I had a screen replaced on a Samsung Note 8 quickly and with little effort on my part. The techs were friendly and helpful. Replacement parts were already in stock so the whole process took about an hour. Along with the screen they replaced the battery as part of normal service. My phone just got a new lease on life. I’m very happy and will come back when I next need technical support for my phones or tablets.

Came in with an issue I wasnt sure they could fix, they had it done within hours. They told me that if the issue was more complex it wouldnt be worth spending the money on repair, and I appreciate that they had the customer not money in mind. Very good service.

I had a moment of dumb luck and my iPhone 11 screen unfortunately cracked after 2ft drop. I was thinking to get a replacement screen and repair it myself at first but I knew it would not be an OEM panel and functions such as True Tone would not work without transferring cover board number with a programmer, which I don’t have, plus I had to transfer front camera and sensors from old to new screen, which is a very fragile and annoying process to do.I realized that I have insurance with my carrier and created a claim. The whole process was done online and fast, I chose this UBREAKIFIX Aurora location and was skeptical at first, because some reviews on Yelp was indicating that they use third party parts for Apple devices and overall quality of repair was poor. I decided to give it a shot anyway.When I arrived, the personal was friendly and knowledgeable, they explained to me that the parts they use is OEM and they recently received certification by Apple to perform any repairs on Apple devices. They had a replacement panel available. It took me less then 5 minutes to process everything and they told me that phone will be ready in less then an hour. I called them 2 hours later and the phone was ready to pick up.I was amazed to see that replacement panel is in fact OEM, TrueTone and 3D Touch works as intended. No dead pixels, no scratches, Face id, front face camera, everything works as it was repaired by Apple. No signs that phone was opened, no scratches from pick or spudger. It was really fast to process and I am surprised and very satisfied with the repair. Very happy to see that finally a third party repair shop can receive certification by Apple and perform quality repairs and order OEM parts. I wish them good business and can definitely recommend this location for a repair.

Brought my PS4 in because it wouldnt start. Staff were friendly and everything, but I paid for a new hard drive then when I got home I turned on my PS4 to the exact same problem I had brought it in for. Frustrated that I spent so much money to not be fixed.

Hands down coolest shop. You need something fixed they can fix it, lots of parts inventory to fix on site. Had my work phone worked on not even an hour it took. I was told that I would have to buy a new screen after they figured they would break it while taking it apart. The battery had expanded and was putting pressure on the screen. And how did you determine the battery was expanded without opening the phone, I asked? Well the screen has a slight bow to it. I brought it back home and put a metal level on it and held it up to the sunlight as I moved it back and forth and up and down. There is no bow or bump or anything. No light came through at any part of the test. Not a damn thing wrong. The only thing good about that experience was that I got out of there without paying anything. Easy come easy go and never again

UPDATE TO OWNER REPLY: I physically brought my phone in to get a quote for repair. They were fully aware of the type of phone I needed to be repaired at the time the quote was given.Beware of illegal business practices!I took my phone in to be repaired and James said I had a damaged screen and quoted me $110. I agreed to pay $110 and even offered to pay up front, however, he told me to wait to pay until after the repair incase something else needed to be done. I asked them to call me if anything else needed to be done because my phone is not that expensive and I would consider replacing it instead of investing in a costly repair. They agreed and put the note in their system to not do anything extra to my phone without my permission.The next day, James left a message on my home phone letting me know my cell phone was repaired and ready to pick up. He stated they replaced my screen and flipped a switch which normally trips due to water damage, but there was no water damage in my phone.When I went to pick my phone up, the cashier charged me $150. I asked why the additional change. He said my phone had water damage. I told him when James called, he specifically stated there was no water damage. The cashier back tracked and said he misspoke; there was no water damage, but they had to flip a switch. I told the cashier there was a note in my file that asked them not to do additional work to my phone without permission. He confirmed that note was in my file. I asked the cashier to honor the price they quoted me and he would not. I then spoke with the manager and he did not honor their quote. They brought James out and he said it was possible he quoted me for the wrong type of phone. Regardless, they did not honor the price they quoted me.I explained to them this is a bait and switch and it is illegal, but it did not phase them. I implore anyone considering doing business with this location to be leery of their illegal and unethical business practices.

Worst service ever! They told me it would take two hours to fix my screen, so I dropped it off at 2. Went back up there on my lunch break at 4:30, and they still didn’t have it ready. they asked me to come back in 30 minutes, and then to come back closer to 6. It didn’t make sense to drive all the way back to work and try to get away and come back, so i risked extended my lunch for the phone. 6 hits and it’s still not ready, and they need to keep it overnight 😫 waste of my time and a risk of losing my job.

