The nicest my nails have ever looked! My cousin and our friend went for my cousin’s bachelorette trip to get our nails done and they all look gorgeous and could sit us together while we had some red wine.

I’ve never written a review before but I just had too. I came here almost a year ago for the first time and I liked them! They were thin and nice. Then a couple weeks ago I came again and it just wasn’t the same. My nails were , looked extra thick and super bulky. The lady who did them got offended and I didn’t say much. This time, my last time going there the lady was sweet but she did not listen to what mattered. I told her I liked them thin and she didn’t listen, after filling them my nails were very dirty of course so I asked if I could wash my hands before she applied the cuticle oil and she said yes but then proceeded to add the cuticle while my hand were dirty. In the picture my nails look super dry.

Love this place! I’ve been a customer since the old location and they just keep getting better. If you talk to them and be precise on what you want and don’t act scary to speak up when they not doing something how you want it there should be No problems at all I promise ‼️😂 Tracy N did my nails for valentines which are the blue ones😍 And ima add my birthday nails someone did last month at this shop, it was a guy I didn’t get his name tho😢.

I gotta say I was supremely impressed with the staff & lay out of Great Nails 💅. I loved the complimentary frozen strawberry daquieri. My feet are looking sweet rocking the Patriotic Pedi. Will be go back most definitely. ❤

Over priced. The lady did a horrible job on my nails. She tried to tell me I have a crooked nail instead of filing the right side down. I got no massage on my hands. Never coming back again. I’d give it negative stars if I could.

I cant tell you how bad my manicure and pedicure were and how unsanitary the process was. I honestly cannot believe all the positive reviews. My technician took out tools that looked used and they had not been in any sort of alcohol. The tub was not lined as I find at almost every other salon, even the cheapest. After he used the tool to remove skin from my feet, he threw it into the tub to clean it off and then put it back in his station for re-use. I came in with a dip manicure and pedicure that were still in near perfect condition but my nails had grown out, so I asked for a gel mani/pedi rather than another dip. My nails were in great condition and quite long (for me). The technician ground off the polish without softening it. I didnt realize how terrible the damage was until I looked at my fingernails and I could see dark pink splotches from the blood behind my nail bed. The guy had literally ground my nails so badly that he had to cut off nearly 1/4 because they were so thin. Because he was so inexperienced using the grinding tool, not only are my nails extremely thin all the way down to my cuticles, the surface is very wavy. They look completely ridiculous after being painted. As they grow out, Im sure theyre going to essentially bend and break until theyve fully grown out. I got the manicure on Sunday and today is Thursday, and two of my nails have already broken off at the tip of my finger because they were so thin. Ive never had a nail technician destroy my nails so completely. My toenails were not ground down as badly but theyre also wavy and the polish looks like it was done by a 10 year old. Its super thick and he had accidentally painted over my cuticles on the sides of my toes by about 1/8, and they started to hurt so badly that I tried to remove just that part and the whole gel polish came off that toe. Seriously, the worst manicure and pedicure Ive ever had.

This location is top notch and they have exceptional customer service. They greet you properly when you come in, youre offered an adult beverage of your choice, and the venue is constantly cleaned well.

I arrive there with no appointment and the waiting time wasnt too much and It was my first time coming . The lazy who did my pedicure she took her time and I never felt so relaxed . Get the lavender pedicure it’s the best in my opinion 💜

This is my new regular place! Good prices and lovely atmosphere, I had the Deluxe Pedicure ($40) which includes an awesome foot massage and spa treatment with complimentary wine! Love it! I walked in without an appointment on a Sunday afternoon and was seated within 10mins.

I went to get an acrylic fill with gel polish for the first time here. I’ve never had an issue with gel. There were bubbles on some nails, and not even 24 hours pass- my nails were all chipped. I went back the next day and showed the nail tech. He re-painted them-no charge (of course). But, I thought maybe the polish was faulty, so I asked to change it, but he said he’d charge(didn’t think that was fair).The next day the same issue occurred. I called and they said they could re-paint again only with the same polish. Just frustrating.

