Nice and clean storage. Customer Service is even available during weekends. Some elevators are with no illumination at all. Should be an easy fix

So i make a reservation online show up and the office has been close as of noon. They really need to update their website to have all of this information on it so that people can actually see its closed. Or just update your Google maps listing for special holiday hours this now delayed my move. Thanks.Update: I eventually did go with them good rates and fast service when open thanks for even replying to my last review just need to have someone in charge of updates on Google listings

I called secured climate storage on my way from Ohio. They recommended a 10x20 climate controlled unit due to my pictures and wood furniture. They were so helpful, even gave me the phone number of movers to help me unload the penske truck. You can also leave your penske truck there, and it is done. No other trips to make when you are exhausted and stressed. Thanks to you all, and thanks to Lynn.

After years of smooth sailing with Secure Climate.. where the sweet old owner rode around on his golf cart and things were stable Move It bought them out and the decline was immediate. After sending an email about the new Christian ownership with positive changes ahead, they removed the trash cans on each floor, stopped sweeping (dead bugs unmoved over months), raised the rent twice (including during the pandemic) in eight months and sent me a contract to sign saying they didnt have one. It lists fees from everything from charging a 200 fee if they decide to evict you which is unrelated to fees for non payment and they ask you to agree to continue paying rent after they claim your possessions for non payment up to the time of the sale of your possessions?? Etc, etc etc. They expressly state they have no obligation to secure the grounds, are not responsible for potential sprinkler malfunction, are not obligated to maintain temperature control and you are responsible even if they are negligent (and of course you pay their legal fees). It goes on and on. Its insulting. And bad business. Every time I am in my unit I find myself sweating and have been brushed off when I ask that whatever problem the air conditioning has be fixed. I have never been a single day late paying rent in over 5 years and chose a far away unit to save money. I cant find anything right about their seemingly greedy, exclusively self-serving business mindset, decidedly un-Christian improvements and their indifference to showing up with integrity or a sense of equity or god forbid, graciousness that they have the good fortune to own a business that serves the public. A storage unit should never cause a hassle. You pay and you store your belongings. I am furious. Just imagining the staggering amount Ive paid over the years to store my things is painful enough. During a pandemic? Raise my rent again? I should have noticed the name change - says it all. Went from Secured Climate Storage to Move It.

There is an alarm here that goes off for 24 to 48 hours at a time. I can hear it all night in my apartment. Once, I informed the men at the security desk, ( I drove over there and entered the front door to inform them) they had absolutely no idea it was going off. I was told to inform police. Even after police are informed, over 8 hours later, the alarm is going off. They cant always get in and no one is there. I once called the main 1 800 number, they referred me to the location. That location had no idea there was an alarm going off. Absolutely livid! I let it slide about 10 times, but honestly, tired of calling the cops. They may be being repeatedly robbed. I have left them messages to follow up. Id say store your stuff at your own risk.***Happy to report that this alarm has not been heard for at least a solid month and much appreciated! My only complaint now would be the delivery that is made very loudly every night at about 3am. I wish that could get quieter or be rescheduled.

I have been renting a large storage unit here for about a year. The specific unit, and the entire property, is clean and well maintained. This includes multiple restrooms. The gated security system has never been inoperable to my knowledge. I have never seen any suspicious people on the property or felt like my belongings were not secure. I have never had any issues finding hand carts when I need one. The on-site staff has always been friendly, helpful, and courteous. The property is now under new ownership. They recently raised the rates about 10%. There are less-expensive facilities in the Four Points area. But I believe the convenience and quality of this facility is worth the premium. The only other minor negatives beyond cost are:- It is difficult to enter/exit the property from/to the far lane on 620, especially during rush hour;- Due to the large number of moving trucks that park on the property, it is sometimes, but rarely, difficult to find a parking space near the building where my storage unit is located.I recommend this property. Closer to 4.5 Stars.

