I was very surprised because they were so busy (which any good shop is) and they still honored my appointment time. Most places even with an appointment take all day or days. I’ve brought multiple vehicles from Japanese, German, Italian, and American to them and they always do an exceptional job. Will continue to always use them for my servicing until they show me I shouldn’t, which I know the day will never come. Very professional and welcoming customer service! They were on time and very helpful.

We were referred to this company by the Discount tire across the parking lot to replace wheel studs damaged by the tire company. The company couldn’t figure out how to remove the lug nuts( which discount tire had just removed and installed). Instead of finding a solution (any true mechanic shop could have figured out) they sent a juvenile driver out of the shop to go home 45 miles away at 75 mph with 4 lug nuts missing on the car. 2 of them on the same wheel. Extremely dangerous at best, but also illegal. The company purposefully put an adolescenct in extreme danger by choice. When we contacted them today, they offered to give us the wheel studs and do it ourself stating” why would you have us do it if we weren’t able to the first time”. Very valid point by the manager. After contacting the tire store about it, they were appalled. I would warn any person needing work for safety on their vehicle to stay very far from this company as they aren’t capable of problem solving. The manager of this store when confronted with the situation was absolutely the rudest person I have dealt with in any situation. I’m not one who has EVER filled out a negative review, but when you risk a persons life and refuse to take any type of responsibility for your actions, I feel it necessary to warn those who would attempt to trust them. Our next phone call will be with their personal insurance carrier and the NTSB to have their license reviewed. Please be careful and don’t take for granted that they should know what they are doing.

Break Plus on Tower Road!I brought my car to break plus which had kind of noise on front and passenger side tire to be fixed! They did not work on the issue! Instead of that they did something else and charged me more than $200 and did not solve the problem! It looks that they just brushed the breaks and handed to me with the same issue!I couldnt work all day because I had no car!They kept my car all day and even I had to call them to see if its done and then they said it is ready!The old team was really good and the new team does NOT know how to solve the problem!When I returned my car to be checked again, one of them said yes theres a problem, but the other one said NO theres no any problem!I DO NOT recommend any body here!Good luck folks!

I took my truck to Breaks plus on Tower Rd 3 times in the course of 20 days to get my truck aligned. I left work one day two hours early and the final day I had to completely call off of work because they told me to have it there at 8am. My truck was perfectly fine prior to them working on it. Only reason I took it in is because I got new tires so I figured I’d get an alignment. Now the truck is unsafe to drive. If I let go of the steering wheel it will pull right so much I can almost make a full turn by simply letting go of the steering wheel. Today they again couldn’t not get it aligned because there machine was broken and I was not notified of this until 5:30pm, when I called to check on the status. I WILL NEVER use breaks plus again. Or have them touch my truck. I will go down the street to Les Shawb to have them clean up the mess Breaks Plus did on my truck. My truck is a 2021 and has 6,000 miles not it is unsafe to drive.

Went in for a diagnostic first guy was super nice didn’t charge me cause he said it was just clearing codes and was told if the check engine light comes on again just bring it back and he would check it out brought it back because the A/C stop working after codes were cleared and the guy at the counter told me it couldn’t be there fault that he would have to charge even after I told him A/C was just fine when I brought it in. If I knew they were going to mess up my A/C and then charge me to fix there mistake I would have just gone somewhere else. Imagine driving in this heat with no A/C because somebody doesn’t want to fix there mistake wonder how much it’s going to cost to fix

I have been a customer with brakes plus for years at the green valley ranch/tower road location, and I have always had a professional experience. The service men always do a thorough job and always suggest what I will need next on my vehicle to keep it in good running condition. I would recommend this business to others! The people that work at the front are super nice and generous. The reason for the 2 stars is that you took 3 hours to do a simple brake check. To make matters worse while my car was in the air, I saw literally no one working on any of the cars in the shop and instead 6 guys just talking and laughing as if their customers time was not valuable.CONSUMER - DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME.For management - if you didn’t have people that wasted time, you could have had 2 other walk in appointments on the books today. Your shop people are literally losing you money. Unless I’m just incompetent on how long it takes to check brakes and put the tires back on but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t take 3 hours to do. Brakes are your (assumed) specialty so prove it by not taking 3 hours to do a simple job.

My brakes were pretty bad (metal on metal). The issue had gotten worse. I scheduled a last minute appointment @ 4pm the same day and was running late. I called and spoke with Patrick. He said it was ok and that I could still come in. I got there and sat for about an hour. Unfortunately they could not take me the same day, but Patrick said to come in the next day when they open and they would service my car.I did end up leaving my car the next day all day. Because the brakes in the front were metal on metal it did cost me more than I expected, but at this point it was an emergency. The one thing I was a little disappointed with was that my car had been done and they didn’t call me to let me know. But the customer service was on point. Thanks Brakes Plus!

