My neighbor had the gutter filters installed by leaf filter and seemed to be happy with the product. Based on his recommendation I called to get a quote. Within minutes I received a call to set up an appointment the next day. To make a long story short they told me that I needed new gutters because mine were too small. The total bill started at $17K then when I indicated that I would not be purchasing their product the price eventually was reduced to $10K. Then the cluster started. They sub contracted the install to someone that had their own gutter company to do the job. Not only was he a day late starting I had to help him install one of the gutters because he was by himself. It took him 4 days to do the job and left a mess that I had to clean up. I called the sales person who strung me along until the charge cleared. I called service to have them come and address an issue with the gutter overflowing and they never showed up. Unfortunately I did not read the multitudes of bad reviews by many customers. These people are running a scam!

After writing the review below and making several more phone calls, a very professional and competent team of installers came out to my place and fixed everything that was wrong with the installation. So the only thing I have now to say negative is that it is a shame they just didnt take care of this without out all the drama. Im very pleased with what I have now. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company and Ive been in business over 50 years. The original installation was done poorly, their company inspector that came out agreed how poorly it was done and said they would redo it. That was 3 weeks ago. I still dont have the redo done. They scheduled for yesterday and that took me 3 phone calls to get that done. Yesterday was a no-show, no- call. I called this morning and talked to customer service. Still no call back from anyone that can do anything about it. In the meantime they have thousands of dollars of my money and all I have is junk.

They havent completed the work, its been since beginning of June, we are now at end of August, and part of the system blew off in the wind. Ive left numerous phone calls to the 800 #. Cant get in touch with the local number, their mail box is full. Each time I call the 800 # they say someone from local office will call me, no one ever calls. Dont use this company. If I could I would have them come remove the system and refund the cost. The customer is supposedly be top priority, but it seem like its just smoke and mirrors.

I have had leaf filter installed for a year now. It does a good job of keeping deciduous leaves out of the gutter. However, it does not work with pine needles. The needles build up and plug the filter causing water to drain over the gutter. Leaf Filter has cleaned it twice and I climbed up a ladder and cleaned it myself a number of times. The problem continues with no resolution in sight. Also the leaf filter is useless with snow. After each snow storm the filter is plugged with ice and snow and the melted water pours over my gutter. Before purchasing it I asked the sales rep about snow and he assured me there would be no problems. Im pretty sure that Leaf Filter took advantage of this senior citizen who no longer wanted to climb a ladder to clean gutters.

This place seemed good at first. They came out within a couple of days and did the install. They were supposed to clean the gutters before install. I asked after installation if they did and the install manager because defense and with a raised tone tone told me he was not supposed to do that and it was not in there job description. I explained it was on my paperwork that they were supposed to do it and then he goes Oh Yeah I Did . They left the job and then I looked on the roof and noticed the bottle sitting in my other gutters. I called and asked them to remove it and the install manager called me back and said his guys would not have done that. I told him it was a Dasani water bottle and then he said Sorry that was me and I apologize and I will come take it off your roof. That has been over a month now multiple calls and nothing. They obviously dont care about reviews or customer service. I would remove it but I dont have a ladder guess I have to by one. I have called several times and nothing. They hide behind a 1-800 toll free number.

They canceled our installation twice because the crew was a no call, no show. After 3 weeks of calling the 800 number every day and being told the operation mgr or installation mgr would call back I finally went to the office in Aurora only to find it locked.I finally got someone to come to the door and talked to the installation manager. He told me he would call me back twice and and never did. The installation was ok but I paid for 6 new downspouts and only got 5. The 6th one was an old one that was reused. Ill replace the 6th one myself, its easier than the nonsense contacting them again. Worst customer service Ive ever received. They waste no time taking your check and get in no hurry to provide the service paid for.

