Best place I have ever been to get my haircut. They greet you when walking in, offer you a beverage, and do a great job cutting my hair. I also bring my family in from time to time to get their haircuts as well. They have arcade games, air hockey, and foosball to keep them busy. Also have big comfy couches to watch TV while waiting. I also appreciate their communication about scheduling, always sending reminders, which helps me a ton. I cannot say enough great things about this establishment. This place is the best I have ever went to, the staff is so friendly. I was greeted right when I walked into the door, asked if I had an appointment (yes you need one, but I know understand why) got offered a drink. I came early relaxed as I listened to everyone, I didnt expect such a fun environment. I have never been so happy with my hairs days later, this is my new place next time I might even try a pedicure.

Such a great experience, been going to the same person for 9 years can’t find them anymore. From the moment I walked into this place it was inviting. Even the guys who where waiting greeted me, almost felt like they were my long time friends. Got to pick my drink which made it even more relaxing. Most relaxing shave experience. I can tell they are highly trained in their profession. Conversation was great who knew they loved sports as much as me. Each tv had something knew in it and I even got to change the channel to what I wanted (I didn’t end up watching it but I loved I finally got the choice. Lol) this is top a notch place with amazing service and quality staff. Loved how well they get along and they all help each other out. So I have been a regular here until today.I was 10 mins late which was my mistake and I totally accept it and did say sorry to the hairstylist.But does that mean I deserve a bad haircut? Or no welcome at all?I have been here for a long time now and today have probably received my worst ever haircut by tesha.The owner sounded rude as I was checking out because I was late and I did say sorry again.You could have just asked me to not get a haircut if I was late instead of giving me a bad haircut.I respect every local business during these tough times but this is unacceptable.

I have been coming to this barbershop since I came to Colorado a year ago. These ladies are not only amazing, they are smart, funny, know their sports and love what they do. Over the year of getting to know them I love the fact, the owner is always there and takes care of not only us men coming in but the staff there as well. Love this place, and the staff is like know other. They are always laughing and happy. I love that when I have an appointment, I get in and dont have to wait. I wish I worked at a place like this! They get to take trips every year together in which the company takes care of. Its nice to know that there are still business that take care and value their people. One reason I shop small businesses in which the owner is present.

First time there....great local “barber shop”, tailored for guys. Waiting area has lounge chairs, TV’s all set to sports channels, drinks available (beer). What’s not to like? Best of all, I got a great haircut. I can’t remember the last time I had a straight edge razor trim. Plus, the scented hot towel facial was wonderful. Reasonably prices as well.

Finally made the jump from a chain cut to something more personal. I was sick of having to re cut my hair when I got home. Jules knocked my cut out of the park and gave me a lot of tips on how to maintain it between cuts. Definitely made a new customer for as long as I call colorado home.

I needed my beard trimmed, as I was looking like grizzly Adams. I had seen this place a few times, and decided to support a local business. The entire team here is amazing, all are very friendly, professional, and kind. The service was awesome, my beard looked terrific, and felt better, and it was an excellent experience. I will definitely be back in a few weeks, I found my new favorite grooming spot.

I have only been to this shop once as I live out of state but I would make the drive just for their service. If you live near here and dont use their service you are doing it wrong. I promise you this is the best experience you could expect. I usually get my hair cut every week and have been in hundreds of shops, this place floored me. I couldnt be happier with my barber Tesha. Please go see her you will be mad at yourself for not coming here sooner.

First time here, I was highly impressed. My wife made me come to get a pedicure, manicure while I was here I added a haircut and shave. I like they only take appointments to ensure that you get the best quality with your service. Not only did the barber taking care of me listen and really gave me the best haircut I have got in years but the whole staff got along and included everyone in their laughter. It was nice to feel like I was around long term friends.These is my spot for sure, the worst part about these is I had to go home and tell my wife is was right again.

