My students loved our field trip here. Many of them have NEVER seen livestock up close and didnt have the foggiest idea where their food came from. What an amazing opportunity for urban youth to make connections to understand where food and clothing comes from.

Went to the expo center twice in a month. Once for the TFX competition to spectate. The second time was to do the Terrain Race which was so much fun.

Didnt quite dislike the place, it provides, but definitely needed updating, especially the roof... After seeing that, i didnt want to walk around and explore... I mean if the roof looks like that( gaping open and patched ) , what else is there to see, but the car show ( heatwave ) held there was AMAZING

Aaron Watson in concert and a rodeo. I came for the concert which was fabulous but the rodeo was also fun to watch. These people do so much for children. They raised over 2 million last year alone!! They need to put aside a bit to fix the ceiling because its in dire need. Great place if your into rodeos and country music with strong moral beliefs . I loved it. There is also a carnival there throughout the rest of the week .

My 13 year old son came to get his covid vaccine the 1st one and they were awesome they spoke to him and talked to him and made him feel very comfortable thank you all professionals that were there and just everybody that worked there was awesome he will be there in a couple weeks to get his 2nd and last final vaccine thank you

Went to Rodeo Austin!! Had a blast!! Parking was easy, carnival was a lot fun! Plenty of food, games, merchandise, etc. PERFECT weather!! Bull riding, calf roping, mutton bustin....WOW!! Fun & exciting events! Great atmosphere!!I tried one of the food trucks...SAvery Grilled Cheese!! I had the Caprese, and man ol man...i was not disappointed!!!! It was seriously the best thing Ive ever eaten!!! It had tomatoes, and pesto with fresh mozzarella on roasted garlic sourdough bread!!! Find this truck and definitely check it out!!!! YUMS!!

This place was home to the first every Seismic music festival. I had an amazing time!

Everything from bubble races to Austin rodeo.Easily located from the highway, lots of parking and like minded people.

The Rodeo was amazing!

My time there was short but it was during this years Thanksgiving Food Donations, this past Thursday. The process was so smooth and easy-peazy!

Had a ball shopping at the Native American PowWow and arts and crafts show. Fabulous jewelry and other items.

We attended a horse show. Its okay. The seating is just bleachers that are broken and several people almost fell. The bathrooms need work. Only one faucet worked in the womens bathroom. There was no soap available and the paper towel dispenser did not work. You could see paper towels but the knob on the side was broken. When I asked facilities to fix it they said they knew but there was nothing they could do. I suggested taking the paper towels out of the dispenser; they said they werent allowed.

My fiancé and I went to the Tiny Home Expo in August 2018 for fun and see all the tiny homes. We were overall disappointed with the expo and facility. Never again during the times when the Texas heat is blasting.

We were there for the ROT rally. It is a great location for events. But, the expo center itself is due for some updates.

Ah such a wonderful place! It was massive. I attended my first rodeo there and really enjoyed it. The fairgrounds were very nice, lots of food options, and the arena was awesome. No seat was a bad seat. The prices were reasonable. The concert was great in there. Definitely need to go there for a rodeo if given the chance.

128 acres of expo center, outdoor arena area, lots of parking, with a lake close by. The rodeo is held here as well as the Austin Powwow. A marathon run is also held on the grounds. A great event place. Highly recommend a visit here to any event.

I was volunteering at the Bubble Run so I cant really comment on the facility itself as entry was never made. I can say it was the perfect place for this particular event as Im sure it is for many others. The only downfall was the location, but of course that all depends on where youre coming from and what you think is too far. Other than that, I have no complaints. Parking was ample, but here again, that could/would change depending on the event(s) being held at the time.

Great evening at the rodeo

We were able to attend the Rodeo see all the animals and I work with people that are special to me and the Austin Rodeo club. We are very very honored to be part if ape oak so special. And we got to see the Jacksons play which has been a dream if a life time. Thanks everyone!

Went to Rodeo Austin in March with some very good friends. They had the four front row tickets and a very choice parking pass. We have been to the rodeo held out here for decades, but the acoustics are very poor, and have been for a long time, especially trying to hear the live acts. The Rodeo events are pretty good, but nothing can compare to Rodeo Houston, but we will continue to support our local rodeo. I love the bull riding, bare back horses and the cute local kids trying to ride the sheep.

Really great time at the annual Texas Round Up event. Totally packed with everything from one offs to fully restored and everything from rat rods to just done up enough to ride and show off. Swap meet was pretty big too from what I heard. Great live music playing as well. Several food vendor trucks with all different kinds of food. I cant wait for nex year.

Though I was there for the carnival around the center and only dipped in for the restrooms I highly recommend it. A rodeo was being held along with the carnival and I was there for the carnival. But the parking available was more than enough and the building is spacious and welcoming.

Great venue for rodeo. Always has good bands every night during rodeo season. Dont know if they still do monster truck shows but if so always great fun.

Came here for the rodeo. I really loved that they moved parking to the side so the traffic isnt backed up on the main roads. That said, I still managed to lose track of where my van was parked. Ha!The rodeo was a good experience for the kids but everything was super pricey. Also, they really need to consider not bringing fish anymore. There were so many dead fish in the tank when my daughter won one, it was heartbreaking for my kids to watch that. Everyone seems to love face painting so they should consider multiple painters for next year.