Update to respond to Leaf Filter’s response below:That is the number I’ve been calling all along. Maybe you could try returning my calls instead of saving face here in your reviews. At the time of writing this update it is August 16th and still no response after several more of the same phone calls as before. Please do not use this company. I haven’t even had enough time to judge the quality of the product but I get to look forward to 60 monthly payments of $100 to remind me of the bad decision I made choosing this company. I can tell you without a doubt this is the worst customer service I have experienced in my life and I say this with NO exaggeration.I had Leaf Filter gutter protectors installed on July 7th. On July 19th a moving truck backed into one of the gutters above my garage and damaged it. I called Leafguard the next day and left a message. No response in 24 hours so I called back and was placed on hold for almost 30 minutes. When I finally spoke with someone they took a message and said someone would contact me to schedule an estimate. A few days later the estimate was scheduled for August 4th but there was going to be a $105 charge to have someone come out for the estimate on top of the cost to fix the damage. During this time I noticed the financing was not set up properly through Wells Fargo. I was supposed to have 60 monthly payments with no interest but when I checked the statement from Wells Fargo it showed an interest rate of 5%. Wells Fargo advised me to contact Leafguard to fix this issue. I had to go through the process of getting in touch with someone and this took a little over a day. Same process, I left a message, no reply, called back the next day and was placed on hold for 20 minutes, spoke with someone and was told I’d get a callback. The financing problem was handled within 2 days by Dave Moore, who identified himself as the Denver Region manager or owner (I can’t remember his official title). He also offered to waive the $105 fee for the repair estimate which was nice. Things were looking up but this didn’t last long. The estimate took place on August 4th and I was told someone would contact me in 1 to 2 days. That did not happen. I left a message on August 7th with a receptionist who said someone would contact me by the end of the day. No reply. It is now August 11th and no one has called me. I left another message this morning and was told I would definitely hear back in a few hours. Nothing. It cost me $6000 for the installation, that is not cheap. Buyer beware they have horrible customer service and I still don’t know how much they are going to charge to repair the damaged gutter.Another problem that I haven’t even bothered to mention with them is when installing the gutters the man left some of my shingles hanging over the screen and I didn’t notice it for a few days. I removed the shingles that were covering the screens but by that time there was some tar that had melted into the screen which is now permanently there. There was also a rip in one of the screens which is also pictured along with the meted tar. I wish there was a way to get a full refund and have them remove the entire system.

This may be a good product if installed correctly. But the installers dont seam to have a clue of what theyre doing, dont clean the gutters, dont reinforce gutters, leave gaps in the system, and dont seal the gutters per the contract. BUYER BEWARE!! Extremely high pressure sales tactics. Salesman bullied me to sign a contract on the spot! upon looking at reviews on the Denver Better Business Bureau website we then canceled the contract. Upon canceling we receive so many phone calls that we finally blocked all calls! Crews showed up without my permission when no one was home and did the installation on my house. When I got home not only did I realize that they had did the installation but the installation was terrible! First row of shingles ruined! So much for not disturbing my shingles! Nails everywhere! And panels appear to already be warping! Salesman then showed up demanding and we pay $4000 for a job we had canceled, and when I said we would not pay for a job we cancelled he threatened me with a lien on my property! I will be filling a police report for trespassing on my property and forced entry into my back yard! As a 92-year-old homeowner I feel like I was taken advantage of!

I purchased the Leaf Filter system, and the sales representative did say that my gutters were in good shape (my house is only 20 years old) and I could have their system installed. After the installation, I started having a serious leak from the gutter above my front door. I called the salesman, and he did not return my calls. I called the main office, and had someone come out two more times to address the issue, and the leak was never fixed. The water freezes and creates ice on my front step, a serious hazard and my elderly mother lives with me. We ended up laying mats on the ice to cover it so we dont slip. When I get the time, I need to find a different company to repair the gutters. The system is installed and I am sure it will keep the leaves out, but not sure I would recommend or use this company again.

