Friendly staff and nice waiting area. Also, Krispy Kreme donut is right next door..so kinda convenient while waiting too. Very satisfied with both outside and interior work. Definitely will return.

Have visited this car wash over the last few years, even under previous owners. Service is good. Staff are friendly and responsive. Have a outside waiting area which works well during this pandemic.

The inside of my care was filthy. Not worth the $45 I spent Do not recommend unless you want your car to look horrible when you get in it

Worst car wash for $30. There was dust everywhere inside, when asked pretty non chalant about it. I am guessing they are used to the complaints. Never going back and recommend you don’t either.

Fast and thorough job!

TLDR: They basically had failed to ever actually clean my car, even after 3 visits and $149. My car now smells like mold, and it all greasy and oily inside and out.The very first time I had gone to Arbor, I had a great experience. They detailed my Camaro very well, and was very happy with it. A month later, I take my 4Runner in to get it detailed, and it was less than ideal. The interior looked like it was covered in, peanut oil and was still almost as dirty and dusty as it was before I had spent $149.So instead of being childish, I went back, and politely asked them to finish the job, and thankfully they “did.” Still wasn’t great, still oily and had lint and fibers all over the inside and out, but I gave it a pass.The next day I had gotten in my car, and realized it had smelled like mold even though I had followed their advice with leaving the windows down so the seats can dry. So I call back again, and they say they’ll re-shampoo the seats at no cost. I was happy that they were finally getting it done, even though it was the 3rd time around.Shocker to absolutely nobody, I go out to my car, after leaving the windows all the way down in the sun, the entire car still smelled horrible, and at this point, I’m done.After 3 attempts to clean my car, they did nothing but charge me $149 to throw some oil and water at it, and it’s even worse than it was before.I wouldn’t recommend any company that is not willing to stand up to their work, especially after being able to make it right multiple times.

I wanted my car detailed and the dealership has suspended wash service due to COVID-19 so my husband suggested this place as they had done good work on his vehicle in the past. I paid $129 for my car to be detailed. I watched the entire process from the window, including the guy getting into my car and driving it wrecklessly into the service bay. I showed restraint (now clearly in error) in not ending things at that point. They did a horrible job, leaving wax all over the exterior, left the interior streaked and greasy, and left one of their dirty rags in my backseat. My husband was upset because he recommended the place. I will not be back.

Just dont waste your money, I just got my car washed with a basic wash, only $16.95 but he suggested if I want the interior to be extra clean I add the $9.95 interior clean to it, and assuming they would do a good job tipped $7.00, all for nothing. It literally looks like they took 2 seconds to lightly, barely dust the dash and did a super fast light vacuum on the floors .. I couldve taken my car to some free vacuums and grabbed some car wipes and done a better job in less time than they did; I guess thats what Im going to have to do anyways, so I guess today I paid $34.00 to waste my time and do my own basic car cleaning. Just dont go here, I have gone to many car washes and never been this disappointed.

In one word: Overpriced. I got the interior thoroughly cleaned, exterior washed and waxed. The seats and mirrors were moved and not put back. The interior was not cleaned as advertised, clearly just a quick vacuum and wipe of materials. The exterior wax was not wiped clean enough leaving spots of haze. Yes the car was cleaner than when it started, and it has a shine, but way too expensive for the results.

I get my car washed here once in a while. They are pretty good- sometimes I show them missed spots, but not as much as other places. Fast and courteous.

Since I moved to Austin three years ago, I have only ever been to the Green Island Car Wash to have my car hand cleaned. Every time they have been courteous and have done a great job without any problems and most of the times were a short wait (granted, if you come on a weekend you most likely will have a longer wait). A few months ago I bought a new SUV and brought it to them recently to have a vacuum, wash, and a hand wax done. They did an amazing job on the wax and I was even more impressed when the manager (who did the hand wax himself) took a minute to explain what they did to my SUV. He also let me know that it had a four day rain check (which I did not know ,so that was a bonus to find out!) and if I saw any issues with the wax job to bring it back and let him know so he can fix it. Awesome! I will continue to bring my vehicles here to have them washed and will continue to recommend this place to everyone.

I rarely do full a maximum review, but while picking up my car yesterday, I was in such a hurry, I didnt check for some of my personal belongings I left in the car. Came back this morning to claim them. Kyle, the manager helped me out and got my belongings. I found the roadside bag in my wheel well. He helped me quickly and efficiently. He went above and beyond and over compensated for the mistake. Which was mostly my fault for being in a hurry to work and leaving items behind. Thank you Arbor! We are now committed to you for this excellent customer service.

I have used Green Island several times, and I am satisfied with their service. The staff is very friendly, and they provide free shuttle service so you do not have to wait. They are a bit pricey compared to others, but I am willing to pay more when I receive such excellent customer service.

First and last. Very disappointing... while the package included vacuuming and dusting the interior, they barely touched it. I had to do it myself again after the car wash.I will DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this place.