When I walked in they were extremely busy so I knew right off the bat that it was going to be a long wait. I asked them how long was the wait for powder on natural nail, he said 20-15 min. Not bad right? Then 45 min goes by, which I don’t mind but I wish they told me because I’m pregnant and was really hungry and would’ve gotten a small snack while waiting. They also offer drink, like wine, water, margaritas, and soda but my tech never offered me even tho the two girls next to me hit beverages. Overall the nails came out good but the service could have been better.

This place has a busy but friendly atmosphere and offers complimentary drinks. My girlfriend and I stopped by on a rainy day last weekend and had a blast. It can get pretty busy so if you are looking for a quick experience, call ahead and schedule.

Per usual once you find a person who understands what you like it’s great, and I’ve found my person. With that said I have had several nail technicians and have never been disappointed. Only time I e been disappointed was because of the nail polish which came off in a single piece which is super strange. The new location had a luxury upgrade with regards to decor, it clean even with COVID, they in force the make mandate (sort of) people ware not told to cover their nose and mouth. The only thing they didn’t get quite right with the remodel is every surface is hard so it gets quite loud at times. Makes me really wish they would ask people not to take calls on speaker phone, I find it rude in general, but it’s already loud. The loudness and lack of timeliness is why I dropped the rating. I almost always make an appointment and they are NEVER on time. Today my appointment was at 4pm and my technician didn’t get to me until 4:40. If they tell you 15 minute wait be prepared to double it. I’ve seen other reviews happy about they never turn anyone away but they also don’t give real time estimates which can be frustrating when you have other plans.

Person who did my manicure was texting the entire time. Just stopped doing the manicure to be on the phone throughout the manicure. Not just once for a quick text, THE ENTIRE TIME. Very unprofessional. Did not do the completed manicure and was very rude and in an obvious hurry to get me out of the salon even though the shop didnt close for another hour and a half. Funny thing is if they werent texting and on the phone, they could have shaved several minutes off the time. Managers walked by and saw them texting and said nothing so this must be common practice. Dirty wine glasses and trash at the nail bar. Will not be returning to this business. Have had decent experiences before with other technicians and am usually satisfied with a quick no frills operation, but this was just a very poor experience.

BEWARE..BEWARE..BEWARE..I told them i didnt want to go over 40 dallars he said ok and started on my nails. When i was done i went to pay for my daughters nail my nails and a pedicure. The cashier said it was 124. The next day i checked my bank and they charged me 240 dollars. Ive been there numerous times and have gotten diamonds on my nails and have never paid 240 dollars for anything. When i called they told me that the nail tech told me how much it was but that was a lie i would of never paid that much. They just lost 3 consistant customers. WHAT HAPPEN TO CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!!!! Just cuz covid is making them lose money they should not take it out on the customer. I dont do bad reviews but when its needed i will tell the truth.

This place was horrible. Poor service and my eyebrows were messed up. I spent $72 for sub standard service. The woman was very rough on my feet and legs...Im visiting from California and totally disgusted. Dont go here unless you enjoy throwing money away...

I love this place. The last time i was in here a woman threw a giant fit over her daughters nails and the staff handled it with grace. The woman caused a giant scene and had some of the worst behavior i have ever seen from an adult and the staff simply attempted to appease her. Sometimes when it is busy they do rush and I have had one questionable nail paint job while the technician was on the phone during my service. Overall i enjoy this place.