I saw these filters at a home show and having lots of trees around our house thought it would be a good thing to have. So I requested an in-home estimate.Let me start with the sales rep who came to my house, I should have thrown him out and walked away right then. His first quote for for over $4000 for a little over 100ft of gutter! He slowly worked down to a price that I was somewhat comfortable with but still quite pricey. In retrospect I should have said good bye, but I went ahead against my wifes better judgement.BIG mistake! These filters have not lived up the the demo and the hype from day one.First it was claimed that water will flow freely through the mesh and will handle a moderate rain storm with no problem. This has not proven to be the case on my home. Even with a small amount of rain the water just flows over the mesh and drips down on the driveway and walkways to my house. Its like the water is flowing right over the top of the mesh without going through to the rain gutters.Next we live in Colorado which means snow. So now comes a problem I never had before - icicles. When I called to complain about that, I was told that is a common problem and the sales rep should have mentioned that - he did not.I saw there was a demo at another home show a short time ago and asked the rep there about satisfaction / money back guarantee and the young lady said Yes, of course! So I called the warranty support number and was told there is no such guarantee. Once you buy, they will adjust them, but Ive had their guy out for that and still have the overflowing and icicle problem. So looks like I am out a bunch of money and a filter system I will have to remove myself since they cause more problems than they fix.My advice - stay away. They do not perform as claimed and the statements of their demo teams and sales reps may not be accurate.Update:Had a call from their corporate office and they stated that no despite what the home show reps told us there is NO money back guarantee with their product. You pay and you are stuck whether it works or not. And very clearly in my case it does not.Had another snow storm - not a biggie by Colorado standards. And Leaf Filter has proven once more that it is NOT a system to use where ever you have snow or cold weather.Just look at the new picture and look at the icicles that we NEVER had before and were NEVER told was an common problem with this system. (I tried to post a video - but cant do that ...)Again cannot emphasis enough STAY AWAY from this product.I will be contacting the Colorado Better Business Bureau and letting them know about the business practices of this company.----------------------------Update #2Another snow storm and the icicles are even larger this time. Here is another picture to show just how bad these things are. Look at the monster icicles on my house and look ant the complete lack of icicles on my neighbors house.Using Leaf Filter was the absolute WORST mistake I have made with my house. This is after multiple visits and adjustments made to the system installed on my house. Each visit the individuals tell me the previous individuals did not do it right and assured me they now have it fixed.Bottom line you cannot fix a bad system with a little bit of tweaking. The system is fundamentally flawed. The mesh placed on top of the rain gutters will get chilled when temperatures fall below freezing (happens a lot in Colorado) and then water will freeze when it starts to run over the mesh. Resulting in water running over the top of the filters and cascading down over the top forming icicles.Think of the liability. What happens when one of these giant spears falls on someone? Where will Leaf Filter be then when you are in court being sued for everything you own?Dont even consider these things they are worse that no good, they are flawed beyond fixing and will cause more problems than they fix.STAY AWAY from these things.

I had LeafFilter put new gutters and their protection system on my home. Their system was a different size than my current gutters, so my home required new gutters to use it, but my gutters are 24 years old and I figured it was a good investment and value. My estimate was on Friday and they showed up on Monday to install and it was done so fast. I do recommend negotiating the price. The sales presentation is comprehensive and I was shown many of the options available - my sales rep had physical examples of many competitors products, which was quite helpful in making my decision to proceed. In comparison to the other products, this system seemed to make the most sense, appeared to be the best way to do what it claims, and they have solid reviews. I had a great experience. Im looking forward to see how they do this fall.

I hired Leaf Filter to install brand new gutters and gutter guards on my house. Sales guy was nice, price was around $4500.00 to do the job (they started around $9,000, and came down to that price) While we discussed the job I explained to the sales guy (Colton) that we might have to change the date of the gutter install since a new roof was being installed on my house. He said it was not a problem, I could call in and change the date to whatever was needed. It took 16 PHONE CALLS before anyone actually returned my call...yup, you read that correctly. After I spoke to them and adjusted the install date- they NEVER SHOWED UP. I was patient, called back in (thinking maybe it was just an honest error)...and we scheduled a 2nd install date. Twice in a row, they NEVER SHOWED UP. No call, no email, no text...nothing. I even called my sales guy to check in- he has never responded to me messages. These are the type of companies that whine and complain that the economy is bad and they cant survive. Truth is, they just stink. Horrible communication and unprofessional service from start to finish. At end of day, I hired a local family owned company to install my gutters. I did not use this company and I never will. I feel compelled to write this review because of how Leaf Filter is currently treating a friend of mine who paid $6000 to have gutter installed in a 2000 square foot home. Long story short he had the system installed and noticed some minor damage/improper installation in one area due to some shingles not being moved properly. He did not contact them about this issue and removed the shingles himself. Tar had melted on a few spots by the time this was fixed but nothing huge. The real issue, and this is still ongoing, is he has been trying to communicate with the company to have another portion of the gutter system repaired for just about a month now. When he was moving one of the moving trucks accidentally backed into the gutter crushing it. He was very sad because the gutter’s has just been installed a few weeks before. He called the company the next day and after two or three attempts and long wait times on the phone he was able to schedule an estimate to have this repaired. This was about a month ago. Since then he has been in contact with someone from there service department almost daily, leaving messages on voicemail and sometimes with receptionists. He is waiting to hear back on the cost for the repairs but no one will return his calls. This has been an ongoing issue since the estimate was done about 3 weeks ago. It sounds like they outsource their calls to call center receptionists because the people he speaks with always tell him they cannot handle this problem and someone else will call him later in the day.End result here is I will never use this company, you shouldn’t and you should tell your friends to stay away. They have the worst customer service and clearly do not care about the job they do.