This place is a joke, I took my truck in for a simple brake bleed ($69.99), they proceeded to take the wheels off & tell me that Im missing parts & it was going to cost me over $300 to fix. I took it home & bled the brakes myself which in fact was the ONLY issue. Basically they charged me a diagnostic fee for an incorrect diagnosis... an obvious attempted upsell job!!!Dont get robbed by Brakes Plus on tower rd.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Vanessa is rude and extremely unprofessional. Brakes plus did a service without explaining it first which I refused to pay for. I’ve gone there two times for a diagnosis to change the lines on my AC and they forgot which line it was so now I have to go back AGAIN for them to see which one and then schedule another appointment for repair. Four appointments for one repair? And the shuttle they advertise is a joke. The worker said they don’t even offer one. DO NOT COME HERE. Avoid it at all costs. Just a waste of time and a headache. ZERO stars if I could.

I’m so glad I listened to my gut and only got an oil change at this location! Got an oil change for two of my cars. They couldn’t take the extra five seconds to reset my oil maintenance light so it didn’t reflect as 5% oil life.. I asked for a quote on the brakes (I knew I wouldn’t trust them with the work based on previous reviews I read) and over the phone Dennis quoted me a little over $750 (including the $50 oil change). I get home to see the quote is actually for $622, $80 (or more) less than what Dennis said over the phone. Tried to get one over and have me agree to a higher amount over the phone to lock me in.Laughable.

They kept my car for 2 days, then installed a damaged part. When finished, they never called me but lied that they did when I showed up. I couldnt use the car but it took a whole day again to replace the parts yet did not call me when it was ready and lied again that they left a voice mail.I drove off just to find the lid of the section which they worked on, lying on the passenger side - not placed back. I have the video and pictures.I am very disappointed.

After my last experience with Brakes Plus of of Tower Road and I-70, I felt the need to update my previous review. When I first came into this location, Manny and Shane were the two people helping me out. They were more than fair in the way they treated me. Although many frustrating issues arose, they handled everything with compassion and patience. Then came Sean showing everyone up. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic I could not afford to tow my vehicle to get the transmission fixed. This location hooked up a veteran up. Sean did not even hesitate to help me. The compassion of this team is fantastic. Definitely a good management change they made.

Dealership said I needed a brake fluid flush for over $130 Brakes Plus could do it for $50 so went there. After arriving they checked the fluid and said it was still clear so didn’t need flushing. I had them replace my wiper blades instead! Highly recommend this brakes plus location!!!! Everyone there was super friendly and professional!

I had an amazing experience at BrakesbPlus! At my last oil change the dealership told me I needed front and back brakes. Brakes Plus looked it over and advised me only the back were needed which saved me over 100.00. They also have a lifetime warranty on the pads. Shane made drop off and pick up a breeze he was friendly and had attention to detail.. This is not my first experience with Brakes Plus but I think I found my favorite location!

I was there for my head light bulb change for 4 times. They never put it in the correct way. They wasted my time, money. Now they are saying it’s a electrical problem. Not professional mechanics. And the guy on the phone Norman was rude.

Manny is great at what he does. He let me know what it would take to get my vehicle back on the road. Great friendly team. Norman was very funny and I really recommend everybody to this shop. They really care about your safety.

Had my vehicle in for a brake inspect. When done the first thing I noticed walking to my vehicle was a piece of window trim sticking up. Upon closer inspection the tech had rolled down my window and it had jumped the track. Rather than fix it he just left it. Im sure I will be told that I should have gone back in and complained, but I too work in a similar business. You dont have to tell us because if we break your window we tell you about it and offer to fix it before we just give you your keys. This store loosing out on the $750 worth of work they quoted me.

I had service done on 3/17/2021 Mr. Marks, I believe was his name was very helpful. He went above and beyond my expectations. I actually left earlier than expected. The people there are friendly and very courteous to the needs of the customers.

The entire staff is exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable for everything I have came to them for, as a hard working nurse with two jobs I need a dependable vehicle, and this crew keeps me rolling. The management team (Shawn Culton) always does thorough explanation of what needs to be done and how long It will take to be ready, he is very professional and always with a friendly smile to make me feel comfortable. I really appreciate there compassion and respect of my time. they not only meet my expectations, but go above and beyond to be sure I am a happy, satisfied customer when I leave, which is why I wouldnt take me vehicle anywhere else.

VERY disappointed in the phone service while trying to make my appointment. Got put on hold, after explaining my needs. New person finally answered and insisted that I start explaining all over again. What happened to the guy that already had my information??Don’t have the time for this and sounds like they were too busy to get to me any time soon, so off to do the repairs myself.Might try again another time, but this sort of thing is just not the thing, ya know?

