Aaron and Logan did a great job moving our furniture. They were very polite and helpful.Now that my job is complete I’d like to add that Kevin was a great project manager. He was extremely communicative about the work being done and when to expect people in our house. When something went wrong, he would step in to help immediately and get it taken care of.

We had Austin Hi-Tech give us an estimate for some roof and rafter damage for our insurance. They were prompt and professional and their price was very reasonable. We went with them to do the work and were very pleased with the result. The project manager assigned was very good with communication and setting expectations and the work crew was courteous and very efficient. They knocked out the work in a timely manner and left the job site clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them to others for work.

Update: I was refunded a portion of my money so I have increased the star rating for that portion of the company’s integrity. The fiasco still put us months out of our home, which was not necessary. Glad for them trying to make right on their mistakes though.I recommend looking elsewhere for restoration needs. Make sure to read the yelp reviews, as well. I have been working with Richard and Jeff since March and we have no progress on our home so far after major damage. Our experience has been the typical nightmare experience you hear about with contractors.1. They took a large amount of money and stopped working. They pushed for large amounts of money up front. When I gave them money, they completed a very small amount of work, the workmanship is terrible- stating they need more and more money. I don’t want to give more money to people that have not corrected their mistakes. Now, of course, they will not refund the money. We have a line by line contract so it is easy to calculate the amount of refund needed.2. They seem to have an issue working with women. They will listen to my husband. When I reach out to communicate, unless it is regarding payment, it is weeks before I hear back. My calls were never returned, yet somehow my husband can reach them the same day. Also, the specifics on the project that I requested were completely ignored. Jeff told my husband that he just assumed I “was confused” so did not do any of the things him and I discussed at a 2 hour meeting. I am not confused AND most women don’t have 2 hours to waste.3. And finally, the workmanship. If you don’t mind giving your money away or working with men that don’t care about a woman’s voice or opinions, then at least consider working with someone who will master the actual restoration of your home. We have sewage still all over our kitchen cabinets that has been sitting there since MARCH because they are so scared to remove the cabinet and break the counter on top. Let’s get to work people- if it breaks, we will deal with it. The walls are painted a shiny brown/yellow when I specifically requested a specific pure white. They have scratched up our expensive couch with doors and I find levels and tools on the leather couch frequently (or I did for the week they were actually there working).There is really so much more I could say, but I hope you seriously consider other options. Richard is convincing up front. Be wary.

Had a great experience with Austin Hi-Tech Restoration. Discovered water damage to my ceiling after a rain storm. Received recommendation from my insurance company and immediately a representative called to assess the damage and was given a quote.Soon after folks showed up to fixed the problem. That was not the great experience; the great experience was the individuals that did job had to move all of my furniture and wall art so they could paint almost entire house to match the fixed area. Workers took extra care with all of my stuff that nothing was broken. Supervisors were always swinging by to do inspections on work being done. Thumbs up for Austin Hi-Tech; waiting on my next project quote from them, sun room.

Great company to work with. Someone tried to kick in our back door and break in. The door frames badly cracked. Austin Hi-Tech Restoration came in and replaced everything. Service was fast and friendly. Work is high quality.

Glen was helpful with the insurance estimate. Jeff gave me great strategic advice on the choices we made during restoration. Carlos did some beautiful tile work. Upon completion my condo looked better than I ever imagined it could.

I rarely do reviews but I felt compelled this time. My journey with getting the hole in my garage ceiling plus a new garage door started with Glen who came to give me an estimate. Then Jeff was instrumental in helping me pick my garage door. Jeff scheduled the actual work be done by Carlos and Adan. They went above and beyond as far as I’m concerned. Austin Hi-Tech has been my contractor for a city sewage overflow which caused a fair amount of property damage. Ive been very pleased, in particular, with Brett Wells, the project mgr. who has always made himself available by phone or email, as needed. He clearly knows his stuff and has been most helpful to me throughout the reconstruction process - also very personable which is most appreciated when dealing with such an unexpected event!

Aaron and Biane were here today to assess the damage from a water leak. They were courteous and professional and even mopped my floor to leave it as clean as possible until the plumbing repairs can be completed. I appreciate how quickly and efficiently they worked to remove the damaged ceiling. I highly recommend Austin Hi-Tech Restoration again.

I was beyond impressed with Austin Hi-Tech Restoration. We had a huge job that needed to be done on a very tight timeframe and the folks at Austin Hi-Tech made it happen. After what initially appeared to be a small leak in my kitchen, Austin Hi-Tech realized it was more extensive and got the approval from my insurance company. Any issues I had were immediately addressed by my project manager Kevin Young and corrected. All of their employees were very respectful of my home and belongings. My entire downstairs looks brand new, including my 10 year old cabinets. Their primary contractor Luis did such a wonderful jo. That I hired him to do some additional work on the side

Aaron and Chase were so nice, prompt and great to work with. Really appreciate his patient explanation of the process and follow through on all scheduling. So far has made a stressful experience less streasful

I dont normally write reviews, but with all our recent experiences with contractors following storm damage, Andrew Bailey of Austin Hi-Tech Restorations and his team of contractors were so good it felt wrong not to.They took care of everything, roof and broken window replacement and concrete restraining/sealing and it was all completed on time, on budget and he kept us constantly updated on what was happening, when and why. He made the whole process seem effortless.So I highly recommend Austin Hi-Tech Restoration and especially Andrew Bailey our superintendent.