I must admit it was the first time I went to a lady barber, a little scared at first. This turned out to be the best haircut Ive got, best part is the shampoo Ive never got until today. I wish I could give an honest review of the barbers at this shop. I called to make an appointment for my son who has unruly hair. We have tried many barbers in the area with horrible luck so I nicely asked if there was a specific barber that could cut unruly hair with several cowlicks. She rudely told me that “all the barbers were good” and with a horrible attitude asked me if I wanted to schedule. Unfortunately, if you work in customer service you can’t be rude before customers even step in the door! I’d recommend getting a new receptionist if you want quality, loyal customers!

It was my first time here today, I must say I was a little worried since I had the same barber for the last 5 years. Walking into the shop I didn’t know what to except but I was greeted with my first name (even though I had never been there before). Offered a drink which they have a wide selection of. I was about 15 minutes early so I waited to see how the feel was. Everyon, barbers and the clients in their chairs where all laughing and having a great time. It was my turn I sat down in Heather’s chair. Told her what I’ve got before and my concern about my hairline. She listened but then said she was going to try something knew with the top, if I didn’t like it she would do what I got in the past. I was worried but figured it couldn’t hurt right? During the haircut we laughed like I was a regular there, didn’t even know that the haircut was completely done. She asked what I thought I was shocked never did anyone offer these, she created me a hairline in which every other person just cut it off. Yes I’m a little thin on top but you couldn’t tell with how she cut my hair. I almost wanted to hug her, she was great. Still got my taper fade but know instead of buzzing off the top I still have hair that doesn’t look thin at all.I guess I learned if a professional knows what they are doing you don’t have to tell the, what to do. I have found my new spot these ladies are amazing. Thanks Heather for being so kind, and understanding about my thinning top. You changed my confidence an attitude about the top of my head.The first woman to cut my hair, I wish I would of found you years ago.

Went today to get a razor fade with shampoo, and massage. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new barber. Service was great. Barber/stylist was very engaging, and kind! The atmosphere alone really made it an enjoyable experience. All in all great service for a great price. If you want a clean razor fade, strongly recommending Jules, however I’m sure all their barbers/stylist will do a great job. 100 percent going to be a regular.

The owner Heather is so rude and unprofessional....I was running late for my appt. and so I called to inform them. They picked up and I said I was going to be late she said ok then abruptly hung up. I get there and she tried to say I never called despite having proof in my phone that I did. She sat there and called me a liar and said she had been sitting by the phone. Then went on to complain about her miserable life saying I cut hair 60hrs a week and dont have time to be disrespected. Clearly a pathetic excuse for a business owner who was having one of her many bad days. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time or money she has a bunch of inexperienced barbers in there anyway.....

Armani is the best! I brought my husband and Father in for some bonding time. They got manicure, pedicure, haircut and shave (a mans spa day) Its amazing to have a place like this right down the street. Not only do they do all the services but the vibe when you walk in is so welcoming and fun. Even though I wasnt getting anything done because its a mans place to get pampered they still made me feel welcome. I came back when they were done and my dad who has never got most of what I signed him up for was so happy and wanted to get another appointment set up. Thanks ladies

Absolute worst haircut experience I have had. Heather (apparently the owner) was very rude and extremely unprofessional during my haircut and even right when I sat down in the chair with her. Such a weird experience and I was legitimately confused with what was happening. Not a clue how this place has a high rating.

I have tried most of the men’s haircut shops in this area, and I was constantly frustrated by the wait times and an inability to get a consistently good haircut. At The Gentlemen’s Groom Room I have been able to schedule appointments with the same professional. My appointment time is always met, and my haircut looks great every time! I do not recall one time over the past year that I have had a wait, and I have never been disappointed in the service that I received. Make an appointment, it is well worth it!

