Niko was awesome and gave me a great haircut! First professional cut since before the pandemic and worth the wait. One of the best haircuts Ive ever had!

Inconcistent service I have been charged different prices for the same services. Have had one good haircut, one ok haircut and one bad. The bad cut seemed like guy was rushing to finish. I would go back if I could get the good barber but not otherwise. Overall I have had a mediocre experience with this shop.

Awesome cuts and didnt have a wait! Its a classic style barber shop with a cool vibe and attentive stylist. I was coming in from Houston and had a 15 minute window to get my sons hair cut before an event. Not only did they make it happen they did a awesome job! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I did find the pricing high for a boys haircut.

Cynthia did a great job on my sons cut and shave. She’s a pleasant young lady to talk to. He was very impressed with her talent and skills, he will definitely be returning to see her!

Im not sure about others experiences here, but in my experience this is one of my favorite places to get a haircut.Ive been having Taylor cut my hair for over two years. He cut it for my wedding and has been ever since. I enjoy visiting this Finleys and have had a good experience every time.Parking is located off Medical Parkway in the parking garage. Free on the weekends and validated during business hours.

Friendly staff, but often do the haircut to what looks best to them rather then how the customer wants it to look. i would always tell them not to cut up top and they would. the right side of my hair is far longer then my left and it is noticeable.

Dont ignore the reviews, I did and now I paid $40 for an uneven haircut I need to pay more to fix.Id give more stars for the environment but my barber did not once speak with me, did not understand initially what I was asking for (Which accounts for the haircut Im sure) and overall I feel this should be rated based on the cut itself. Which was bad.

I hate giving poor reviews, but this one is necessary.There is a reason this location has much lower reviews than most Finleys. Alexis started off my cut by declaring that she was already checked out due to her upcoming vacation and continued by telling me that she was tired because she was out dancing and drinking until 2am. Not what I want to hear from the person cutting my hair. She spent most of the rest of the cut complaining about various customers and making inappropriate comments about her co-workers and bosses.I could forgive the inappropriate conversation if the cut was good, but it wasnt. It was incredibly rushed, and she missed basic things like the hair around my ears. The top is also uneven. She was right, she was definitely checked out, and probably still hungover. Unfortunately that leads to poor haircuts. Given how rude she was, I opted to pay for my cut and leave immediately rather than test her patience with any complaints about the cut.Most Finleys are great, but I will not be returning to this location. If you do need to go here, Id recommend avoiding Alexis. Everyone else was very polite.

Waayyyyy better than Birds tbh. Angel took care of me and gave me an amazing haircut. Definitely going back here for future cuts. Highly recommend Angel!

One star for the coffee (which was 5 stars)...First: nobody here is friendly. Atmosphere alone puts you in a bad mood for a haircut. The service is very cold and transactional.All I can say is: good thing a haircut isnt permanent. Had to make corrections throughout the entire cut, and was told sorry, its still early. The fade was done very poorly, and at that point, its almost impossible to correct. So I was essentially S.O.L., gritting my teeth to say thank you, it looks fine and dreading paying $40 for something that is sub-sub-par. The haircut I got at Finleys today is the worst one Ive gotten since middle school, when listening to a lot of Eminem prompted me to shave my own head two minutes before catching the bus to school.Also, Finelys should not be allowed to brand themselves as a barber shop when they only have one barber. When you hear barber shop, you assume every employee has a barbers license. The rest went to cosmetology school and cant use a razor, so essentially everything I wanted done on my hair (shaved hard part, skin fade on the neck line) could not be done. Did not know this going in, because its not made clear.Ill spend $40 on a 12oz Lone Star before coming back here. Only reason I tried it out is because I used to go to The Grand, but their were too cool for appointments vibe got old & annoying. Looking forward to seeing the actual BARBERS at The Honest Barber Shop (who take reservations). Thats where Ill be going moving forward.

Given I visited this place on the second day after their opening, the service was very good. The customers are greeted and let to a waiting area until they can be catered to. The staff were nice and courteous.

I love finleys, but this location hasnt been great. Ive gone here two times now, and havent been satisfied with the haircut both times. Plus, its always empty, so I have a feeling that others feel the same way.

Chase was awesome! Took his time and made sure I was pleased with all aspects of my experience at Finleys. Great Barber!

UPDATE: On my 4th visit to this location I booked Taylor online for 3pm since Chase is out. I came in at 2:55 and was told Taylor was wrapping up a cut and would be with me shortly. I proceeded to sit and wait for 30 minutes, blowing through my entire haircut timeslot with not so much as an apology. The front desk gave me a $5 coupon and a “sorry for the inconvenience”...I should have been given a free cut for something like this. I will not be coming back here.Chase is still awesome and gives an awesome cut, I will come back if he comes back but won’t be coming back for anyone else.

Great haircuts at a fair price and even a shoulder massage.

Circled block looking for parking and then was told there was parking and I was exactly 15 minutes late, which meant I was out.Lessons learned: theres validated parking in the garage, a 15 minute late policy, but also a Finleys down the street that can also get you in.

I got the worst mens haircut of my life at the North Lamar Finleys. The girl literally finished my haircut by combing my hair forward then cutting a straight line across my forehead. Then they took my email and phone number and added me to their harassment list. Texting and emailing me trying to come get another garbage haircut. Dont waste your time with this place.

Other locations are much better, have tried 2 others