We’ve had a crazy year with problems & insurance claims when our water heater line broke & flooded our downstairs living area. They all did a fantastic job drying everything & moving all the furniture, removing & replacing all the wood floors & repairing & painting wall damage! They did such a great job we extended the work order & painted the majority of the house & retiled a bathroom. Nice to have it all done

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Joe, Jefferson, and their crew. We had some severe water damage to our laminate flooring and they were amazing to work with when getting it repaired. Joe was incredibly helpful when we were choosing new wood flooring. He was responsive, kind, and honest. Jefferson and his repair team were courteous and accommodating. Why I Like Austin Hi-Tech Restoration:- they actually came out same day of my water emergency. I called in at 4p when traffic boofs everyone in the bum. Aaron from Hi-Tech kept me updated on traffic/timing as he made his way. To expedite drying, he ended up containing the drying area using a Dexter-like room he created with plastic walls and complete with zipper door. Very impressive...necessary and a little bit creepy...the room, not Aaron who was super pleasant to talk.- all folks Ive thusly met have been knowledgeable, polite, respectful and just had sunny dispositions all around which can be hard given their entire business surrounds panicked people in emergencies- addressed my questions, of which I usually have many and deferred when it was out of their knowledge-jurisdiction- Chase from Hi-Tech pointed out ancillary items within my torn down wall to be aware of as a homeowner and even came Christmas Eve morning to check drying progress and remove equipment in time for me to leave town in time for the holidays.- came recommended by my plumber, Mark Rielly of Pure Plumbing, whose opinion I trust

We used them for an insurance claim to repair water damage in our house. The entire company was very efficiently run (everybody was aware of our project status and next steps). Jeff, our Project Manager, did an excellent job! He was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and really worked with us to get the project done right.

They did a phenomenal job on my home damage. I was very impressed with the work. There was a little miscommunication in the beginning but they resolved it and fixed it immediately and overall did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend them to others that I know to get work done in the future. True professionals!!!!

Unprofessional company, typical contractors who want to be paid upfront and then take your money and ghost. They took a large amount of money and stopped working. They pushed for large amounts of money up front. Then stated they needed more and more money without ever doing any work in our home. They disregarded the contact that was in place and refused to give a refund. I would suggest finding a different company to work for you, someone who is honestest and takes pride in their work.

They were an absolutely horrible company to deal with. They repaired water damage to my home through my insurance company and I did not have a choice on the contractor (15k). The work they did was very poor. You could see the tape and texture lines on the walls and the paint did not match. They also left a paint mess all over the rooms and furniture. They did not cover anything up although they said that they would. They dripped paint on my TV, curtains, floors, cabinets, desk and stereo speakers. They had to send another contractor to redo the work properly and then send a cleaning crew from another company to clean the electronics and the paint mess they had made. They were rude, slow and unapologetic. Then a few weeks afterwards, I was billed for a tarp my insurance company purchased to cover the roof shingles. They made an accounting error and refunded the money back to me and then hounded me for $300 every day for 1 week until I mailed them a check. Terrible company to work with.

Austin Hi-Tech went WAY above and beyond to make my situation as easy and painless as possible. I cannot recommend them enough! Having to get restoration work done after water damage is never a pleasant experience. But Austin Hi-Tech eased my stress and made it so much simpler.My insurance company erroneously removed Austin Hi-Tech as the contractor from my job without telling me, hiring anyone else, or making any movement toward getting my kitchen redone. James at Austin Hi-Tech was told not to contact me so my torn-up kitchen was sitting without work while my timeline was being pushed back without my knowledge. When James was alerted that I had NOT asked for them to be cancelled and was planning on them beginning their work, he not only helped me handle insurance but also got his guys into my house 5 days early!Andy was my project manager and worked overtime to fit me in since Id been taken off his schedule. He texted me pictures of what he was finding at Home Depot and set everything aside to get my job done. He helped me pick out the new tile and design for the kitchen and it looks INCREDIBLE!! In the end, Andy and his guys FINISHED the work on the day they were originally supposed to BEGIN the work. They redeemed the situation that insurance had messed up, and it was not their responsibility to do so.Their kindness, efficiency, knowledge, and professionalism speak for themselves, and I am so thankful they helped me get my kitchen redone!

These guys came immediately to start water mitigation. They were friendly, polite and professional. They even came to check on progress on a holiday. Damaged carpet and linoleum were removed from property. Highly recommended.

We recently noticed a water stain on one of our walls and quickly discovered that the problem was a lot bigger than we had imagined. We contacted Austin Hi-Tech on a recommendation, and they promptly sent a team out to tarp our roof and get drying fans on our walls. The team was very mindful of our home and worked with great efficiency to prevent further damage.One of their guys (Eddie, I think his name was) even came out on the weekend to check on our walls, and thanks to his sharp eye, we came to realize that problem wasnt with our roof but rather with a leaking water heater. He kindly shut off the water supply line to the tank, which was a big help until we could get a plumber out to the house. Everyone we interacted with from Austin Hi-Tech was courteous and professional, and we wouldnt hesitate to contact them again in an emergency.