First time here and I must say words can’t say how amazing the staff and atmosphere is. I had to bring my kids with me today because my wife is gone. They had tons of stuff to do while I got a haircut and shave which I got to relax for an hour. The team made me feel like I was a long time client and they also kept checking on my kids so I could relax. I would highly recommend this place. Havent been this frustrated with a haircut/ barber experience in my life. I now have to wait months to get the haircut I went in yesterday for.Read below to learn the specifics.The experience I had yesterday was very frustrating and confusing and not one you want to experience when going to a barber shop.The process started very similar to previous barbers and everything appeared to be going well, but after telling the barber what I wanted things began to change rapidly. I was watching some TV and began to realize she was not following what I had mentioned. I wanted a tight cut with a tiny blend all around with not much taken off the top. I realized she began a larger fade and mentioned to her what direction I was thinking ( a tight cut with a tiny blend). She fixes the one side to what I wanted, but did no work on the right side.She began to work on the top and showed me an indicated length and I corrected her, but agreed upon a length I knew I was happy with. I wanted it longer and just cleaned up so i can slick it back. She began to do what all inexperienced hair stylists/barbers make and continuously even out the hair until it was way to short (like over an 1.5 inches shorter than what I wanted. I mentioned to her that it was to short but the damage was already done.As I mentioned that the right side was still unfinished, I thought maybe it could work out just fine as the hair cut was not finished. As the left side was what I wanted, I told her to match the left side. She takes her razor and just cuts off the right side not matching it with the left causing her to have to cut the left. This is when Tasha stepped in and started teaching my barber how to properly cut hair. I am glad she stepped in as I was freaking out slowly on the inside.She turns the hair back over to my barber which proceeds to make my style my top which ended up looking like a Mohawk. Tasha steps in and proceeds to do the best she can to save my hair ( thanks Tasha the only reason I am giving this two stars) but that in turn caused more hair to be cut from the top. When she is finished I noticed a chunk of hair on my right side was still there and instructed my barber to fix this. She fixed this, but but made me feel uncomfortable.She told me she didnt want to mess my hair up any more and didnt do the shampoo that was included ( how can someone mess a shampoo up, like seriously).The other staff there made me feel slightly better, and they told me it was one of her first days at the facility. If this is the case someone should be watching her more closely or tell you up front that she is new so I can change how I explain the haircut.I left with some hope, but this morning I realized how much hair she did end up cutting. It will takes at least two months to get the hair cut I wanted. I ended up paying what anyone else would have but with a bad haircut and no shampoo.

Awesome place. About 2 months old and Im angry I havent been here yet. Went in this weekend and will be back again and again. Place is top notch. They offer several different packages for different types of hair styles. This is not your typical chop shop where they rush you in and out. Person cutting my hair (Tesha) took her time and did an awesome job. Haircuts include a hot towel and wash out. Neck straight razor is an awesome touch. Will definitely be back!!

The consultation before they begin the service is very in depth to make sure they are on the same page as you. I watched as this new place got ready to open over recent months. I have been in the Denver area for almost three years and have tried in vain to find a barber shop that I like. I went there this morning. FINALLY!! This is it. I got a great cut from Heather, followed by a soothing hair wash and a lathered razor cut on the neck. Such a wonderful service experience. This place is all about customer service, distinguishing it from 99 percent of the shops out there that serve men. The vibe here is sophisticated and soothing. Its a family establishment, replete with wonderful little boys playing in the background. I love it. I will be back, and back, and back again. Came in today for a haircut, first time in I was told the next reservation was at 340. I made it and came back. Must say it was worth the wait, my son has anxiety when it comes to haircuts they took their time his face and I was very please that I had to make a reservation instead of being rushed in and out of the door thank you guys so much he is excited to come back and play games and get his haircut this is the first time in seven years that all he does is talk about his next haircut ! I visited this store 2 weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised with the greeting that I received and the information that I asked about their services was something that I had questioned. They gave me answers to all of my questions it was a very clean facility and I made an appointment to come in and had Tesha do my hair and cover my gray hair! I just had a second appointment as I am going out of town and needed to have a fresh haircut and try to make myself look a little younger! Im very pleased with this location and went they offer to help out man and US wanting to have an opportunity to go somewhere to be groomed. I will be a customer of this location for a while!

