This was the first time I have ever felt validated by a medical provider. Bria Carey was absolutely phenomenal. She genuinely listened to everything I said, and explained everything to me in depth. She helped me realize why I do certain things, and completely reassured me that I should not be ashamed about my disorder. She also presented me with multiple different treatment options without pushing any of them on me. She allowed me to lead and was supportive of my decisions, as well as seemed genuinely interested in following up with me on how Im doing. I cannot recommend this NP enough. Thank you Bria!

Dr. Mary Greer is amazing! She is so sweet and attentive and really listened to me during my evaluation, and in every appointment with her since then. Having a psychiatrist that accepts insurance is also a big relief. The location is a little out of the way but they can do most things on video appointments which is really convenient.

This clinic is amazing!! I found the office staff to be very easy to work with, they were all very friendly & made me feel at ease. The billing office was patient with me & worked with my insurance for me. The doctors are super caring & they sent my medicine right over to the pharmacy ReNue & it was ready with-in minutes. Oh & the pharmacy applied a coupon that saved me $250.00 on the medication!!! I think everyone should use them!!

The absolute worst patient service that i have ever received in a medical environment. The front desk do not return your calls, messages, even when they ask you to use the “safe patient communication portal”. I had to drive all the way to their clinic just to talk to them. I was pay hundreds of dollars to be seen by the doctor there yet they were not doing their job in return. I came here excepting to be treated like a patient and instead i was treated as though i was at the VA. Even the VA treats their patients better! Furthermore, i was not paid by my employer for being on medical leave because of their lack of care towards documents that are sent to them. Literally the doctor called me and said she had left my documents on her desk for days! Terrible place and I would never recommend this place to anybody with any mental Heath issues, they will only increase them!!

Honestly I wish I never came here. When I couldn’t afford to go to my appointment, they charged me late fees and my missed co-pay after I lost my job. Now they are sending $120 dollars to collections for one missed appointment. During a pandemic. They are not looking to treat your mental health, just take your money. If you are seriously considering seeing a new psychiatrist, make sure they aren’t just there to collect the paycheck at the end of the day.

I was unable to pick up my prescription because the insurance needed additonal approval from doctor. While I understand the complaints about the office staff, my care with Diego has been utterly fantastic. I have spent YEARS trying to find the cocktail of meds that work best for me, and he gotten me there and has been extremely supportive and knowledgeable about my doses and medications. He is very kind and when I am feeling good he makes our appointments further apart so I am not paying constantly just to check in. He really cares about how I am doing and how my life changes come into play and affect my stress and anxiety. Again, I get the issues with the office staff, it is a us v them environment when trying to get through them, but Diego always makes sure I have what I need regardless of what the office staff is doing.

I read the terrible reviews about this place but decided to give it a go anyway. I was quoted a certain amount once over the phone then the same amount weeks before my appointment. The morning of my appointment (6 am) I get a message from the clinic saying I will owe triple what was erroneously quoted twice. The reception said she forgot the first number of the quote!! Mistakes happen of course but the carelessness of notifying me of what is owed hours before my appointment as well as quoting the wrong amount twice speaks volumes about this practice. In the end I am thankful. I will definitely seek treatment elsewhere and steer clear of the impending issues with this practice.

This place is terrible. There is very high turnover, for some reason. Im on my third PA now because my first two left (cant say that I blame them). If you are considering this place, keep looking. Youll avoid a lot of headaches. They are typically not ready for you at your appointment time. The most recent person I got dumped on when my last provider left is Teresa. Avoid her at all costs. She is new, doesnt seem to know what she is doing, has bad bedside manner, and to top it off, has one of those annoying, fake smile/laugh things that she does when youre talking to her. Shes also unapologetic if her time runs over with the patient before you and youre stuck waiting half an hour in the lobby while youre missing work at the same time.

This is the most disorganized medical office I have ever dealt with. Most recently they had me provide my updated insurance in May prior to my last appt, which I did, and at no point did anyone tell me that they didnt take my new insurance. It wasnt until I got an overdue bill the day of my next appt in August (mind you that I never received a bill before the overdue one at all) that I realized they billed my old insurance and when I called them about the issue they said they dont take my new insurance. So, to get my meds refilled, Ill now have to rack up another big bill today, in addition to the last one, during COVID when money is already tight. The attitude of the billing supervisor Hetal was that it wasnt their fault that they didnt see the new insurance, even though I provided it in the exact method they requested it, in advance of my last appt, and it was my responsibility to make sure they were on my insurance not theirs so I still owe the billing amount for last time and today. I love Jolly John, but I cant deal with her office anymore. TERRIBLE.

