TRG did excellent work from start to finish. I spilled a glass of water on my MacBook and thought for sure I had damaged it. TRG was the only authorized apple service provider I called that could fit me in immediately for servicing. Their rates are great and both people I dealt with at the store were nice to deal with and very experienced. I live 35 minutes away so while really out of the way I would go back if I ever needed servicing again.

Having just switched from a PC to a Mac, I booked a service appointment with John, to resolve connection issues between my Mac mini and screen. Im quite careful clicking on pop-ups, but I guess this time I wasnt. I downloaded malware, and tried various ways to remedy the problem myself. When I couldnt delete the malware, I reached out to TRG Computer Solutions, because theyre an authorized Apple problem fixer. The staff was really helpful right off the bat, they told me to download a free anti-virus/malware program, run it, and if the problem persists to call them back to book an appointment. When I ran the program, several other issues were caught and dealt with, but unfortunately the program couldnt get to the root of the malware I had recently downloaded. So I booked an appointment, and took my computer in. I had prepared myself for the inevitability of formatting my MacBook Air, because Id be running it for 6 years, and I was ok with deleting everything so I could start fresh. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, and we agreed that formatting and reinstalling the iOS would be the best move. So thats what they did. I didnt necessarily need help reinstalling the iOS, but I asked if I could do it at the store, in case I ran into a problem. And they were kind enough to do it for me. The kindest part of all this was that, because Im a student, Im financially strapped, they offered to format and reinstall the iOS at no charge! I was, and am very grateful. If I have any other issue with my computer, Im taking it to TRG, no doubt! I recommend them 100%.

My MacBook decided to go crazy and after spending an hour on the phone with apple care they directed me to TRG. I must say going forward I rather just go straight to them than to even bother calling Apple.John was great from the start- super friendly and helpful. They right away reassured me that they can fix my laptop and not to worry about my data getting wiped. They kept me updated with the progress throughout the day and fixed my laptop with no issues. Great customer service! highly recommend.

Amazing staff, amazing service. Brought my Mac in because of a noisy fan and they not only cleaned it, they also caught other issues which I was not aware of and fought Apple to cover it. When I received my Mac back it was like getting a completely new computer: clean, running smoothly, and no more noisy fan. Could not recommend these guys more!

I can appreciate that we are certainly living in unique times given COVID19 and all but I called TRG a couple times in hopes of booking an appointment based on guidance from Apple. After few attempts I finally got someone live (previously only voicemail).I was a bit caught off guard when someone answered so I asked is this TRG Computer Solutions? The gentleman responded thats what I said when I answered the phone didnt I?Anyhow, I apologized for missing his greeting and went on to mention that Apple had suggested I book an appointment with TRG to have my keyboard replaced on my macbook. I was literally mid sentence explaining the issue when I was abruptly cut off and told were busy and booking out 1 week for repairs. Anyhow, it was clear the person answering the phone lacked any semblance of customer service skills so I have chosen to take my business elsewhere.

I have dealt with these guys for a few years now and they are the best in the business. They are very professional and fast, they know there stuff and are very honest. I now live in Denmark and have not come close to finding anyone as knowledgeable about my apple products as these guys. I will not hesitate to send my computer over seas for them to deal with, that is how good they truly are!

Based on other reviews it seems like this is a great business, but in my experience I cannot recommend them. My issue was incorrectly diagnosed multiple times leading to multiple repairs, and after I finally had enough, they were opposed to providing even a partial refund. Instead I was threatened with even more costs if I wanted my computer ficed because they gave me a deal. My computer is now less functional than when I brought it in. I hope my experience (and it appears thats the case) is an outlier, but overall I felt like they didnt put effort into fixing my computer, and were happy to continue charging me for as many repairs as they could get out of me.

I had a serious issue with my external hard drive, where the port was broken and I couldn’t retrieve or back up my data.While I was at work, I sent my mother to Apple where I purchased the external drive but was unsuccessful as they do not fix or deal with drives. The fellow who worked at Apple told my mom to take the drive over to TRG in Aurora.When she called to inquire the gentleman who answered the phone - Mike, calmed her down and asked her to bring in the drive to have a look.All in a panick that I would lose my data, she arrived at TRG and was happily greeted by the men working there. John was amazing!!! He first calmed her down and without hesitation explained to her what he was going to do. He opened my drive and tried two methods to save my data. He was very patient and knowledgeable. He explained to my mom what he was doing and was successful in saving ALL my data!The service was quick and very reasonably priced for the excellent service she was provided.My mom and I HIGHLY recommend TRG Computer Solutions.Thank you for saving all my data!

Rude not helpful asking Specific question just wanted my computer to diagnose. cash grab..........As you see in there response I got. Wasnt listening it was an 2007 iMac not a MacBook Pro. Wrote me off right away. Surprised by this seeing they were highly recommended by the apple store as the place to go to get more Ram.