Long story short if you’re an Apple user, just take your phone to Apple.Took my phone in to get the screen replaced about a month ago just to get it back and have the SIM card not work. I paid them to replace the SIM card reader after they said it wasn’t their fault and that they’d replace it for a “discount”. Yesterday my phone fell off my couch, ONTO CARPET and my screen was nothing but pixels. I was planning on taking it back to them but instead figured I should try Apple as I’d already given them $300. Apple said they could replace the screen for the SAME price they charged me, HOWEVER after Apple opened up the phone they said whoever fixed the screen recked the inside of the phone so bad that Apple couldn’t even replace the screen. Tell me how I did that to the inside of my phone for a less then one foot fall onto carpet? The guy then informed me that the SIM card reader (that I had to have them replace after they fixed my screen, which was working perfectly fine before) was broken because of them and there were STILL old parts from the original sim reader in the phone. Apple also said that there were metal pieces bent and manipulated inside the phone, don’t think you should have to mess with the inside of the phone to fix a screen lol but what do I know. But they wanted to blame ME for the broken SIM card reader and I ended up paying them to replace it. I ended up having to pay Apple $400 for a replacement phone. Save your money and just go to Apple. I don’t have Apple care and yet they were the same price as this joke of a store. Ibreakupay…

Was recommended to come here by another store to get the glass over my phones camera lenses replaced.Was greeted by their friendly staff, and given a quote on the repair within a few minutes. The repair only took an hour, and my phone looks factory fresh once again! Would recommend to anyone needing glass replaced!

Very satisfied! My PS4 needed to be repair because of the freezing and rebooting. I took it in Tuesday and it was done the next day. They called and said it was a quick fix. They didn’t charge me for it. I was beyond happy because I thought it was a couple of $100. Their communication was awesome. I had a text and email on my status. May 19, 2021I am still not very satisfied, but this time with the right ones. I spoke to Store Manager Will and he explained everything. He was very kind and assured me that he was working diligently to resolve my claim issues. It was out of his control....It was due to a system interface issue.The correct ones to be upset with is Asurion via Amazon. Asurion seemed to have too quickly branched out to selling protection plans to all the phone carriers and electronics vendors before stablilizing their IT infrastructure.Its not Wills or the guys fault. I have had great work done buy this shop on other phones.Its those agressive marketing and sales people who are too anxious to go live when not ready. And, those developers who are outsourced and dont understand the real world.I should know. Ive managed IT projects for years.Nonetheless, I am very disappointed with the end to end process.UBREAKIFIX on Quincy just happens to be in the middle of it.It now seems that in 2 weeks I will get a gift card credit to purchase a replacement. And another week to order it and receive it from Amazon. By the way, the price of the phone increased by $ 80....Not their fault but I am still upset about the inconvenience.Ive upgraded their rating. They are not Asurion directly.May 18, 2021I am having a bad experience with this location currently but have had good service in the past.I brought a Samsung phone there today. They told me that the serial number was not on the claim and that they could not therefore process.They gave me the serial number and asked me to get Asurion to update it. I did which required a great deal of patience waiting to speak to a real person.Still in the store, I asked the staff member to check to see if the serial number had been updated to his system. It had not. I left the device will assurance that the claim would be processed. They told me that they would update me shortly by phone. They did not.I called them and was told that the store manager was on the phone getting the matter resulted, as we spoke. I was promised a call back in a few minutes. It never happened.I called Amazon as this device was under an Amazon Asurion protection plan. Amazon transferred me to Asurion who said that UBreakIFix should not be having this problem. The Asurion representative put UBreakIFix on a 3 way call.The manager was almost certain that they could not process my claim due to a known system problem. He said that he had been trying to get the matter resolved. He just did not update me, as promised.He quickly offered for me to pick up my phone (not repaired) minutes after saying that he was working on processing my claim.I then insisted that he continue to get the matter resolve. He, Asurion and I were in agreement.I did not have high expectations.Will called back an explained, without apology, that they was nothing here could do because he does not write the system code forbmy type of claim. He said that there is a known system issue for which there is no workaround. I will update this post.Now I must drive another 10 miles, in addition to the first 10 miles, just to get back to poit zero.This has been my experience on May 18, 2021. ...Not a good one. Previous experiences were much better, but not this one.Regards

First time I ever heard that pixel bleeding is not covered under warranty while Samsung & IPhone both cover that under warranty.In short these guys are theives & will do anything to get your money, they will even break your phone & say it was already broken. STAY AWAY

I needed my phone fixed. Called for a quote they would need a deposit and would have to order the part and it would take up to a week to get it done. I called another place got in the same day. My phone was fixed within 45 minutes and 50% cheaper.