Between the previous and current location, I’ve been to this place about a dozen times. Their current location is beautiful, clean and spacious. It seriously has the right atmosphere to relax and feel pampered. Even my boyfriend and his brother enjoy joining me for the occasional pedicure.I’ve always received friendly and professional service. I normally only do gel-nails so I can’t speak for acrylic work, but for me the quality is usually 10/10 — there’s been a couple of isolated times where the job was maybe 8/10 — However, I’ve never felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth and I know that’s only happened at times when they are VERY VERY busy (they don’t seem to turn anyone away even when everyone’s busy or it’s near closing time)All in all, I’ll definitely continue to visit and I easily recommend this spot

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this location! I went in for a pedicure, it was my first one since pre-covid so I was still feeling a bit nervous, but I felt more at ease when I realized masks are still required, hand sanitizer was available in multiple spots of the salon & they were encouraging distance between customers. The nail tech that helped me was so very kind & gentle, her name was Mindy. Also, this location offers more than just the typical wine & water options that other salons offer; they offer frozen drinks, I thought that was pretty cool. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit here.

I came here and the lady was trying to push me into getting services I already told her I didn’t want. If I said I don’t want gel then got dang it that’s what I mean! Then she act like I was going to walk out on here because I wanted to sit a little long to let my toes dry . She keeps walking pass me .

Not impressed at all. Tried them a few times, and didnt get the best results. Tried to transition from dip powder nails to gel and was charged extra for nails that lasted less than 3 days. Not returning here, even when location is convenient, meaning real close to me.

I’ve been to this place twice. The second is my last one. Every time I visited the staff made me feel like if they were doing me a favor for doing my nails, as a result, their customer service is poor. The staff hurry you and talk to you like if you are a child: they are always in a hurry. This second time the guy that assisted me left me with horrible nails bumpy, not filed nicely(sharply), uneven shapes, and the shellac horribly applied. When I said I did not like how sharp the ends felt they all got upset. He did a mini fix and was expecting for me to be happy with it. This was the last time I will bring my business to them. I feel like i am doing them a favor for favoring their nails salon the least they can do is provide good service.They need to step up their game with customer service and patience. Below is a picture of my nails after 10 min of leaving the place. The application of shellac was horrible and the nails feel so bumpy.

I really want to like this place considering it’s so close to me.. but they’re services just aren’t of quality. Polish brands are so cheap, quality of work is all over the place. I’ve had more bad experiences than good. You’re better off finding another place up north for the same prices you pay here.

I called to make an appointment for my friend and I and when I get there they gentlemen said if I could wait 20 mins and for my friend it will be 40 mins - we stayed and waited; an hour later we still where not called so we left. Even with appoints made we still had to wait and left with nothing.

Idk why all the ratings are so bad, the people here are so kind and so nice, you make friends with them very easily. You can tell they love there job. The nails you get depend on the person that does them. Some are better then others that’s just how it works. I have gotten some nails done here that I didn’t like and all I have to do it ask if they can do them again and they don’t complain.

Everyone is super nice but definitely not “great” not super clean, definitely didn’t open the tools from the package in front of me. I came for SNS removal which was fine but then got regular polish and it was barely better than what I’d do myself at home because the woman doing my nails was so rushed. Unevenly filed nails, lumps in the polish from random stuff seem like they should not be an issue for any mani.

While the salon is beautiful and delivers a decent gel mani/pedi, the service oftentimes feels impersonal and rushed. Go during off-peak hours!

Very disappointed in todays experience. My daughter and I came in early to get multiple jobs done early. Overall the nail techs were professional and efficient, but when it was time to get my eyelash extensions it just went down hill. I asked for a specific lash tech Im advance but she was too busy so I settled for who was available. .shouldnt of done that. It took her 2 hours to do a very poor job. Not getting eyelash extensions for here In the future.

The lady beforehand asked if I wanted them shaped or cleaned I told her just cleaned after about 6 minutes of her waxing she gives me the mirror and I have thin arched eyebrows. Like why are you going to ask and clarify if your still going to do what you want

I was charged extra for removing gel polish. Service was slow, toe nail was not shaped properly and polish was sloppy.

I went one time and got my nails done and my finger got infected I thought it was just me being sensitive so went back again recently and it happened again. They do really pretty nails they just are not clean!!

