I have a lot to say but I’ll try keep it short.I’ve been here 3-4 times with two major upgrades/repair. Everyone there is above and beyond nice and trusting of their customers.10 stars for the work as my car hasn’t had any issues after each repair/upgrade, engine bay and car is clean when it’s returned to me, and my favorite is my car drives like new.It kind of sucks because my car is repaired so well it doesn’t break down. No break no brink Motorsports. Makes me want to buy a project car just so I can go back and give them my business haha.And occasionally you get to see some of the cool cars they work on.

Went in early morning to ask about a tune on my car, Michelle gave me good advice on what I should actually do to my Passat GT. Ended up ordering a Borla exhaust, and they installed in the next day in about 2 hours! Super quick service, car sounds great, good quality work, and the owner Michael actually reached out to me via text to assure everything went well. Not your average customer service, would highly recommend!

While I was waiting for a repair on something I broke while DYI tune up, I was able to overhear conversations with other customers. The genuine response and concern for all customers issues and concerns were outstanding. The entire staff makes you feel like youre part of the family. I have found the only shop that I will use for my 2015 Audi A6.They also told me how to check my oil when I arrived ...the South Austin Audi Dealership wanted to charge me $160 for service if I went there to check my fluids when I called to ask.

Went in for a break inspection and they looked at it promptly and told me I was fine for awhile longer and what to look for to tell when to come back. I will certainly be back!

I have a 2013 Audi A6 Prestige with 3.0t supercharged engine and this shop was recommended by my Audi forum. I brought in my car for an oil change and once over and they did not disappoint. Michelle is very professional, told me what might need repair in the future and what didnt (that the dealer said did). Ill be honest, anytime you contemplate going to an outside shop OTHER than the dealership, that can lead to doubt and what ifs. Michelle & Mike truly have the best customer service, and they know Audi inside and out! I will never take my top dollar toy (Audi S6) anywhere else except to Michelle & Mike. I had two major car problems, scared to fix, thinking it would cost 3-4k+. Ended up costing less than 1k and now my car drives truly BETTER than even the day I bought it Oct last year [New to me 14 S6]. I walked in with my Volkswagen and in less than 30 minutes Brink Motorsports had loaded an APR stage 1 tune. Great service, friendly staff. They answered all my questions about the APR software. If you have a Volkswagen or Audi in Austin, that is the place to go for your APR tune!

We have been using Brinks for a couple of years now to perform repairs or basic maintenance on my car. Besides always doing a good job, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion. Michael, the owner, is friendly and great about reaching out when they are running a special on maintenance work. Michelle, the office captain, is extremely knowledgable, professional, and helpful. When my car hit a milestone, some things needed to be repaired, and she saved us a chunk of money on one of the repairs by suggesting we check to see if that particular repair was covered under my warranty - it was. And finally, (this is a very condensed version), my cars engine light came on while we were out of town recently. We immediately called Brinks because I knew they would steer us in the right direction, and they did. Knowing I can reach out to them with concerns about my car wherever I am gives me enormous peace of mind. Their level of service and the way they conduct business reminds me of the bygone days of Austin when the city was smaller and people were neighbors, not numbers.

Brink Motorsports is the real deal. Super responsive, friendly, and even had the best price among local shops. I cant imagine a single reason why youd take it anywhere else. Mike wrote me back personally to discuss the work that I was looking to have done. He recommended a great tow truck service to get it there. Then in just a day, the car was ready to roll again.

Ive been going to Brink Motorsports for years, first with my VW Passat and now with my Mercedes AMG. They are always professional, informed, and attentive. They always provide options for me, helping make sure Im not doing more than whats necessary but making sure I understand the tradeoffs. They were more than happy to use brake parts that I found online that were less expensive than their providers exact same parts. I never worry about getting raked over the coals or that Im not getting the absolute best service for my money.

I drove an hour and 45 minutes to this shop because it came highly recommended. I could’ve easily saved gas and time going to the shop here in town that’s 1 minutes away and opted to go to Brink Motorsports. Brought it in for an oil change and tune up and the pricing was excellent and the service, simply fantastic. This was my second service visit and I could not be happier. Love taking my car here, especially if it gives me the excuse to get to talk to Mike. When I first went they were the only shop that would align my car, it took another place over 8 hours and they did it wrong, causing my control arm to break. Brought it to Brink and they had everything tightened up and aligned correctly the first time. Then I had to get new wheels.. Then new control arms/bushings... So after about alignments and a whole new front suspension later in the course of ~ 4 months I got to know them pretty well.They are one the only shop I trust with my baby.