Great facility with nice, helpful staff, decent access hours and prices. Other services (truck rental, shipping, and mailboxes) at the same location are very convenient. I hope the new owners keep it up. My only complaint is that there are no lights inside the individual rooms.

Secured Climate Storage is the best storage facility I have ever rented from. I did a lot of comparison shopping before deciding that they were the best, and also the best price. The facility is always immaculately clean. Unlike other facilities I have used, there has always been moving carts available in the building. Thankfully no more wild good chases trying to find a cart to move my stuff. Loading docks are the right height for big moves, with surface level loading for small moves. Perhaps most important, I feel my precious stored items are safe. Their facility security looks state of the art. I also feel comfortable sending my family members because of the excellent security. I recommend them highly to my family and friends who need some extra storage space. Good management and great pricing make a huge difference.

I dont have a storage unit here but I did take advantage of their USPS services since its right next door and I dont have to drive 15-20 minutes to the nearest post office. The down side is that they only accept cash, at least for USPS outgoing packages. Im not sure if it was temporary but they signs they had up didnt indicate a later date that theyd accept credit/debit cards. Also not sure if they only accept cash for FedEx outgoing mail. The service is good, the reps are friendly but the one helping me had to re-enter my addresses 3 times. Ill come back because of its convenient location.

I don’t do this often, but in this case, this review is deserved. The people at Secure Climate Storage are just AWESOME! This experience was no hassle, quick, and very professional. The rates are better than other facilities in the Austin, TX area, and the people and the cleanliness of the facility made the decision easy to make. I am very happy with our decision.

We rented a storage space, post office box, and got moving supplies. The employees were not only friendly but kept us smiling and laughing, it definitely was an uplifting experience for a “not-so-fun” type of errand. Please visit them for their service and great extraordinary facilities. We’ve had other experiences and can say we would surely come back!

Their staff are very friendly and helpful each time I went there. A few even remember me by my name or recognize me. They provide great customer services who understands the need of their customers. I can ensure my packages and mails are safely stored until I pick them up. The facility is very accessible, clean, and you can get your mails with your own personal key to your mailbox 24 hours.

Nothing but great things to say about this business and employees. Have rented two units and they are easily accessible, clean and very secure. The loading dock and varying size dollies make moving in and out a breeze. Great pricing and ample size units as well. Their team is friendly, helpful and kind.

This place was good until about 2-3 months ago, now under new management and everything is sooo corporate. Very quick to take your money but slow (still havent received) refund due to me. Moved out and kept getting billed a month later, with late fees!

Hard to review something youve only been involved with for a few minutes. I think you need to hold your horses. Reservation online process was fast and easy. Also easy so far at the office, Matt was great, and super friendly. Owner must think this is California, prices are way too high.

It was all in one with USPS, FedEx.Prompt response.Polite receptionist..Very good truck, almost new and in good condition. We got a good rate for 7 days rental, unlimited mileage on a 16ft truck.

This review is for all those who have to make a move at short notice or if you procrastinate. First, the new website absolutely rocks!! Its a genius design that covered pretty much everything, and purchasing a unit was the fastest Ive ever seen, bravo to new management for really thinking this through.P.S. the only thing I couldnt find was how tall the units were, Im assuming its the same 13 ft? VERY friendly staff! They are always willing to help me packing up my items to get the best price--whether its FedEx or USPS. Unlike the post office, they dont just point over to the wall with tape and make you buy it--they let you use some for free if you need it!! I also have used them for storage. The rates are very comparable and competitive. Other places offer a free month but it often comes with strings attached. When I called around for pricing, Secured Climate Storage was by far the nicest and well informed one. Other places had me on hold for a while or were even an automated computer! A++

I stop by here occasionally on my commute after work to ship packages and the staff are always helpful and nice to work with. The service is excellent.