Please be advised if you visit this clinic, you will be met with many frustrations not only with the care providers but also the front office employees. I put care providers in quotes because they do not meet, in my opinion, the minimum requirements to be considered anyone who actually provides value in such a way that contributes to one’s well-being and care. It is unfortunate because after over 6 years of being a patient, their level of caring and understanding has dropped to abysmal levels. I have been, and can document, ways in which I have been treated like a nuisance/after-thought/criminal which are, generally speaking, out of the normal scope to describe a patient under the care of a physician. Yes, that may sound hyperbolic and over the top but I assure you it is not which is why I felt compelled to leave these comments.Im rooting for their success because they were once a great office and there are still some good people there. I have always liked Dr. Patel, and still do, but the evolution of their business practices and the punitive and arbitrary nature in how they handle their customers (I mean patients) leaves me with no other option but to find a new provider.

I have seen Ashley Brannon for the last 5 years (beginning at age 15) to work through depression and anxiety symptoms and I can not give enough praise to this clinic and Ashley specifically as a provider. Many practitioners can be dismissive of adolescents or can appear as aloof or insensitive- Ashley is the opposite. She is warm, empathetic, she listens intently, and most importantly, I have always been informed, included, and in charge of my healing process and the changes in my medication or treatment plan. I have personally referred friends to this clinic, and I would encourage anyone who is looking for a mental health specialist to look here. The reviews of the front office staff are not my experience at this clinic, and honestly the quality of the care that I have received here over the last 5 years has been life changing. Ashley listens, works to really find the root of the issue rather than just trying the next pill, and she is so welcoming and easy to talk to about hard things. I sent in a refill request for a vital medication on March 29th and I still have not been able to receive that medication. The only reason why I am giving this office a 3 star rating is because of one of their doctors who works there has changed my life. Other than that, this office is the worst. They bill you for everything. If you’re late or miss an appointment, expect to be billed $60 immediately. There is never any availability, you WILL wait at least 10-15 minutes before someone rudely answers, and you will find that no time works for you either. They have inconvenient hours for those who work 8a-5p, and they are also very disorganized. I suffer from several mental disorders and man it is discouraging to try and get help only for bad service to stop you from getting the help you need.I will no longer be seeing the doctor I have been seeing because of their hours of operation as well as the ridiculous amount of time it takes to find someone who can help me.If you are considering working with this office, please see if you can find a better clinic. How can it not be a record if I saw the doctor the following day. Complete lie, I had to pay $60. I hope they use that $60 for their medical bills because it was so unfair for me to pay $60.Also in June I had an appointment for refill, but a week before that I had to do Angiogram, and I was given 4 new medication for my heat condition. My doctor recommended to stop taking other medication to make sure my body get used to new heart medication. Therefore I cancelled my refill appointment when I received an automated reminder. I didnt hesitate to communicate with him, and we were always able to work through our differences. His medication treatment plan was very helpful to my child. After he left, we started seeing Kara Cantu. We love her. She has been amazingly helpful with my daughter.Having been with this office for a long time, it is true - the office staff has not always been lovely. Getting someone on the phone has always been a challenge. For instance, today I was stuck in construction right near the office. I tried to call several times. It said they were at lunch until 2:00. It was several minutes past. I wanted to make sure they knew we were on our way. Just four minutes after my last call, we were walking in to the office. There were two patients already checked in and waiting. They opened the window for me, and the office was full of staff. Not one person on the phone. I can say that I have experienced this type of customer service the entire time weve been with APC. The joke around my house that the best way to get a human at this office is to push a button to get to billing (billing will always answer), and then just say, Whoops. I pushed the wrong button. Can I have the front desk, please? The office staff seems to have changed a lot in the last six to nine months. The people I interacted with today were all new to me, and all very kind. Id love to see more of them picking up a phone. I wish I could say my phone calls have always been returned over the years. I cant. Im hopeful that they are making changes for the better. Thus, the hopeful four stars. There are fewer and fewer psychiatrists who accept insurance. We drive an hour and forty minutes for these appointments. Because of the high demand, their office is always busy, and they dont really need to push for quality customer service on the front end. I can say that MOST of our interactions have ben positive. I can also say that you might experience some of the same things you read in these negative reviews from time to time, unless they are doing a full overhaul of their office staff.

Useful questions include:¶What kind of trainings have you done, and with whom?¶What professional associations do you belong to? (If you’re looking for a C.B.T. therapist, for instance, ask whether the therapist belongs to the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, where most top C.B.T. researchers are members.)¶What do you do to keep up on the research for treating my condition?¶How do you know that what you do in treatment works?¶Do you consider yourself and your approach eclectic? (Therapists who subscribe to an eclectic approach are less likely to adhere to evidence-based treatments.)¶What manuals do you use?¶What data can you show me about your own outcomes?“A clinician who can’t tell you how many patients get well isn’t going to care that much if you get well,” said Dr. Waller.- - - - - - - - - - - - -Wish I had asked ANY of these questions before seeing Kinoti! Kicked out without warning because of a few missed appointments which I called in before and warned them about. Just care about your money, not you as a patient.

Dr. Sweet is okay, but the office is run horribly. They dont answer the phone, dont return calls or emails, which makes it very difficult to get prescriptions refilled.

Getting a hold of anybody, no matter the urgency is a trial. The only time any department answered the phone directly was when I pressed the number for billing.
