Rented a BMW 2015 K1600 GTL, Bike was in great condition, everything worked perfectly and Mr. Smith was very helpful. He provided at no cost helmet & jackets for my son. Would definitely recommend his services. Process was very smooth for both the pick up and drop off and the ride was spectacular. A good day out on the road.

I was About to rent a Harley Davidson for a four-day tour of Colorado. My friend convinced me to get a BMW 1200 GS. And I am so glad I did it. And I am even more glad I got it from Colorado Tourbikes. Bill Smith is the owner and operator and is an awesome guy. The facility to pick up the bike is a cheap $10 train ride from the airport and his facility is right behind the station in Peoria. He offered to come pick me up at the Peoria station , but it’s an easy walk as well. The bike was perfect. Didn’t have any issues with it. Even had a phone holder which was very convenient for playing songs on the 450 mile trip as well as navigation. He even had hand covers on bike And big lockboxes for all my luggage. Space to spare.I will be coming back to do another tour of Colorado and I will be using Colorado Tour bikes for sure!

Would not recommend trying to do a rental here. Called on the morning ofJuly 10th on the availability of a Polaris Slingshot. Filled out the on line form as requested and recieved the conformation that they have received request at 11 am July 10th. It is 4 days later and have not heard from this company. I thought with over 20 years of riding experience and a excellent credit report would at least secure me a a reply and maybe tricycle. Guess not, customer service is very questionable.

I contacted Bill in late 2016 and inquired about renting 4 BMW R1200GS bikes for a spring break trip with my 3 sons. They were able to accommodate the request and we rented the 4 bikes during spring break 2017. When we arrived, the bikes were ready to ride and as ordered. We travelled more than 2400 miles in 10 days. As could be expected with so many bikes and so many miles, we had a few minor mechanical issues along the way but Bill was helpful in getting those resolved quickly. At one point, he even drove 8 hours (round trip) to ensure that our bike had the needed part to get us back on the road. Overall, we had a great trip and I am glad I found Colorado Tour Bikes. Thank you Smiths for helping us create an unforgettable trip.

BMW 650GS looked to be in good shape when i picked it up, but after my first stop 70 miles into the mountains, battery went dead. Rode to charge the battery best i could for the next 2 days but had to push start it every time after that- very difficult! They would not offer any sort of compensation for the crap i had to deal with- not impressed with the bike maintenance or service.

If (like me) you want something more agile than a Harley to head into the mountains on these these guys have a great selection of European bikes (mostly BMWs) for hire. The K1300R I took out was well maintained (with good tyres) and performed well at the high altitudes. Booking, collection and return were all painless and I had a fantastic day out. Thank you also for the free loan of the waterproof jacket that I did need after all (I was visiting from Texas).

William was very accomodating, the bike ran perfect, the extra helmet we borrowed had a clear visor - no problems at all, other than a lot of rain. However, the rain gear worked well too.