I was horrified to find water damage in my home. I was referred to Austin Hi-Tech by a good friend of mine, and I cant thank her enough. Their professionalism and etiquette impressed me, but what I extremely appreciated was their customer service. Ive dealt with many contractors, and its always been difficult to get a hold of them. Not this time. All the follow-up appointments were scheduled promptly and Robert and his crew took good care of my house.

We recently bought a home at a great price due to the fact that there had been water damage from a flood that the previous owner (whom was elderly) had not been able to take care of. We had Glen and Marshall from Austin Hi-Tech come out and look at the house before we purchased, to assess the extent of the damage, as well as give us an estimate for how much it would cost to repair the damage, as well as make some upgrades to make it our own. This was our first home repair experience, and neither me nor my husband have much experience in this type of field, so the knowledge and guidance that Marshall and Glen offered was invaluable. It gave us the confidence we needed to purchase the home, even though the condition of the home (to our eyes) was extremely intimidating. Without Glen and Marshalls reassurances, we never would have bought this home, which would have been tragic, as we love the home, we love the neighborhood, and our kids are having a blast. Austin HI-Tech came in, told us what needed to be done, gave us ideas on how to improve the living space, and then did excellent work all around. We already have some new ideas on home improvements so we might be giving Austin Hi-Tech a call again soon.

Ive worked with Austin Hi-Tech on a couple of residential jobs now. The contents people are very efficient and friendly. I can tell they really care about taking care of the home-owners property.

So far these guys are terrible. Communication is horrible and Ive had to track them down every step of the way. The guy they sent out (Robert McKinney) told me on the initial visit that I didnt have water damage. It took our insurance company all of about 5 minutes to identify that I did indeed have water damage. He bad mouthed the insurance company on his return visit and then went dark for two solid weeks. No communication and a lack of professionalism. Steer clear of using this company.

I picked this contractor through Contractor Connection recommended by my insurance company because of a leaking shower. Since major repairs were required we decided to upgrade and things appeared to go well until everything was finished and we signed over the insurance check to them. However, a couple of months later a leak developed and they had been working on finding and stopping it for more than a year with only partial success. For the last few months, they have ignored repeated e-mails from me requesting that they fix the problem.

The professionalism and interaction with this company has been above par and to complete satisfaction. When a tragedy hits it cant be easy, but you can rely on the integrity of their personnel to see you through.

I called these guys for an estimate to complete a water restoration in my home after it got flooded. They showed up took measurements and said they would have it to me right away. The guy kept asking for my insurance agents contact information (I did not want them handling my claim for me) and I declined. Called them several days later and they said I would have it the next morning. Nothing....So I wasted several hours and took off work just to make this guys appointment time (which was not what their front office person told me) just so I could get absolutely no where. Thanks for the wasted time, my wife had a very important appointment that I declined to be present for so we could start getting our home in order.The guy they sent out apparently works very close with the insurance company (used to be a claims adjuster) and was very very pushy and even lied to my face and told me the insurance company would NOT work with you (this would be illegal) as far as you negotiating your own claim.I will be reporting these people to the home improvement commission and any other authorities I can.

Unfortunately I was assigned from my insurance company to this contractor, be careful! Im not a happy customer, the work performed by Austin Hi-Tech Restoration was poor on quality and it took longer than expected. I would not recommend Austin Hi-Tech Restoration.

Did not finished the job waited for weeks to start restoration and removed excess undamaged parts of my kitchen during the demo stage and that ending up costing more money to repair the damage from the fire. It deserve 0 stars for lack of professionalism.

Terrible experience! I have received threats and they try to remove my reviews in different social web sites but I will keep sharing my experience. Hopefully this review is useful for potential customers to avoid the issues that unfortunately I had when I was assigned from my insurance company to this contractor. They stated that I signed a completion certificate and I did it but that doesnt mean that I was happy with the job they performed, it is a requirement for the insurance company to release the final check and for them to finish working. They also said that I didnt pay them the last check the insurance company released but who pays a service when it is poor on quality and delivered 4 months late. Finally I made the decision to pay them in full the remaining US$3,272.24 so they cannot complain about this situation and their arguments lack of truthfulness. Im an unsatisfied customer and the purpose of this review is to make awareness about Austin Hi-Tech Restoration. The owner of this company is extremely rude and unprofessional.

We used to work for this company... i dnt know what was goin on with this project manager Kevin Young.. he owed us for jobs that we done and never got paid.. we also did a lot of extra work on jobs and was promised more money but never recieced it... there were also times were he had fired a company and had us to go and fix there mess ups and we get screwed on the pay... so a word to the wise.. dnt trust PROJECT MANAGER KEVIN YOUNG hes a low diwn dirty snake in the grass.... i dnt no avout the rest of the company we werent aloud to speak are go to the office
