Booked an appointment here and they canceled with less than an hour notice beforehand. I missed the call so drove all the way out to be turned away at the front door. Instead of working me in at their next available appointment, they merely offered a feeble apology and tried to book me for another day.I understand that issues arise, but when you inconvenience a paying customer there should be something done to make it right. I can say now that I won’t book another appointment at this location (and wouldn’t recommended anyone else either) until something is done to correct the wrong here. Very disappointed.

Chelsea is very sweet and gives people an excellent haircut. I highly recommend others to ask for this beautiful and considerate young lady when they need given haircare.

Would give it 3.5 stars but since there is no option giving it a 3. For the price they charge its definitely not worth it. They have few good stylist, service is good but for the price they charge you can get a better hair cut or beard style done at better places. Been there multiple times for haircut and beard.

Havent had a hair cut since Covid began (over a year shaving my own head) so this was my first proper hair cut in a while. It was one of the better hair cuts Ive ever received and the added services like the shampoo, neck shave, and massage made the experience great as well. My only gripe is that I valued the hair cut more than the other experience adders. I would have preferred to pay less for only a hair cut.

Ive had a hard time finding someone who understands the hair cut Im going for, Ive been to multiple salons but they just didnt get it. I tried Finleys because I thought maybe a barber shop would be better for short hair. Cynthia did not disappoint. She understood what I was asking for right away and executed it perfectly. Ive never had a shoulder massage with a haircut before, that was really nice. And the hot towel! The whole experience was great. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

The worst service, I made an appointment in person and when I arrived they said if I could move it, do not trust appointments. The customers time is of no value to them.

I have been going to this place for years since it is close to my house. I stopped due to Covid. I came back last month (March 2021). The place and the haircut were ok. However, now you need to provide your CC information to do an appointment regardless of how you make it. I do not want to give my CC information unnecessarily. I am not coming back. If you do not care about this requirement then the place is good.

Ive recently moved to the Austin area, and have been looking for a solid barber to match my very particular styling wants. I cant recommend Meridyn enough! The shampoo and massage is a very nice bonus to the experience as well.

Experience was excellent. Haircut/beard trim was very slightly uneven, but only noticeable by me, my wife thought it looked great. Chelsea was friendly, charismatic, and made great product recommendations. She was very gentle with washing, cutting, etc and never let the clippers pinch.

This was my first visit. Upon entering the lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming. She made made me feel right at home and showed me around to their waiting area where they offer complimentary water, soda, beer, wine, coffee, and I dont know what else.I showed up right before my appointment so I didnt hang out long, but went to meet my new barber/hair stylist. Definitely one of my top 2 favorites to ever cut my hair. Extremely articulate, he presented himself well and was very welcoming too.I am now a fan and they will be seeing me here again.Well worth the price of the cut!

I tried them once but never again. Worst barbershop in the world. I was 15 min late and they not only asked me to reschedule but also didnt gave my money back as they make you pay online and dont refund or change appointment time. They should be shut down for good of the people

I was a loyal customer for many years and loved my barber. One day when I came in for a haircut, I was told that my appointment was cancelled by the receptionist with no explanation as to how or why. Then I was told that I was basically just out of luck and to reschedule... Not really how I expected to be treated after many years, but I figured ok, Ill just shoot a message over to corporate on their website and let them know what happened.So I sent a message to Finleys corporate via their website, not even looking for anything in return, just acknowledgment that they messed up and maybe they might ask their receptionists to be a bit more careful in the future... But I never got any response. And thats why Im here now writing a 1 star review for a barbershop that I used to really like. I valued them and looked forward to my haircuts but they did not value me as a customer at all and chose to ignore me instead of owning up to their mistake.

Never done a beard trim before, but sometimes someone else needs to do it. Rather enjoyed going in, and leaving about 40 minutes after getting there. Not something Im going to be doing for every hair cut, but will find my way back over there.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The staff here was very friendly and genuine. I was greeted by name and told what to expect. Everyone was prompt and on time and I felt valued as a customer. . My barber, KJ, was very friendly and took great care of me. She clearly knows her stuff and it shows. I have always been somewhat dissatisfied with the way people trim my beard, but not this time. I am truly a satisfied customer and I will most definitely be back. Absolutely worth the money.

