Always enjoy a trip to the LBJ Library and Museum. If a member you have free access to the interesting lectures. So much to learn and affordable. Auditorium has comfortable seating.
Loved the event and the actual building and its amenities. The parking was stressful. What I thought was easy parking for the actual event in front of the building was not allowed. If youre not familiar with any locations to park, it can be hectic. Then where they directed to park you had to have cash if you didnt have a card. Parking wasnt made easy so take a breath and get ready to have walking shoes on to park and walk.
The LBJ Auditorium is not in the LBJ Library. To enter the LBJ Auditorium, enter the LBJ School of Public Affairs and go down one level or walk across the plaza to exterior stairs and enter through the main doors. See Photos. This is a fantastic facility!
Consistently no AC during several major events across the years. No AC in the downstairs hallways, very little AC in the auditorium itself as well. They also had “crabcakes” which appeared to have chicken or beef inside — disgusting.
Amazing experience. Learned a lot about what a great man LBJ was and some of the difficult decisions he had to make while in office.
A discussion with a uniquely intelligent, successful and thoughtful political expert in Jerry Brown. lbj library is the center of peaceful dialogue for historical and political context in austin.

Nice Auditorium and very clean facility
You learn something every time you go
The rows are way to squished together and finding a seat was very annoying.
