On hold always for over an hour. No way to schedule an in home service on large appliances. Takes a week to get product fixed. You practically have to demand that they look up your warranty. 3 years with Washer dryer purchased new and already both need repairs! Never again

I had an appointment back in July to get my screen fixed, they told me they couldnt do it cause of some program to calibrate the screen after repair wasnt running and that they would call me in a couple of days. It is now September and Im still waiting for that call. Ive been calling since then and no one answers, the phone just rings and rings. Best Buy employees have put me on Geek Squad call back que and STILL cant get a call back..terrible service they provide

A Geek Squad van going westbound on Mississippi Ave ran the red light in front of the Buckley AFB gate at 3:45pm on 9 July, nearly crashing into traffic from the base that had begun to turn. When I pulled up next to them at the next light, the employee who was driving was chatting on her cell phone, which I saw her using as she blew the red light. She had the audacity to get indignant at me when I yelled to get off her phone and pay attention because she ran a red light (She threw her hands up, rolled her eyes, and said Oh my God)If this is the type of employee Geek Squad hires, Im sure this one-star review is warranted. If they cant be trusted even to pay attention while driving, how could they be trusted to fix expensive electronics?

Best agents - best service. Very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, and patient. They exhibited a genuine willingness to assist in resolving all issues with regard to my computer. Very engaging and all had a stellar demeanor. Top Notch from beginning to end of service appointment.

I was pretty disappointed when I went into the store to try and get my Nintendo Switch repaired as per the website a membership dedicated to supporting all the tech in your home - no matter where or when you bought it and I was told that Geek Squad is for purchases made through Best Buy. This would be considered false advertisement. Very dissatisfied.

Long hold times, you get transferred from one person to the next. I also asked for a supervisor and was on hold for 45 minutes, and shes extremely rude.

Garbage. These guys overcharge massively and what you receive for the Geek Squad subscription in the first place (at an exorbitant price) is confusing and left intentionally ambiguous. I brought my computer here for a check-in and they send it off to corporate and tell me I need my motherboard replaced. They provide no other options and no explanation of the problem whatsoever, but I agree and they charge a ridiculous amount for it and the diagnostic despite an existing Geek Squad subscription (what did I even buy this for?)Computer malfunctioning and not holding charge after a month and a half with THEIR new battery and motherboard. I bring it back and they tell me theyre only willing to do fixing diagnostics on computers within the first month, which Ive just missed because when this happened it was over the holidays. Eventually, through a ridiculous amount of badgering, I manage to convince them to waive the charges and fix their mistake, but with absolutely no ease whatsoever. The entire time, the employees are rude and condescending.I finally receive my computer back after it took longer than they indicated it would to fix. When I get it back, the computer is completely wiped. They should not have touched anything related to the memory whatsoever, and they tell me this as well. Years of hard work, documents, photos, etc. all gone. They tell me theyll take this to corporate and that I can take it home and use it until they get a response. I doubt this logic but think hey, theyre tech people and Im not, so I go home and use it, only to be called five hours later saying dont do that, we were wrong and by this point Ive obviously made a new account and its too late. They say theyll take it to corporate and I call them month after month and go in to inquire and nothing. Zip. They keep promising things and eventually I just gave up.The employees here are ridiculously rude and Geek Squad as a whole is wildly obtuse and manipulative.

Purchased an Open Boxed product. Took it home, had an issue from the start. Geek Squad fixed. They had a hard time, and it took a longer than I expected to fix the problem. A problem that an employee said the product I purchased should have never been put out for sale with the issue it had. Slipped through the cracks, I guess. But, overall, Im satisfied.

Employees are rude majority of the time. I brought in my computer to see if they could fix it and they straight up turned me away with out taking a look at it. They said that they didnt have the parts for it and they didnt even know what I came in for they just didnt want to work. When i finally got the guy to check it he just looked at it didnt even look at the model or maker and just said cant help you. Also lady in charge of customer services is obnoxious, loud, and rude. Do not go here! You will be better taken care of at a independently owned repair shop. To add injury to insult if you buy at best buy your items are more likely to break and you will get pointed towards geeksquad home of the rude and not very helpful. Just save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else to buy your tech. Try Micro Center for computers, and other tech. Or order online, straight from the companies. The only thing I would buy at Best buy would be movies, and cds or anything that doesnt involve geeksquad.

I signed up for Geek Squad when I bought my Galaxy S8 Plus because it was less than Sprint. They said that it would only be $50 to fix back screens and $150 for front. They told me this when I signed up. So the back screen shattered, I go in to get fixed and they tell me that they only replace the whole phone and they want over $200. Ended up finding another place that was certified and fixed for $59. Dont sign up for Geek Squad! You dont need it because its not worth the money!

I went to one of the geek squad workers there and I was telling him I deleted windows completely, and that I needed to make a boot usb which is the solution to the problem, he tries telling me that I don’t know what I’m talking about and that you aren’t able to download windows onto a usb and that I should go home and bring the computer back so he can do the exact same thing because my computer has no disc tray so to download an operating system I need a boot usb, so I left the store and went to micro center and said I needed a boot usb because I deleted windows and the guy there knew exactly what I was talking about and helped me out

Spent almost $4500.00 on a complete asus system w/uhd monitor, bose sound, bluray dvd player, MS Office home premium, and had a usb restore drive made, so now after 3yrs wanted to restore to pre Windows 10 and they wont tell me the procedure to restore it, Ill have to take it back in or a home visit whuch will cost more money! Dont be fooled by the original sale niceness to sell you anything because they will stick it to you later.

The guarantees they offer are crap. They are a hoax, pay the warranty for one year and when you are going to change an item because it broke, they tell you that you have to pay an extra to be able to replace the item. Damn pickpockets.