I usually wash my car myself but its been so hot, I thought Id have someone else wash it. Service was really slow. Saw them using what looked like a shop broom to wash my car. Car wasnt clean so when I got home to go over it again myself, thats when I noticed they had left swirls in my paint over most of the car. Very unhappy.

The staff was friendly and all but Im not gona lie im pretty disappointed. Overall the car was still pretty dirty. The package was to include a wheel cleaning also but it doesnt even look like theyve barely been touch. Also there was still water all over so its going to leave water marks. I understand they have to move quickly because there are lots of vehicles to get to but I guess I expected more.

1st visit and last - didn’t even look like they vacuumed nor wiped down the inside. Multi areas on outside where water dried and wasn’t wiped, including side mirrors and front windshield. I asked for a re-vacuum, was better second round but still not good. Not worth the extra cost.

They broke the plastic release handle that opens the door to the gas tank and vacuumed it out. They didnt say a word at the time, though its hard for me to imagine doing that without noticing. I discovered it a few days later and called the manager, Corky. He would not agree to pay the $13 to replace the part. He offered to give me a free basic car wash, but not sure why I would want to go to a place that does business like this ever again.

Ive been coming green island car wash for a couple years now. today received horrible service.my car was returned to me still dirty and not properly vacuum, and on top of all that they Broke my car key!! its an expensive key do to it being a Mercedes Benz. I spoke to Manager and he seem not to care one bit. I am very upset at the moment and will be at there location protesting!GREEN ISLAND CAR WASH MAKE THIS RIGHT AND FIX MY CAR KEY!

Ive been to different Arbor car wash before and was disappointed but this new one has excellent customer service. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the detailing they did for me after a drunk passenger threw up in my car.

The car washes are decently priced, but I cant say that my car has been sparking clean every time. They run your car throughout the machine, and then hand dry it and vacuum. Ive found myself still cleaning my car myself after paying them. So...Id say their service is hit-or-miss depending on the day you go.

Took a car detail service worth $230 with them yday and regret the decision like how. They broke the headlight switch on the dash and would not own up. kept asking me to prove that it was not broken to begin with. very disappointed, not to mention another $200 lighter for the repair of the whole light switch assembly. and frankly what was most appalling to me was the change in the managers tone and demeanor when i pointed out the problem, it bordered on the intimidating.... thoroughly disappointed. go to them at your own risk. and not at all surprised to see the last review by Jeff Beebe below... wish Id read it before and avoided this place.

They all have years of experience, we hold our work to high standards, get things done right, and quickly for your convenience. For a full service carwash were fairly priced and always have some sort of discount to be found.Come try us for yourself! We have 4 locations: Jollyville(main location near the Arboretum, usually pretty busy), Guadalupe(downtown), Pflugerville, and Research(next to Krispy Kreme, will soon be under construction)

Always nice and generally do a very thorough vacuum, wash, dry and wipe down. A little uneven on dash and interior but still always looks much better than when you went in. Typically takes and reasonable 20 min

Horrible!! I paid $80.00 for a car detail and due to employee overspray of product, my vehicles interior is now speckled and the dash is ruined to the point that it may have to be replaced. I am EXTREMELY UPSET. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!

I had a very big job when I came in, in the 4 years ive owned my car it has never had a professional cleaning, sure its had the vaccum here or there but that was about it. About a month ago I took it in and they worked their magic! My car (which happens to be totalled from hail damage from april 09) looked newer then when I bought it back in 2005! They did a great job and are fairly priced. Two down sides, 1) they estimated it would take 2 hours and it took almost 3, and my car was wet for about 2 days - but its more my fault then theirs for letting my car get that bad in the first place! Ive recommended this place to friends and family!!

They claim to use less water than regular car washes, but I couldnt tell the difference. You can wait in their lobby while the car is cleaned. The waiting room is boring as there is some generic channel and some old magazines are ask there is. You could go to the krispy Kreme donuts in front to pass some time. The wash itself was nothing special.

Absolutely abysmal. Portions of my vehicle werent vacuumed (see: entire trunk... and its a hatchback), but the worst part about this was a nerve-racking experience dealing with a side job of the car wash - a window repair shop pioneer auto glass (note: Id write a review about them, but alas - no business page. Their given address is a house in cedar park!) - These two businessman pulled a hard sale on me, initially due to a bad chip on my windshield. I had never been approached like that and since they called what I thought was a direct State Farm representative I obliged since it was free!!!!, but was still wary of the situation - after consulting with my personal insurance representative it turned out that the coverage that they said was on my Insurance wasnt actually there. I immediately canceled the claim they started, which **wouldve RAISED MY INSURANCE** according to my representative. Of course the various people at the car wash denied that. Needless to say I will never be going back there

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I went for the Island Crown service. Door jambs were left DIRTY, the rings of my cars logo in front and back were left DIRTY, the center cup holders were DIRTIER than when I came in, the windshield was wiped but left a dirty film. I actually went to the automatic carwash at the gas station the next day to finish the exterior.