Needs to be cleaned up. Ive been here 35 years. I honestly dont know that the county has ever done much maintenance work on the expo center, yet events and, presumably, therefore, the county sure have raked in a lot of money. They need it do a better job of maintaining what they have in this facility; its dreary, dingy, dirty, and otherwise a huge space with extensive room for parking all sizes of vehicles for the many events that have been held there over time.

Amazing family fun. You can spend your day in shows and tours. Afternoons on the rides. Evening at the Pro Rodeo and feature concert. Great every year

Huge, cool, spacious place to protest your county taxes. If you feel you are over taxed. Must go through the application and preliminary process to get a two week notice to gather your evidence and appear at their invitation. Big turnout this year.

This is an awesome place to visit especially during Rodeo Austin. The center is filled with western life from the cowboys to the critters to the crowd.There are amazing concerts and plenty of stuff for the kids to do, see, and experience.The food vendors are great, too, from bbq to corn dogs to turkey legs.Loved it!

Arena where the circus is held was having a roof leak which resulted in wet seats and floor...Hope it is in the works of needed repairs. Other then that it has area for concessions and good seating all around. Bathrooms were not in bad condition when I visited.

If the county would invest in refurbishing the place, itd be way better.

We actually went here for the annual antique car show. Wow, loads of cars to look at. There were two Pavilions to walk around in,. One was old car parts and some foods, the other was old time dresses, photos, new parts and stuffs to buy. This is the first time we went, we May go again

Little out of the way but it is one of the better non indoor venues. There are both concrete and packed dirt surfaces. Can get warm.

Went to the rodeo and amusement park for first time. Rodeo was 5 🌟s but the amusement needs to Cath up. Be sure to take a card because the vendors do not accept money. Prices are high for all food so be prepared. Amusement area is very dirty so if it rains be prepared to have mud on your shoes.

Went here to kill zombies with the game ZEDTOWN. It was fun. Lots of walking. I hear they have the rodeo here? Not my thing. Cant see a good reason Id come back but its huge and serves its purpose as well as can be reasonably expected.

We have been to the Travis County Convention Center many times. I have been for the rodeo for concerts and to see President Trump campaign when running for president. This location offers good seats with views and a great facility for many types of events. If you can make it up to The Founders Club during a Rodeo extra treat restaurant and bar available.

Wont be going back to the Rodeo after this years experience. One of the rides operators literally told my sons that they couldnt ride on a ride anymore because they had been on it numerous times already. Are you kidding me?!?! We bought the wristbands for UNLIMITED RIDES for that exact reason! We brought it up to customer service but nothing was done about it, surprise surprise. I feel so ripped off after the amount of money weve spent at the rodeo year after year.

The American Indian Pow Wow was wonderful. Beautiful dances and my grandson was mesmerized by the sounds and colors.

The facility was clean, well organized, and large enough to fit a TON of RVs inside. The staff there for the event were polite and helpful

This venue is in need of a serious repair or overhaul. The roof is collapsing, heater not working properly so very cold, mosquitoes living in toilet bowls, bugs crawling everywhere, elevator not working and stairs were scary and difficlut to climb for some. Dirty restrooms, no soap in some. Dont know why its in such a bad condition? I was so surprised. Had so many fond memories from this venue. I hope theyre able to fix and repair it soon.

Standard expo. Main building, stadium & arena. A little dated & worn. Handicap parking was unacceptable. Concessions were a big disappointment. However, food trucks were amazing.

TCE needs some love. I used to walk in and say niceee, now not so much . The indoor roof insulation is falling apart and actually the whole place insides and out needs a bath and paint. I know rodeos, monster trucks , concerts are held here and that can kick up some dust and damage but I dont think its much to ask for a good power washer once over. Concerned customer.

Free parking, easy in,easy out. Saw the OReilly monster truck show. Next door was a kennel club dog show, we caught that as well.

Its a cool place to have a 5k, rodeo or other event. Its pretty far out of town, but its spacious. They have a big parking lot and the food is usually pretty good.

Came here for the Foam Glow run-nice open spaces, not to close to the major roads, but still close enough to get to the major parts of Austin, if need be!

Attended an event called Zedtown!! An adult game of zombie hunting and survival! Attended with my sons and friends! What a great time, had so much fun. Using nerf guns to shoot zombies with!! Rolled up socks for grenades!! Some attending were in costume! What a great time! We had so much fun!! Will be in different cities across the country!! Looking for great adult entertainment, I highly recommend these events!

ROT RALLY the Biggest and best party in Texas! Thanks to all who work to get this done every year! Not for the squeemish or prudent folks, but definitely all in fun!Bring your camper, tent, or sleep in the truck, but definitely get a golf cart for getting around the place & participating in the parade of craziness lol a concert on the hill, bike shows, games & trick riders & never a shortage of vendors to find the right souvenirs and latest products too!

Not a bad venue! I judged the Texas Heat Wave auto show and had a great time. Heat wave?? It was 109 degrees!