The Leaf Filter product is far superior to helmets which still allow debris in. There is absolutely nothing but water that can penetrate the Leaf Filter screens, which will not come loose like the DIY mesh, and they will last a lifetime plus! I have had my leaf filter for almost 2 years now. so far for the last 2 winters it has created more of a hazard for me and my family, than it has helped keep leaves out of the gutters. Every time it snows, the snow builds up on the leaf filter. Then when it melts, instead of going down the gutter, the water spills over the top and creates an ice patch on my sidewalk and driveway. I have contacted Leaf Filter several times about this. They came out and reset the guards a couple of times, but the water still pours over gutters. I finally got in touch with a Leaf Filter supervisor. He told me this was a known problem in Colorado. He told me I needed to install heat tape on the gutter so that the snow would melt into the gutter instead of flowing over. He told me he would send me the heat tape, but I would have to install it. I agreed. About 4 weeks went by and no heat tape. I called again and was told the heat tape would be sent. Its now been 8 months and I am still waiting for the heat tape. I will never do business with this company again, and I advise those I talk to about gutter systems to get the whole picture and ask lots of questions about performance during the fall and winter months before making the large investment of a gutter system. when I go to home shows, if I happen to see a booth from Leaf Filter, I stop and talk to them about my experiences with their company. all they can say is that they are sorry I had a bad experience. Oh well. A lesson learned. As an update, I got tired of dealing with them, so I took the leaf filters off the gutters. Took care of 95% of my problem.

We called MULTIPLE times over the next few weeks, often being put on hold for over half an hour. Sometimes we would reach a representative who would pacify us, saying a manager would be getting back to us later in the day. NEVER HAPPENED. Im very disappointed with the service department of this company. First the gutters were installed incorrectly, not under the drip edge and the down spout in the wrong place. The installer admittedly said he didnt look at the drawings before installing. Took about 5 or 6 phone calls to get a response from the service department. The installer left a mess around the house leaving sharp pieces of down spout and gutter, nails, screws around the yard and house. My dog was cut by one of these pieces left in the backyard. At first they said to send them the vet bills and they would take care of it, which I have sent to them. However, Ive not been able to get a response or reimbursement from their service department despite several phone calls, voicemails and emails. They finally fixed the down spout and installed gutters under the drip edge but thats it so far. These are pricey gutters and I would expect much better customer service. I would expect my animals not to be injured by discarded sharp pieces of metal causing emergency vet bills and time off work to have many follow up visits to the vet.

I’m writing this review in support of a friend and colleague who has been trying to get a problem resolved with Leaf Filter. He recently had a gutter protection system installed by LeafFilter in July and a few weeks later a section was damaged through no fault of the company. He has been trying to get this repaired and understands he will be responsible for the cost but is unable to reach the proper person. He has called the customer service phone number, messaged the team on Facebook and also wrote a review here on Google. Every person he has spoken with tells him someone else will contact him to schedule the repair. The replies here and on social media tell him to call the same number that he has been calling (this is not helpful). This has been ongoing for a month now. It looks as though the company uses one of those Internet reputation repair services to reply to negative comments because they have replied to every public comment with this same generic response. In a Facebook message he was told by LeafFilter that someone would contact him regarding this issue but no one has been in contact to schedule the repair. He has been given an estimate of a little over $500 to fix this and was told a small portion of the gutter around 20-30 feet needs to be replaced although the damage is only to a 4-5 foot portion. My biggest reason for leaving this review is that he was told by more than one representative that response times would be delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. This is understandable however the last person he spoke with (I was there to witness this conversation) was very rude in the way he said this. The representative said “I don’t know if you know this but there’s currently a pandemic and it is delaying response time of everyone who is working. We are considered an essential business and are working during this time. We will schedule your appointment when we can” My friend is a healthcare professional who has been involved in patient care since the beginning of this pandemic, he knows more than most how hard things are right now. It’s very frustrating to see my friend being disrespected by this company when all he wants is to have his new gutter system repaired. I do not recommend using this company after seeing the way he has been treated and reading other reviews. It also seems that the gutter guards cause problems in houses in Colorado due to ice forming over the gutter guards. This seems dangerous.

