Mr Maddox is a humble and respectful person. He is the person who has help build me into who I am today. I will forever be grateful for his mentorship, and for being such an important figure in my life. His school is full of amazing instructors and I highly recommend you check his academy out!

This is such an amazing academy with caring and enthusiastic instructors that really CARE about kids and their success. I cannot recommend them enough! They have flexible schedule to let you choose the days that work best and they knocked it out of the park during the pandemic to check in with kids and keep them engaged and active when things were uncertain and crazy. We have had an amazing experience and journey here!

My daughter has been going to Tiger-Rock for 3 years. She enjoys working with Mr. Maddox, Ms. Lucy, and the rest of the team. The team of instructors including the young instructors (red jacket) are outstanding. Last year, during the pandemic they switched to the virtual / zoom classes immediately. They were one of the first to go virtual. The Tiger-Rock team has an effective virtual curriculum too. Thank you, Mr. Maddox and team, for the outstanding job you and your team do every session.

My daughter and son have been attending Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Oak Hill for more than 3 years. We have been extremely happy not just with the taekwondo training but also the individual support/care that they have been receiving since the beginning. My son has been attending for years and I have noticed a change in his confidence and self control. He loves learning and growing on his TKD journey and I love the instructors and support he gets from everyone. This is a very safe environment and in these times of COVID-19 I was continually impressed that the staffs attention to protocol and ability to adapt quickly to the changing guidelines. Our son has been a member of Tiger-Rock for over 3 years now, and he enjoys every minute of it. The team at TR do such an amazing job of coaching and encouraging the students, and Ive seen my son grow in terms of discipline, expression, confidence and teamwork in every way. Mr Maddox and team make a great place for people all ages to learn martial arts, There are tournaments, defense combines and special events that teach the importance of stepping up and trying your best. But the most important thing is that Tiger Rock Oak Hill teaches is discipline and commitment and thats a great lesson for kids and adults alike.

My family has been part of the Tiger Rock at Oak Hill team for 6years. My children have enjoyed building their physical strength, their self esteem and building friendships with their peers at TROH. The patience and professionalism of all the instructors is unparalleled. My son is Special needs, I knew that in the future he might have self esteem issues. His therapists and doctors all said TKD would be the best for his physical strength. I was doubtful and afraid that it would back fire on me. After trying out different TKD schools (and my child leaving crying), we found Mr Maddox. Wow, his patience and love for his students sold me (and my child). Today, a kid that according to Drs would not be able to walk, is a brown belt. It hasn’t been easy, but he’s had the TR instructors and friends rooting for him, every step of the way. I can’t say enough good things about TR Oak Hill. If you want your child to be strong...physically, mentally and emotionally...give TR Oak Hill a try.

My daughter started at Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Oak Hill when she was four years old and she is currently twelve years old. She has gained confidence, strength, respect and leadership skills that will continue to guide her in adult hood. I joined two years ago and I continue to grow stronger physically and more confident in my ability to defend myself. I give high praise to Mr Maddox, Mrs Johnson and all the certified instructors for sharing their knowledge and teaching everyday people, like me, that I can workout hard and learn self defense skills at the same time . Mr. Maddox and Team are amazing!! My step son really enjoys going every week. We enjoy watching him grow with each belt and learning to be more focused and disciplined. I highly recommend this particular Tiger Rock in Oak Hill to anyone looking to get their kids into a TKD program. They also offer fun and active birthday parties, which my step son did last year and requested to do again this year! :) Check them out!

Great friendly staff, knowledge instructors, and very clean environment.

This is an excellent school with down to earth instructors that care about their students. The life skills they teach are priceless. I highly recommend this martial arts school for kids and adults.

My son is 4 and has been attending the Oak Hill Martial Arts since two months ago, I can not start saying the big change I have seen on him, He is shy, He is very distracted and he doesnt focus easily, as a 4 year old boy discipline its a big challenge at home, well since he started his Karate lessons he has improved in all those areas I mentioned before. I have never met more professional, talented, disciplined and experienced Tae Kwon Do instructors as on this Academy. I would totally recommended for everyone who would like to see great positive changes in their kids.

Mr. Maddox is super fun and very good with kids. My kids have been training with him for over 5 years, they love the classes and have learned a lot of life saving skills in TaeKwonDo. Highly recommend this place !!