Great service for your Audi. Oil change cost the same as a Jiffy Lube but you know you are getting the fluids. Checked other service items only Audi experts know to look for.

I was a walk in customer on Friday. I recently bought a golf r that has apr tunes and upgrades. I want in to have the tune transferred to my name. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and was great about explaining what I had and how to maintain it. They asked me what options I wanted (cracks and bangs or not) and were all around awesome. I was especially surprised when the owner, Michael, followed up with me the next day to ask how my experience was and to say I have a really nice car and offer help in the future. Ill definitely be back!

Awesome. I always feel like I am about to get duped whenever I go to a new shop. I didnt have that feeling at all at Brinks from start to finish.Just got a used 740 Li and took it in for an oil change and a solid inspection. They were very thorough and the car luckily was in tip top shape and needed nothing.Ill be bringing the wifes E350 here too. Trust the reviews on this one. Anybody with 100+ 5 stars IS 5 star!

I really want to like this shop, but I can’t bring myself to saying my experience was anything short of disappointing. I took in my 2008 Vw rabbit 2.5l there, never again. Not to mention it’s an hour drive from my home each way.I payed to get my engine computer tuned and they ended up frying the engine computer. It took NINE WEEKS(from the day I dropped it off to the day I picked it up) for them to have the car back to driveable, even tho it was supposed to be a 30 minute procedure. They did provide me with a free loaner(tech’s personal car), and I admit they were very nice on the phone and in person. However it took me calling in almost every day or every other day to get info on the vehicle - after I asked repeatedly, every time we communicated that I please get a call or at least a text saying “hey were doing X” or “sorry, nothing done today, waiting on Y” etc. I understand some of the time wasn’t their fault, it was 3rd party wait time(dealer waiting time, part shipping time, tech not working certain days, etc).They ended up replacing the engine computer(multiple times), an a/c sensor(that my or not have been bad) and the engine cooling fan. They also performed an alignment, because I asked for it from the inconvenience, and they tried charging me $200(I said don’t worry about it that’s the most expensive alignment I’ve ever heard of - and I worked at a jaguar dealership - then they said we already did it so you can have it for free). They also had me drive there 3 times telling me it was fixed when it wasn’t, so I wasted 6 hours of driving total - and another 4th time to drop my extra keys off(to make sure they get programmed with the new computer, luckily I was going to Austin anyway so that one was just a slight detour). I asked the tech to drive the car home and verify it was all working properly and he agreed he would and did - mileage says he didn’t. I was told because it was their mistake(personally by the tech), I would not have to pay anything additional to the tune’s original price. But in the end I was charged with an additional $200(for the cooling fan...their price with their markup - I refused to pay labor for install, which they were also trying to charge me for) on top of my original $400+($600+ total). The tech argued “we only worked on the engine computer, the fan is a different system we have to charge you for that” even though he personally told me HE would do and pay for(not ME) whatever it needed to fix the car, because it was all working when it came in. Well, it’s a COMPUTER CONTROLLED ELECTEONIC FAN, guess what makes it work - answer: pre-fried computer. In the end I just payed the additional $200 because honestly, I wanted my car back. I’ll never go back to that shop and will definitely steer anybody I know and needs a car worked on away from them.When I picked the car up I still had to take it to the dealer because neither the dealer(who they took it to to program the engine computer), nor the shop checked that(including the cruise control) was working as intended, and had to have cruise control reactivated in the computer with the scan tool at the local Vw dealer. I called the tech back immediately after I noticed, he called the dealer to let them know I was on the way and luckily got it sorted out quickly. And I was finally able to take my finished car finished home.In the end, they were the closest shop to me for what I wanted done. I used them and they have many, many good reviews - IMHO to me they were a fail. I had their car for so long, honestly I’m not even sure if it did get the tune I payed for or not because I can’t tell any difference(yes, I know it’s not a huge increase in power it provides so it may be just the tune is not very noticeable in any case) from before.