These guys are charging $10 to ship a USPS flat rate envelope that costs $6.55 to ship. A 50% markup and I didn’t use their supplies. And to top it off, they will only accept cash or checks. Hmmm, no thanks! I’ll gladly take my business down the road to a another company.

We have a PO box here.The service is great. The people behind the counter are always helpful and are wonderfully understanding when you forget your key and need to get your mail.Since you get a street address, you can also have UPS and FedEx deliver to you here when you rent a PO box.The price is a little higher compared to getting a PO box at the post office, but the convenience makes it worth the extra price to me.

We really enjoy the quality of this storage facility. Its always clean, easy access in and out via keypad. Theres always a cart available when in need.Also we really like the mailing service options available there on site. So if needing to mail a package off we dont have to go to the post office.

This company is offering $10 discounts to give positive reviews... I rented from SCS on the recommendation of a friend while they were under the previous management. I had zero issues and everyone who worked there was great. Then...new management. Since they have taken over, the customer service I have experienced has been TERRIBLE. They have no way to pay online (really...its 2019) and when I went into ask about it the first time, the manager could not be bothered to come talk to me. She was literally sitting outside the glass window...I could see her while the clerk went to talk to her about me...and then when she came in afterward, did not even acknowledge me. I received my invoice for January rent on January 4th, when it was already late. Then when the relief manager Matt called to collect payment today and I shared my frustrations with him, he told me that they were just trying to enforce the law by collecting payment on time. When I told him that he was continuing to prove why I should take my business elsewhere he said, well you just have to give us 10 days notice. Do not rent from this place...they dont care at all about customer service and you might as well give your money to another business that at least pretends to care and will take your payment online.

I ship Fedex at this place all the time. They are always nice and get the transaction done efficiently. I have never had any issues with packages not arriving or late etc. Access is easy in/out (as long as youre heading North on 620). I suspect the person who gave the bad review was having one of those days

Worst experience ever. Do not store any of your items at this location. Our unit was accessed somehow and items were taken and we still have yet to speak to the owner. They never return any phone calls and I have asked to meet in person and still have not heard back. It has been over 3 months. Supposedly they have video surveillance and they have yet to identify when our items were taken. It is heartbreaking, they took personal items that you cant put a value on.

Really good people to work with. The facility itself can be a little difficult. With uneven pavement and ramps it makes moving dollys and having them stay where you want them to very difficult and has caused me much frustration in the past. Overall, very clean.

Ive been using this place for a Private Mailbox for the past few years. Ive always had great service.

Get ready for a suck fest if you choose to go to this place. You will usually find at least 3 people there doing nothing, not acknowledging your presence or worse, just staring at you and not saying anything. Its not worth my time to go into the extreme suckiness and aggravation we have had going there, but it wont happen again. And if your there just to drop something off and not purchase anything, they will either hold your package an extra day or find a way to charge you $0.50 for something and god forbid you only have your debit card. This place really, really blows.Avoid the aggravation. Go an extra mile for someone who wants your business and doesnt view you as an interruption.

The guy (owner) is a complete prick. The lady that was there is sweet, but the owner is a disrespectful grump. I mailed some priority packages there, and first I am told they are not priority (these are flat rate priority USPS boxes btw). Then after I give him the packages he immediately prints out the labels without letting me speak to tell him I need them insured and signature on receipt.He gets pissy and starts over and then tries to go and tell me I cannot do signature on receipt.... I own a business and I do it all the time at the post office!! But trying to stay calm and not blow up on the owner I am like whatever just give me the confirmation slip.I cannot believe the service this guy gives... He should really just stay in the back office and find another person like the lady there that actually enjoys life. It is amazing how this one grumpy old guy can make a good day crappy.

This business has switcherd ownership and not doing to well. I called a month ago and updated all of my information including credit card on file and that magically disappeared and they are asking for late fees now. Ill be moving my belongings away from them and going elsewhere. Beware unless you like dealing with pure ignorance on the other side of the phone.