We had new gutters and the LeafFilter system installed on our house back in May and after the first rain storm in June we saw water running down the backside of the gutters making a waterfall. We contacted the Denver area office and the regional Director John Houston about having someone come out and fix the problem since if you stand under the new gutters you can see the screws and sunlight. they sent out a service rep Nick and he said that we needed flashing installed but it had not been on the work order because the sales rep Greg did not get up on the roof to check. we were originally told that they would fix it for free because it was their error, now they want $336 to fix their mistake. We have been trying to get this fixed since June and it is now September, LeafFilter does not respond to calls about fixing the problem. We have now submitted a BBB complaint about this company. Do not use this company since they do not care about the quality of their work nor will they honor their warranty. We will be talking to a Lawyer to see what next steps can be taken since John Houston and his Denver area crew do not want to take care of their mistake. They chose to send out contractor teams that do not speak English so you can not talk to the contractors, the contractors do not clean up the mess that they make, needless to say dealing with this company has been a complete and costly fiasco.

So this product they sell if as good as advertised, should be the best on the market; however, we will never know. Let me tell you our experience with this company...So the estimate for our 1800 sq. ft. house first came in at $6,444, which was pretty outrageous considering how easy they are to install; we were able to talk them down to $2504.00, which included a new second story gutter install upgrading our 4 in to 5 in to allow for the product to be installed. I still felt it was a bit pricy, but I was willing to spend the money on a quality product. My wife was suspicious this was a scam as she could not believe how much money they wanted at first. I will not quote the cost of install that is included in the $2500 but it was pricy; this is probably where this company makes a lot of their money. So I get a call from the store manager or whatever (I wont mention names) stating that they could move our install to an earlier date, I was like great lets do it! The man said it will be easy install since it is just the gutter guards. I reminded him that our job included a second story gutter installation. He said oh yeah, oh that will be ok still expect our guys to show between 9-11am. Again, this was a local or regional manager, no some intern scheduling this job.The installers that showed up were clearly subcontracted out. Sweet people who informed me that they didnt have gutters as they were told that there was no gutter installation on the house. They were apologetic and mentioned that this kind of thing happens more than you would think. I found out how little the installers get for the job with their visit and while I will not share that information as the installers were so nice I dont want to jeopardize their ability to make an honest buck, I will say that LEAFfilter was still making good money on our $2500 quote and the mark up on installation is embarrassing. It would be one thing if a truck with the company name on it and like 5 guys in uniform showed up, then I could maybe see where they were coming from with their installation pricing, but the guards come in 5 feet sections and just snap into the gutter, and may require a screw or two but I digress....The installers apologized once more and called in the mistake to the main office and told me that I should hear from the main office to reschedule the install within the next 24 hours. I waited 3 business days for a phone call. No call. Moreover our original install date has come and gone, with no communication, so we decided to cancel our order.I dont care if you have the best product on the planet, if you treat your customers this way and you under pay your installation guys you cannot guarantee that anything will be smooth and honestly unless they change their practices, their lifetime guarantee wont mean anything as they will go under eventually. Such a shame too, as again the product looks like it has so much potential, maybe one day you will be able to buy it at Home Depot or Lowes and we can cut out the middle man, then I would probably be willing to spend the money on the stuff and just install it myself.Good luck, hope this post is informative.

I would never again do business with this company or recommend them to family or friends. Very poor product. Have been dealing with this company since Aug of 2018 and they dont seen to put the customer first. I am very unhappy with there work and they never solve our problems with the Leaffilter gutters they installed. Upper management is a joke, they dont care if product is installed correctly, they just contract installers out to install whether they know what they are doing or not. Very unhappy. Time to report this company. One more thing, because I live in Colorado and it does snow, we get icicles build up in the winter when it snows which creates a ice rink on our sidewalks. They told me they could install a mesh with bigger holes that goes over the gutters to allow water to go down the drain. If that is the case, why didnt they offer that in the beginning. I question if mesh with bigger holes was installed when they came out to install new mesh. With the money we paid, it should work like they told us it would. Rip off, wish I never would of gone with this company. Does not get any stars. I did not rate it 2.7 stars, if I had a choice I would not give them any stars. I rated one star.