I have been happy with the service received at this location until today. Long story short, I’ve had them repair my phone twice since March. After the first repair, the screen popped out of the frame and broke the glass. Took it in, under warranty, fixed with no issues. The EXACT same thing happened this past weekend, dropped from a very short distance and the screen popped out of the frame AGAIN, and broke the glass. My problem. They told me that the warranty is void because of the broken glass. It was broken last time too and they had no problem fixing it then. Then told me I would have to pay $240 AGAIN to get it fixed, when they are the ones who messed it up in the first place. I’ve had iPhones for 8 years, and I’ve never had the screen pop out of the frame until I had this location “repair” my phone. Not a happy customer at all. I will never recommend them to anyone.

I was having trouble with my cell phone charging and they took a quick look. They cleaned out the charging port and gave it back to me working perfectly without charging me a dime. I made sure to tip the two employees I worked with.A+ for honesty as they easily could have told me that parts needed to be replaced. I had a 3DS with a broken A button a while back, and when I got the console back they busted it to the point where it can’t turn on. Had to spend $60 on a 2DS to replace it because of these people’s lazy work.

Highly recommend!! Very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and quick. My daughters phone needed the glass piece on her camera replaced, a screw needed tightened and they replaced her battery all in less than an hour. Both of the gentlemen that helped me were very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Well definitely go back for any other repairs we need in the future.

Warranty work was required on an iPhone that my nephew dropped, and subsequently broke.Willl walked me through the process of getting the phone replaced or fixed and he explained everything to me concisely. Will was very accommodating as I mediated my phone insurance claim through Asurion.I dont know what else this place fixes but I like the staff that works here and I trust their professionalism too.I wish I couId have had these guys as an insurance option instead of Asurion. I will return if I need some other electronic serviced.

Went in to get my phone fixed free of charge because it was still under warranty. They changed the motherboards and broke my backglass on my galaxy note 10 plus and had me pay for it. It wasn my fault they wasnt careful taking off the backglass . So not satisfied with my service.

Took my phone in because the battery swelled and pushed out of the case. Phone was working perfectly, just needed a new battery. The receipt even said, condition - flawless. no scratches, marrs or defects. After the battery replacement, within 4 hours the screen started showing lines and a green tint.Took the phone back in and the staff blamed me. Said I must have damaged it because it had an imperceptible hairline crack. BS. They broke it and now refuse to fix it.DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Amateur and rude staff and incompetent repair.

Fast and awesome service

Overall they did a good job and fixed my phone. I didn’t like the undisclosed $20 I had to pay. When I was given the final price and it was $20 more than quoted price, I paid but when I looked at the copy of the receipt the extra $20 was not on it. So I have no idea what it was for. Maybe some additional warranty they sold to me without letting me know :) not sure but I think it’s dishonest and won’t be returning.

Quality service. The fingerprint scanner on my phone didnt work after replacing my screen (Google Pixel 3 XL). I brought it back the next day and they fixed it free of charge. Definitely going back, but minus 1 star for having to return to get the scanner fixed

Been to uBreakiFix twice because we are a clumsy iPhone family. Both phones were returned as if brand new!! I have used other glass replacement services, the glass never felt right in the past. These guys use authentic repair parts. Much appreciated team! Feel confident dropping off anything!

These guys are great! After using a toothpick, Q-Tip, and compressed air, I was convinced the charging port on my iPhone 7 Plus was broken. I took it in to uBreakiFix and they took the phone in the back for two minutes and were able to fish out even more lint or dust in the charging port -- No charge! Very honest and professional business, highly recommended.

They have fixed my iPad ride and did a great job both times. They were faster than they quoted and the price was very reasonable.

Ive been here twice and they couldnt help me. Above all else they said the could at first. I waited over 5 hours. (The 2 times 10 hours) With no results!!! Totally trash. Lets call it uBreakiBreakmoreFor what its worth the customer service was outstanding. But while having my screen replaced the techs broke my microphone and had to order another one. They replaced it, and it didnt work, so they ordered ANOTHER one. Then, they broke my phone case putting it back on. THEN, they used a heater to melt the glue to remove the back to replace my phone once again, and fried my SD card. Had ALL of my pictures and my games on it. Not worth the $180 it cost just to replace my screen. All of these repairs (and subsequent breaks) took about a month total. I was patient because of how nice everyone was, but the skill level of the technicians is to be desired.

I dont care whats wrong with your phone these guys can fix it. Warranty work? No problem, I just had my week old Pixel 3 screen break. Sprint couldnt do the work or even order the parts. It took 2 hours at uBreakiFix, less than a hundred fifty bucks and its as good as new. I wanted to hug the guy behind the counter but I dont think that was proper on our first meeting.