They only cut mens hair. However if youre a female who wants a mans hair cut e.g. a pixie then they do a fabulous job. I cut off about a foot of hair and got the cutest pixie.

They did great with my 1 year old! They did everything they could to be sure he was comfortable with the experience and even saved his first hair cut in a nice card and envelope. Just to get the most critical questions out of the way first: Its not cheap and not likely to have an opening if you walk in without an appointment.My experience with Finleys has always been wonderful and it seems to get better with every visit. I think Carolina is just a couple more amazing shaves away from me proposing to her...which would almost certainly be rejected, but wont stop her from being my beard wizard forever. Since Im a one barber man, I have to be more flexible with who is available to do my haircut. As a result, Ive gotten cuts from 4-5 different stylists in the shop. Not one of them has let me down yet.Worth every penny.

It was my first time at a barber shop, I used to go to Cost Cutters but not anymore. Finley’s was a great place. The lady in the front was extremely welcoming as soon as I walked in. She showed me towards the waiting area in which they had complementary sodas, beer, coffee, mints, and other snacks. The haircut I got was just as good as the quality of the place. Easily the best haircut I’ve ever gotten.I just suggest booking an appointment online, and I HIGHLY recommend you book it with Jen.Jen cut my hair and she did a FANTASTIC job, I loved it. She’s is super cool, really easy to talk to, and if you’re unsure on what you want your hair to look like, she gives great suggestions (and with hair product too).My entire experience with Finley’s was phenomenal, I definitely recommend it.

So today was my first time here and I have to say the hype about this place was not accurate. I have a place go to regularly but I was short on time and based on the reviews looked like a good place. I went in for a beard trim a haircut. Nothing fancy. I was told that they indeed did strait razor cuts so I was pretty excited about that. But what I set up apparently was not enough to warrant one. I paid just a shade less and my usual place and get that service plus a razor shave, aftershave, hot towel and a hand message. My original thought was to come back and possible try the other services but after today that is unlikely.

If youre looking for a great haircut with a staff that is motivated and passionate about their craft, this is the place. Ive been coming here for over a year and every stylist is great. The nice touch at the end is getting a clean neck shave - not too common anymore in your run of the mill barbershops.

While the price is a bit higher than some of the big box places, its about right for the upscale barber shops and, in my opinion, the quality and consistency of the services makes it worth it. Made an appointment, got a call 15 minutes before my appointment they told me a mistake was made. I offered to cancel they told me they would make it work. I showed up only to wait 20 minutes. So 1 pm appointment turned into a 130 appointment more or less. The hair cutter was obviously in a hurry because they just over booked my appointment. I have a fairly simple hair cut but a couple of specific requests. She did whatever she wanted and the results were the exact opposite of my requests. She was unapologetic. The quality of the cut is no better than great clips. Save your money this place is all glitz no substance. Go to a real barber shop.

I showed them a picture of the EXACT haircut I wanted, and I got something completed different. Its uneven, way shorter than I wanted, and I have different sized bangs. Now I have to grow it out again which will take WEEKS! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Find a real barber.

Ok, so people seem to like this place... But let me explain my review. I was a first time customer, with a first time perspective... I have driven by the location several times, and decided that it was about time to get a cut. Not knowing one thing about this stores policies or practices... I walk into the store... I stand there waiting to be acknowledged by this blonde older lady behind the desk. She ignores me for 10 to 15 minutes, then proceeds to give me an attitude when I simply stated Id like to get a haircut. She barks at me, you have an appointment? Im looking around and see about 3 or 4 chairs empty... Thinking what is up with this place? I inform her this was my first time, and she acts like it doesnt matter to her... She proceeds to tell me that they are by appointment only, that she cant help me, again that they only take appointments and they are booked for the day. Who would go to a place that does not want to help you, barks at you and basically kicks you out the door. This blondie should find another place to work, other than dealing with people and her attitude. I wouldnt go back into that place, and dont know why people go there and put up with this. I can go elsewhere and spend less for a cut, or even not spend at all and just cut my own dang hair.

As someone who spent 5 years in the armed services, I am accustomed to getting haircuts every week. With this said- I have had terrible haircuts and I have had great haircuts.Since coming to Finleys, the latter has been redefined. I have yet to have a reason to question whether or not I will reschedule, let alone get someones number that night.