BUYER BEWARE! I would rate this zero stars if I could. Horrible experience. Stay away. So disappointed and frustrated with contact after installation, not to mention the awful installation job done on the house in the first place. I had no way of knowing if the product was initially installed correctly, but 3 months after the product was installed, we had a huge rainstorm. I happened to look out the window, and saw water just pouring over the side of the gutters. Contacted customer service, who sent a service rep to the house; he told me the job basically needs to be redone. I’ve had service guys at the house twice now, who both told me the job is a redo. But no one actually contacts you about getting it fixed; no calls or contact to actually get anything scheduled. I even had one person in customer service lie to me, and tell me that their records show that a service rep had been to the house and fixed everything; this absolutely did not happen. It is now 3 months after the rainstorm, and I have been going rounds with LeafFilter trying to get anyone to come out and fix it. I don’t even want to know what is going to happen when we get our first big snow (I’m in Colorado); not to mention when icicles are hanging off the gutters.I’ve even called the person who sold me the product; still no help. Boy, they train their salesmen well. Every day that goes by, I’m more and more sure that I was taken advantage of; a single woman, in her first house, worried about homeownership. He was telling me stories about the company’s founder, and stories about his family; he even said he was interested in my services (I’m a CPA) and he took my card. I fell for his stories hook, line, and sinker. I know nothing about home repairs, maintenance etc, and relied totally on the integrity and honesty that is company said they had; what a sham! LeafFilter got their money from me (over $3,500), and I have nothing but a product that is pretty much just thrown up on my house. I’m so upset and stressed about how much I paid, the awful installation, the awful customer service, the misleading salesman, and just the whole experience. This product was supposed to take away some of the stress of homeownership; I have done nothing but stress about this for 3 months. I have lost all faith in this product as a result of this experience. I plan to request my money back, and they can come take their product back.I have now read several other reviews on other websites, where other customers have described this exact same experience. Do your research! Don’t even let them get as far as having a sales rep give you a quote; avoid this company at all costs! I’m posting this review on as many websites as I can, and filing a complaint with Colorado Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau.

Nails everywhere! And panels appear to already be warping! Salesman then showed up demanding and we pay $4000 for a job we did not agree to!! As a 92-year-old homeowner I feel like I was taken advantage of!

If you live in a climate that snows or rains, I cannot recommend this Leaf Filter product. The very small screen used with this product becomes easily frozen completely rendering the gutter useless until thawed. Any significant amount of water runs over the top instead of in the gutter, also rendering gutter useless. In my first Spring, my front patio became a lake multiple times when Spring rains could not penetrate the small screens used by the Leaf Filter fast enough. In my first full winter, I ended up with 4 inches of solid ice on my front porch because the overhead gutter screens were frozen for weeks, and run-off could not penetrate. I have just placed my 4th service call, and am now requesting them to be removed. Techs show up and take pictures, but nobody from local office has ever called me back. Very frustrating!

Found this company on Home Advisor. I submitted the form for a free estimate and was contacted fairly quickly. Told her what I needed (an estimate to clean the gutters) and she made the appointment. She wanted to make sure my husband would be here. (For an estimate?) I was told that the estimator would also be telling us about new gutters and their filter to prevent the need for further cleanings. Not really what I want.Got a personal call soon after that, detailing a family emergency.I called the 800 number to cancel the appointment and the young man who answered was bery rude. He asked why I was canceling. I told him we had a family emergency and he hung up on me.I called back and got the same punk. I asked him didnt he need my name to cancel the appointment? He said no and just sat there. I said, so no one is going to show up at my house tomorrow, right? He said if I cancel it, no one will show up and he hung up on me again. There is no way Id do business with these people.

Being an installer for this company is a nightmare , the product does not work and if the customer does not pay , installers don’t get paid. The filter only causes the leafs to pile up on the gutter guard which means no flow of water in the gutters and the water flows off the gutter guard onto the ground making ice puddles , READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY!