I went here on on 1.20.20 and was talked into the lavender pedicure despite asking for the deluxe pedicure. My chair did not fully work. The percussion feature didnt work. The guy who did my pedicure was really rough. The massages hurt. I ended up with a small bruise on my left leg. He went crazy with the grater and the pumice stone. My feet are really rough on the edges and sides now. I will not go back.

Horrible place to go, nail tech didnt wear gloves and her finger nails were digging into my fingers and toes when she was doing them. Didnt remove all the black polish off my toes therefore you can see the old polish thru my white tip that she did which is already coming off 6 hours after I left

I got SNS on Friday and by Tuesday of the next week my nails were chipping. They agreed to fix and I let them but I hate that I had to spend another evening in the nail shop for something that should have been done right the first time. And they acted like I was not a priority when I went back. Also they leave a lot of space without polish and Tuesday it looked like I needed a fill and it hadn’t even been a week. The man said “your nails grow fast” but it was just the way they were done. I won’t be back. I am use to SNS not needing to be redone until 3 weeks later. That’s the whole purpose of paying so much for it.

I usually get my nails done with Rossy she’s is great at her job, but unfortunately I went today and the person who did my nails not only was his area dirty and also his equipment. But the worst he did not wear gloves. He or she was on his phone the whole time and I’m just sad to give a bad review but right when I got home one of my nails broke. And I don’t mind paying 50$ or more on my nails but this time I’m just not happy.

I stopped coming to this place over a year ago because of how I was treated. I was coming for a pedicure after work. They called me over to the chair, i sat down and had waited for almost an hour before getting any service. There were 2 male employees there and they were very rude and pointing at me and then talking in their native language. There were two other customers who just arrived there of a different culture and the men were very adamant in asking them if they wanted any water or anything to drink, and I had to speak up and tell them that I wanted something to drink too after being there an hour waiting with my feet over soaking in the tub. There was no apology from anyone there for the wait. Another female tech finally came and gave me the pedicure... but I felt like no one cared about me as a customer and vowed never to come to Great Nails EVER AGAIN. I have actually taken my business to Regal Nails and they are a lot better, more professional, have great prompt customer service, and their prices are very reasonable... so your loss of my business is their gain...

I’ve been going here every two weeks for about two years now. As getting my nails is my one self-luxury I consistently keep up with, I’m very picky about them being done to an excellent standard.This nail spa is always very clean, nearly all of the staff is >80% English-fluent, they’re all friendly and genuinely care about the level of service they’re providing you. They also have later hours than a lot of the surrounding places which is nice when you work 8-5 M-F!Not every nail spa is equal - nor is every nail technician. I’ve learned over time that Lily, the owner and his wife, and a few others are worth waiting for when they’re busy. Some are not. Fortunately they’ve got ~18 nail techs so it’s not hard to find one you connect with!And they’re going to be opening up a bigger location nearby soon - and I’ll be following them. ❤️

I usually have an OK experience...not above and beyond. Today I came in because I thought my nails were long enough to look OK and asked for dipping powder. She cut my nails so short and started putting fake nails on. I told her thats not what I wanted and now my nails were so short I can feel the sensity of the nail bed. It made me uncomfortable that she didnt take accountability for the mistake....she said she needed to even them out anyway (lame excuse). My nails look awful and for $40 she couldve at least cleaned up cuticles

Super job on both my pedicure and my shellac Manicure! Their service was as good as any Ive gotten at any walk-in shop.Both Mindy and Lynn were friendly and attentive. Plus, they are open til 6 on Sundays. I was there late and they kept taking customers even though they were closed.