Came in for a tune (2010 S5). Very friendly and informative. Im a master tech myself and knowing how the industry is, they are about the customer rather than making a buck. Its a great place to come to, to have your services done to your vehicle. Even though I do the work myself, I know I can definitely turn to them to take care of work I feel I cant accomplish. They completely have my business.

Came in with my 2014 Volkswagen GTI stock not knowing much of the upgrades that could be done to it. Brinks team was very knowledgeable on parts, upgrades and tips to maximize the life out of my vehicle. Brink performed a complete APR stage II upgrade in one day. During the process, Brinks team gave a diagnostic of the engine to provide feedback on crucial components that needed replacement. Very satisfied with the outcome. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back for maintenance and other upgrades. Highly recommend!

I just can’t say enough about the service at Brink Motorsports! Michelle is not your typical Service Advisor, by any means. She’s so knowledgeable, helpful and goes far above and beyond the expected. I’ve worked with two different Service Technicians and both did a phenomenal job. They, not only took care of the job at hand but also, offered suggestions about how best to care for my car in between visits. They also took a great deal of time to explain what was done to the car and why. It’s a rarity to find a shop you can truly trust, but these guys have accomplished it!

My experience with Brink Motorsports was excellent. The price for a tune on my MK6 GTI was competitive comparing with other local shops. Michelle at front desk was very knowledgeable about everything regarding the APR stage 1 tune. The whole tune up process only took about 30 mins. Overall, highly satisfied with the customer service and friendly staff as well as the tune itself. I recommend Brink to anyone that owns a VW.

I had called another repair shop first. They were going to charge almost $200 just to look at my car. At that time, I wasnt even sure my car even needed a repair. I then called Brink. The woman on the phone was super knowledgeable and asked me what was going on . She suggested I bring my car in for a free diagnostic. I really appreciate the time and level of customer care she and Mike took to help me. I felt confident in the level of service I received on this initial visit, and I ended up taking my car in the following week to get repaired. The staff is very nice, professional, and friendly. I feel very comfortable with them and this business.

My husband has taken my car there a total of 2 times. Both times he came home stating that they did a great job and they made sure to explain any and all repairs. Brink Motorsports are excellent and know their stuff inside and out which gives me peace of mind. I had my A3 service (timing belt/water pump kit) done by Brink and it was completed within the same day, even before the afternoon rush hour - I was pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround and will definitely return to them for big maintenance issues in the future.Update: installed a coilover kit and other suspension parts - had Brink finish up the rest of the install in addition to having an alignment done; all completed within a day. Its been a week and no issues yet - the car feels incredibly nice to drive. They also let me know of other items that will require attention in the near future, which is much appreciated. I will definitely go to them to have any major maintenance/repair issues worked on. Thanks again!

Simply Amazing.You hear about Texas charm and all that goes into that. Let me tell you. I came for down pipe installation on my 2016 Golf R. Words cannot describe my experience there. I was amazed by the both the expertise and their down right fun factor. I have been to many pro shops over the years and here you are made to feel like family. Being from the Oregon coming in I was a bit hesitant not knowing what pro shops were like here in TX. Trust me dont hesitate with bringing your car here. They are compassionate about cars and the customer experience. I can;t give them a higher rating. Trust me...you will love them.

Mike and team did a fantastic job on my Audi A4, 55k service. They did go above and beyond their call of duty, they proactively find out that there are some outstanding recalls on my car, and setup an appointment to the dealership so that I do not have to pay for those repair.They are honest, fairly priced, great service overall great local business. I will definitely take my car there again for service. I am a very Satisfied customer.

Mike upgraded my VW CC with software from APR. Car now has a lot more power and torque. While the software was installing, Mike visited with another customer about how to get the most performance from his vehicle for the best price. Was originally going to go straight to a Stage 2 tune with an APR downpipe on a 16 S3 but when I got to the shop I decided to stick with a stage 1 and do the transmission software since both were on sale at the time. I was in and out in about an hour and half and was given tons of great information while I waited about mods and dealerships. First impressions are key and my first impression will likely lead me to be a repeat customer. Im about 100 miles away but that wont deter me from coming back. Thanks for everything so far Brink!

Mike and his crew are the only place any VW/Audi owner should take their car to for service or repair. I believe they wrench on other makes as well. You won’t find a nicer, more honest or more proficient shop in Austin. Can’t recommend highly enough.