Their customer service SUCKS. With the amount of money we spent, one would hope that someone would return phone calls. We have called numerous times to our sales rep Kelly De Jaynes and his boss Dave Moore without reply. We had issues with the installation, my husband had to take 2 full days off from work to help the single person they sent to install the gutters. I truly hope that if I have a problem with their gutters that they will back their guarantee.

Leaf Filter got our names and contact information without our knowledge while at a home and garden show and we had not stopped at their booth. Allie insisted that we had stopped. We did not see their booth at the show. Researching their reviews, we discovered that the product and workmanship were inferior to other systems. We cannot recommend them due to their questionable business practices.

Update: May 2019Very light rain storm and the water is pouring over my rain gutters with the leaf filter system on it. This is right above my front door. Similar runoff issues over the garage. See photo.Avoid this product! Better to pay someone for 10-years to clean your gutters than to pay for this system that causes more problems than it solves. And cheaper too.-------------------------------------------------------------------This is an update to review I previously posted, however, my updates to that post have exceeded Google Reviews character limit. So -Update: 17 Apr 2019Wow talk about company culture. So after posting my complaint to the Better Business Bureau I get another visit from an individual who represented himself as a manager.I told him the story and showed pictures and videos. I told him what I wanted was their product removed from my house and a full refund. He requested they be allowed to try a different filter mesh and if that did not address my concerns he said I could have a full refund. I asked him to put it in writing and he said he would. He also promised he would personally supervise all visits after that and would deliver the letter with the promises he made.Well today another install team showed up - without the manager and stated they would not honor the promises the manager had made and would not give me the letter he promised. So basically their marketing teams at the home improvement shows, make statements that they have a money back guarantee - that is not true and they will not honor. They have managers who make promises that again they will not honor. The company does not provide full disclosure of known issues with their product and you are left holding the bag with no recourse when those problems inevitably arise, and you will have problems.Their sales reps operate in a highly questionable manner and will not give you a fair and honest representation of how the product has many problems. Their sales reps engage in some rather, what I consider, unscrupulous practices.I cannot stress firmly enough STAY AWAY from this company and this product. It causes more issues that it resolves. DO NOT sign any agreements or documents with them until you thoroughly research the company and the product. My issues boil down to these points:- Marketing reps do not give a full honest disclosure- Sales reps - same - no disclosures about product issues; plus questionable sales tactics- Marketing reps make statements regarding guarantees that the company will not honor- Managers make promises that the company will not honor- Using this product in a cold environment - you WILL have major icicle issues - potentially MAJOR homeowner liability issues- Using this product where you may have heavy downpours, will result in water overflowing your gutters

Great experience. I had a free quote which came to about 2500$ for the front and back of my small house (approx 50ft of gutter). When the contractors came to complete the job they said the gutters and some facia board needed to be replaced before they could install the leaf filter kit. My initial contact Dave had given me his word they complete the job for $2500, so they covered the cost of the gutter fixes. I bet this isnt the case for everyone but likely because my house was so small. Either way they were honest, upfront, and have a good product. One year in and they look fine. FYI during hard rain, water sometimes goes over the sides, and held up fine with the snow.

We had a sales rep come out to our house and it seemed like a good company. Then he quoted $4000.00 but the he took it down to $1700.00.Wha a big diffrence. We said yes and they called the next day and they would be out to install that Tuesday between 9 & 11.. I took the day off from work to home when they installed it. At noon I called and he supervisor said he could not get aholdof him and I even tried but no answer. I rescheduled for that Saturday. I received a call fro the installer at 5:30pm and he said that his cell phone broke and he could not call or gps our home. When my husband got home from work I told what happened and we talked about it and decided to cancel. We have not heard from anyone. Glad we didnt go with them

So many issues it isnt even funny its ridiculous. Ive called corporate and I keep getting redirected to the Denver office. I refuse to let one of their supervisors on my property anymore.! They leak worse than my old gutters biggest mistake Ive ever made. I held up ny end of the deal as I owe one more payment they dont hold up theirs!!!

This product should not be installed over north facing doors in snowy areas. The filter fills with snow and does not allow water from melting snow to go into the gutter. This results in icicles dripping water which turns to ice directly in front of a door. Someone will eventually get hurt and sue the home owner and Leaf Filter.
