring the area), we decided on a new build. I made the mistake of listing Eric as our agent (allowing him to receive a commission) based on he did mention the community in passing and I had high expectations that he would be helping us with our temporary rental that we needed while we waited for our house to be completed. (This was our 3rd new build and so we were accustomed to working directly with the builder.) Eric gave every impression initially that he would be assisting with the rental process. Other than setting up a couple of MLM listing links, no other help was provided. When we asked for help with utilities, we were told to work with the property owners agent. When we asked him to take a look at the rental lease, Eric responded its just a standard document. When we asked him to check out the rental in person (again, we were in the PNW) before we signed the lease and loaded up the truck, he (kindly) stated, thats not something I specialize in. This unfortunately was a huge disappointment, as the rental had many things wrong; a number of which could have been corrected before we arrived (like the infestation of wasps). Every ask (before we made the move) never seemed to result in getting what we needed.This may be a cultural thing by state, but in the past we have always received a housewarming gift from our realtors at the end of the process. To not receive acknowledgement after considering the fact that Eric maybe spent 8 hours on us as clients and received commission on approx. $750k ... its just frustrating.

As a first time homebuyer, having a good ally and advocate in a realtor was critical to succeed. I had been looking casually on my own for a year, and finally decided to connect with Mark and Patrick. We had a good connection and he had a good knowledge of the market and things to look for. He was not a pressuring person, and had a good eye for the things you want checked in buying a home (AC unit, drainage, roof, etc.)After a year of searching on my own, it was about 2 months from first meeting to handing over keys to my perfect home. They were responsive, responsible, and prepared for all steps in the process. Also received a good referral from realtor for some contractors on housework. Contractors did solid work, but you will need to negotiate your own prices with them.The biggest thing that I think Patrick helped me on is saving me from myself. I thought I was going to have to move out to the boonies for what I wanted, and Patrick did an excellent job of keeping an eye out for what I wanted, but closer in. Not only that, we found something cheaper than what I was expecting to pay. Without his excellent guidance and eye for the market I wouldnt be as happy as I am.My only concern about the process was that I might have overpaid on the home in question, and could have had better guidance on a lower counter offer. It was a multiple offer situation within 24 hours which is a very hard thing to judge, and ultimately I got the home I wanted so thats the ultimate win. As a counterpoint, when the inspection came back he was able to knock off thousands from the offer, so it worked out well.No problem recommending them, and will likely use their services when its time to upgrade in a decade or so.

So... I got tired of paying rent and plan on staying in Austin for the foreseeable future. My mom was visiting, so we decided to house shop. Of course went to yelp and found the person with the best reviews... That led me here. Initially Mark helped us get started then it was off to Pat Scott.Being a first time home-buyer, I knew I had my hands full. Long story short, it is around 40 days later and I closed on the house today. Pat was exceedingly helpful and let me pester him with tons of random questions.
