God this is just the best place ever. Every aspect of my experience was perfect and unique. The inside of the store shone like the sun at noon and the staff were nothing short of saints and angels. Ive never seen a place so well-managed, and Im from Sweden!

My clothes are perfect every time. They always put clips on collars to ensure it remains perfectly pressed until you put it on. SUPER STAFF

I just used Rick’s for the second time for their dry cleaning services and had a great experience! They cleaned up my suit, tie and pocket square to perfection and in a timely manner. They did not contact me when my clothes were finished cleaning, which is why it’s not receiving 5-stars. Overall the service is fantastic, I highly recommend Rick’s to anybody who may need to get their dry clean only clothes cleaned to like new conditions!

Usually just have shirts to be laundered and pressed and they always come out clean and crisp. So far, no issues — not even a broken button.

Awesome pricing, (less than $20 for three skirt suits!!) and literally found some suits I had left over a year ago!!! Great customer service :)

Overall a very friendly service, with quick turnaround times and very cheap prices. All the clothes were properly cleaned, and they were helpful when I was verifying the chemicals used to clean.Two caveats:1. Double check your receipt after dropping off your clothes. They missed one of the two scarves I dropped off, and there was no record or remain of it when I picked them up the next day.2. My roommate dropped off some slacks, and a button was missing when the article was cleaned and returned.

CHEAPEST DRY CLEANERS IN TOWN! $2.99 for any article of clothing- they did my wool dress with embroidery all along the neckline for only $2.99... where I would have been charged extra for wool and the embroidery at other places. They do not stuff dress sleeves with paper like some other cleaners but who cares for this price.

The absolute best people and best price. I tried a couple of dry cleaners before and this is my favorite.Go and try them, the people make the difference.

Absolute garbage of a business, i dont think the people that work there can possibly get any dumber. Youd be better off washing your clothes in Town Lake and hanging them to dry

Called to ensure suit was done after 3pm when they said it would be finished. I was told they couldn’t find the ticket and that they would call me back. After a half hour I called again and was “put on hold to look for it” the girl working just set the phone down on the counter and helped other customers. I listened to every transaction she made for 15 minutes. Frustrated I drove down to the store and walked in still “on hold”. The girl sifted through the racks and magically found it. Never again.

I use Ricks Cleaners to dry clean my business clothes. As a college student, I try to save a buck whenever I can and you cant find a better deal than Ricks for your dry cleaning needs. Ive been to this location several times to dry clean my business clothes that I wear for career fairs, interviews, business presentations, and at work. Service is always good and the turnaround time is fantastic!

After posting this review, the owner got in touch with me. He explained that although he couldnt figure out how/why this could happen given their processes, he believed me and wanted to make it right. He met me in-person at this location, and asked me to try on the shirts for him. They were obviously very, very tight and he acknowledged that.He suggested a technique to slightly stretch the fabric to see if it gave me anymore breathing room, which he personally performed. The shirts went through this process, then he met me to see how much difference it made.It hadnt made a huge difference, but a little. He took measurements, and went back again to apply the same process, and met me again to see how they fit. They were all still too tight, but he then paid for me to take the shirts (3 of 4) that had enough fabric to be let out, to a tailor. He then went back and applied the technique again to the 4th shirt.The 3 tailored shirts, came out great and are again usable. The 4th shirt is still a little tight, but I told him it was fine, given how much he had done to meet me in the middle.In a perfect world: this wouldnt have happened, and the layers of communication within this company would have offered solutions before I posted review and it got to the owner.However, in an imperfect world, I have to say that I am incredibly impressed by how much this business owner went out of his way to try and make things right by me, even if he didnt have a good explanation of how/why his companys processes contributed to the problem.This business certainly has room to grow in how it handles things from the start, but at the heart of it all is a very human, compassionate, and agreeable owner.________________________________________________________________________I usually go to Zips, but have occasionally used Ricks when Im crunched for time since its closer to my house. The first few times at Ricks were fine. However, this last time convinced me to never use their services again, and to warn others.I dropped of 4 custom tailored shirts that I wore the week before (after they were dry cleaned at Zips) and they fit fine. When I got the shirts back from Ricks they had all shrunk to the point of being skin tight and unusable.I explained the situation to the people at the Lamar location, and they sent the shirts to the main office. They main office did an investigation and concluded that there was nothing about the dry cleaning process that would have done this, and nothing abnormal happened in the course of the cleaning.I agreed with them that nothing about a dry cleaning process (or maybe they laundered them by accident) should have done this, but it DID! I had worn these shirts the week before and they fit fine.I am now out $400 in custom shirts, with no compensation. I highly suggest you dont gamble your money or clothes on this business.

Was about to drop off clothes, but at end, I had to wait till 5 pm on Friday which I wish I can find closer to pick up at 3:30 to going Houston with nice iron. I gusse I have to wash and iron myself. I was hoping one of your staff can tell me where I can pick up but they do not know where. I was about to drop off at south austin.

Second and last time visiting this dry cleaner location. People working there are incompetent and Id be surprised if they werent on drugs. Arrived at 6:15pm knowing they close at 7pm. Three people in front of me and waited in line for 40 minutes. After spelling my name 5 times I took back my clothes knowing these idiots would lose them. Never again.

UPDATE: While originally two of my garments were not as clean as they would be ideally, Cynthia called me and offered a free redo. While one garment simply had an unfixable stain, the other was great after the second try. A+ customer service!

Very sub-par experience all around. Dropped my shirts off and was charged for the service up-front. The woman working the register informed me its because the owners want to keep their costs down. Hmm, ok.So I go to pick my clothes up a couple days later and the lady pulls them off the rack and gives them to me, only for me to notice the next day when i was getting ready for work that they forgot some of my shirts. So I had to make another trip back just to pick up the shirts that were forgotten the first time around. I told the staff member that was the first time using them and I didnt know if Id be coming back. She said ok. No apology for the inconvenience, nothing.They also broke a button off the collar on another of my shirts and didnt bother to fix it or even tell me. The quality of work is not worth the dollar and change you save. Pay a little more and save yourself the hassle instead. Go to Reids.

The people that serve are very racist, they made fun of me when I spoke Spanish and I don’t think that’s fair.