They dont take your haircut seriously or even try to make sure it looks even. Came in for a trim and clean up, left with my beard butchered and lopsided with patches left, and weird short strip in the back underneath my long hair. The whole thing is done without care. Dont bother with this place.Edit after response:Had I asked for an undercut I wouldnt be upset. Had I asked for 3-4 inches to be taken off my beard I wouldnt be upset. Saying that other people enjoy something I didnt ask for is not good customer service.

This place is great. Stopped by today for a haircut since it had been 7 months or so and Tesha did it spot on. When we left even my daughter said I looked handsome and was shocked. The staff is amazing and I will never complain about a place that offers a beer while you get your hair cut. I live 2 min away so now I have no excuse for skipping a haircut.While I was getting my trim and make over my daughter had a great time playing with the foosball and checkers, she even made a friend.Spot on my new number one place. I used to go to Floyd’s but not any more.

I must say at first I was wondering about this place because of the review about them adding whatever tip they want. I have been there 3 times now Tesha and Julisa have done my hair. Must say dont believe everything you read. I wish I would of found this place a lot sooner, haircut is top quality! The service from the time you walk in the door until the time you learn in above the best I have ever had. Only $25 for a haircut and yes I tip $25 I tip based on quality and service, I do believe they get good tips based on what I have experienced.And just to clarify when checking out they ask how much you would like to put on the card, repeat the amount. Then the total comes up on the screen you have to say yes or no and then sign. Not sure how they could ever take advantage of you. It is by far the most false statement anyone to say about this small business.TOP QUALITY, Highly recommended

I bought my husband a gift certificate and he said the place was filthy. Hair still in the sink when his was washed, shelves covered with hair and dirt and the floor filthy. He had a pedicure but they did not even buff his heels. He has neck problems and they would not put a towel under his neck when shampooing his hair. The straight razor was not even sharp enough. He will not go back.

Loved the visit today, walked in with my two boys after school only had to wait 10 minutes. Set up my first son up with tesha then I was able to play with my other son while waiting we played darts, fuzz ball and Pac-Man. Then set up my second son and got to do the same while he was waiting. I don’t get much quality time one on one with my boys only but this gave us 20 minutes each of having fun just one on one. Highly recommended

Haven’t had this experience since I left home in New York 3 years ago. Until yesterday I didn’t think Colorado knew about the quality of service. From the time I walked in until the moment I left I was wowed. I heard about this new spot in Aurora, come to find out it was only 10 minutes from my house. I called booked a haircut and shave, then I was asked if I wanted to add a pedicure, manicure or facial. Why not it’s Sunday and my football team wasn’t playing. I spend 4 hours at The Gentlemens Groom Room and have never been so well taken care of, they made me feel like family. Most amazing experience in Colorado, I will most definitely be back

Husbands haircut was good, front desk staff was friendly. There was a long wait as there were only a couple stylists working. I waited for about an hour or so for my husband to finish his haircut and asked to use the restroom. As I walked back to it another employee, possibly a manager (?) approached me very callously and asked if I needed help, then proceeded to give me a very dirty look as I told her I was just going to use the restroom. Im speechless at how poorly I was treated as a pregnant woman requesting to use their restroom. Women beware. We will not be returning to this business due to lack of human decency and harassment towards a pregnant woman whose husband was a paying customer.

So excited I found this place! I went to eat and found a great new place to relax. The Gentlemens Groom Room is top notch, I walked in there was 3 guys waiting, I thought it was going to be a long wait, I was greeted very fast and friendly . Come to find out 2 of the guys had already got their haircuts they just wanted to hang out. I was taken back by Tesha only waiting about 5 minutes for her to clean up. The owner was their and was the nicest owner I have meet esp after learning she works over 75 hours a week. I dont know how she is so kinda and happy after that. Tesha did the best haircut making sure I was happy then I got a shampoo where I got to put my feet up and a hot towel. This is the best place around we needed this in the community. I will be back Friday for a pedicure and facial with Tesha cant wait to experience that.Thank you so much, its nice to see a business owner actually care about the community and their business.
