Since I was leaving in a couple of days for an extended vacation, it was important to know the cause of the noise. I have been Having work done on my 2003 Mustang for the last couple of months. It was a major overhall. They have done a great job and in a timely manner. I have used Oak Hill Automotive before and Trust them completely. One of the first times I used them was years ago when I was having trouble with a truck. I had taken it to another shop and they told me I need new plug wires, a complete tune up and cleaning of the fuel jets. This was going to cost me about $1500. I left there and took it to Oak Hill Automotive and explained the problem. They ran test and then came the way to solve the problem. It only needed a new gas cap which cost me about $30 or $40 including the tests they ran. They could have ripped me off but because of their honesty and expertise they did their work and I didnt have any problem after that. Thanks to them and their Staff!

I took it to them for a State Inspection, I needed bulbs for my car, they called me once they found this, said they would call if there were anything else, asked my permission to move forward. Once done they called me to pick it up. Excellent customer service, professional and nice staff.

For over 30 years, Oak Hill Automotive has NEVER failed to perform quality, trouble-free work for us. One can expect to pay as much as one would pay at a dealership, but I have never known ANY dealership to perform NEARLY as consistently as has Oak Hill Automotive. Year in, year out, decade in, decade out, sports cars, work trucks, engine rebuilds, periodic service, differential overhaul, electrical mysteries, whatever, it doesnt matter; if they work on it, they will figure out the problem and do the job right.

Hank and Steve will keep your car running right. They are honest with you about what needs to be done now, what needs to be done soon, and what can be put off. It can be hard to get in to the shop on short notice (and that right there should tell you something) but they will try to work you in in an emergency. I refer all my friends there without hesitation.

I had an issue with my F150 truck the day I was supposed to go out of town to Nashville (800 mile trip) and took it to Oak Hill Automotive to evaluate. They got me right in and diagnosed that my prior oil change done at a quick oil change type of place was done improperly and the oil filter was damaged and leaking. They fixed me right up and saved an engine failure.I have also taken used cars I was evaluating to them for inspection and they have given me great guidance.

I have used Oak Hill Automotive in the past for oil changes and state inspections. When I last had my oil changed, Hank alerted me that my brakes would need to be replaced about the time of my next oil change. I called and scheduled time to bring my Lexus SUV in for the oil and brake service. They ordered the parts and had them ready when I dropped off my SUV. The service took the exact amount of time quoted and the result is amazing. My brakes operate smoothly and I no longer have the pulsing sensation when trying to stop. Hanks mechanic also noted a possible future issue with my radiator cap. It was replaced so I wont have any issues this summer. I recommend you give them try when you need your next service.

These guys are the best! They have kept my high mileage(150k+) vehicle on the road for years now. The integrity you will find here is unparalleled. I have taken family automobiles and trucks to Oak Hill Automotive for over twenty years. The service has been outstanding. To give you an example yesterday August 30 the check engine light came on in our GMC Terrain. Even though they had a lot of work and mechanics on vacation, Hank was able to get it in, trouble shoot and order the part for Friday delivery. The vehicle was fixed before lunch Friday allowing us to use it on the three day weekend.

They have been taking care of both our cars ever since. They provide honest quotes, use high quality parts (which will sometimes cost more), but will not recommend anything unnecessary and they stand behind their work. Highly recommend!

I sometimes go to lambs when the tire pressure light comes up and they do it in like 5mins as complimentary. It was 30mins before closing time and this place was on the way home, when I asked if they could check the tires, the owner was frustrated and said if I want that I had to wait 20-40mins until he finishes closing. Great way to shoo away when they dont want to help.