When I came into the shop I should have listened to my gut that these guys were not the consummate professionals that these reviews would have you believe. The man at the counter could hardly contain the fact that I was wearing a nice dress and immediately started making inappropriate comments to me, even addressing some scuff marks on my computer by saying oh shes a girl who likes it rough. I almost puked right there but I had already been to the Apple store and knew these guys were my only hope at a new battery. I paid $350 for the repair and new battery and took the computer home to discover I had a new problem, the screen was glitching. I didnt have time to take it back in because I travel a lot for work and was leaving the next day and need my computer for work but I told them about the problem right away. Then my computer stopped working completely and I took the computer into the local apple store for a new diagnostic and they found there was irreparable damage to the motherboard and it would cost me $900.00 to fix. I let TRG know and they said that they had run diagnostics after the repair and found nothing to be wrong, and when I asked for a refund because I had to get an entirely new computer they conveniently stopped responding. Id skip this place and go somewhere else if A. you are a woman and B. You want to leave the store with a fixed computer and not a whole bunch of new problems.UPDATE: after I wrote this review I was told I would be contacted but never was. Skip this place and go someplace else!

The short version:Took my iMac in for repair at TRG because it was crashing. TRG attributed the crashing to my RAM, which was wrong. This caused me so many issues with Apple and I wasnt able to work for a long time because of it.Long version:My iMac started crashing and I was instructed by Apple Support to bring it in for repair at TRG. I was using 3rd party RAM with my iMac, so I gave them the original iMac RAM and 3rd party RAM to test them both. They contacted me back saying that the machine was perfect with original RAM and the 3rd party RAM was most likely the cause of the issue. I knew this wasnt true because I tested the original RAM with my computer and it crashed... So I take it home, and within 30 minutes of use (with the original RAM) it crashed! In their report they attributed the issue to the 3rd party RAM, which caused me SO MUCH TROUBLE with getting support from Apple. Finally, Apple discovered it was an issue with the harddrive and are sending a replacement. I feel really bad writing a negative review because the people are nice here. At the same time, the incorrect report they sent to Apple and their inability to diagnose the issue really messed me up.

My first experience with TRG was when my Mac desktop needed a new hard drive. They diagnosed it quickly and repaired quickly and it was nice to have an Apple authorized retailer near my home.My second experience with TRG was when my daughters phone suddenly stopped working. They worked tirelessly to diagnose the problem and in the end, even though it couldnt be repaired, they spent a lot of time trying to recover the data and transfer it to her new phone.I really appreciate their friendly attitude and the fact that I dont need to go to the mall and make an appointment at an Apple Store to have my products serviced.

Went in today for a keyboard fix on my brand new macbook pro, I was expecting to pay and right away they told me I had warranty and everything was covered. I made an appointment thinking it was today and unfortunately it was tomorrow. They still took good care of me and created the work order right away. One of the most honest shops I have been to, and John cares about your business and your product. I hate going to the malls for a fix and this shop will do it all for you. Will be back again Thank You! Ill give an update on the repair once I get the laptop back.

Great experience getting our MacBook Pro repaired here. Very professional, pleasant, and helpful staff, especially Mike.Our laptop was kind of working, but had issues and needed a logic board replacement; the Apple Store at Upper Canada Mall wanted to keep it for 5-7 days and refused to offer us any sort of loaner, or let us hold on to it and bring it in when it was our turn. We would be without our main computer for a full WEEK. This was after already waiting a week to even get an appointment, and spending over half an hour in the store during our appointment.TRG on the other hand gave an appointment quickly; Mike took only a few minutes during the appointment, kept it for just 1 day for a diagnosis, then let us take it home while they waited for the part to arrive, then once he had the part we brought it in and it was repaired in 1 day. So we spent a total of 2 separate days without the computer as opposed to a week straight without it if we went with Apple.Thanks TRG! Well be sure to come to you guys instead of the Apple store next time one of our Macs has an issue.

Super helpful and professional. Took my iMac there with a burned lcd. They checked it and connected it to another monitor to show that the lcd is burned. Gave me options to buy a monitor anywhere and save on the cost. Didn’t charge me anything. I tried another monitor and decided to fix my iMac. Went back. They replaced it in a few days. Updating my previous review. There was a bit of a misunderstanding and the person who helped me on the first day had to travel for a couple of weeks, hence the slight initial delay in my request. But they called me back as soon as my parts were available, I took the computer in and the upgrade of harddrive and RAM were done in less than 24hrs.Really happy with the experience.By the way, guys, the computer feels awesome. Its like having a new computer. Hahah.And their price was actually lower than the three other places I contacted around Richmond Hill and Markham.