TL;DR: Im a patient and understanding person, but making me wait in a chair for 20 minutes (with my feet in lukewarm water) without being acknowledged, offered the menu of services, or even a drink is unacceptable.I went here on a Friday afternoon. I expected it to be busy so I was prepared to have to wait a bit. The receptionist didnt even look up when she asked what service I wanted. I told her that Id like a pedicure, and she instructed me to sit in a pedicure chair next to a technician who was working on another client. Had I known Id be sitting there for 20-25 minutes, I wouldve gotten a book or warning out of my car. An older lady finally came over and I told her I had gel polish on my toes. For the next 25 minutes she removed the polish, trimmed my nails and cuticles, but not once did she talk to me. Nobody ever came by to give me a menu of the services or anything. I decided that I no longer wanted a pedicure there so before she began the next thing, I told her I didnt want a pedicure anymore, but Id pay for the polish remove. She needed someone to translate what I said so it turned into a scene of me loudly talking to a technician across from me so she could here me.I watch the news and the last thing I wanted was to end up on the 6 oclock news (Google Red Apple nail salon if you dont know what Im talking about). I was more than happy to pay for the services that were performed i.e. polish removal and even her trimming my toenails and cuticles. I figured it would be $10 or $12 at the most, but the woman who called me out wanted to charge me $27 which is the price of a basic pedicure. I told her that I didnt receive the full service so I wasnt going to pay the full price. Mind you, I hadnt even seen a list of services and prices so I asked for them to bring one so that I could verify. She then tried to charge me $20, and I told her that was not right. I finally negotiated $17 because, again, I wasnt trying to end up on the news. Also, I paid with a debit card and the lady shuffled off before even asking if I wanted a receipt. I did want a receipt so she had to come back and print me one.I will say this, the other clients seemed pleased as their technicians offered them drinks, service menus, and engaged them in conversation. Im not from Austin so I dont have to worry about ever going back there, but I felt it necessary to warn people.

This place double waxed my wifes eyebrows resulting in peeling off her skin. Not certain if everyone is certified to work here but this is unacceptable.

I went in to get a Manicure and was very pleased with the outcome. I booked an appointment because I figured any nail salon would be busy on Friday. I was seated immediately and the nail technician was very focused and attentive to what I wanted. This is probably my 4th time visiting the establishment and I always leave happy. Thanks Tracy!

Even having glitter added to my nails. The lady really took her time and the nail polish was fully covered to the edge.Really recommend this location to anyone. The staff/tech are very professional. Just...... No. I went in and was yelled at across the room what I wanted. How awkward. No wait time. No telling me someone would be with me. Eventually a lady comes and I tell her what I want done as she placed me in a small room that already has someone in it getting waxed! Double awkward. I ask her to do my sideburns, and she has to get coached through it by the person next to her. I want a copy of her license.She uses two strips. No tweezers. She doesnt offer to show me her work so I find a mirror in the dark room to look at it. Its generally fine.... In the dark! Outside its clear that there are various hairs that needed to be removed. I wouldve gone back in but I dont trust the work already.Finally, at pay time, she charges me $15!!!! I ask for a brochure, which she is hesitant to give me or doesnt understand what Im asking for. It says its $9 on there. I will be calling the manager and my credit card company.

Never new getting my manicure done would be so relaxing! Call in to set up a appointment before coming in. When I arrived, I was seated right away. The nail tech working on me was amazing! She did everything flawlessly and made sure I was comfortable. My nails were even and perfect by the time she was done. It was just a amazing experience!

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was jam packed! The wait was only maybe 5-10 minutes. The service and paint job for my pedicure were great. Prices were average ($26 for classic spa pedicure). There is a good color selection but a lot of them seemed old, had been added with nail polish thinner.

This place is awesome!!! I had solar overlay when I got there and I am always worried about the removal (Ive had a few bad experiences and this set was 3mos old) but when I got there I was greeted immediately and told Id be in good hands had to wait a bit it was packed! I chose to go with the sns for the first time so that meant removal at a new salon but the gentleman who took care of me was FANTASTIC and WELL WORTH THE WAIT he drilled as little as possible and was very meticulous and detailed with his work to the end! My nails feel great and look amazing! LOVE THIS PLACE!