Ive been going to this particular location for years. Never really had any problems with them until today. I had an appointment at 4 pm for an oil change. I called back at 5 to check on the status of my vehicle. I was told it would be ready by 545 pm. I got to the shop at 550 pm and was told if I can leave the vehicle there so it can be worked on in the morning. It blows my mind that it would take two hours just to do an oil change. I was never given a good answer on why it wasnt done before the shop closed at 6 pm. This was very annoying! I tried to call the GM Shawn Culton but he wasnt there. Manny picked up my phone call and he was able to get my truck in. Shane was nice enough to make things right with me. I hope these problems dont happen again in the future

Shawn and his team went above and beyond. We were stranded in Denver trying to make it to Colorado Springs and our water pump broke. It was leaking fluid everywhere. I have never been so upset and stressed out until today that they screwed up my 14 Tundra so much. I went in on saturday and got my break/coolant fluid flushed - done, however, the next day when I parked my truck in the parking lot at my job and 2-3 hours later, I realized that my coolant is so low that its not even close to the LOW line. And then I went in on monday to get it fixed and they said it could be a air pocket....so they checked it for 30 mins or so and found NOTHING. I didnt see any leaks around my engine, so that tells me they didnt put enough fluid in there when they were suposed to. And then the next day, I got my brake pads, rotors, and fog lights replaced and boy am I NOT happy.First - They lost 2 bolts around the skid plate area, 1 on passenger side and the other 1 on the plastic front cap that holds the skid plate into place, and I just bought 3 of those bolts recently to and they sure werent cheap. (They need to pay for that on what they lost of mine)Second - When they were working on the fog lights they lost 3 pins around the corners, all 3 on passenger side so they had to use a old screw to put on my truck (LIKE SERIOUSLY?!?! Tell me before you put it on).Third - When they changed my rotors and brake pads, they over threaded the allen sockets on my hub caps on ALL 4 wheels (YES, ALL 4 WHEELS), so the next time I get a tire rotation, theyll all have to come off and I have to drive them off because those rims and hub caps are discontinued so dirt and debre will get inside of them.Forth - They also damaged my bellow clamp on the rack and pinion passenger side so I had to get a new one.Lastly - I had to go back in today becuase they forgot to put my aftermarket socket in my glove compartment and they shouldve known to do that from the start.So I am NOT a happy camper and I would never EVER go here again and do all that work MYSELF or go somewhere else with better technicians and know how to do there job properly the right way and make there customers happy. Very stressed out and disapointed. 0/10

Had an axle and hubcap about to fall apart. They fixed it within hours, gave myself & my siblings a ride home. They were fair with the price and picked us up to retrieve the car. Shawn was kind and very efficient. 5 out of 5 stars!!

They dont know how to change oil in a shop full of tools without breaking vacuum lines, and of course they say nothing about it. Their oily prints are all over the area which is enough proof they did it. Not taking any of my cars here again.

Our experience w/Brakes Plus in Aurora was disheartening, due to an unfortunate customer service experience with their general manager (Shawn Culton). I do hope this concern is escalated to the corporate office, as Shawn is not representing your company professionally and would hope youd want to hold your employees to a higher level of standard. We took our vehicle into Shawns location in Aurora, CO to be fully serviced (oil change, check brake pads, check all fluids, etc.) as we are traveling 9hrs. this following week to visit our parents. We had to take our vehicle in again today, as the coolant light went on indicating low level. It was disappointing we had to take our vehicle back in (as we asked for all fluid levels to be checked last week). We called ahead of time and were told we would get right in and someone would just top off the coolant. I took the vehicle in today to wait in line for a half hour (not anyones fault there), but then after being checked in waited another half hour. At this point I asked if I should leave the vehicle all day, which I didnt mind, but wanted a general idea of how long Id be waiting. After another 20mins. I still was not given an answer and was disappointed at the lack of customer service provided (especially being the second time taking the car in for their oversight). Shawn came out to talk to me upon voicing this concern and I was very shocked at the way he spoke to me as the general manager. Instead of starting with I apologize you had to take the car back into us this week and also for the long wait he began with Well I was here when you brought the car in last week and I know they checked the fluids. I was a little taken back by his approach and showed him the picture I took of the coolant light being on (I have attached the photo to this review). I told Shawn it just may have been a better customer service experience if he gives the customer the benefit of the doubt if they said their coolant light is on? At this point he didnt even apologize for his rude and argumentative demeanor, he just said that theyll take care of it soon. Honestly, a genuine apology would have went a long way. After they finally finished my vehicle I was transparent w/Shawn and told him I would be submitting my concern to Brakes Plus corporate office. He immediately again became argumentative and condescending and continued to interrupt me when I tried to explain to him my concern. After expressing my concern he FINALLY said well Im sorry you had to take your car in again this week. It was just interesting that as a general manager it was difficult for him to just acknowledge a possible oversight of his shop and to be accountable. This is typically the first role, function, and trainable attribute that a manager role presents. I, myself, have never experienced anything like this at a management level in a customer service industry. The company I work for would view this as inexcusable behavior, if they were to conduct themselves as Shawn Culton did today. There are always errors and mistakes in any industry, but it is the way an escalated manager/supervisor can resolve a conflict or error that reflects on the integrity of the company.
