Great helmet, outstanding customer service!

Ive had the LS2 Strobe helmet for about a month now and I love it. The only down side is with the pop open face part, where the nose flap sits lower than my nose so it really doesnt help keep the breath off the visor but thats what the pin locks are for. Buying a pin lock insert is a pain in the arse though since I cant figure out which one is made for this unit. Im not about to buy online without thoroughly researching it. Based on what Ive seen so far is there isnt a pin lock made for this helmet, instead I have to guess that the visor for the electric defog helmet is the same as mine and take a chance buying that insert. LS2 really needs to hire a better marketing team if they expect to ride with the pack instead of eating dust.

After failed attempts to contact business regarding a missing bolt on an modular helmet, I called them directly. I was informed they had these in stock, but I would be required to purchase the missing part. This is a two year old helmet. One of the twoposts or pins that the chin bar must snap on to to securely hold the chin bar in place. They informed me this was a wear and tear item. I pointed out that no where in their literature, does it mention any type of required maintenance needs to be performed on these pins. The pin is probably a dime part and would cost the price of stamp and envelope to mail a replacement. Yes, the purchase price was less than three dollars, but felt shouldnt have to pay for an item that should have never of came loose in the first place. Buyer beware.....it maybe come with a 5 year warranty, but it is useless as LS2 doesnt provide the customer support.

Poor quality customer service. Poor quality helmets. Visor nut popped off on the highway. Costumer service claims this is normal wear and tear that is not covered under warranty. They did provide a part number and a list of their retailers, however the retailers dont carry the part. I offered to purchase the part directly from them and was told they could not fulfill the request.