I hate to give this establishment a poor rating because of a disgruntled employee, but this is the first time Ive experienced anything like this and it didnt sit well with me. The employee got upset when I scraped the nail polish after burning my finger in the nail dryer. Im sorry my brain sends a signal to my body to react when it feels pain. After that she rushed through painting my nails, crossed her arms every time I had to place my hand in the dryer and constantly made angry facial expressions. Not to mention aggressively yanking on my fingers through the rest of the process!! She treated me as if I was wasting her time. Plus Ive had my nails done pretty often over the past 10 years. I know how the process works and she definitely skipped a few steps. She was done after the last coat of shellac. Nope, nope and nope.

Great first experiences at Great Nails today! They almost had everything that i needed and expected from a nail salon. Friendly staffs that knew a lot of designs, great color choices, very clean (everything is sanitized or new for each customer), great decor and nice atmosphere. Price was reasonable for high quality products they used on me. I will definitely come back before heading back to my hometown. Highly recommended!

I loved my experience here today! It was my first time in the shop and everyone was so friendly. The customer service was off the charts! I def found a new shop to get my services. The pedicure set up was great, very sanitary and they use linings for the pedi tub! Keep up the great work!

After 3 times of receiving mediocre or poor service Ive decided to stop using this salon. Its been a part of my beauty routine for 4 years now and lately my coworkers who also frequent this place (since its so conveniently located near the hospital) have sought out other salons. I wanted to stay loyal but this is yet another time my nails look poor when I leave. The poor service has been consistent. My gel is matte appearing and bubbling. I tried different gel brands but its the tech who is failing to do a good job. 2 weeks ago I came in and did a Kiara sky color and it peeled off within 4 days. Today she didnt bother to remove the gel entirely and instead filed down my nail to get it to come off. I dont mind sitting in the foil to remove it easier but I felt very rushed. My nails have bubbles and my cuticles are also covered in the gel. Looks like my kiddo painted my nails. Worst thing is I feel duped: color changes are 17$, I was charged 20$. Im going to have to agree with my coworkers and find another place. I want to use my hard earned money is for excellent services which Great nails can no longer provide.

MINDY for pedicures and LILY for manicures.Firstly, these two gals are amazing and well sought-after so I recommend calling ahead of time to book an appointment!MINDY is the sweetest lady with the strongest hands in the world, so when I go to see her, I’m all about relaxation. I’m not in a hurry and I book extra time for massage! 9 times out of 10, she puts me to sleep. Detail oriented! **She doesn’t speak fluent English so it helps to ask Lily to translate any extra requests or changes.(PSA— don’t do the thing where you raise your voice at the women and men that work here that don’t speak fluent English. Be polite and ask someone to help translate for you. AJ and Rosie are the owners and are always there to help— just ask. And remember, these folks know 1.5 languages— that’s .5 more than you know!!)LILY— adorable and funny and can accommodate almost any request! She’s young and knows all about the newest nail trends available. She’s patient and pays particular attention to detail! She’s an absolute delight!

I use to love this place, but lately the service has been so bad. They do not know how to keep appointments. They argue with each other, and when you try to question something they start speaking even louder to speak over you.

Update 2021-The new salon in same center is a beautiful place and the large space is very comfortable. Recommend highly!I have been going to this salon since it opened, about 10 years ago. I have tried others and they dont measure up to the speed of getting me in a chair and their expertise. I have only a couple of people I use, tip them very, very well, ask for them by name each time and I NEVER have to wait long when I walk in the door. Never have set an appointment because they do not work well like that. This is a busy, busy salon and they have sufficient staff to handle most busy times.

Excellent attentive staff. Quality consistent work. Good massage chairs. Not a lot of turnover here so youre likely to see the same faces every time you visit.

The work done here is not bad, its the service. They dont have enough stations for one. There is always a wait, even when you make an appointment and the service takes longer than it should. 1.5 hours for a manicure is just too long.
